Everybody wants to rule the world

The first night since opening that the casino had been fully closed for more than just one day. But well, ever since they got back here last night, they had taken the day off. Because well things had needed to be dealt with. River had been sitting in his office with mostly trying to figure out with Orion how to deal with all of this that now had happened to him, which was a whole other thing. Whilst River knew that Bast and Kailani had been trying to prepare Lucille for it too - not really knowing how they did that, but well to River - it wasn't what was most important right now.

Which in all left Timothy alone by the sloth machines, winning, then losing because well this was how the games worked - but damnit it was boring. Then he heard something and walked closer towards the bar, "I wouldn't do that, Kai is not keen on others touching her stuff, you should know that," he pointed out and clicked his tongue a little bit pointing towards the bottle. "But I will take the hug from my favorite aunt." A noise from upstairs was to be heard as the door opened, and River stepped out, followed by Orion - in his new skinsuit and all. "Oh yeah, I keep forgetting that," Timothy looked shortly towards his father now looking like Anthony, then shaking his head a little bit. "I didn't know you were planning on coming to visit," River chuckled a little walking over to greet his daughter in a hug. Orion took a sharper breath in, "hello sister, it's been a while." - "You don't say, there I was beginning to think you had completely neglected us all together!" Kailani as well stepped down the stairs towards the bar, grabbing a few glasses making them ready for the amount of drinks that would be needed shortly.

“Oh, Timothy, you should know it’s mostly just you that aren’t allowed to do anything that has something to do with Kailani’s things” she winked, then she looked up at the people coming down the stairs. So what on earth was Anthony doing here, and then it seemed like he was on the right foot with her father? Something seemed off; however, there was something about the smell and the gate of Anthony that reminded her of her brother instead of the man nobody here particularly liked.
“Always did like to make an entrance”, she mumbled, not really paying attention other than her eyes glued to the man walking around looking like the human no one cared for. Then she leaned over the bar and grabbed his chin as he said, sister. “Orion?” she asked to clarify, even if she already knew the answer to that question. “Jesus fucking christ”, she pushed away her brother's face, but it still wasn't her brother's face. “My brother changes into fucking Anthony, and nobody thought, hey, let’s call up his sister and tell her?” she looked towards her father and then happily took the drink Kailani had made for her.
But as things couldn’t get any worse, the smell of Nathalie almost knocked Veronica over. “Someone should tell darling Veronica that she is leaving her luggage for people to trip over”, Veronica rolled her eyes “maybe I hoped you would”, she mumbled, knocking back the drink and quickly grabbing Orion’s glass to down that one too.
“Who invited the human?” she mumbled not even giving Anthony the dignification to use his name before she walked over and gave her son a quick toss of his hair. “hello darling, been keeping out of trouble, I hope?” she said with an almost motherly smile before turning back to look at Anthony, something was off. Her brows pressed together, “what, why is everyone staring? Have I been banned or something?” she wondered before she walked towards Kailani and gave her a sweet smile. “Could I maybe bother you for one of those as well?” she asked with a soft voice before letting her gaze turn back to what everyone still seemed to stare at. Anthony.

Orion was perhaps the one with the hardest time around this, luckily Veronica was a clever girl, he knew that so he let her figure out the rest. Even letting her grab his chin, nodding to confirm, then taking a step back. "To be fair it all happened Yesterday, so we are still really figuring it out," River pointed out looking at his daughter and breathed out. "Anth-" well more wasn't allowed out of River's mouth before another person made the choice to join the party. He raised a brow looking at Natalie bouncing into the casino. Orion exhaled a bit looking at Nathalie, it had been a while since he last saw her, and well, he wasn't really looking like himself. "It's a long story," River sighed a little, narrowing his eyes. Timothy looked towards his mother and narrowed his eyes just a little bit, then she ruffled his hair, not really getting to say anything as everyone was more or less starring.

"Not banned," River pointed out lifting a finger. "However I think it will get out soon enough anyways, so you might as well know," River let out a sigh looking towards Orion still not used to him looking like Anthony - no matter how many hours he by now had starred at his son. Kailani fetched Natalie a quick drink, and pushed the glass towards her. "So yeah, to be frank doll, I'm not Anthony," Orion then broke the silence and clicked his tongue a little bit. "I was killed by an archangel and whilst I hate to say this, I soul jumped while Linus killed Anthony - my throat is still sore after that," he shook his head a little bit keeping his eyes on Natalie not that he expected an actual reaction from her. "Tell me about it," Kailani downed one of the drinks she had poured up, still having signs of the bruises on her throat, but make up did cover up the worst of it.

Now, everyone that knew Nathalie understood that she was under the constant manipulation of her own mind that vampires possessed. Now it wasn’t because Veronica didn’t understand the need to, and she wouldn’t for one second try to think she understood what Nathalie had been through, but it didn’t take a genius to trace it back to something traumatic had been happening.
But something that most hadn’t expected was that Nathalie looked shocked for a moment. Pushing away from the bar with her hands, then walked towards Orion, that now looked like Anthony. And much like what Veronica had done, she took his hands, but this was far gentler than his sister had done. Her thumbs glided over the stumble on his cheek. “Well, I’ll be damned”, she whispered as he explained an archangel had killed him. Her hand found his neck and very gently traced the marks that hands had left behind. “Going from a demon to a human is one thing, but going from looking like you did to this”, she let her tongue glide over her lips to give her some time to think about what to say next. “Are you okay?” she asked, lifting a brow, ignoring Veronica, who muttered; Now I’ve seen it all before Veronica turned and started helping Kailani make drinks for everyone.

Orion looked into the eyes of Nathalie as she walked over and grabbed his face - well of course with a more gentle touch than his sister had done minutes ago, the amount of times Timothy already had poked his cheeks beforehand. Well Orion was a bit tired of people touching his face, even if it wasn't his face. Well here he was just cursing in his own head how he had been the doppelganger of an archangel and now he was looking like the bastard Anthony. "Ha, trust me - once I find a way to get my demonic skin back, baby, I'm going back," he replied not paying much offence to looking like Anthony if he could at least just get his inner demon to burst through and take over the body. Anthony's body was filled with so much other sort of energies it should be able to take the demonic take over - shouldn't it? "I will be fine," he mumbled a little, not that he was completely fine. He had been killed, feeling his soul burn out of his body just before he could feel the strike of death, then entered this vessel, "my throat is just a bit sore - remind me not to wrestle with Linus whilst I'm in this vessel," Orion tried to humor it a bit away. Kailani looked towards Veronica who started helping her at the bar, "stranger things have happened here, you just wait," she shook her head a little, before she downed a glass of whisky herself. Then once again looked at Orion while shaking her head.

Nathalie twitched her lips together as she inspected Orion in Anthony’s body; she looked towards his sister and then back. “Can’t she just, I don’t know, find a demon kill it, and then make sure that it's warm and nice for you to enter?” she asked, lifting a brow. “I mean, shouldn’t really be that hard. You just have to do it again, die, move into the body, well then job’s done” she let her tongue glide over her lips as she narrowed her eyes “or is there another reason why you might be staying in his body?” she wondered, not understanding what was keeping him back from taking another body if he disliked this so much. “Oh”, a smirk formed over her lips as she stepped closer to him, her eyes playfully narrowing “let me guess, he has something bigger than what you had before”, she mused, delighted when Veronica almost choked on her drink when she swallowed just as Nathalie had made her little assumption. “Wow, sister, present, please; I didn’t need to have this picture inside my brain”, Veronica moaned in disbelief and drowned the rest of her drink. Nathalie winked and stepped away to get her cigarettes to lit one and place it between her red painted lips.
