Lost in a sea of grey and blue

Luca had been... Sorta okay, everything taken into consideration, these past months. He still missed Nickie so terribly... But he knew he had to move on. It was what the witch had wanted... And he had also begged for him to not shield himself again, like he had after Chloe's death... Like he had when they had first met. That part was harder to accomplish,but he tried his best. He owed the witch as much.

But tonight... It had been about high time that he got some proper food. Not just the raw fish he had in his fridge. But human meat. He had been feeling the hunger grow over the past few days, and as such, knew that he had to get some into him sooner rather than later, unless he wanted to risk attacking a human on open street.

So, he had gone to the bay... And having found a lonesome guy, he had lured him into the water, and taken him all the way out here where nobody could see him devour the guy. Now done with his meal, he was resting against a rocky outcropping in the water, his back turned to the beach as he began washing himself free of the blood.

Asher sighed, as he looked at the sunset. The water gently pushing upon the soft sand, making it harder to walk in, as he was holding his sandals in his hands. His steel grey eyes looking off into the distance. He walked in his own thoughts, as his gaze followed the beautiful water.. the soft waves that glided along the waters surface, as his gaze followed the waves out to the rocky outcropping..
He didnt stop, as he noticed what seemed to be... was that.. a siren?.
He looked at him with big eyes, as he suddenly.. " Woah! " found himself ingulfed in water. He did get some air down, before he felt the water embrace his body, as his black shirt and jeans started to hang tightly to his body, waying him down.. as he got on his knees as he gasped a little. Having been suddenly drenched like that, had gotten him to completely forget everything about the siren.. as he gasped after his breath a little, from the shock, of falling over his own two feet.
He sighed, as he looked down himself, his now drenched water, before " Fuck! " he exclaimed, as he got up on both feet, as he started to walk further out in the water after his sandals. Good thing, he hadnt taken his phone with him, as it could have been ruined pretty quickly.
He grabbed one of them, as he was already standing in water to his stomach, and then leaned forward to get the other one.

And just as he was relaxing... He heard somebody stepping into the water. Quickly, almost as a reflex, he wiped away most of the blood from his lips and chin, before he turned to see a seemingly young guy having gotten almost 'sucked' into the water, as was something that so easily happened at this time of day, when the tides were changing... Not that Luca himself ever had to worry about that, of course. Being as natural a swimmer as sirens were, and able to breathe both water and air.

But, his natural curiosity got the best of him, as it so often did... As he quietly slipped back down into the water... Swimming just below the surface, almost all the way over to the guy, only stopping two meters or so, from him, before he surfaced again. "You look like you could use a bit of help..." he said with a chuckle, and just the slightest bit of a teasing glint in the crystal clear, blue eyes that looked up at the guy.

Asher was completely in his own thoughts, as he tried to get to the other sandal, before it would be sucked too far out, only to looked over at the stones for a short glance. * Oh god.. where.. where is the siren.. *. He felt a chill, as he had been almost CERTAIN.. that the siren had blood dripping down from its chin, but then again, it could have been from a fish, but he doubted it, but then again, who was he to judge. He then turned only to get a grip of the sandal. " Alright!- ARGH! " he exclaimed from the shock, as he let go of the sandal, only to be pushed by the force of the current.. over towards the siren, as he grapped the sandal once more. " N-No " he said rather shocked, before he took a deep breath, as he blushed deeply.

This guy.. was fucking gorgeous!.
" Wauw " he blushed, as it hit him, that he just had said that.. before he turned around, as he said with a nervous little smile. " I´m.. i´m fine really. Nothing to see here.. ". It had been what?.. two weeks since he had been home, and here he was.. already about to drown himself, because of some stupid sandals. He pushed against the current, as he felt like he didnt come anywhere.. actually.. he felt like he was being pulled more and more out. " Nnn! " he tried to use his arm´s too.

Luca couldn't help but snicker a little - both at the shocked expression of the guy, and the little 'wauw' that very obviously left him without him intending to. "Hmm... Are you so sure about that?" he asked, watching the guy struggle, as he just let himself float in the surface, on his back, his tail moving just enough to keep him mostly still, even with the strong currents.

"You aren't really getting anywhere, are you?" another small tease. "The currents are quite strong here... But I guess you can feel that, now, can't you?" and then...he calmly swam a circle around the guy, taking in his looks properly... With how wet the clothes were, they clung to him, after all, and made it easy to see that he had quite a nice body...

"So... What have brought you out here to these treacherous waters, hmm?"

Asher blushed deeply, as he said " i´m not some damsle in distress.. and of course i am, look!. I have moved at least a little since last " he said with a soft snicker, almost a grunt, before he held his hand up to his mouth a little, as he looked embarrassed away from Luca.
" Y-yes " he said in a strained tone, to the thing with the currents.. as he tried to swim even harder, but... * Fuck *. His heart started to move faster, as he looked to be even more determined, as he said " Foot wear. I dont suppose you know of a good fish wear store out here in the ocean ".

He threw the sandals over to the shore, as it now hit him.. he was WAY longer out, to the point, where he couldnt feel the ground anymore, as he started to actually struggle this time.
" Nnh! ". He sighed, as he stopped struggling as much, as Luca also swam around him.. as he just looked towards the siren, and then towards the shore. His hair laying a little back in waves, and some in front of his face, as the steel grey eyes turned towards Luca once more.

"Hmm... Yes, you have... Away from the beach. Not what you were planning for, I'd guess?" he chuckled, and winked at the guy. "And... No, I do not. not even on Mako Island." he then snickered, swimming just in front of him.

And then... He looked straight into those eyes. The steel grey... So reminiscent of how Nickie's eyes had looked, right before he... Fuck... He swallowed, and blushed a little, before he cleared his throat. "Youah... Still sure you don't need any help?" he then asked, breaking the look, and looking down his body again. "You don't really seem to have proper footing any more, after all..."

Asher couldnt help but smile a little from hearing the guy snicker. It sounded kinda cute afterall. He stopped trying to swim forward, as Luca swam in front of him, while his own steel grey eyes, looked into those almost icy blue eyes of Luca´s. This guy, had almost the most vivid blue eyes he had ever seen.. and then it hit him. Alexander.. had almost the same vivid blue eyes, not as light, but.. close.

He blushed too, as he looked a little to the side, as he said softly " i.. " he felt tired in all his body, as he reached out to grab Luca´s arm, before he would let his arm´s glide around the guy´s neck, if he would let him, as he said, while panting from exhaustion. " I.. okay, i will give you that. I need help " he breathed deeply, as he looked embarrassed at Luca, before he moved a little out of the grip, just.. so he wasnt so close to the guy.

He had almost felt lost in those eyes for a moment, feeling almost a sort of tugging at his heartstrings... Before he'd brushed it off again. And then, he just smiled when he felt the grab in his arm, followed by Asher's arms around his neck. Smirking a little, he leant in a bit closer... Breathing in deeply of the guy's scent.

Even if the feeling from being around this guy hadn't already revealed it, his smell certainly did... What a cute little angel this was. "So... Help getting out to where I was... Or getting back to shore?" he asked with a teasing grin, winking at him as he let a finger slide up Asher's side, on the outside of his drenched shirt.

As Luca moved closer, so did Asher move a little back, as he blushed deeply, while looking at the siren, but this time for real, as he started to see.. some kind of light.. emit from the guy... grey in its color.. and the moral compass. * oh fuck.. *. He knew now, that maybe it hadnt been such a good idea.. to be near this guy, or even do this, as he looked a little towards the shore, and then at Luca, as he says softly, and almost as a whisper " H-Hey... " as he heard and almost felt the deep breath.. on his neck, as the guy sniffed his scent.

As Luca asked if it was help getting out where he was or back to shore, his eyes widened, as he said " SHORE, THE SHORE! " rather desperately, as he saw the teasing grin, before he made a pout, as he said " Assfish ". He stuck out his tongue, as he snickered a little, but soon stopped... as he felt the finger slide up his side.. clearly able to feel it.. as his clothing was hugging him so tightly, as if it was holding on for dear life, as he was drenched. " H-H-Hey. N-No touchy!. No " he said, as he moved one hand down to gently push Luca´s hand away, as he looked shyly to the side.

It felt weird.. being touched like that once again, by someone, who wasnt Alexander. He didnt know if it felt good or not. He was broken... probably as much as Luca was, just.. a different kind of broken, as he looked into Luca´s eyes, with blank and almost watery eyes.. as he looked away from him once more. Like he was in physical pain, from the heartbreak he was experiencing..

"Sorry... You just... Well.. You smell good." Luca had always been rather blunt, and he wasn't about to change that now. "And don't worry - not like that." he reassured him, with a bit of a chuckle, knowing most people might think he was talking about smelling good enough to eat, as his species was notorious for.

And the teasing grin turned into a full-blown laugh. "You should see yourself..." before he very lazily moved his tail a little, easily countering the current and bringing them just a little bit closer to the shore - not much, though. He had felt tempted to just lean in and kiss the guy when he stuck out his tongue, though... Having always taken that as an invitation beforehand... But he didn't, now, especially with the reaction the guy had to just that one finger slipping up his side.

He pouted a little, but then sighed, seeing... A look in the guy's eyes that he himself knew all too well. he swallowed as he looked off to the side, himself also overcome with sadness for just a moment... Again thinking about the last time he had seen eyes the exact color of this guy's. "... Sorry." he muttered, tone rather quiet and lacking any of the joyful teasing from just a moment earlier.

Asher looked a little surprised, as he heard the before laughing and teasing siren, suddenly saying sorry, and not only that but seeing how he looked off to the side. His steel grey eyes lingering a little longer on Luca at this time, as he gently leaned a little closer once more, as he held around, as good as he could at this moment, before he said softly " I.. i´m not mad ". He smiled a little, as he said " i liked you better.. when you were an assfish, and not a sad fish ".

He teased, as he gently ran his hand through the surface of the beautiful water, before he splashed softly towards Luca, just to make the guy think about something else, just like the guy had made him forget for a moment. " So sad fish, what is your name? " he smirked, as he tried to make the mood a little lighter.

His eyes drifted back to the angel when he felt those arms around him tightening again, though, blue meeting grey once more. "... Sorry, I just..." he sighed, but then smiled. "We all have our own things to fight with, don't we?" he knew he certainly had... And felt like he'd had more than his fair share.

"Luca." he then answered him, the Italian accent flowing thick as he said it. "And yours, little cutie?" he then asked, with the teasing smirk back in place like before, after that little splash of water chasing the thoughts away again.

He sighed softly, as he said with a heavy heart " Yes we do ". He could feel it. It was like something inside of him, just knew.. that this guy, he had something similar to him. Maybe they both shared a heavy heart, or maybe they both longed for something to hold onto, just to keep afloat for that much longer, until they would get rescued..

When he heard that heavy Italian accent, and the name, he couldnt help but chuckle a little, as he said " Oh, an Italian fish, i see ". He teased him a little, not in a mean way, but just a fun way, to try and lighten the mood that more. As he heard Luca ask him for his, and not only that, but call him a cutie on top of that.. he couldnt help but look a little to the side, with a blush still clear as day, over his cheeks, as he said " Asher ".

The grey looked back into the blue´s, as he just looked at Luca, with an almost curious gaze, before he looked towards land, as he said " For half a fish.. you really arent that fast, are you?. With this speed, we will both be swallowed by the tides " he snickered a little, as he smiled happily to Luca. " Or.. maybe that was your plan all along? " he teased.

And that sigh, the way he said it... Luca wasn't in doubt. They both shared the same type of pain, didn't they... A broken heart... Not knowing where they belonged anymore. If it hadn't been for his sister and his band... Luca didn't even know if he would still be around, regardless of Chloe and Nickie's wishes.

"Indeed. Sicily, born and raised in those waters." Luca then just chuckled, shrugging, as the guy so easily recognized his accent. Then again, it was perhaps one of the easier ones to spot, too. And that cute blush... He couldn't help but reach up to let two of his wet, webbed fingers brush over the cheekbone with that lovely red color. "Cute," was all he said - both to the name, and to the blush.

"Maybe it was," he then snickered. "You wouldn't even have gotten this far without me, now would you? You seemed to take one step forward, three steps back, out there..." he teased him with a grin playing at his lips as he gave another few lazy beats of his tail, bringing them just a bit closer to the shore. At the very least, Asher would be able to feel the sand again, now.

Asher's blush only got more prominant, from Luca's comment, about him being cute, and it didnt help, that the guy touched his cheek in the process.
As Luca snickered and said that maybe it was his plan.. he couldnt do anything other than laugh a little at it, as he smiled and then listened, until he felt the sand underneath his feet. " Think hoe boring your day would have been without me, trying to drown myself, for a cheap pair of sandals " he snickered back at him, as he smiled and then trembled slightly from the cold wind that hit his wet clothing.

"Indeed, just swimming and nothing to do," Luca agreed in a bit of a chuckle, while swimming closer to the shore with him... Although not quite the same place as where Asher had gotten into the water himself. "Gotta fetch my clothes," he offered by way of explanation, as he got them closer to some rocky outcropping on the beach itself. Once they were there, he pulled himself up on the beach... And could just reach the small bag he had there, first pulling out a towel to dry off, as he slowly reverted to his human form, tail splitting into his legs. That done, he then began pulling on his clothes. "I don't really think I've seen you around here before. Are you new to the area?"

Asher looked a little confused, as Luca wasnt swimming towards the beach, but towards the rocks instead, as he said " Oh. Wait what?! ". He looked shyly at Luca, as he said " B-But cant you just drop me off over.... okay then " he said, as he saw Luca change direction. He had been so close to get out of this guy´s claws, and now he was RIGHT back into them once more.

He held on tightly to Luca, when the siren pulled himself up on the beach, and Asher slowly let go of the guy, to get off him, as his legs felt heavy and he still was rather exhausted.
" N-No. I´ve lived here quite long actually, but i rarely got to the beach. Being homeless and such.. also.. the ocean scares me a little, so.. ". He blushed deeply, as he was about to get off Luca, when the guy took the towel, to dry himself off.

"This is easier." he just said, smiling and shrugging, and letting the guy get off of him while he toweled and got dressed - although if he tried to just hightail it out of there, he would grab his wrist and ask him to please stay.

"Really? Well... Guess I haven't been in town as much as I could have, anyway... So maybe that's why I haven't seen you. All the trips out of town to the record studio doesn't make it any easier to keep up with things, either..." he said with a bit of a chuckle. "So... Tell me a bit more about yourself. Besides being cute and maybe a bit clumsy. What do you do for a living?"

Asher was about to hightail it out of there, before he felt Luca grab his wrist, as he slipped and turned just in time, to land a little more comfortably, as he was on his knees now. He looked up at Luca with a strong blush, as he listened to the guy, before he sighed, as he tried to looked away from the naked guy.. like fuck.. he was hot.
" Ehm.. ". He cleared his throat a little, as he shrugged before he said " Dying, apparently... not much else really ". He looked up towards the sky, as he said " i dont really have a job, yet. I mean.. i was a model, or an aspiring one, before i got hit with a car, or more like threw myself´s in front of one, to save another ". He looked down a little, as he said " Was rather stupid.. now that i think about it ". He touched the place he had, had Alexander´s name on his collarbone, as he sighed softly.

" What.. about you?. You mentioned something about a record studio?. So are you some kind of famous singer? ". He raised his brow a little, before he asked " or guitarist or something? ". He hadnt heard Luca´s music, but that was mostly, because he hadnt really had access to a phone for a long time, and then when he had, he hadnt really heard that much rock, not that he didnt like it.. he just.. didnt think too much about it, to be honest.

He looked a little towards him, as he said " you dont look familiar.. ". He snickered, as he said " but dont worry, perhaps i will hear something, one day, when you get popular enough, to end on my spotify " he winked at him, before blushing a little again, as he said " W-Well, i better get going.. ". He was starting to freeze a little, as he trembled slightly, from having been drenched.

"... Oh. So... You're a reborn angel, then..." and when he heard what had caused his death and all - he shook his head. "No, that wasn't stupid. That was very noble of you. It's no wonder you got to be reborn." he knew that he, himself, had done way too much to ever be reborn as an angel, that much was for sure. Especially with the eating people, although he really couldn't help that - he needed it, and he'd rather eat it on his own terms than wait and let the instincts overrule everything.

"And yes, I'm a singer. In a rather famous metal band." he chuckled. "So if I don't look familiar, I guess that's just because you don't listen to my genre? We're been on a couple world tours already." he said with a bit of a snicker. "Hang on... I mean, I know we've only barely gotten to know each other - but you seem really nice. Would you mind giving me your number...?" again, he was always very straight-forward and blunt with everything.

Asher couldnt help but smile a little by the way Luca asked for his number. " Oh really? ". He thought about it for a little while, as he started to go back, carefully, as he said " you know what landfish, i kinda owe you some kind of appreciation, dont i?. Okay.. if you can get it, before its washed away from the tides, then i will say you have earned it ". He smirked, as he leaned a little forward towards the wet sand, as he started to write it, but on purpose, wrote it a little higher up, so the water wouldnt take it instantly.

" Hope to hear from you, and thanks again for the help. Landfish " he winked, as he waved to Luca, before he started to run back to his sandals, so he could go away from the place. He didnt have his phone on him at the moment, but.. he hoped the gorgeous stranger, would at least.. get the number, or else.. he was almost certain, that he would be able to find him here at the water again.
