| LOCATION The prison and wherever Kem is. DATE 2nd of October 2021 TIME 14.30 TOPIC FOR @Kemuel Nelson ______________________________ An inmate from Ground of Lily Prison is attempting to contact you. Press 1 to take the call. Press 2 to decline.
___________________________________ How had she ended up here? She had been so careful. And yet, you learned to live with the comfort of people not caring, or not thinking about it. Not thinking about what happened back in January. Not that Seraphina ever forgot the fact that she had killed Ryan's brother, how could she forget? But she also knew, not to confess to high about anything and to keep her head low. The less people who knew, the better, but you couldn't hide a fallen angel forever. It was a matter of time before someone would pull the pieces together of the Walker's having lost a brother and Seraphina's fame hadn't really helped spreading rumors. It had been tough starting at the academy again, especially after everything with her mother, everything at home, but she had managed. Everything had been fine. Or that was at least till that one night. Friday night few days ago, she had been invited to this party in Grounds of Lily, and gotten in, it wasn't that. But it was when the security had read her mind and found out. The angel had grabbed her, because if anything a created angel wasn't to just let a fallen angel go. But despite the imagine he had seen in her head on how it all had gone down, it didn't change his next choice of action. As a matter of fact, he had placed her in magical cuffs, blocking all power she had, making her defenseless in the matter of even her trying to kick and scream to get someone's attention. But who would ever think a fallen angel needed help? It hadn't mattered when she screamed as he cut off her wings, yeah sure, another set of angels came close. She was sure she had seen one of them before working with her father, but he didn't move as much as a muscle. The same look her father had given her after she had returned home fallen. Seraphina must have passed out by the pain, because the next thing she knew was the cold hugging her body. And she was in a cell with these other women, starring at the young girl. She felt the tightness around her throat, as the metal collar was locked around it, letting her hands find it almost as if she thought for a moment or just hoped, that she could get it off. She had sat up feeling how the pain spread out her entire body from back. How long had she been out? She didn't speak the first few hours, just looking down on the ground trying to figure out what was going on. She tried not to cry, even through the tears burnt in her eyes. Finally, an officer called her name saying she had the right to one call today. The angel pulled her out, pressing her back against the wall enough to make her scream and get told to shut it, if she didn't want to lose the call. Seraphina was guided towards the phone area. "You get 10 minutes," she was told. Seraphina went over and picked up and typed Kemuel's number. Feeling the tears finally stream down her face She closed her eyes letting the tears out, waiting, hoping he would pick up. Finally, she heard the sound of someone answering the phone. "Kem," she cried out, wished she could have said his name more calm than the panic that screamed over the tip of her tongue. "I- I," she had no words. It was the worst time to have no words. The fear made her heart beat faster and louder than anything she had experienced yet, feeling how everyone watched her with eyes like daggers. |

| Something was wrong, he knew it, but couldn’t really place why he knew that something was wrong. Last night he had woken up bathed in sweat. His back had been hurting like crazy and sore from the pain he had shuffled to the bathroom and found the painkillers in the cabinet. A pureblood angel taking pain medication. What would the next thing be?
When he had woken up in the morning, it had been a dull pounding feeling by his wings. Something in his stomach has turned because instead of going downstairs to get a cup of coffee and something to eat, he had walked towards Seraphina’s room. Knocked on it twice, and then small break and then three times. No one had answered. A sharp breath was pulled through his teeth as he opened the door only to see that it was empty. Even though she had gone to a party the day before, and there could be a possibility that she was with Ryan. But every fibre of his body told him that she was in trouble. Kemuel walked back into his room, found his phone, and quickly found her number and called. Voicemail. He hung up and called again. Voicemail. A curse left his lips as he tried to call for a third, fourth, fifth time. Voicemail every time. At this point, he panicked. He called everyone; he got a hold of Rose first asking if she knew where Ryan were at home. Fuck.
He then texted Zadkiel hoping she might be there sleeping in the guestroom. He had checked her Instagram no stories, nothing. She hadn’t been online since last night. Talia was calling their father, not that Kemuel liked that, but she had reasoned with him and said that maybe he had done the same to Seraphina as he had done to him. Everyone that could be called, was called and contacted to ask if they knew where she was. At least Talia had taken him seriously as he had told her that something was wrong, and not just dismissed it as she had a rough night and would be home later.
Around two thirty his phone rang. He picked it up. An inmate from Ground of Lily Prison is attempting to contact you. Press 1 to take the call. Press 2 to decline. At first he was confused but quickly pressed one to take the call. What the hell was – Kem? “Seraphina!” he exclaimed running towards Talia “What the hell, why are you in prison!?” he demanded to know, his voice clearly filled with panic Talia widening her eyes as she head what Kemuel had just said. “No, No don’t say that, okay? We’ll, we’ll call” Talia took the phone and put a hand on the panicking Kemuel “Okay Seraphina, listen, I'll get a hold Zitora and we will get you out of there, don’t worry we are on our way”
After that everything was set in motion, Zitora was called as they drove towards the prison. At this point, Kemuel was out of his mind by worry as he breathed in and prayed to his mother. He didn’t even know what she could do at this point, but he needed her to be here. |

| Hearing his voice far from stopped the tears from falling down her cheeks, even as it mostly sounded like a light sobbing. People here starred at her. Most of them demons and fallen angels, mostly at least. She didn't know any of their faces, but she knew it couldn't be a good place for her. If anything she knew her so called father at least had a hand in putting a handful of these people away. Seraphina couldn't find her words, why was she here - she didn't even know. Or well she didn't even remember how she got there. Seraphina closed her eyes for a moment and took a deeper breath in, the collar made sure her powers didn't explode or hurt anyone, but the energy just tensing up in her and the pain from her back was unlike anything she had ever felt. "Please hurry," she breathed out so lowly it came out as a whisper.
Zitora had gotten the call, and barely had time to explain to Frederik where she was going. She had to go, and found the closest portal to Grounds of Lily, to park at the prison and walked in. It didn't take the hybrid more than few minutes to get a meeting with Seraphina. And how it broke her heart seeing the face of the young girl, looking so out of it. But it was as rather quickly Zitora realized Seraphina was in pain, and how the fabric soaked with fresh blood on the back. What the fuck had happened last night? "I will get you out of here okay?" Seraphina nodded a bit, then handing the officer in the room some papers. "Can you see what is wrong with these?" She asked raising her brow a little, the officer looked through them. "And get that collar of my client, now," she didn't waste a second. Getting a connection with the officer as he handed her the papers back, she got a awful look into his mind. From last night. With a careful eye she watched how the officer walked over to Seraphina to unlock the collar. Watching how Seraphina crumbled by the angel came closer, but didn't move. Holding her breath till he had at least stepped back in to the wall. Then, it was time for nephilim to get to work, starting with how out of protocol everything had went down, to the actions and how she was going to make sure him and his guys would end up here. Followed by having Seraphina walk out with her. Knowing they had to check up on the wounds, she still wasn't sure how bad it was - if it was just a bruise, cut or something worse than that. But Zitora was for sure going to report that.
The nephilim knew they might not be able to have a trail, but they couldn't keep Seraphina in there till further notice - she made sure of that, and she would make sure that the young angel didn't have to spend another minute here. Zitora filed the last documents and then got Seraphina with her to the hall where she knew at least Talia and Kemuel were waiting out of their mind.
The fallen angel's steps were heavy, but this place had the way of making you feel like a criminal in less than seconds. And even though it was true, she was a murderer, a part of her knew she deserved to be behind bars. But having her wings ripped out her back - she knew she hadn't deserved that, even if the angels voices of that matter still rang like heavy echoes in her ears. Every single step made her feel like she was drowning, moving deeper out to the deep blue sea. Powerless, defeated and broken she made it out to the hall looking around. Her eyes searching for security, safety. And there her eyes caught her twin brother, making her breath out as her tears couldn't be kept in much longer and she just walked towards him. Not thinking about how much pain she was in, how much her back burned, she didn't care because all she wanted was to feel safe. Comfort. So she closed her arms around him, biting the pain in her just for one more moment. Feeling how the tears just let go in steams. |

| “Kemuel, please sit down” “No” “Please, just, sit down” Kemuel sat down, not that he was happy about it. And it only lasted for five seconds before he was up standing again. Walking back and forth in front of his aunt that gave up and leaned back. Her eyes didn’t leave the hallway where Zitora hopefully would bring Seraphina down any second now. Kemuel turned around the second he felt his sister’s aura come closer. He just stood there looked at what was the holster of his sister. It was like someone pressed their hand through his chest and ripped out his heart. It took all his will not to break down crying. It was so unfair, why was all of this happening to his family? Talia got up and breathed heavily in, not daring to do anything as she just watched how Seraphina slowly walked towards Kemuel. Everyone could see how much pain the poor girl was in as her arms found their way around Kemuel’s thin waist. At first he didn’t do anything, it took awhile for him to understand that it was actually her as his hand found the back of her head and pulled her closer. He didn’t even dare touching her back, he could feel the pain radiating from her. His tearful eyes looked up at Zitora not understanding what had happened.
The door blast open, his body jolted as he turned around with Seraphina in his arms watching their mother standing there. He had never seen his mother angry, and how she stood there with her golden wings spreading so she couldn’t walk through the doble doors. The aura was so powerful, and for the first time he didn’t doubt that their mother wasn’t a powerful archangel. “Where is he!? Where is that bastard that did this to my daughter!” her voice blasted like a powerful force through the building. Letting anyone know that this wasn’t someone to trifle with. Her eyes looked towards her two youngest children; the angry façade crumbled in second as she ran towards Seraphina. Knowing that her presence might be to much for the fallen angel, she didn’t hesitate to pull her into her arms and let her powers glide over her child, healing her for all the damage and hurt that she had been going through. “I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry I wasn’t there to protect you” she whispered looking at her son that stood there not knowing what to do, until Eden opened her arm and pulled him into her hug as well. |

| It was like a nightmare that she wanted to stop. She wanted to wake up and for all of this to be over. She just needed it to be over. The tears didn't stop falling down her cheeks and even if she wanted to she couldn't hold back the sobs. Seraphina felt secure in her brother's embrace, she always did. Then at least she knew she was home. Zitora just wished it hadn't come to this, Kemuel's tearful eyes cut through her heart and made her take a deeper breaths in. She had no explanation to why this was happening or why the world was so unfair. Seraphina almost jumped as the doors busted open, the aura could not be confused with anything else. Her mother had entered the building, and she was a force to be reckoned with. Zitora took a sharper breath in looking at the upset mother who had every right to be angry at the system that had done this, or to be more specific, the angels who had done this.
Seraphina almost choked in another sob trying to catch her breath, as she looked over at her mother, but her arms so weak, her body even weaker, she didn't move them from Kemuel. Feeling this powerless was like a strike of pain rushed through her body from memories from somewhere she had long forgotten, feeling so scared and unable to do anything. All she wanted to do was find a way out of this consuming agony that spread through her. Her mother rushed towards her, she could feel the strong power burn her, but it was nothing compared to the hurt she was already going through, she barely noticed it. What she did notice was the huge rock of pain being lifted from her chest, making her able to breath. She felt unsteady without Kemuel to hold on to, and despite her wounds being healed the phantom pain wasn't letting her back stop aching much. "It's not your fault," she sobbed a little catching her breath as she watched her mother hug Kemuel. Seraphina lifted her hands up with slightly shaking hands, as she took a deeper breath in. She still felt undefeated, like a piece of her was missing. She had lost her wings. She was never going to be able to fly over the ocean again or to the mountain tops as she loved so much. She took a deeper breath in again before walking over to Kemuel again, wrapping her arms around him from the side and placed her head against him.
Zitora took a deeper breath in walking over next to Eden turning towards her. "I'm going to get to the bottom of this, okay? I won't let them take her in again, or let them get away with what they have done," she spoke with a lower voice keeping her main attention on Eden. Zitora knew she could talk to Ethan about the case, getting the information about the officers she needed, that didn't blow the fact that she could find them by searching Seraphina's mind. Because she had already seen one of them face to face, but there was only so much she could do here without getting herself in trouble by being at the station. However, out in the parking lot walking up towards the station two of the created angels from last night stepped into the hall. How did she know? It was the way Seraphina's mind screamed through to her. The fallen angel pulled Kemuel closer in pure instinct of fear, not moving her eyes from the officers. The officers stood there with their coffees and a bag of scones, as they turned around to see the group. |

| It’s not your fault. But it was. As a mother it was her duty to look out for her children. Even though her job title was different now, and even as things had changed because of her death. Her most important thing, was being there when her children needing her. So, this, this was in a major conflict of her whole being. Because how could she find forgiveness for these people that had done this her child? How was she to look in her eyes, and tell her to forgive herself, and forgive those that had taken such an important thing from her? She had been looking for a remedy to help her. Believing that her powers might be able to help Seraphina not feel so lost, not as fallen as she felt now. But given her wings where gone? She would never be powerful enough to reverse that, only God. But as he had made it so that Seraphina had fallen because of not being able to control her powers and in that instance had killed a man. Then who was she to question her father’s decisions?
Ending up hugging both her children into her chest, she let herself be consumed with the feeling of being this close to them. Tried to push away the doubting thoughts, as she much rather just be there with them. Figuring out what to do from here, get home, breathe.
Zitora spoke and Eden looked up from her children giving her a sad smile. “Thank you” she breathed nodding, placing her hands on each of the kids’ heads. But before much else could be done, two officers stepped into the prison. Eden turned around, and her loving face fell to the ground as anger replaced it instead. She let go, and Kemuel took over to pull Seraphina close to his chest protecting her as best he could. The expression he saw on his mother’s face. It was something he had never seen before. And he suddenly understood what it had been all those times she had argued with him. That even though she had yelled and explained what he had done was wrong. She had always looked at him with love in her eyes. Because love was no where to be seen.
“You” she hissed in a dangerous low voice, her Hebrew accent being much thicker than normal. “You did this to my daughter!?” her voice rung against the room’s walls, as if she was talking through a projector. The men stepped back clearly taken aback by the authority she possessed. “She is fallen, so she killed someone, that should be punished!” the man defended himself. Slowly, she walked closer, and the man took steps backwards. Eden never did anything else that could indicate that she threatened him. Her whole demeanor was more than enough to let him now that she wasn’t please. “But that gives you no right to take her wings, to bring so much pain, there is a process we follow for a reason! No case is the same, and even fallen angels are gods’ children, is your defense so, that an eighteen-year-old girl needs to go through this, sorely on you knowing that she had killed someone?” she hissed looking down at him, as she was a few centimeters taller. “I’ll strip you for you rank, and you will be trialed in heavens for your actions today” the mans eyes became bigger “You can’t be serious” – “Now!” she shouted in his head, and with his partner they both disappeared in a flash. Eden breathed out and looked towards the others “lets get home” she whispered, looking towards Talia that quickly nodded and found her car keys, walking towards the car. Eden following behind Seraphina and Kemuel. No way that she was leaving Seraphina before she was sure she was somewhat okay. And home safe. |

| She felt like she could crumble at anytime, that the heaviness of the event was enough to tear her apart. It wasn't the way her mother's aura filled up the room mixed with rage towards the man that made Seraphina scared, because she knew her mother would never do anything to hurt her. But the memories of last night were starting to come back in small flashes, making her feel like her chest were on fire. She didn't even notice what went on around them, didn't even hear what her mother said to the guy, the words where so low compared to the sound of her own heartbeat ringing in her ears. Seraphina gasped a little bit by how the guys suddenly disappeared, folding her lips a little bit together, still not letting completely go of Kemuel. Lets get home, yeah, home. She wanted to get home. At least her tears had dried out, but her eyes were still clearly haunted. Zitora stayed back, wanting to make sure she things were settled here before going anywhere.
Getting in the car, she sat in on the backseat but didn't let her back touch the backseat, she just turned her front a little bit to the side so her shoulder leaned against the seat instead. "I'm sorry I scared you," she whispered to Kemuel, trying to pull a small smile on her lips, but she was tired, stressed and traumatized. She held her hand out to grab Kemuel's while leaning her head against the seat. Seraphina wished she could just fall asleep, but she was afraid if she woke up, then she would be back in the cell with all these people starring at her. |

| It was like every shoulder fell as they placed themselves in the car. Talia was usually quiet as she drove off to the Nelson residence, for a moment she thought about asking if they should call the other kids. They had the right to know, and besides Seraphina might make use of their presence. Or maybe, she looked towards how Kemuel and Seraphina huddled up, maybe they should call Diego? He wasn’t an angel, it wouldn’t be as uncomfortable to be close to him, as it would be to another angel. There were a lot of opportunities. But right now, it seemed like all the girl needed was her twin brother.
Kemuel pulled her closer as she leaned against the seat, moving his arm around her shoulders. “Please don’t be sorry” he whispered, the last thing he needed from her was guilt. Even though he knew it would be difficult to make her see that this wasn’t something she should feel guilty about. “I’m just glad you’re out and we can bring you home” he took in a deep breath looking towards their mother and aunt sitting in the front seats of the car. “What’s going to happen to them?” Eden licked her lips as she turned her eyes towards her kids “Well, I’m not really allowed to discuss heavenly operations” she gave them a soft smile “but I will be pushing it forward with stripping them of their ranks, and there will be a hearing” she turned her eyes back to the road. It was still overwhelming for her all of this, being back from the dead. |

| "Okay, I won't," she whispered back giving him a soft smile. Even if she was sorry for causing trouble, she wasn't sorry that she had called him. In a world where she only had one call and could only count on one person, she would always pick Kemuel to be her person, because he was. "Same," she swallowed a small sob trying to reach the surface, lifting a hand to her neck that was still sore from the collar that had been keeping her power obey over night. Seraphina didn't care what happened to the angels, she just didn't want to see them again, if they could just exit her life - then she could be just fine. Seraphina took a deeper breath in and closed her eyes for a moment, even the smallest turns on the road made her a bit nauseous and she just longed to reach home, get back inside where it was safe and sound. Seraphina tried not to think about what had happened at the party, but how her body ached it was hard not to let the memories flash for her eyes, reminding her of the moment where she had felt the most helpless and alone in her entire life. She dried her eyes a little bit taking a deeper breath in. "H- how long till we get there?" She asked grabbing the sleeves of her blouse with her hands, feeling like she was drowning just holding onto Kemuel as her life line right now. |

| The rest of the drive was quiet, only sound was the motor and how the car sounded on the road towards their home. Eden was sitting looking out the window, thinking about how all had fell apart since Christmas. When Cael had told her that he once again would take a case that had almost destroyed him and the family the last time he had gone after the same person. Not heading her prayers, he had done as he had always done. Put himself and his career first. She was a little surprised as she suddenly felt someone take her hand. Looking over she saw how Talia had placed her own hand on Eden’s, pulling it towards her giving it a squeeze. Her other hand quickly found her mouth, covering it as tears started to glide down her cheeks. What mother wouldn’t be upset when seeing her children go through so much hardship? None of this was fair, and this, might be one of the first times she had ever really questioned gods’ intentions. Why were they to go through all of this?
Kemuel noticed the tears gliding down her mother’s cheeks and had to look out the window while pulling his sister a little closer to him. Not knowing what else he could do. “We’ll be there soon” Talia explained with a soft voice, letting Eden’s hand go again placing both her hands on the steering wheel “is there anyone we can call for you?” she asked Seraphina “Maybe Zadkiel, and Diego?” |

| Seraphina breathed a little out as Kemuel pulled her a little closer, she just wanted to get out of the car, this small space. She folded her lips together, by the question of if there was anything they could call for her. Seraphina breathed carefully out and thought about the question for a second, she didn't wish to be too much trouble, even if she also knew it was foolish to feel like that. "Ryan," she finally exhaled and nodded a bit. Ryan had been the one who had made her able to deal with her mother's death, making sure she had gotten out her bedroom after having been locking herself in there. Cecilia was a possibility as well, but right now she just wanted to be around her siblings and Ryan. She wasn't sure if Tien could handle seeing her like this however, or at least be able to deal with it. It was a lot. Seraphina took a deeper breath in wanting to be okay, she just wanted things to go back to what it had been back in the beginning of January. Change the fact that she had been stubborn and wanted to go home, just avoid losing control - it had done wrong from there, and she wouldn't have lost her wings if she hadn't lost her wings. "And Zadkiel," she whispered a little after having been lost in her train of thoughts. |

| “Of course darling, I’ll get Ryan when we get back” Talia said with a smile and breathed out, even though they had tried to be discreet with meeting up because of how Ryan’s family felt about him seeing Seraphina. It hadn’t gone past Talia that they still met up, and she had a hard time believing that it had gone past the werewolf family, as it would be very easy to smell on the young boy who he had stayed with. Another whisper came and a soft breath left Talia “And I’ll call Zadkiel too” she whispered.
The rest of the drive went fairly quiet, no one really knew what to say or do in this situation. Of course, there should be consequences of killing someone. And maybe it hadn’t been the best thing to just put a lid on it and hoping no one would put the two things together. But, after all it had been an accident. Not that it looked like it right now, how they had concealed it and just tried to move on. Eden looked out the window while her mind raced to finding a solution that would work for all of them. But before she found anything, they were home. Eden looked at the beautifully trimmed bushes, Talia really had done a beautiful job with taking over the house. She stepped out of the car and waited for Kemuel to help Seraphina inside. Talia was already calling Zadkiel while she walked towards the Walkers house waiting for Zadkiel to pick up before she walked up the front door to knock on it, feeling it was better to do it this way instead. Then she could get ahold of everybody as quick as possible. |

| Almost as it knocked on the door, the door opened. Ryan had been walking back and forth with his phone, not really knowing if it was his phone that didn’t work or if something was wrong. He had been walking past the Nelsons house to see if he could smell or feel Seraphina somewhere, but no matter what, he hadn’t been able to track her. He had even been walking past Diego and asking him if he had seen her, but he hadn’t. He couldn’t even get through to her on the phone, so Ryan had concluded that Seraphina either didn’t have her phone on her, which was unlikely, or that it was dead. So seeing Talia made his heart pump and he quickly closed the door behind him. “Where is she?” he asked with a slightly wondering voice before he looked towards the car that had parked nearby. He could smell her from the dried blood that had been on her. “What has happened?” he wondered and looked back at the aunt. He walked past her and started to approach the Nelson house. He had to see her, because something was definitely wrong.
Zadkiel had received a text message in the morning from Kemuel asking if Seraphina was at his place, but sadly, she wasn’t. So Zadkiel had started his own little investigation and tried to search the social media and her friends’ to try and find traces of her. He had even gone to the woods close to the academy just to see if he could find her there, but it hadn’t been a success. It was difficult, because he also had to take care of his work, so while he was ordering new recruits around, he got alerted that someone was trying to contact him. Zadkiel knew it had to be family business and therefore gave the commanding position to someone else so he could excuse himself and reply to the phone. “Hey Talia,” he panted after running to his tent, “Any news?” he wondered, hoping that something could give the poor man a break. |

| The car parked and she turned her head around seeing the house, she should never have left for that party last night. Seraphina took a deeper breath in, her eyes scanning the neighbor house for a moment, hoping to see Ryan, but no one left the house. She just watched her aunt getting out the car to walk towards the house next door, and she took a deeper breath in before getting out the car. Her entire body still felt fatigued from everything. Her arm snaked around Kemuel's again, afraid of falling despite not feeling like her legs were weak, she just needed something stable to hold onto. She was so sure that she heard Ryan call her name, so she turned her head around seeing him rush towards the front door she and Kemuel almost had entered. Seraphina breathed out, yet still a bit hesitant about going to him. So, she just stayed, taking a sharper breath in. Her lips split a little, but no words left her mouth, she didn't know where to start forming a sentence without her not beginning to cry all over again. Seraphina could feel how her heart started to speed up, but she had no power to really move anywhere, say or do much more than standing on her feet as she did in this moment holding on to Kemuel. |

| Talia started to tap her foot waiting for Zadkiel to pick, ready to just give a voice message as the phone finally picked up letting her now that there was a connection. “Hey Zadkiel” she breathed out, looking towards the Walker house. “We found her, and, and it would be best if you came home so we can tell you, but I’m not going to lie, the situations is bad” she breathed, knowing it would be hard for him to not know every detail but right now, it would be much better for him to just see his sister. “She is okay under the circumstances, and are back home, your mother is here as well” she kept explaining keeping her eyes towards the other conversation that she was going to have in just a moment. “Just get here when you can, but don’t dwell on it to long” she then ended the call and walked towards the house and knocked on the door. Ryan was luckily the one to open the door and the angel could breathe out. “I think it’s best if you just follow me” she told walking back to the house before the werewolf quickly passed her. A small sigh left her, as she wanted to tell him that he needed to take a step back and take a deep breath, because it would be overwhelming for Seraphina if he just barged in, demanding answers she might not be ready to give at this point.
As he started rushing, she rolled her eyes and walked after him, trying to calm him down not that it helped when he called for her, and made both her and Kemuel stop in the entry looking at the werewolf coming towards them. Kemuel let his eye take in Seraphina’s boyfriend and looked down at his twin as his arm pulled her a little closer. It wasn’t that she didn’t think she thought it was a mistake asking for Ryan. But he wasn’t blind to the fact that it was overwhelming for her. “I'm here” Kemuel whispered towards his sister, placing a hand against the back of her head. Eden that had been the first to walk in, calling for Tien, but when she felt the new aura she came towards the door, she stepped towards her children giving Ryan a small but calming smile. “I understand that you are upset and want to be there for Seraphina, but maybe, just give her a little space, but please come in” she said, nodding towards Kemuel that lessen the grip on his sister, making her able to walk towards Ryan if she wanted to. When everyone was inside, she closed the door looking towards Talia “I’ll put over a pot of tea” before she retreated to the kitchen and started moving around. “Seraphina?” Eden asked, walking towards her daughter “What about a hot bath first? Then we can just take it in the pace you want” she said with a soft smile. |

| They had found Seraphina. So far so good. The situations is bad. Shit. Not good. Something in him roamed and told him she’s not breathing or she’s dead but Talia wouldn’t keep something like that from him, would she? Of course, last time one of his family members died he received the information by phone and that didn’t go very well. He looked towards Letha and caressed her cheek sending her a sad smile before he went to grab his car keys. She was okay and back home. He could rest a little better. Eden was home. It assured him that everyone was safe for now. He mouthed to Letha that he would text her back before he exited to head to his car. “I’m on it,” he mumbled back to Talia. His family was one of the things he didn’t dare to dwell on for too long. He simply wanted to know how everyone was feeling and what had been going on. They hung up and he started his drive.
Ryan could hear how the aunt sighed, but he didn’t care. What mattered was whether or not Seraphina felt safe and in good hands. One thing was that her family was present with her, another was if she felt like it was enough. He knew how things had been overwhelming for her and how she had felt alone, and he wasn’t going to pressure her. He knew what she was capable of and respected if she need space rather than comfort, even though she had a tendency of pushing comfort away because she felt like she didn’t deserve it. Back when they figured out it was her who had killed his brother, Ryan had been in need of pressing comfort on her, for her to know that he wasn’t going to give up on her and that he still cared for her and knew that it was an accident. “Sera!” he called as soon as he saw her walking besides her brother. He noticed how she turned to look at him. He could smell her blood and knew that something was completely off. He reached up to them. Worry was painted all over his face and a sad smile was formed on his lips. No words were needed to be spoken because he could almost smell that the blood was coming from behind her and he could almost guess that it was the worst thing that could happen on the back of a fallen angel. Her heartbeat speed up and he wished to tell her she didn’t have to explain anything. He had just been worried. He opened his mouth to tell her that he would be there for her and they would sort everything out, but he was interrupted by Eden. Her aura was so strong and he understood why Seraphina felt that it was overwhelming. His lips stammered a little, “O-of course,” he spoke softly. Ryan didn’t move from his spot, because he didn’t feel like it was appropriate of entering first. He waited to see what Seraphina wished for.
If they got inside and her mother got to offer a bath Ryan would suggest to help her if she needed it.
Upstairs Tien blinked her tears back so they wouldn’t spill from her eyes. She took a deeper breath in before she would approach the stairs and try to figure out how everyone seemed to feel like downstairs. She didn’t want to walk into a chaos.

| Seraphina breathed out to Kemuel's whisper of him being there, she wanted to reply that she knew, but no words escaped her lips. Then walking inside with Kemuel, having an arm grab around him, clinging so tight to the fabric of his shirt that she was afraid for a moment that her nails would cut through the fabric, which was enough to let it go just around the same time Kemuel loosened his grip of her a little. Seraphina didn't carry enough strength to figure out what she wanted, and moving felt like so much. Seraphina blinked a little to the sound of her mother calling her name, and moved her head slightly to the side. Getting some clothing on that didn't remind her of last night, despite the jacket she had borrowed from Zitora that covered the dried in blood on her skin. So, getting washed up didn't seem to be the worst thing.
Laila who only had been back home a few days had heard the sound of their mother calling for Tien, she didn't blame her for not calling her. Because she most likely had no idea Laila was home again. And to be fair, Laila had just gotten home a few hours ago after having visited Aleks. Laila put down the book she was currently reading and frowned a bit, something was off, it was like a stab in the gut, so she got up from the bed and approached the stairs. She saw Tien move slowly towards the stairs, and held her breath for a moment giving her a softer smile before heading down. Laila had only been home for four days, she didn't expect the family to be used to having her around again - but she was there. Therefor, she also didn't mind going down the stairs first, letting Tien trade the waters and not being the first to face whatever had happened.
The horror unfolded her seeing Seraphina's face. The remains of mascara under her eyes, how puzzled she looked. Laila pressed her brows a little bit together, before exhaling and scanned the room. She wasn't going to ask what had happened, that question would be answered on it's own. Laila had heard their mother offering Seraphina a bath while Laila had been heading down the stairs. She also had heard Ryan offering to help her. Seraphina looked at Laila shortly like she had seen a ghost, mostly because yes, she wasn't used to Laila being home. But it didn't mean she didn't appreciate that her sister was home any less. Laila walked closer towards Kemuel and Seraphina, placing her hand on Kemuel's shoulder not to overstep with Seraphina. "Would you like some help?" Laila tenderly asked her youngest sister and gained eye contact. Seraphina nodded a bit. "Just you and mum," she breathed out. Despite their mother's strong aura, Seraphina really just wanted her mother, and Laila's calming aura had always been something that Seraphina had found comfort in. And she wasn't sure that she was ready to let Ryan see her back, not till she at least knew herself how it looked. "Okay, then how about Kem and I help you upstairs with mum, and Kem can to find some new clothe - and then when you are ready we can all get a nice up of tea?" Laila suggested with a warmer smile and held her hand out for Seraphina to take when she was ready. "Maybe Ryan can help Talia with the tea till Zadkiel comes?" She suggested Ryan with a warm smile, letting him know she was thankful that he was here for her sister. Seraphina took a deeper breath in before finally taking Laila's hand to show she was ready for them to help her upstairs. |

| Eden gave her daughters a soft smile and then walked over to help Seraphina upstairs with Laila and Kemuel. It didn’t take long before Eden was already filling up the top for her youngest daughter, already dreading what would be shown when they got her clothes off. Kemuel stayed in the bedroom finding some comfortable clothes for his twin, putting it on her bed and walked downstairs again. To be fair, he didn’t really know what to say anymore as everything just seemed to kick in. Knowing what Seraphina and gone through, feeling the pain as if it was his own. He had to stop just before taking the last steps down. His hand placed against the wall feeling how sweat pulled beneath it. He could allow himself to panic and feel overwhelmed when everything had calmed down again. Not that he was sure it ever would with this family, something that scared him. Because if it wasn’t Seraphina, it was Tien, and if it wasn’t Tien, it was Zadkiel. And now, it was even Laila, that had just not decided to come home when she had been in problem. Now where that that put him? He never really felt like he had been able to deal with the fact that Cael had kidnapped him. Mostly because he felt like he wasn’t allowed. Just like he hadn’t told anyone about what had happened with Taylor.
Talia was humming as she put over a pot of tea, mostly to calm herself from everything going on. Right now, she would rather send live from Iraq than this happening to her family. But sadly, one couldn’t get what you wanted, or sacrifice yourself to make sure that your loved one were safe. Something that Eden had to feel for herself, the very hard way. Only making her think about her brother and not understand what had been going through his head about all of this. |
