"Well thank you so much," she mumbled slightly annoyed in the phone as she spoke with her brother. Quentin had taken over the missions after their father had been killed in the beginning of the month, and this also called for the reason why she parked her car here in this forgotten city. It was too small to even seem like an issue, not till you at least looked closely. There was a smaller clan of demons roaming here, controlling the city as if they believed they were royalty- and if that was how they wanted it, their reign would soon be over. The bracelet on her left wrist with the blue gemstone pendant glowed a bit as she stepped out the car. The street was almost empty, like stepping into a ghost town. What was with this place? Julianne closed the car door and locked it before taking a few steps down the road. There was so quite that it almost made shivered down her spine. Had Quentin seriously just send her to a bloody ghost town? He should at least had some with her or send Elenora along. Julianne sighed before walking further into town, she had her knives in her belt - other than that, her cross necklace and fists. She entered a smaller bar, the only place in this godforsaken down that seemed to have just a small amount of life.

Julianne walked up to the bar and sat down, ordered a drink, not that she had any intentions on drinking it. Drinking and killing demons were not really the best combination, even if a small amount of booze was wanted. She observed the area, the bracelet already making aware to her that this place was filled with demons, but also humans - scared, innocent humans. The music in here was terrible, and enough to even make her think about just leaving again. If it wasn't for the amount of innocent people, she would have. "Long day?" The bartender asked as he handed her the drink. "You have no idea?" then she felt something odd, it was this strong light aura close by, making her frown a bit. That was not demonic aura, angelic - perhaps she wasn't the only one who had heard aboutt this village and the demon troubles.

It wasn't news for lesser demon clans to take over establishments or even small towns. To the point where many of its inhabitants had decided to move, not feeling safe living there anymore. And given enough time the clan would become a greater problem, more powerful as more demons inevitably would join. It was something he’d seen happen many times. And he couldn't allow that to happen, not when he had a chance to target them while they still were weak. And preferably destroy the clan altogether. Gaia was already under a lot of pressure due to the increasing demonic population, so the sooner he could shut this group down, the better.

The streets were noticeably deserted, yet he felt constantly watched from the windows of the buildings. However, he tried not to look towards them, wanting to appear as if he belonged there. It was hardly the smartest idea to go undercover or straight into enemy territory without taking some precaution, so he had. Earlier that day he’d gotten a fairy to put him under a glamour. Making his appearance change to that of a man with a darker complexion and hair color. His eye shape had changed slightly, and his lips were thinner, but apart from that, his facial structure was much the same. And more importantly, he’d made sure his scent would be that of a demon. He figured it was smartest considering his intentions. And although his aura wasn't completely hidden, he thought that they might as well suspect another angel to be visiting the town. As he reached a crossroad, he turned his head both ways, trying to determine where the building he searched for was. And once he spotted the red-brick house that his target lived in, he approached it. He sensed that there only was one individual inside, so he teleported into her room. At first, intending to get information out of her, but it wasn't easily granted. She injured his underarm with some shadow ability before he got a hold of her. And once he'd retrieved satisfactory information about the clan, he'd killed her with the knife he'd brought along.

He slowly stepped out of the house, as if he'd just visited an old friend. The knife secured in the back of his pants, hidden under his black shirt. But the damage to his arm wasn't healing, and angel blood slowly dripped down his arm. He held a hand above the wound as he walked down the street, thinking it'd surely heal by itself, but when it still didn't, he decided to head inside a bar. He didn't pay any of the guests much attention as his gaze solely looked for the sign to the restroom. Besides, this place was crowded enough to not take too much notice of him, he hoped. He pushed the door open to the restroom, looking at himself in the mirror before his gaze lowered to his arm where black liquid appeared from his wound. So he ran it under the sink to try and rinse it, hoping that it would be enough to let his own healing kick in. Had other demons gotten a scent of him, they might just believe he was a demon who'd fought an angel, with him smelling like a demon with a trace of angel blood on him. At least, that's what he hoped. Not worrying so much about any hunters or angels thinking the same, and hence wanting to target him.

Julianne took a sip of the drink, still looking around for the best target possible. Everyone here was good targets, and Quentin would have loved to deal with this himself. She was still mad that he had sent her to a demon playground without him or Elenora. Julianne just wanted a fucking break from all the trouble, but apparently Quentin thought she was getting soft that this country was making both her and Elenora softer - which Julianne found odd, because nothing about this godforsaken country was soft. Their minds putting things into a different perspective yes, but soft, far from. Her blue eyes caught a handsome taller man pushing through the doors to the restrooms, making her frown a bit as her bracelet went nuts. Seeing the demons didn't react strongly to him, and more cheered him on, she was convinced that the man had to be a demon. Why else would some of these blood demons stand there and cherish him, as if he had just killed of an army of angels or humans? Julianne got up from her seat and looked shortly over her shoulder before she pushed up the doors to the men's restroom as well, fortunately he was the only one there. She closed the door behind her, locking it. "That is a nasty wound," she exclaimed with a quite low slightly sensual voice.

Her mind started to wonder, who had he killed? What had brought him here? To be cherished by all his followers? To get a good name for it? It wasn't like she was unfamiliar with what making a good name for yourself did in a Industry like this. After all, there was a reason why her family was feared and respected, both in the supernatural world as well as the mundane one - depending on which name she used. "You have quite the fan show out there," she chuckled a bit. Julianne knew she quickly could come off as some girl obsessed with the dangerous, mysterious stranger who had just been in a fight, fascinated by demons and their cruelty or maybe even enchanted by them. Not that it was the case, even with that pretty smile blushing up on her lips. "Which had me wonder, what did you do to deserve such fanservice, can't just be all good looks, can it?" Julianne narrowed her eyes a little bit as she tilted her head slightly to the side.

With the water still on his arm from rinsing the wound, it was easy to manipulate, easy to freeze the area of his arm around the wet area, to call the first distraction. Julianne could have provided more damage there if she had wanted, but it wasn't a part of her plan - not that she had any plan other than what her mind started to brew. It took a swift movement of her hand to form the water from the sink letting it grow into a snake of water starting to circle around him. Adding enough pressure to the figure making it hard to just pass through, not to mention it being boiling hot to touch. Just using the snake of water like a guard dog, it was easy to just move it letting the water form around him and let him drown in it. She could just have frown a few first and started to fight him, she did have way better odds than just a normal human - alongside her training, but why give away all your cards?

His hope was quickly shut down as multiple demons indeed noticed him, or rather the angel blood, and started to cheer him on. One of them quickly offered a seat and a drink at his table, but he’d just played along and responded as if he would come around to it later when in reality all he wanted was to get the hell out of the demon-infested bar. He'd smiled the whole time to appear friendly and on their side, but as soon as the door to the restroom closed behind him, that appearance was all gone.

He didn't get much time to himself before someone else entered the men’s restroom. And locked the door. He looked up from the wound to the mirror. Alarmed by the act of someone wanting to keep him locked inside. However, his expression quickly softened as he realized that the person who’d followed him was a female human. He glanced to his wound at her comment, trying to cover it up with his hand. “Yeah,” he chuckled lightly as he turned to face her. It was indeed nasty. Afflicted by a darkness that couldn’t easily be rid of by water. “Just needs a little cleaning is all,” he said, thinking concern was part of her intention coming in here. He locked eyes with her again, not exactly sure what a young human would be doing in a place like this if it wasn’t because of an attraction to its darkness. A smile appeared on his lips at her comment about his so-called fans in the bar. Oh, if only she knew. The following compliment only confirmed his prior appraisal of her, but just as he was about to dismiss her advances, thinking he knew exactly what she wanted from him, he felt how his arm froze around the wound. His face hardened again, and he took a step back from her. He figured she’d decided to attack him based on what everyone thought. That he was a demon who’d murdered an angel. But if that was the case, they should be able to resolve this quickly. “No, this—” He stopped briefly as water flowed from the sink to circle around him. The boiling temperature of it slowly fogging up the mirror. It would work great as a trap for someone who couldn’t counter it, and by the ease of her control, he had no doubts about her having used it against others in the past. “I’m sure this is nothing but a misunderstanding.” He watched the water for a moment before he looked back at her. “I’m not your enemy.” If anything, angels were a human’s greatest ally. However, he also realized that he appeared the opposite and that she might not trust his word alone. But until he got some sort of explanation or hint as to why she’d attacked him, he wasn’t going to prove anything, nor was he going to destroy her trap as long as it stayed harmless. At least, he figured it was best if she didn't view him as more of a threat.
