| Time: around 8pm, 4th of April, 2015 Place: a flat in an apartment complex, located in Southside Weather: mild, taking the season into account. Slightly cloudy but no wind or rain. Outfit: black jeans, a bralette made of lace and a see through silken shirt over top. Stilettos with far too high a heel.
This was the last place she wanted to be. The air was filled with laughter, music and chattering, as she moved across the wooden floor. It was quite new, which gave her the suspicion that sooner rather than later, someone would take a nosedive caused by clumsiness. Her long brown hair had been fixed into an arrangement of soft curls which framed her face rather elegantly. Her makeup, although subtle, gave a good indication of her level of self worth. She needed no lipstick or mascara to prove herself to be something - but it never harmed anyone to look pretty. A small winged eyeliner and a red lipstick, and she was all good. The flat had been newly renovated. Aaron, the owner of the flat and her good friend through some time, had arranged for this little get together as a way celebrating both the finished renovations and Cassandra’s 20th birthday. She wasn’t keen on the attention, and as she had tried to make excuses for why she ‘sadly couldn’t be there for her own party’, Aaron had cut her off and told her that there was no discussion. If she wanted to sleep on his couch, she had to deal with a party. End of story. So, there she was - at a party she didn’t care for, with people she didn’t know. At least there was beer.. with a can of weissbeer, she was standing hushed up into a corner; trying to make sure no one could sneak up on her. It was through events like these that Jonathan, her psychotic vampire-ex, would be able to track her down. She wasn’t going to risk it. Some guy, clearly just an intoxicated human, had thought it appropriate to go celebrate the birthday girl with a rather intrusive way of asking her out. He had a hand placed on the wall next to her head, and his face less than a few inches from hers. He wasn’t totally unfortunate looking, but she wasn’t going to risk anything with a human. They freaked out every time her paternal genes shined through. Still, he didn’t seem to take no for an answer. Clearly drunk, and very loud, he tried to convince her in a Chad-like fashion to at least give him a chance. Cassandra, who wasn’t gifted with a larger portion of patience, ground her teeth slightly, before once more telling him she weren’t interested. Then came the accusations of her being gay. A few curse words and slurs were thrown her way, without the guy even moving his hand. She was cornered, with a drunk oaf blocking her exit from the situation, all while he whined about how unfair it was that all the hot chicks - his phrasing, not hers - were lesbos. It was rather unpleasant, to say the least. Right now, all she needed was for Aaron to get his cute little ass over there and remove the Chad-guy before Cass ended up doing some serious damage to that numbskull human.

| Party. In Southside? Dion was going to check it out. People who threw parties when Dion didn't was somewhat competition. He wasn't scared of people losing interest in him however, if anything was true it was that Dion could own a party by just stepping inside a room. Truth to be told, it had more to do with his given abilities - but it wasn't like him to give them credit. He stepped in looking around. People were clearly already long gone and many seemed to have lost their boundaries - his least favorite type of drunks. Tomorrow they would blame the liquid for their awful personalities, when it truthfully just were because they full of insecurities. Dion liked getting drunk, but he didn't need it to be high on peoples good moods. He left a sigh, but still wanted to get a look around before leaving again. Southside was filled with drunks and addicts also, not his favorite people. He knew few people even would call him an alcoholic and perhaps he was, but at least he never blamed alcohol for his actions. He walked closer in to see one of his what he would call friend, clearly uncomfortable around this one guy. Again, his least favorite kind of drunk people. He seemed to not really get the message Cassandra so politely gave him. Dion took a deeper breath in and walked over there to poke the guy on the shoulder. "Excuse me sir. I don't think you heard what the lady said," he then said quite polite and gave the man a fake smile. For some reason it just seemed like the guy brushed his words off and kept his eyes at Cassandra. "Okay enough of this," he placed his hand on the guy's shoulder, using his ability actively to put the guy in a wished state of pleasure - making his wish granted. " I heard there is free whisky," he whispered to the guy and let him run off. " Seriously Cass, you need to get better taste in men." Dion joked with a little smile. |
