| It was funny how she had been in Gaia for a few weeks now, and even through her and Katerina had a room at the castle, she hadn't stepped inside the walls till now. There was memories here and they were hiding in every corner. It was draining, however, she knew what she needed to just feel a little bit better. Most of the staff was off for the day, and looking out the window the crescent moon lighted up the dark night sky. Norella looked at it and a smile blossomed up on her lips, the sky was beautiful. She placed her bag on one of the kitchen table next to the sink. It was quite here, almost peaceful - way to quite if you asked her. Norella placed her hands on the kitchen table and bounced a little on her toes. The kitchen had changed a lot since 1998, even through she knew that Sebastian was a fan of letting things stay the way they were. She moved around almost looking like she was judging it, but all she really wanted to find was the giant freezer. She soon went to realize that maybe, they didn't own one anymore. Most of the family members were vampires, and maybe they got fresh supplies? Collected in her thoughts she barely noticed someone joining her in the kitchen. It wasn't before turned around she gasped by the shook. " Jesus," she blinked a little and frowned. "I.. uhm," she licked her lips shortly before placing her hands on her hips. " Good evening.. I'm just looking for ice cubes." She mentally punched herself for ice cubes being the first thing coming to her mind. However, ice cubes was still cold and better than nothing. |

| Anthony was up late, but he usually liked going to the kitchen in the late evenings or nights when he had the next day off. He liked tinkering in silence with his cooking, trying to perfect the dishes that were going to be served at the coronation. Things were hectic these days, and cooking was more in the forefront as many guests filled the large castle. Yawning, he stepped in to the kitchen, flipping the switch, only to notice that the light was already on. That was when he heard a gasp, widening his eyes as he saw a beautiful young woman in here as well. Her exclamation made him chuckle a bit, scratching his neck a little nervously. "You can just call me Anthony," he said in an attempt to be funny, but he already knew it had failed. He noticed that she was a bit fidgety, seemingly wanting something. It was almost adorable, how she looked like a child caught in the act of doing something they weren't supposed to. "Ice cubes?" he repeated, blinking a few times as he was a little surprised. Most people snuck down to the kitchen for a warm glass of milk or even tea, but ice cubes? He chuckled a bit. "Uhm, sure ... Come with me," he said, leading the way down a servant's passage way until they reached a small gathering of dry ingredients, even some hams and salamis hanging from the ceiling. Opening a large door to the freezer he looked at her. "It's kinda cold in here, but come along, I can show you were we store them," he said in a friendly voice, gesturing for her to follow. The freezer was kept neat, and the frozen particles in the air seemed to wake him up more. "They should be .... Ah! There they are!" he said, reaching out to grab a small bag of ice cubes, handing them to her. |

| She nodded once to confirm that she was looking for ice cubes. Blindly she followed him, and let the hazel colored eyes take in everything she saw on her way. In case she needed to get back to the freezer, which was very likely, she would have to know the way. "Thank you.. for showing me the way," it wasn't something he had to do, but yet he took the time to do it. Even in these late hours. There was a lot of different smells but nothing she didn't mind. They reached the large door to the freezer, and she felt embarrassed for a few seconds that she hadn't been able to find this place herself. He warned her about the cold, which just made her smile. "I don't mind the cold," she replied and entered along with him. The cold caressed the surface of her skin like a warming welcome. She took a look around and a half smile remained on her lips. Her eyes returned back to Anthony, as he said he had found the ice cubes. The little half smirk grew larger to a more warm one. Norella took them and took a slightly deeper breath in of the cold air. "Thank you.. Anthony, you are a lifesaver," she giggled a little, keeping her eyes locked on his. "Do you mind if I ask what you are doing up in the kitchen so late?" She asked as she made her way out of the freezer again, it was more a question for her curiosity. Norella hadn't spoken to many people in this castle for years. |

| "Lifesaver? Wow, do you think I could add that to my resume?" he chuckled, closing his eyes as he felt stupid. He wasn't some suave guy who had the ladies swooning over him. He was pretty nerdy, at least regarding his hobbies. Stepping out of the freezer he checked to make sure it was securely locked, turning to look at her as she asked why he was down here so late. Chuckling softly, he scratched his arm a little. "The new moon is going to arrive soon, so I know I'll be pretty exhausted for a few days after, so I just want to get my work in and not feel useless," he admitted. Of course he had never been judged for being what he was, but he also knew that werewolves were often looked upon as being rather primitive. "I - uhm - I'm a cook here, I basically make all those fancy dishes not only look good, but taste good as well," he explained, smiling a little to himself. He had always liked cooking, so getting a job here had been a dream come true. Which was also why he worked so hard. He guided them back to the main kitchen, finding his apron as he clearly wanted to do what he had come to do. Frowning a little he looked at her, studying her features. "You're from Illien, right?" he said. Perhaps it was a long shot, but he felt like he should've known who she was. "The accent - I have family in Illien, so I guess I'm more sensitive to listening out for it," he apologized, finding a cutting board and a small selection of knifes. |

| "You could always try," a soft laugh left her lips as she breathed out. She tilted her head a little bit to the left, as she listened to his reply to her question. Norella knew some of species was effected by the new moon, werewolves and witches the most. Both weakened by it. "I'm sure it will be fine if you aren't at the top of the game," she confessed with a comforting smile. Norella had never had to work a day in her life, not other than the times where she took off to explore the world a little. That was the thing she liked most about staying in Gaia after so many years, not many people knew who she was. So she was free to just walk around and talk to old friends. Norella never really flashed her titel around. A soft chuckle left her lips when he said he cooked here, "that's impressive. I haven't stayed here myself for long, but my sister does compliment the food a lot," she replied honest. Norella still couldn't get in her head that Alexander was going to be king of Gaia in just a few weeks. "It's a lot of work, not that I have any doubts that it will be incredible. Alex's parties are always spectacular," she chuckled a little by that adding. She knew his daughter Abigal had done a lot of planning for this, mostly because Katerina and Abigal were so close friends.
His question made her blink for a second, and she frowned for a few seconds. "Busted," she breathed out and leaned against the kitchen table. "You have a good ear," she pointed out as he said it was the accent. Norella found herself standing on the edge of truth and a white lie. On one hand she wanted to just be herself and on the other hand, she liked that she was just herself right now. Not Katerina's younger sister. "What are you gonna make?" She asked and walked over to get a glass. She filled it up with half of the ice cubes and filled it up with water. Norella took a sip and looked at him. |

| "I guess you're right," he said, shrugging a bit because he didn't believe it himself. He wanted this so badly, he worked hard, and it annoyed him that something as simple as the moon decided wether or not he was able to perform properly. And to him he was just happy that neither the full moon nor the new moon would interfere with the coronation date. As she said that the crown prince's parties were spectacular, he chuckled, nodding. "Were you at his birthday last year? I mostly watched from the side lines as I'm technically not invited to those events," he said. He wasn't embarrassed about his work, and he knew he would never be able to go to a party like that and just let loose, especially when it was his employer's party.
"I just think I feel a little nostalgic hearing the accent," he confessed, looking around the kitchen to grab some spices and ingredients. When she asked what he was making, he smiled, because he thought she would recognize the ingredients. "Stroganina - My cousin is being a little homesick lately, so I wanted to cheer her up with a home dish, besides the fish is served frozen, so she'll have it ready for her lunch tomorrow," he explained. He was a fan of most dishes that originated in the East European countries. "I could easily make some for you too, if you're up for a late night snack," he offered, preparing the onion, slicing it in nice thin slices. |

| "No. I actually haven't been in Gaia for quite sometime. But he hosted Abigal's birthday in Italy a few years back, and that was pretty good," she pointed out with a smile. Norella wasn't always up for the social events, and preferred smaller more intimate conversations. In a crowd around many people there was always so much noise and things to pay attention towards. Stroganina sat up on the kitchen table and looked at him. It was one of her favorite dishes since she was a kid. "I would actually love that," she confessed with a bit of a shy smile. "If you don't mind," she quickly added with her lips folded. "I'm sure she will be very thankful that you take your time to do this for her," she said looking at him with a soft expression. Norella had a lot of family, many siblings but she had never had any of them cooking for her. She however, knew what I was like to get homesick. After her father passed away many years ago, she ran away, flew away and lived totally isolated from everyone for years. Her hand moved up to the necklace she was wearing that had a ring with a rubin in it. She closed her hand around it for a few seconds, before freeing it to grab around the glass of water. She felt the cold in her palms and looked down at the ice cubes for a while. She used her powers to made the water even colder, right before the point where it would freeze completely into ice. Her eyes moved back to him cooking, she didn't understand why, but there was a comforting feeling in just sitting there and watch him cook. It was a feeling she liked. She could just have walked out of the kitchen and back to her room, but she felt like sitting here right now was the best choice she had made of this night. |

| Nodding at the mention of the princess' birthday, he smiled a little. He hadn't gone, mostly because he was needed at the castle. Finishing up the onions he placed then aside, moving over o one of the smaller freezers they only kept fish in, taking out one that he knew was well frozen. As she said she would like some, he smiled. "I might not do it justice, just so that you're warned, but it does taste best right after it's made," he said. It wasn't a burden for him to make another dish, mostly because it was such a simple recipe. He started cutting the fish carefully, putting his knife skills to use. What always made him surprised about this dish was how the fish automatically curled up. He noticed her getting silent, but he didn't mind the silence. It was a nice and different pace from what he was used to with the kitchen being full of people. "You didn't tell me your name," he said, smiling at her before he moved the raw fish to the side, finding a couple of plates to arrange the food on. He made sure to wash his hands first before grabbing one for the stranger and one for his cousin. Going straight in to arranging, he made sure that there was enough onion for each piece of fish, finishing it up with a light sprinkle of pepper and salt. One plate he covered up nicely, placing it in the freezer for his cousin before he found some cutlery for the woman. The second plate he placed in front of her, placing the fork and knife next to her. "Dig in, and please be brutally honest," he said, feeling a little nervous to be judged. |

| She chuckled a little to herself, when he mentioned that she hadn't said her name yet. Norella knew she couldn't keep it going, he would figure out who she was in the matter of minutes or days anyways. Especially if he saw her with Katerina. She took a sharper breath in as he arranged the dish. Norella gently watched him as he walked to the freezer with one of the plates, before placing the other in front of her. "I'm always brutally honest," she giggled a little before grabbing the fork and the knife. She looked at the dish and took in the way he had arranged it. "It looks very delicious," she admitted before taking the first bite. Like she had imagined it brought her back to good memories and she closed her eyes to enjoy it. She took another bite followed by another. She chewed off and nodded a bit. "I will be honest with you," she started out and pointed at him with her fork. "It's a solid ten out a ten from here." Norella took a few more bites till she had finished the fish. "The name is Norella by the way," she finally spilled her secret and made a little smile. She had no idea if he would connect the dots, but her name wasn't really over used one. " |

| Anthony chuckled as she promised to be honest, feeling a bit nervous to hear her verdict. If she was a native woman from Illien, then she would be able to tear him to pieces if anything was wrong. However as she kept eating, he couldn't help but smile, leaning back against the counter, folding his arms in front of his chest. This was why he did what he did; To see that expression on someone just because he could give them a good experience. Her verdict was clear, making him laugh softly, bowing for her and thanking her. "Then I guess I did my job honor," he said, smiling at her. He liked how she seemed to react, how she seemed to listen when he spoke, it was very nice and comfortable. Even with the silence, he had felt awfully calm and relaxed. When she said her name, he nodded a bit surprised. "So you're named after the princess I'm guessing?" he chuckled, clearly blind to the fact that she could be the princess. Not that she didn't act or look like one, he actually found her very beautiful, but he guessed the name was popular. "It's a very pretty name, much more original than my own," he said, complimenting her name. |

| She breathed out with a soft chuckle as he thought she was named after, herself, but it meant he didn't connect the dots. It wasn't really often that Norella showed up in media, she liked keeping to herself - not really a trait that was fit for a princess. "Something like that," she replied to his guess and tilted her head a little to the side. "Thanks, it was a name from my mothers side of the family," she told with an almost harmonic voice. Norella breathed the worry away from her shoulders and took a sip of her ice cold water. Norella took it into own hands to pick up a few dirty items so she could help him clean up. "Thank you for the midnight snack, Anthony," she liked saying his name, perhaps it was why she kept saying it. Knowing peoples names was something people often didn't see as something personal, but it was always the first personal thing one gave another. A name kept someone from being strangers. Norella opened the tab to wash a few things and looked over at Anthony shortly. "How long have you been working here?" She then asked, and placed the almost clean object in the dishwasher. Norella noticed she asked him a lot of questions, which was a normality for her - she expected people to tell her off if she asked to much. |

| He laughed a little at her thanking words, shaking his head a little. Had he been suave, he would've asked if she was a midnight snack for him, but that might've sounded weird. They had just met, but he felt rather comfortable around her already. He wasn't really anxious, he was more afraid of people judging him and them disregarding him for who he was. She moved over, washing off some of the items and he grabbed the knife and cutting board, moving over to stand next to her at the big sink. Her question made him hum a little, thinking it through. "Since ... The Summer of 2016," he said, not really recalling his hiring day vividly, but he could remember the heat outside. "I didn't start out as a high ranking cook, of course, but I've slowly made my way up the chain," he said, smiling because he was rather proud of himself. "It's good and honest work, and I have enough money for an apartment in a decent part of town not that far from here," he explained. As they finished washing off, Anthony grabbed a small tea towel, drying off his hands before handing it to her. "I notice you've asked me a lot of questions ... I can't believe I actually seem interesting," he chuckled softly, shaking his head a little as he took off his apron, placing it back on it's rack. "Tell me something about you that no one knows," he said, looking in to her eyes with a curiosity in his own. |

| 2016 was still a long time working in a place like this, it gave one time to learn the surroundings and people. Norella chuckled lightly by his expression of working one up the chain, because she found everything like that. Nothing started off as perfection a skill had to be developed with time and hard fork. It sounded nice, having a place away from the royal madness. Sometimes she found it funny how she was in the middle ground of what she preferred, the life she always had or a more simple one. "It does sound nice," she admitted and grabbed the small towel as he threw it to her. A little smirk lifted on her lips, as he noticed her master degree in asking questions. Caine had always told her it was what she did best, asking questions and get people to spill secrets, even without trying. "It's the small things in life that makes people who they are. I like that, sometimes someones favorite scent can tell more, than an hour with them on the phone," she replied and frowned shortly to herself. It was a thing she had, but never expected anyone to understand why she loved her questions and secrets. "That no one knows?" She crossed her arms a little, leaning her hip towards the kitchen table. "The first thing I do when I'm somewhere unfamiliar is to find a safe spot, where I can go to let my thoughts out," she began to tell and ran a hand through her dark brown hair. "I like the mountains, the taller the better. I like it cold, its clears my mind and I don't know. Makes me feel, free I guess," she breathed out and licked her lips keeping her eyes on his. "Somtimes all you just want to is to be left alone," she took a deeper breath in, "I'm selfish in that way, but It's nice being able to just be," she turned her eyes to the window, looking outside in the dark garden. Norella liked isolating herself in the cold once in a while, maybe to remind herself that she was part of the reason her father had died in the war. It was a guilt never washed away. "Anyway, it means I like cold mountains," she joked and shook her head with a small laugh. Everything about talking to him seemed usual, but in the most calm and comfortable way. It was like a part of her had known him forever, which she found odd, but it was nice for a chance. |

| Listening to her talk about mountains and cold, he could see the spark in her eyes. It was not a lie, that much he could tell. That passion and that true feeling that was behind those things she told him, made him smile. He wasn't even realizing he was staring a bit before he had to look away, but he couldn't take that damn smile off of his face. "Being a werewolf, I don't really get to experience cold the same way others do ... I'm quite warm blooded," he chuckled, looking at her once again, but trying not to stare this time. There was something about her, something that just seemed so familiar, yet so new and exciting. "So ... If someone were to ask you out, it would be perfect just to hang out in a freezer, or?" he asked, feeling a little goofy. Stupid! He was completely stupid! What was he even on about? He was a cook, and she was probably some noble woman, and that didn't really match up in his mind. Shaking his head, trying to clear his thoughts. "I guess I'm rambling, sorry," he chuckled. It was rather late, but he didn't feel like going to bed yet. He thought about something, a small smile reappearing on his lips as he looked at her. "How about we go for a stroll as the fancy people would put it? I could show you my favorite place here?" he suggested. |

| She couldn't imagine not feeling cold. When she wasn't cold she felt uncomfortable, it had been worse when she was a child. It had before she truly understood her own abilities. Norella had always been different, a Thunderbird was usually born with golden feathers, hers were blue like the dark ocean. His next comment made her laugh and she nodded a bit, "you got me there," she pointed out in her sweet laughter. The cyrobird tilted her head a little to the side and folded her lips as she kept gazing into his eyes. "No, It's okay. I like a little rambling," she replied with an assuring smile. Norella lifted a brow by his suggestion and crossed her arm quite loose. "Hmm," she tilted her head to the other side, "I think I would enjoy that. Is there any freezers?" she then asked with a brighter smile, clearly the last thing only said to tease. "I'm curious to see what your favorite places are," she confessed and took a few steps closer him, "let's get going." Norella walked over to where she had put her bag and grabbed it. She was always up for a little moonlight adventure, and having a handsome werewolf as company, only made the night better. Norella was lucky that almost everyone was a sleep or at least not in the hallway. She wasn't sure he would see her as he did right now, if he knew the truth. "Lead the way." |

| Anthony chuckled a bit, but he felt himself taken aback by her melodic laughter. It sounded beautiful, but he couldn't let himself linger on that thought for too long. "No freezers, I'm afraid, but it could be a little chilly," he said, scratching his neck a little as he looked at how she gathered her stuff. Should he offer to take her bag? But before he could really act on any of his thoughts, she stood and was ready to go, making him chuckle a bit before leading the way as she asked for. Leading her down the hall, he looked around, holding a finger up to his lips to make her know to keep quiet. Grabbing her hand to sneak past a guard that patrolled the hallway. He wasn't really supposed to be in this part of the castle, far from it actually, but he wanted to show her anyways. As the guard was gone, he pulled her with her again, further and further up the stairs of the castle. He wondered if she needed time to breath as they were climbing the stairs quite fast. "Just a little further," he promised, smiling at her before he opened a small door that led in to a tower. Opening it, it was a little dusty. He let go of her hand, sending her a challenging gaze before he walked to the window. "I hope you know how to climb," he said before he crawled out the window and up to the roof. |

| It was quite fun. She enjoyed things that gave her chills down her spine of excitement. Norella let him guide her pass the guard, and she tried her best not to laugh at the fun she had. She felt like a kid sneaking around the castle, a feeling she had pushed far back in her mind. As soon as the guard was gone, Anthony pulled her with him again, and she followed blindly. They climbed the castle stairs and she thanked the many years of living near the mountains. She tried her best not to sound out of breath, but as they finally reached the tower, she breathe out. Norella narrowed her eyes a little, mostly trying to figure out what his plan actually was. He opened the window, which made her step a little closer. Norella didn't say much, her eyes spoke for her. She was curious and longed for the unknown.A smile followed by a light snort came from her by his comment as he crawled out the window. Norella lived in the mountains when she could and loved the heights. It would suck to be a giant-bird with a fear of flying.
Norella knew her mother would kill her, if she ruined the dress. However, Norella had a few skills to get on the roof with more ease. Creating a step of ice right outside of the window, she stepped out on it, making another one appear out from the roof. Norella stepped on the ice-steps till she found a place where she could climb on without struggle. She felt the wind in her hair, and the chill touch of the cold on her skin. Norella smiled so brightly as she moved closer to Anthony, almost feeling a little to brave with holding her balance. It was her nature to be up this high, and looking around the dark night. She almost lost her balance and bursted out into laughter. "Okay you win best spot of the town," she confessed and looked around once again. |

| Anthony didn't notice her way of using the ice, instead he offered her a hand to get up on the roof with him. Her admittance made him chuckle, sitting down on the slanted tiles looking out over the city. "People always say that the royal garden is the best place in Gaia, but they haven't seen the view from up here," he said, smiling to himself. Maybe it was a little strange for a werewolf to like heights, however he found that this was the greatest place to clear his mind. "If you have great eyesight, you can see Moonlight Falls from here," he said, pointing in the direction. "Of course it is a bit hard to spot because of the enchantment, but magic has a way of glimmering in the moonlight," he said. Maybe he was giving away some secrets, but he felt like he could just have a real conversation with Norella. She was nice, she listened, and most of all, she seemed genuine in everything she did. Turning his head, he looked at her with a smile. If he had been in a cheesy romcom he would've said she was the greatest view. But he was way too shy for that right now. "So ... Uhm ... What brings you to Gaia?" he asked, smiling a little. It was silly to think that he could even have a chance. The fact he was even thinking about it made him feel naive. |

| She had once flied over the castle with Alexander many years ago, but the city had changed. Clearly Queen Alycia had brought her own kind of magic to the garden. Norella smiled when he mentioned eyesight, because hers had always been great, so it didn't take look till she could spot Moonlight Falls. "Yea, I see it," she confirmed with a brighter smile lighting up on her face. "I'm a Thunderbird.. or a Cyrobird if you wanna be specific, spotting glimmering things is one of my hidden talents," she confessed with a cheesy smile and looked back at him shortly. "It's incredible beautiful," she added almost breathless and looked back at the moonlight. His next question made her look back at him, and she folded her lips shortly before licking them. Norella breathed in before replying, "my sister was invited to the coronation," she scratched her neck a little and grabbed her arm across her body with her left hand. "She asked me to join her, since it is a good change for her to create some alliances. I'm helping her a little, but she has the charm," she chuckled a little and shook her head," so she dosen't really need my help." Norella looked back at the moon, "I don't really have much to do, so a change of scenery seemed like a great idea for me. Guess, I'm lucky to be somewhat duty free." Once again she realized he didn't know who she was. And it was nice being in Gaia like this, walking around almost carefree. "What is your biggest dream?" Norella turned her hazeleyes back at him with wondering almost dreamy look. She wanted to know him, what his dreams were. |

| As she explained why she was there he nodded, looking a little surprised as she said she didn't have any duty. Daughter of someone rich, he guessed, but it didn't make him think lesser of her. Some people saw the rich as lazy, and perhaps there was some truth behind it, but she didn't strike him as someone who was lazy. "Must be nice ... Not really having any obligations," he said, an eyebrow raised as he wasn't sure if she thought the same. Anthony had always been a hard worker, wether it be a student or as a cook here at the castle. He always wanted to improve, become better. So when she asked for what his biggest dream was he felt a little shy once more, laying down on the roof to look up at the stars above them. "I think I want to have a family some day; a wife and kids ... But most people these days are more occupied with traveling or getting a career," he said with a small chuckle. Turning his head he looked at her. "I guess I sound old fashioned, but it's more of a life goal than anything," he explained. "What about you?" |

| "Sometimes. I do have some obligations, people expect things from me. They always have," she admitted and took a sharper breath in. Norella had always been happy that she wasn't meant to be Queen. That kind of responsibility wasn't meant for her. Norella had always taken on more knowledge on her path to finding herself, and even some ways still were unclear - she wasn't lost. Norella followed him down on the roof, but kept on sitting at first. Her eyes gazed at the moon, as she listened to him talk. It was a nice dream. Norella had been married before, but it wasn't for love. "Old fashioned for some. I quite like the idea of a family on my own," she confessed and laying down next to him. "Life is filled with choices and different paths. I once used to think of the future as frighting, especially after my father died," she told and kept looking at the moon before turning her head to the side, "but life is beautiful. Challenging but beautiful, filled with so much to do if you just look for it," Norella smiled at him, looking into his eyes. "What I want?" She moved her eyes back up at the moon. Norella licked her lips softly as she thought about it, "I want to be the best I can be. Be passionate about something, maybe even satisfy me curiosity," she knew it wasn't specific but more abstract. That was how she liked life, filled with endless things to do and goals to achieve. |

| Anthony smiled at her words, nodding in agreement. Life was challenging at time, but he liked that. Laying here under the moon he moved his hand up, pretending to catch it, but of course he couldn't do that, opening his hand once more, just looking at it through his spread fingers. As she started to elaborate on her own dream, he couldn't help but smile. It sounded nice as well, "I think that sounds possible, especially as you seem so free already," he remarked. He could sense it, almost in her scent. There was something about her that made him want to know this wild cryobird. Letting his hand fall down by his side. "Have you found that something to be passionate about then?" he asked rather curious. If it had to keep her satisfied, it could take years to find exactly what she was looking for. He himself enjoyed cooking, but he did want more in life than to just be a cook, even if that was his dream job. "Or is it more a question of someone?" he added, turning to look at her with a smile. He knew a little about heartbreak, but he was far from an expert. The few girlfriends he had had, the relationship had ended mostly because the two didn't want the same in life. |

| It was possible, she knew if she believed it - that it would be. Norella was free, more free than most. Freedom was important to her, and along with some sort of stability, things went perfectly. Or as perfect as it could be. The question was good, and echoed in the back of her mind. It made her reflect and her thoughts exploded even further. "Sadly no, not quite yet. I have a few things I need to let go off first, but I feel like It's going to be epic," she confessed with a little half smirk to herself. Norella had a few things in coming back to Gaia, mostly because of her former relationships here. It was way to many years since she had went back here. Caine had told her not long ago, that he thought of her to hold great power. It made her wonder if he had a secret plan for her, but she knew she would never give in to the power hunger. It was a promise she had made for herself. "Even if its something or someone," she took a little breath in and looked at him with a warm smile, "I believe it will be right. Like a fitting piece of the puzzle that simply always has been missing."

| "But there are so many puzzle pieces out there ... How will you know when it's the one that fits perfectly?" he asked. He wanted to know, no rather, he needed to. She was like a free bird, always in flight and something in him wanted to see where that freedom would take her. Turning over so that he laid on his side facing her he studied how she laid there. She looked at peace, relaxed as if they had known each other forever, but of course he was too blind to see the effect he had on others. "I mean, what if you've already passed up on that real puzzle piece? Or what if it will never appear?" he asked, chuckling a bit as he felt silly. Glancing up at the stars he sighed. "I think that is what is wrong with the lives we lead; We always think there's going to be something better around the corner, when what we really need is right in front of us," he said, closing his eyes as the wind passed them by. Frowning he caught the scent of something, sitting up as he looked in the direction the wind had come from. Looking in to the darkness, he could see anything as clear as day. "Did you smell that?" he mumbled. |

| "I guess that is one of life's great mysteries, what is the point of knowing all the answers?" She asked with a little laugh to herself. There was a sad truth in the covered up laugh, because what if she wasn't meant to be forever with anyone. That she had lost her chance? "Maybe I just need to start looking more at what is in front of me than," she looked over at him with a little smile as he closed his eyes. She frowned when he did, and sat up. Norella looked around trying to see if she could figure out just what it was. "Yeah, what was that?" Mostly a question she asked herself. Something in her knew it was dangerous to come to Gaia in a time like this, a lot of royals where in town. Even her sister's guard had advised them not to go, every royal could be a target. On the top of the list Katerina was a trybrid, and Queen. Norella was the only one of her kind, the only Thunderbird with blue feathers like ice. They were targets, but Norella refused to look at the danger for what it was and it made it even more dangerous. Norella knew a few years back their had been an attack on Abigal and Felicity Mikaelson, a kidnapping that almost had turned rather bloody. "Can you see anything?" She asked in a low voice. Her eyesight was excellent in daylight, but he was a werewolf - his other senses was possible better than hers in this situation. |
