| @Odette <3 He was somewhere underground in his private chambers. His purpose in this world seemed pretty clear by now, ensure the siren’s safety and make sure Samuel Prideux found his service and loyalty where it was safe and untouched. John wasnt sure why he should be following this inked man’s command, but it seemed to be something not even his basic biology could deny. John had been through a lot of things to get here and yet he couldnt recall a single memory of anything. No familiar faces that werent blurred out, glimpses of faint memories that made no sense at all. He was assembling his gun after cleaning it when he felt it. Something unknown in his mind flicked and suddenly he felt his surroundings change yet remained the same. Like seeing through eyes that werent his in a different place than these metal walls. “Whats this?” He asked as he was pulled from the eyes to his own being, standing in front of the eyes that he had been looking through. A female face greeted him in the glow of the saber, a weapon he felt oddly familiar to. His confusion was clear as his eyes moved up from the saber to look into the female’s. |

| outfit + looksThe time had come. She needed to check out the sword. She needed to check out which darkness that was slowly eating her up. How she got the sword in the first place… was still a mystery. All she remembered was that she one day woke up and the sword was next to her. And since then… she hasn’t seen John. He was like disappeared into thin air. She feared the worst had happened to him… especially after he had told her about Rayna… and the umbrella academy. she missed him… she knew that… therefore, with his sword in her hands, she felt that he was a bit closer to her. As the red light shined up her dark bedroom, she looked fascinated at the lasers and tilted her head. This power… she had never felt anything like it… It was… like… a drug running through her blood. when another presence suddenly felt so close to her, she tilted her head a bit more to the side, only to now almost dropping the sword. “J… John?” she asked. Her voice was trembling in confusion, happiness and relieve. “You´re… you´re here…” with a bit shaking legs, she walked closer to him, still with the sword being the only light in the dark room. “How… how… when…” she shifted from looking at him to the sword. “Are you… alright?”

| It was the siren. Not that he knew much about who the siren was, thanks to his memory loss, but he knew he had met her before. As she said his name with such strong emotions in the tone, he had to believe they used to be close. She stepped closer and he frowned a little, deep confusion written all over his face, him being here and yet in his own chambers and her here in... well he couldnt see where she was, only her. Her confused blabber didnt faze him much as his head was trying to find heads or tails in this mess. Her questions made him believe he must have died, which would explain the lack of memories. He looked around, not knowing where he was and why he was feeling this bond to her, “I was gone. But someone brought me back,” he said in a monotone soft tone, turning his chocolate brown eyes back to hers. “I cant place your face in my memory. But that belongs to me,” he said, pointing at the sword in her hand. |

| Confusion was written all over his face. He did not recognize her. Not even a tiny bit. Back in the days, this would have broken her heart, but instead she took a step back and looked just as confused at him, as he did at her. The glimmer of the light from the saber made the whole atmosphere feel so heavy. His soft tone was monotone. She tilted her head and took another step back as he said the sword belonged to him. This made her smirk and click her tongue a little bit. “No. It does not belong to you.” She said and lowered the sword a little. “It belongs to John… and you… you are not the John I know.” Something felt so odd, but at the same time so right at seeing him again. “What… what do you mean that you were gone? but brought back.” the heat from the sword, made her take it a bit further from herself. But something inside her, told her, that if she turned it off… John would disappear. “so much have happened…” she mumbled lowly, looking down at the sword, feeling how its darkness ran through her blood. |

| He had expected her to know that it was his and with his words she would nicely hand it over but it didnt seem to be so. Her words made him frown as he tilted his head a little to the side, “No? It doesnt belong to me?” He repeated in what could have been a mocking tone but it was monotone, almost dull. She went on to explain the owner of the saber and in his confusion he just narrowed his eyes ather, “I am John.” He said more lively than his other words as he straightened his back and looked her straight in the eyes. This encounter felt weird and somehow he wasnt sure how or why he should prove to this girl that he didnt even know that he was who he was. She clearly seemed to recognize him, so what was the hassle? “I work for TriCall now under Samuel Prideux,” he said as he looked at her. Could she be working for Umbrella? No, he could remember a few things from his time at Umbrella or so he thought. “If you struggle against the evil then it’ll punish you. You have to let it roam freely,” he told her, looking at the saber with a frown before looking at her. “Every kill will haunt you, every set of dead eyes will burn in your memory,” he warned her before running a hand through his hair in surprise as the words just seem to fly out of his mouth. His eyes returned to hers. “That sword will ruin your life,” he then said before lifting his hand, “It’s better if you just give it back to me,” he looked at her with serious eyes. |

| Her heart ached as she looked at him. His eyes… it was his. The deep brown eyes she could get lost in for hours. But… something was of. She couldn’t put her words on it. he didn’t recognize her. And yet… he tried to convince her that he was John. The same John she hasn’t seen for months. slowly she started to walk closer to him. He still towered over her. With her Turkish eyes shinning in a serious glim, she stood not far from him now, looking up at him. “Samuel Prideux… who? What happened to Rayna?” she asked. Her tone concerned, but at the same time, monotone. Just like his. “I can control the sword.” A lie. But she wasn’t going to give it up that easily. “After all John taught me… or rather you taught me well…” Taught her how to fight at least… Curiously she looked down at his hand. All of this… seemed so unreal. Was he even there? Was he a phantom of her mind? Did she miss him that much? But… if he was a phantom, then It would make no sense, why she would make up a John that couldn’t remember her. Stubbornly she looked up at him again. Into the brown eyes of his. “Do… Do you know… what happened to you? Why where you gone? Do you remember my name?” all the questions just flew out of her lips. Slowly she could feel the panic run through her. being this close to him made her feel weird. Happy, sad, confused, all together in one horrible cocktail. she took a step back and turned her back to him. She looked down at the saber. Was all this her imagination? Would he disappear if she turned it off? Slowly she lifted it up, closer to her face, as she felt it´s heat lick her face. “I have to let the evil run freely huh?” she repeated his information from earlier.

| He frowned a little as it seemed like every word he spoke only just seemed to spark more questions from this girl that he thought he knew but couldnt recall a single memory of. Narrowing his eyes, he tilted his head a little at her question. "Rayna?" he asked, like the name didnt ring a bell in his head. He scoffed in a dismissive way, looking away as she said she could control the sword. He didnt really believe it, something in his mind was telling him that no one could possibly control all that evil because he barely could. Maybe it was his pride getting ahead of him, but he just refused to believe so. When she just looked at his hand to then look back up at him, he frowned a little again. It seemed that it was the expression he was best at making, showing discontent was so natural to him. "Nothing happened to me," he dismissed her once more as he just stared at her with his dark eyes that almost seemed black in the red glow of the saber. He stood his ground as she stepped away and turned away. Nodding as he walked up next to her, looking down at the saber again, "Yes. That's the only way you wont have your soul torn apart," he warned her, looking at the saber that he dreaded so much. In a way he was happy that he didnt ever have to wield it again and in another he was angry that it meant someone else had to. "I can feel your conflict," he said in a quiter more soft tone, turning his head to look at her eyes. |

| He remembered nothing of Rayna. Nothing of the pain he had gone through. Which probably meant he had also forgotten Aspen. And… her heart ached a little by the thought. Her. He had forgotten all about her. All he remembered was the sword. Maybe it was a good thing. Maybe that meant he could start a new life. Without being in the grasp of someone else and without being glued to the darkness of the sword. All these thoughts were running through her head as she stared at the saber. Its red light so beautiful, yet dangerous at the same time. Nothing had happened to him. He remembered nothing. He was fine. And yet… here she stood with the selfish thoughts of wanting her friend back again. “Then… maybe I should let it happen…” she mumbled. “Let the evil run freely.” In the second he placed himself next to her and looked down at her, she didn’t waste a second, before looking up at him and giving him that stubborn face. “Yes. I´m conflicted. A lot. I know it belongs to you… but… I can´t give it back. You´re free from the darkness now.” She lowered the sword. The darkness ran through her as she said the next word. “It´s mine now. The darkness belongs to me.” Here she took a step forward again and turned her front to him. The pain was clear to see in her eyes, shinning in the dim light from the sword. “Good… goodbye John…” The words made her heart ache. But… he couldn’t remember her anyway. All he wanted was the sword. Slowly she and clearly felt with regret, she turned of the sword. |

| “You should. But even so, that will also tear you apart. Using the sword even holding it close to you. It feeds off of you, giving in just makes it feast slower,” he pointed out just to let her know that she had tp be wary. It wasnt just a toy but something in him didnt think she saw it like that anyway. He could sense the good in her, the good that had once been and now struggled so hard. He thought it was his sword in her hand that allowed him to feel her good and dark side, since it was a part of him in her. But he also felt like there was more part of him, scattered around in hidden places. Feeling her so close with her part of his soul made him feel less like himself, spark questions he hadnt thought he would ever have. Her words were so dark as she claimed the sword and the darkness. It made him look at her with eyes that actually showed some sort of emotion for once, a sadness he seemed to had carried forever. “I can see that,” he said, looking down at the sword in her hand. Maybe there was a chance to save her, a way to keep her soul whole. But before he could choose to act on anything, she was speaking her farewell and the sword was turned off. He felt like he was pulled from a place so far away and thrown into his seat in the underground base. Falling off the chair as he pulled at the table, gun parts flying all over as the table tipped and almost fell over him. He drew in a few deep breaths as his head jerked from side to side to greet the same cold metal walls he had become so used to see. He ran a hand through his hair, staring ahead before sighing deeply. “I need to find that girl.” He mumbled, scrambling to his feet, forgetting all about the gun assembling as he left his chambers. “Mr. Neader,” a man greeted him but the tall brute was not having it, quick to shove him away and into a wall, clearly in less of a mood to spare the scientist the time he was requesting. He went outside to be greeted by the many trees that hid the base. Furrowing his brows, he looked up at the night sky. “I’ll find you,” he aggressively assured the sky like she could hear him. |

| His warning didn’t scare her. For the first time in her life, she wasn’t listening to him. she closed her eyes and turned off the sword. His presence left her, and she had never felt more alone. When she again opened her eyes, he no longer stood there, tall and mysterious as always. With a sigh leaving her lips, she sat down on her bed once again, looking at the sword. Even with the sword turned off, she still felt the connection with him and it terrified her. Quickly, she put the sword on the night table and tried to go back to sleep. I´ll find you. A low little whisper in the dark. Loud enough for her to sit up and look around. For a second there, she thought he was back. Back in her room. Back in the dark. with a low growl, she sat up and got out of the bed, out of her apartment. She was hungry anyway. And for the first time, she felt like hunting. with the sword by her side, she looked around, before looking up into the night sky. “I like to see you try.” She assured the sky back. Something in her, hoped and begged, that he heard that.
Later in an alleyway, deep in the middle of Gaia, Odette had found her little prey. A man who had just tried to rape an innocent little sixteen-year-old girl. She turned on the sword and smirked in its light. “Lunch time.” Her little teasing voice hissed in the dark. before the man could blink, she cut of his arm, watched as the laser caught so easily through flesh and bone. The man screamed in terror and looked at the uncut arm. “Ahhh… relax, you wouldn’t bleed to death at least…” she said and lifted the sword once more to make another strike.

| He wasnt sure where to go. The was an unknown feeling in him but it wasnt something he could pinpoint to a place or location. Just some dumb feeling inside that felt quite unnvering. Standing outside he watched his warm breath mix with the cold air, the silence from being so far from city and civilization so clear in the night. And then he heard it, turning around as it felt like someone right behind him, whispering in his ear. I like to see you try it whistled in a passing wind, smacking John in the face while the leafless branches shook. He clenched his jaw and his fist, feeling the need to let out some steam from his temper that was rising faster than the temperature of a kettle over a warm stove. He returned to the bunker, flipping over the metal table in his anger, kicking it a few times with his frustration. A bulge showing more and more the more he kicked and then he stopped. Exhaling deeply he fell down to sit on the floor, crawling back till he felt the wall against his back. He gasped lightly for air, looking at the table that had once been blank and untouched, not bent and broken. All content that had once stood on it, spread out everywhere. “Fucking hell,” he mumbled as he rubbed his eyes a little. He didnt know why he was so angry about the sword and he hated it. The sword was finally out of his life and yet it felt bittersweet.
He stood with some scientists, discussing a few things about his physique and what could be improved and changed, as he heard the flicker before the sword turned on. Turning his head to the side he saw her so clearly. Frowning a little he laid down a few papers before turning to her. She was lifting the sword to strike at the man again but suddenly John stood in front of her, blocking the man that he couldnt see. “Why are we connected like this?” He asked, looking at her while his head couldnt find the solution he was looking for. It felt like fate was taunting him, his saying that he would find her without being able to, and yet here she stood in front of him without really being there. |

| The man fell on the ground, covering the wound with his other hand, while he was screaming in pain. With teary eyes he liked up at her and begged for mercy. For what Odette could smell from his scent he was only a human. Therefore weak. Therefore, easy to kill. His blood would be sweet. She could almost already taste it. As a hungry predator, she walked closer to the man and was going to cut the other arm off, if it happened been for a big silhouette, suddenly standing in front of her. In surprise, she took a step back and looked up at what appeared to be none other than John. “Wh… How did you… why are…” she said so confused. Her voice almost trembling. A trembling voice that turned into an annoyed frown. “Step… step back John!” Once again, she raised the sword. Her arms almost shaking. Deep down she knew… she could never hurt him. Behind the John, the man looked at her, face frowned in bewilderment. Who was she talking to? Had she gone even more mad? No matter the cause, he took his shot and were quick to run away. Leaving the crazy girl behind. Odette couldn’t see the man leaving… but a little hint in her told her that it was the case. John’s massive body covered the man as he ran. “Great,” she hissed and looked around. “Where… where are you?” She didn’t let him quite answer, before she raised the sword again, letting the tip of it almost kiss John´s neck. “How can you keep follow me like this? Or… are you perhaps just as confused as I am?” Like a confused mad woman, she lowered the sword again and cursed lowly. “Of course you are… you basically just asked me the same question.”

| He was just as confused as her and his mind just couldnt figure it out. Seeing her with that sword in her hand didnt spark the idea that the ignition of the saber could have anything to do with this odd connection, no seeing that sword light up in the hands of her just felt like a hard slap to the face. Her warning with her raising his own weapon against him made him scoff, but he didnt say anything yet. Yet he could see it so easily. She had a hard time threatning him, he didnt know why but he noted it nonetheless. Her hiss made him believe he had saved someone - Not that he cared about it, yet he wondered what her intent had been. “In a deep buried facility somewhere in the forest. You?” He asked rather fast, like he didnt fear what she could do with an information like that. Not when her hand had been shaking like it did before. She raised the sword and he almost felt the heat and then not really. He couldnt explain the feeling. He gave her a long look at her question till she lowered the sword, drawing in a short breath. “You’re trembling,” he concluded, looking at her hand. “You couldnt strike me down, even if it was all you wanted to,” he remarked, not mocking her as much as he was drawing conclusions from what he could see. He looked around but he saw nothing else than confused scientists and her in the middle of the room with the saber. “I have the feeling as if I should know who you are,” he said as he narrowed his eyes like he was trying to place her face in his memories, but still nothing came up. His eyes grew distant for a second, but only a second to then resume his intense brooding look. His dark eyes piercing and observant as he stared at her like he wanted to stare right into her soul. “Who are you?” He finally asked, something he should have asked earlier. |

| The surprise of John´s honesty was not to hide on Odette´s face. For just a second, she looked lost and slight curious, as she was going to search for him. But what would it matter? Quickly he turned the question around, asked for her location, which she answered to without thinking twice. “An alleyway in Gaia,” it flew out between her lips. When she realized her mistake, she sighed and looked up at her, only to see if he would notice. what didn’t surprise Odette was how he didn’t even move an inch as the sword licked his skin. Not that she had hoped for him to frightened. She didn’t know what she had hoped for. His words made her growl a little. Because he was right. She couldn’t hurt, not even if it what was she wanted the most in the world. Therefore, she didn’t comment on that one. Stubbornly she just looked down in the ground. who are you? These words made her raise her head and look at him. His dark eyes were piercing through. Only in a way she knew he was able to. “Odette,” she mumbled. Her name felt so heavy. “I´m Odette… we used to be friends… you trained me and I…” she looked up at him. Her Turkish eyes twinkling in the red light. For a second, she was who she used to be. “I was in… I lo…” she shook her head and hissed once again at herself. “No… no more…” Why should she tell him that? It was irrelevant and shown as weakness. “yeah. I´m Odette, I used to be a weak little siren, that you helped to defend herself.” She looked up at him. Something in her wished for him to remember her. To see him smile that weak little smile at her again… just one time?

| An alleyway in Gaia? He was surprised to hear that, as it wasnt far from him, in fact it was closer than he intitially had thought. She could have been anywhere, even on another continent. He tilted his head at her, wondering what on earth had brought her to admit her location when he had shown clear interest in retrieving his sword once again. It didnt matter now though because his mind was set on something else. She had clearly recognized him when he first saw her and that had sparked the question as to where they knew each other from? He really couldnt dig out any kind of memory that would help him figure out who she was but it was only because he didnt know that there werent any memories to remember. He was a clean slate in every sense, still carrying the essence of what had been the real John, but with no means of knowing why he was like he was. Maybe that was where the anger sprung from, the unknown. “Odette?” He repeated her mumble like he was trying to taste it. No flavour was to be found, Odette was a name that didnt ring a bell. He felt the frustration slowly boil up in him. Friends? Had he taught her self-defence? He couldnt believe it. She had to be telling lies. She was in... what? He frowned, clenching his hands as he shifted between her eyes. “Are you stronger now?” He asked, eyeing her down and up like he wasnt seeing it. “I can feel your soul, in case you forgot. You’re still so conflicted,” he said, stepping closer as he kept looking down at her. “What are you now Odette?” He asked, looking at his sword ln her hand. |

| Her name on his tongue made her heart skip a beat. She hadn’t heard him say her name for so long. And yet… she could hear the question mark behind her name so clearly. One little thing that seem to upset her so much. He didn’t recognize her name. it didn’t even seem to ring a bell for him. The anger made her eyes tear a little up. which she hid by turning her back to him. “yes… I´m stronger now… I´m a vampire… not a weak little siren anymore,” he explained and clenched her hand tighter around the sword. “And of course, I´m conflicted… you… you…” she almost shook by shear anger, sorrow and frustration. Then it hid her. This wasn’t John. It couldn’t be. The real John must be dead… and this fake one was running around and pretending to be him, without even have the slightest clue of who the real John was. She quickly turned her front towards him again. “You´re not John. And I can´t stand you walk around and pretend you are.” The last part came out between her lips like a hiss. “You´re gonna find me? Well guess again. I´m gonna hunt you down. Just you wait and see.” Here she once again placed the tip of the sword against John´s throat. with one last evil smirk, she once again turned of the sword and was thrown back to reality. In her little alleyway in Gaia. She sighed and sat down on the ground. She had no idea how to find him… but it was gonna happen for sure. A deep facility deep inside the forest. she nodded by her memory and started to walk towards the forest. that traitor needed to be hunted down… and killed.

| She said she was stronger and he could almost believe it by the way her hand tightened around the saber, like wild energy roared inside her. He could see parts of himself in her and somehow it was a frightening thought, like looking into a mirror and seeing someone else where you should have seen yourself. He frowned at her when she seemed to stagger on her words, raising an eyebrow at her as he just patiently waited for her to say what she was going to say. She turned to him and accused him of not being who he was. He frowned, but he wasnt objecting in other way than an expression that showed his confusion. Then she flipped his threat to the sky against himself and he could almost feel the unstable energy from the saber lick his skin. He just looked at her without flinching with the sword at his neck. He doubted that she could kill him, so did he really have anything to fear? The sword was turned off and he found himself back in the laboratory with the scientists all staring at him like they didnt understand what had just happened. "Resume your work," he barked in all his sourness, turning around before leaving the room. He returned to his quarters where he picked out his weapon, his trusty gun that he had luckily assembled after flipping the table and pieces everywhere after their first meeting. He had to prepare, because he had a feeling she knew where to find him now. |

| Determined she walked through the forest and every time she found something that could resemble a facility, she ran over there, only to discover it wasn’t the place. Her determine turned into anger as she seemed to be a bit lost. He she stood… out in the forest, chasing someone she wasn’t even sure was real. “AH!” her loud scream of frustration echoed through the forest. “Where are you… what am I…” she felt how tears started to stream down her cheek. Exhausted she let herself fell on her knees. “what am I even doing…” a little broken whisper. A bit shaky, she reached out for the sword, looked at it as she turned it around. “You´re… you´re not coming back… are you?” The tears were now making her vision blurry. Tenderly, she crawled back and leaned up against a tree. She placed the sword near her chest, hugged it, while still shaking. She cried lowly to herself, pulling her knees close, hiding her face down in them. The sword still pressed warmly against her chest.
Some hours went by… she knew the sun soon would be back… she had to go. feeling so empty inside, she got up and tilting her way back to the last facility she found. It had been empty. She crawled in there, hid from the sun, with her back against the wall. even without turning on the sword, she suddenly felt a presence… a presence she had started to know all to way. She growled lowly, keeping her eyes closed. “Go. Away.” when she finally opened her eyes, she found herself with her back against a whole new wall. Or… the same wall where she saw this fake John for the first time. “You´re hard one to find…” she finally spoke. Here she turned her head and looked at him. “But… I´m not given up you know… I will kill you.” The words were so cold. A tone she never really has used before.

| He had expected her to show up, but after some time he realized it wouldnt be tonight. Laying down his gun he frowned when he felt a fleeting emotion of frustrated sadness. He clutched at his heart, blinking a few times before he felt a tear run down his cheek. He caught it before it got far and looked at it. “Why am I feeling this way?” He mumbled at himself, running a hand through the black thick strands of long locks on his head. He sat down at his desk, staring at the content on it as he seemed to take in this emotion he felt so strongly. It soon passed but he lingered for a bit trying to piece it all together. Could it have been? No. That would be a weird thought.
He had gone to sleep not long after and woken up before the sun would show up. John’s routine was simple, have his shower and start the day with breakfast. He had just gotten into his pants as he felt that pull that he had felt twice now. Turning his head he looked at the vampire Odette and made a silent sigh to himself. What a great timing. “What makes you think I wanted this?” He asked a little annoyed, slinging his shirt over his shoulder. Even his body was different from normal John, the scars that had been from simple accidents at the garage where gone and frankly he did just look like a complete clean slate. He frowned at her words, “You can try,” he said with a shrug before moving closer to her. The coldness he almost found intriguing but he kept his cold demeanor. “It wont bring the John back you claim you know,” he said, clenching his hands a little together. She would feel the dampness of the bathroom like she was there with him while he felt the cold inside of an empty hideout. He narrowed his eyes. “Say what it is that you fear. Say it” he demanded, pushing her for the words he wanted to hear. He wanted to hear her say how the John she knew was dead - Gone or lost. He just wanted to hear it come from her mouth. |

| What she did not need in her life right now… was a half-naked John, standing not far from her, while she could feel the damp from the bathroom. It made her miss her own shower and soap. In general, just her apartment. She hissed lowly at his words. Deep down she knew that he did not wish for this either. Hell… if he could, he would probably wish for never to see her again. Against her own better judgment, she looked up at him and felt how her head spun around. he didn’t even have the scars that John used to have. Completely clean and just as muscular as the past John. Annoyed, she sighed and looked away, just as he started to walk closer. His words stung her like a knife. Hid her in her no longer existing beating heart. Killing his fake one wouldn’t bring the real John back. Suddenly she felt how a ball of anxiety strangled her. “I don´t care!” she managed to hiss out. Slowly she could feel how the tears were building up again. “I just want you… out of my way….” In a form of defense, she hugged her legs tighter and squished the sword against her chest. “You´re not… not him… and I fear… I fear… that I lost John for good.” when a tear finally managed its way down her cheek, she immediately removed it and sighed frustrated. “You´re not him… you never will be…”

| “Out of your way? Was I ever standing in your way?” He asked with a confused tone, watching her clamp together and hug her legs tight. He crouched down in fromt of her and looked at the tear in her eye before it even made it’s escape. “I dont know what John it is that you knew. But that John is dead. He’s gone, never coming back,” he said in a more harsh tone. He just didnt understand who this other John was because he had no memory of ever meeting this Odette that sat right in front of him. But how else could she old the sword he recognized so well? He got back up and looked down at her. “You should just forget whatever John it was you believe you know,” he said in a more cold tone. This odd connection was getting to him at this point because he felt like it was some sort of mocking scheme from someone who knew how he valued his sword. “If you do find me like you said you would... Dont think I wont fight back. I want that sword,” he said, pointing to it in her hand. |

| In the minute he crouched down in front of her, she raised her head and what before was a pair of eyes filled with sorrows, turned to eyes of rage in the minute he used a harsher tone. the tone was not the problem at all. the problem was his words. the words stung like a thousand knives in her chest. She suddenly had the hardest trouble breathing. "YOU LIAR!" She jumped at him, tried to push him, only to go right through him. Apparently the connection hadn´t been that strong. with that result, she just laid there on the ground, in the damp room of his. In pure sorrow she curled herself together as a ball. Low sobs where leaving her, making her shake. "He´s... he´s not..." Seconds of laying there, she realised how pathetic she was, which made her sit up and then slowly get on her feet again. She brushed of the dirt and straighten her back. "You can fight back all you want. I will not give you the sword... You´ll have to rip it out of my corpse hands!" Here she stepped closer to him, ignoring the fact that he was towering over her. Stubbornly she looked up at him. "Now... please, put on a shirt before you poke someones eye out!" Technically it was a compliment to his muscular torso, but she could not care less. With a low growl, she turned her back to him and looked around. "Shitty room... shitty bath... shitty... HOW DO I TURN OF THIS CONNECTION!?" and on the que, they lost the connection, she was once again back in the empty ruin in the forest. Alone... She sobbed lowly and now just waited for the sun to go away...
As the night time finally arrived, she got out, ran and ran until she could feel the connection getting stronger. and at the top of the hill, looking down, she could see a facility hidding in the bushes. "I´m coming asshole," she whispered lowly, silentky hoping he would hear it. and arrive she did, she sneaked in and slowly, she attacked one professor by one. gribbing them and pulling them into the shadows, emptying them for blood. |

| Her outburst with the leap to throw herself over him didnt even make him flinch. If she hadnt gone right through him, what would she have expected to happen? John was a massive man and he was well aware of that fact. He stared into nothing for a while before he turned to look at her, seeing her lie there and sob made him frown. He did find it rather pathetic, but that was because it was emotions he could never come to understand. He wasnt as feeling as the real John had been. "I might," he warned her when she exclaimed that he would have to rip his sword from her corpse's hands. He ignored her request for him to put on his shirt, keeping it over his shoulder as he just looked at her. She was frustrated, it was clear to see and feel from the connection. He tilted his head and just as he was about to say something, she disappeared and he was alone again. He felt how cold he had gotten when the damp warmth hit him with surprise. He made a deep sigh and decided to return to his daily duties.
It wasnt until nighttime that a scientist hurried to his chambers with a tablet, showing him footage of scientists and professors disappearing one by one. He grabbed the tablet and frowned deeply, his grip clenching tight, small cracks appearing in the corners of the glass screen. She was there, he knew she was. He shoved the tablet into the man's arms before he went to get dressed. He grabbed his gun and checked whether it was functioning properly. "Wrong lab, kid," he mumbled under his breath but he was full of anger.
Because the place she had gone to was of a different connection. The real one. With the John that didnt have much longer left to live. He sat in a chair, different machines attached to him to keep him alive at this point. He didnt look as if he was dying, but that was the thing about losing a part of his soul - It wasnt a visible wound. He looked up as he heard the faint russtling of someone fighting back, making him get up from his seat as he pulled off the machinery attached to him. He could feel the sword's presence, he knew it was her. He hurried into the corridor, unsure on his feet he looked around. "Odette?" he called weakly, feeling a sting in his eyes when they began to water. |

| She felt it… not what she had felt for some hours now with the other John. This time it was John. The John she knew and loved. In the beginning she though her head was playing games with her. It was all just a game her weakness and sorrow played in her mind. But no… he heard him say her name. It was weak, but she clearly heard it. “John?” she said a bit louder. Her head turning around, searching every angle, like an owl. “John!” this time she said it even louder. She desperately followed the connection. The desperation made her body start running. Turning around the corner on the corridor, she saw him, and her mind immediately shot down. This was John. She was sure of it. A big relieved smile grew on her face. Tears slowly started to grow in her eyes. “John,” she whispered and quickly ran over to him. The relieved feeling, she had, got thinner and thinner, the closer she got to him. He was not fine. It was clear as the sun. “No… No… what have they done to you…” worried she looked him up and down. The heart that did not exist started to ache with pain.

| Hadnt it been that the wall was helping him stand, he would have fallen by now because that was just how weak he was. He didnt know why Samuel was still intending on keeping him alive, but a part of him didnt like it. He didnt like feeling this weak, to be locked away in some underground facility. He followed her calls, as if she was his guide out of here. Maybe he had really lost his mind at this point, maybe it was because he was to die sooner than he thought. And then he saw her. And the dreaded thing in her belt that he had cursed her with. He cupped her face as she got closer, his worry disappearing and a gentle smile spread on his lips, "I've missed your face," he said in a calm tone as he looked at her. He then shook his head as she looked him up and down. "There's no changing that now. When I gave you the saber, it took a part of me away and left me open. Someone else took the rest and made a new me," he explained shortly before he gritted his teeth in pain and let go of her face, placing a hand on his chest as he tried not to curl together too badly. Without the machinery, he would only get weaker and weaker. "I dont have long Odette.. And I have so many things I should have done and said," he said, all hunched together before he straightened his back. He looked into her eyes and wrapped his arms around her, before he inevitably would collapse, he wanted to hold her in one last embrace. |
