| TIME | 17:32 PLACE | Nyx, Restaurant WEATHER | Sunny MONTH | Late JuneDAY | ThuesdayOUTFIT | HisUniform+ Black shoes + Hairstyle - curly lock ends + A piercing in left earlobe(round silver ring)Topic For - @Chance The summer had finally started and people was more out than inside, which made business run pretty slow, so Nickie was almost by himself, except for Will, that also worked along side of him. He picked some plates up, before walking out to the kitchen, gently placing them so they were easier to get to, before walking out again, and then setting up for a new group of people, if they should suddenly get busy, but right now, they only had three tables that was occupied. Nickie was in his summer uniform, with a little red matching butterfly, and suspenders matching the butterfly but also the decour of the restaurant. The shirt was neatly tucked in the trousers in a dark grey, a great contrast to the baby blue shirt. The shoes were polished and everything looked proper, also the half curly hair even looked styled, except for one little curl, that just had to sit in front of his face, like a wave from the ocean, formed and untamed in front of his forhead, a little to the side, but not hiding the sapphire green eyes with a little bit of yellow brown ish ring, around the big black pupils of his, making his face just look that more adorable, than it already were. " Nickie you look so cute in that uniform, maybe we should just switch entirely to only that ". Nickie laughed a little, before gently polishing a glass with a cloth. " Stop it Will, you are just doing it to make me blush. And it is working ". He laughed again, a soft more young sounding voice, with a not to powerful british accent to it, making him almost not sounding like he was from England. Will smiled, before looking at the door " Oh Nickie ". He gave a head nod in the direction, before Nickie gently placed the glass on the counter, before removing the cloth. He walked over to the people that came inside, before giving them a warm smile, even his eyes were smiling, before saying. " A table for two? ". He then gestured to the side, before saying " Would you like a window seat or one where you can follow the chef inside the kitchen?, or maybe something more private? ". After hearing what they wanted, he walked over to the table with them, before realizing that he still had his piercing in the hear. " I will be right back ". He gently placed the menus in front of them, before walking out of sight, removing the ring and putting it in his pocket, before coming back with a glass carafe with fresh water. He then placed it on the table, after having asked if they wanted something refreshing while looking, if not he would just place the water carafe on the table, but else he would gently pour the water into the glasses he had taken with him also. " So today´s dish is, Roasted Rack Of Venison, Served with croquettes made from the shoulder, beetroots, autumn mushrooms, pickled apples and juniper sauce. Care for something to drink?, before choosing your dishes?. Oh and i am Nickie, your waiter for today, so please do call or hold a hand up, just once is enough and then i will come right to you ". He took a little pen up, before finding a little block of paper, waiting for the drink orders, before saying " I will be right back with them ". He then walked back, before coming back with the drinks if they ordered some, or else he would just go back and wait for them to order, except if they had any questions to the wine card or maybe the food, or anything else. When he finally got back to Will, he just smiled at Nickie, before ruffing a little up in his hair, almost out of sight from the paying customers, before saying in a teasing tone. " You are really getting this job down, are you sure that you want to start studying at Athena Academy here after summer?. We could use a good kid like you some more ". Nickie smiled, before gently removing Will´s hand, before saying " I need to study, but i will be working part-time here. But yeah, i know you will all miss me, since i work most week shifts ". He laughed so happily, still keeping an eye on the table, just to be sure to stand ready. |

| OutfitChance didn’t want to see the city. His mother was determined to see everything they could like they were tourist. They had been there for almost six months now. It was not like there was much more they could see. He had a smoke hanging from the corner of his mouth, constantly to threaten falling over his full lips onto the ground. He picked it from his lips and gently tapped it to release the ash. He then took in another breath through the filter. ”Such a bad habit,” his mother’s voice sounded beside him, speaking in their native tongue. ”Confiscate them then,” he responded in English with a heavy French accent. Their eyes met, both so blue they could be drops from the same ocean. She looked away like the first, giving him the victory of the battle, not the war. That one she had won a long time ago. ”Turn it out then, the restaurant is just up there.” She continued in French. He didn’t blame her. Her English weren’t the best. Not like Chance who had the opportunity to be taught it in school. He made sure the cigarette was dead before throwing it out. He let a hand run through his hair as they walked into the restaurant. Chance looked at the warm smile from the waiter. He looked closer at him, at the green eyes, the brown hair that seemed styled, but also had a mind of its own. It was almost tempting to reach forward and fix the slight imperfection in his hair. He looked at his mother when she cleared her throat. ”Right..” He said looking at the waiter again for a short moment, before he looked back at his mother and translated for her. She responded in French. ”Window seat, please.” He followed the waiter there and sat down, looking through the menu. His gaze fell on the young waiter again. He was cute. He felt the stern look from his mother and looked away from the waiter. ”We’re okay, thank you.” Chance to listen the waiter’s words, trying his best to not look at him. He knew what his mother thoughts of his interactions with men. He had assured her he didn’t like men, that Nathaniel had been a mistake. But he wasn’t sure he believed it. Sure, he was with Echo and he was happy with her. But he didn’t think his time with Nathaniel was wrong. Nevertheless, he was not interested in disappointing his mother again. She had made it very clear, he would not be welcome if he continued fraternizing with men in that way. Since then, she had kept a close eye on him, watching how he interacted with men. Mostly it was okay, but then once in a while she saw a pair of green eyes and couldn’t help himself. He continued to translate to his mother who nodded to today’s dish. ”Two of those, thank you.” Chance looked towards where the waiter had gone a little longingly. He tried to fight this feeling of wanting to know more about him. He had a feeling he could become an issue to him. It might be the last time he came here for a while. At least with his mother. He heard the waiter and somebody else talk of studying at the Athena Academy. He had researched the school a little. If he was going to stay, he might as well try to find a way to spend time. ”Maman,” he started and got his mother’s attention. ”I have been thinking about something. What if I studied while I was here? There’s a school near here who is supposedly very good with people who know about the other world.” He said it all in French, hoping it would butter her up a little. She told him she would think about it. A smile developed on his lips. |

| His eyes was like the ocean, deep enough to drown in, and drowning he was, as he looked into his eyes, not being able to pull out of their grasp, before hearing a sound of glass shatter against the floortiles. " Nickie? ". Like a wave crashing against the beach rocks, he got pulled back into reality, before looking at Will. " Yes? ". He didnt even realize that he had dropped the glass, before Will pointed down at his feet. " Oh shit! ". He quickly got down in a crouching position, before starting to pick the pieces up, not even thinking straight, before feeling the glass cut his finger up. Will shok his head, before gently taking his hand around Nickie´s slim wrist. " Hold still idiot ". He laughed, before finding something to stop the bleeding with, before taking a piece of band aid and then putting it on. " Go on, i will clean this up, we cant have you looking like a pin needle ". Nickie smiled with an apologizing expression written all over his pretty face, before looking at the food that was ready. He took a black round plate, before putting the food on it, and then walking a little blushed in the cheeks back to the table, to the handsome stranger, trying not to look at him, as much as he tried not to look at him.
He didnt know what kind of language they spoke, but it sounded like.. something he had heard before. He gently placed the plates in front of them, telling them a little about the meat, but also about the different ingredience, in a short and very informal way, so they knew the important stuff about it. He stood with his back to the guy on purpose when explaining this, or well.. almost with his back to him. He smiled before taking the menu cards, giving a short nod, before saying " Enjoy your dinner ". After that he walked back to Will, before getting a nuggi over his head, making him try to wave his hands away from him, before laughing and then shortly catching himself in looking the way of the stranger. There was just something so alluring about him, like he had been hit by a wave when he stepped inside. How he looked like a god, well not the sunny fun kind of god, but the mysterious dangerous kinda guy. He could almost feel it inside of him, how his stomach turned looking at him, like there was some deep connection between them, a invisible rope.
He snapped out of his thought, when Will looked at him, before asking " Isnt it your break time by now?. Remember to take them, so you dont end up overstressing that little body of yours ". He smiled. Will was tall and blonde, rather slender build too, but more muscle than himself and then alot taller, like the stranger. He looked at Will, before nodding a little. " Yeah, maybe i should, well.. i will downstairs, at the wardrobe, so just call after me, if they ask okay ". He smiled, before walking past the bar, and then down the stairs where it said bathroom on and also wardrobe. He walked down, before finding a spot to stand. The place downstairs was a good size, with bathrooms for both men and woman in front and then the wardrobe, just a long line, where people could hang their coats, and then a mirror over the wall, and two chairs to sit with a table in the middle, at the end. He sat down before finding his phone, putting his headset inside, before switching it over on a song called Skydiving - from a singer called Lights. He breathed slowly out, trying to drown the pictures of the piercing eyes.. before closing his own, leaned a little backwards. He hadnt gotten that much sleep the night before, so he could feel the tiredness taking over a little, as he layed in the comfortable chair. Since they didnt have anything to to, he ended up dosing a little away, while the music was playing on repeat in his in ear headphones. |

| Chance knew he shouldn’t, but fuck it was hard not looking after him. He did look towards the kitchen when he heard the glass break. What was going on back there? He heard the two men converse. He came to realize it was Nickie who had been cause of the broken glass. He held out the slight hope it was because of him, and then… Maybe it would be better if he just avoided any situation posing such a temptation. No, he definitely had to keep Nickie at an arm’s length. He looked at him shortly when he came with the food, then down at his finger that had been wrapped in a band aid. He once in a while stopped Nickie in order to translate for his mother, otherwise he would never be able to remember all of the information that was presented. He gave a nod when he was asked to enjoy his dinner. ”Beware of glass, they’re the enemy,” he said with a slight smile. He wetted his lips while looking at him. He looked back at his mother when Nickie had gone. She then begun a long and tiring speech about how being gay was wrong in the eyes of God and that he was going to end in hell for even pursuing the idea of being with someone of the same sex. Not only had he already had a ‘sin of the flesh’ he had done so with a man. He fought the need to roll his eyes. ”Oui.” He said with so much poison in his voice it would have killed her then and there.
The rest of the dinner was done in silence. He knew what she felt, and he really shouldn’t entertain the idea of being with anyone, regardless their sex. He was not a cheater. It was not fair to either Echo or Nickie if he lead Nickie to believe something could happen, cause it just couldn’t. Still he couldn’t help himself for wondering what the slender waiter was doing. Maybe they could be friends. Just maybe. He excused himself to his mother and went to find the bathroom. He heard the soft music not far from the bathroom. He walked closer and saw Nickie in the mirror on the wall. It looked like he was asleep almost. He moved closer with gentle steps to not wake or disturb him. He moved closer, as still as possible he stood close to him and just looked a moment. Saw how the jaw grew into his neck, how small, almost invisible, freckles brushed past his cheeks and nose, how his lips formed in such an inviting way. He was once again tempted to reach forward towards him, this time to just feel his hair between his fingers. No, fuck, he had to get out of here. He started to walk, but in the rush knocked a coat of the hangers. He quickly brushed it off the ground, hoping Nickie wouldn’t see him. He turned around to see. Of course, he would notice. ”I apologize. I didn’t mean to disturb you.” He made sure the coat was hanging were it was supposed to before he took a step closer to him.
”I hope I have not been too much trouble for you tonight,” he said putting his hands into the pocket on his jackets. ”My mother has been as fortunate as me and learned the English language. She refuses to pay for someone to teach her and won’t let me. She can be a bit of a challenge.” He felt like maybe he was oversharing. ”And now I’m speaking to much.” I will let you get back to your break. Thank you for good service.”[/color] He started to move towards the stairs. He shouldn’t leave his mother for long. |

| A sudden romage made his instinct take over, before he knew of it, he opened the green almost jade looking eyes, before looking at the man in front of him, who had made the noise, that he had just barely heard, while drowning in his own thoughts almost dozing off. He gently rubbed his eyes, before looking quite stunned to see the guy from before, instantly feeling something squeeze around his heart, before quickly standing up, so he could walk over to help the stranger. He stopped when the guy apologized to him, before finding himself almost tripping backwards, as the guy in front of him shocked him, by suddenly taking a step closer to him, which he wasnt prepared for at all. But lucky for him he didnt fall, before he shook his head a little with a smile over the plushy cupids bow lips of his, a gentle pink hue they had over themself.
He suddenly found himself taking a hold of the guys shirt(coat), before looking at his own hand, intangled in the fabric, before he let go of him, blushing slightly. " No, it´s okay. I dont mind at all, i mean.. i dont mind, as you are.. " he held a little pause, before trying to find an excuse " the customers, so i, yeah ". He looked embarassed down to his shoes, gently rubbing his neck a little, which made his hair a little bit more messy and the locks prickle out to the sides, before he made an expression that showed a small painful look, as he had forgotten about his finger for a moment, looking down at it, before he looked up at the stranger. " My name is Nickie ".
It suddenly hit him as he said the words, that the stranger already knew his name. " i mean, i.. ehm, your name, what.. ". He laughed a little, before saying " Sorry, i must have been dozing off a little too much, so maybe it is actually me that needed to say sorry ". He smiled genuine with his eyes, looking with such a soft gaze to the stranger, feeling as if almost his whole body shivered under the blue ocean eyes of the guy in front of him.

| Chance knew this was a dangerous situation. He couldn’t deny that there was something. Maybe it was all just rebellion. Maybe he only felt this way, because he wanted to piss his mom off, to have her know she couldn’t control it. What else could be? He was not gay; he was dating a girl. He saw how he nearly tripped when he took a step forward. He didn’t mean to shock him, so he took half a step back instead. He swallowed, looking at the adorable boy in front of him. No, he couldn’t think like that. He was boy. Boys weren’t adorable. Puppies were, and children and babies. Not grown boys.
He held his breath when he took hold of his coat. He stopped moving and was just about to rip himself away, but Nickie let go before he could. He started breathing again. ”Right yeah. And the customer is always right. Isn’t that what people say?” He couldn’t contain a smile as his hair grew messier under his touch. He saw how he looked pained for a moment. ”You really should be more careful around glass,” he said twitching shortly at the corner of his mouth without it growing into a smile. He was about to say that he knew his name, but he explained what he meant. Kind of. He was a little awkward. It was endearing. ”No no. It’s your break. You are allowed to doze off if you so desire.” He stuck his hand forward. ”I’m Chance.”
He could practically feel how he was moving further and further into the water. On the shore stood his mother, safe and reliable but also predictable. On an island out in the sea stood Nickie, unknown, mysterious and adventurous. He had gone back to shore so many times. Maybe it was about time he tried something else, tried to swim. ”I should be getting back to my mother,” he said. Right back to shore he went. ”It was nice to meet you.” He walked towards the stairs, but stopped at the foot of it, looking back towards Nickie. He shook his head for even thinking of returning. He shouldn’t. Instead he ascended the stairs. |

| He smiled apologizingly, before saying with a soft tone " Yeah, that darn glass, i will remember to be more careful ". He looked down a little embarassed, hoping that he hadnt seen him, but how else would he know?, and did he know it was because if him, because of those eyes. He gave a slight nod, when the guy said that the customer was always right, if it didnt go like that. He almost melted under the smile from the guy in front of him, how could he crush so hard, from just the mere look of him, how his full lips curled into the smill, as if he had tried to contain it, but couldnt. He looked at the hand for a moment, before getting his body to response, before he slowly took it, feeling how much bigger it was than his own, but not too much, but there was still some. He felt it, how he slightly shivered from touching him, before gently letting go of his hand, with a little smile over his lips. " My pleasure to meet you Chance ". He suddenly caught on how he had said it, a little too much pressure on the pleasure.
He looked down again, still embarassed as ever, but he was slowly getting a little used to looking at the man in front of him, with the rather messy hair, looking thick.. and oh how he wanted to touch it, it wasnt like his own, half thick, curly mess of a hair. He got out of his own thoughts once more, when he heard the guy say that he needed to get back to his mother, before nodding. " Yeah, my shift is also done here in half an hour so.. ". He looked at him a little, as he stopped, looking back at him. He parted his lips as to say something but no words came out, before just standing and smiling a little. " Nice to meet you to... ". After a little while and getting a breather he finally got up, before Will approached him. " You can just go now Nickie, i know how you enjoy taking photos down at the beach, so i´m gonna take over, besides you are done in what?, fifteen minutes or so? ". He looked at him before nodding, looking slightly over his shoulder to the table with Chance and his mother, they looked done also. " Just, dont forget them ". He then headed to the locker room, before changing into some skinny jeans in back, and a white tshirt and brown velvet jacket, before waiving to Will.
He walked out the front door, even tho he knew that he could have gone the other way but.. he just wanted to see him once more, just once, the man with the heavy accent.. french it had to be?. He opened the door, before walking over to the other side of the street, right across the window seat where Chance and his mother sat, before taking his bycycle and then putting his headphones inside his ears, before giving a descreet look to Chance.. before getting up and then cycling away. He loved going to the beach each and every night after a shift, just sitting by the sand, maybe even get to dip a little. As he finally came to the beach, he parked his bicycle before running down to the beach almost throwing himself into the sand and then rolling around, just laying with sand a little over his chest and in his hair, looking up at the blue skye and hearing people pack together their stuff, as the sun wasnt long from going down, giving an hour or two. He slowly sat up, before he found a perfect spot, took of his jacket and then found his camera, so he was ready to take some stunning photos.

| Chance was close to say something flirty. He couldn’t do that to Nickie. Even if he was interested in men, he didn’t know for sure. It just wouldn’t be fair to lead him on, not knowing where he was leading him to. He felt the slightly smaller hand in his, sending electrical impulses through his body. He nodded in agreement when Nickie stated it was a pleasure - he thought so too. He did notice the pressure on the word, but wasn’t sure what to make of it. ”Maybe I’ll see you around,” he said before going up to join his mother again. She was not satisfied with him being gone for so long. He hadn’t even emptied the plate completely and what he had left was cold now. ”Come Maman, we should get back home.” She made a single nod and stood up. She gave Chance her creditcard and went outside. He went to pay for the meal and joined his mother outside. He looked around, hoping to see Nickie once more. But he didn’t. Instead he just went back home.
He was laying in his bed, staring into the ceiling. He wanted to do something. He was tired of just laying here and doing nothing. He grabbed his sketching book, a case with pencils and erasers and put them into a bag he swung over his shoulder before he left his room. ”I’m going down to the beach. I’ll be back later.” His mother started a sentence he knew exactly would lead, and before she could ask him to, he grabbed his keys. ”Don’t wait up.” He left the house and looked around him when he was walking. He loved how everything was so different from France, yet he constantly found similarities between the two countries. He stopped at the edge of the beach, looking at the water in front of him.
He then looked around and furrowed his brows when he saw Nickie laying in the sand. He walked closer, not sure he could hide as well this time. Nickie sat back up and pulled forward a camera. He was not surprised he had some creativity flowing inside him. He moved closer, the sand grinding together underneath his shoes, announcing his presence. ”Is this seat taken?” He nodded to the sand next to him. He loved the ocean. It was so wild and untamable, yet people went into it out of their own free will. It was strange how people were so quick to work into a natural force so strong and unpredictable as the ocean, but still freaked out when rain fell upon them. It was such a strange concept to him. |

| How the sun was slowly going down, just made everything so much more magical. He clicked some pictures, before he started to look through them on his phone, still with some sand on him, but he didnt care. He smiled seeing one of the pictures turning out realy pretty, but he had to wait for just the right moment, like where the sun would kiss the water almost, that would be the most perfect piture ever, and now he could finally take it, since he hadnt had the chance for some time now, and the moment was always so fleeting, how it took just seconds before it was gone, so he hoped that today was the day. He took out a camera from a small back, this time it wasnt the phone, it was just the camera and him, waiting for dusk, before suddenly hearing someone walking in the sand.
He turned only to be surprised, as he was looking at the same guy from the restaurant. Chance was his name, as he remembered. He smiled when the guy asked if the seat was taken. " No, your are welcome to join ". He then moved a little from his spot, still only in the white tshirt, showing his arms off, the muscle could be seen, so he wasnt just some slender little boy, but he wasnt also a toned athletic dude. He looked at his camera for a moment, before looking over at Chance. " Is it okay if i take a picture of you? ". He smiled, before looking at him, waiting. If he said yes, he would slightly lay down, before taking it, so they sky was also in the picture. He would afterwards show it to Chance, before looking at the water, leaning backwards a little bit. " It´s really beautiful isnt it.. ".
He felt almost as if he talked about the picture of Chance, because his eyes reminded him of this, of the ocean, how blue and wildly untaimed it was, like Chance´s hair. He looked slightly over at him, holding a little distance, as to not invade his private space, before closing his eyes a little, letting the wind play with hir curly locks of hair, before opening his green cheerful eyes, looking at Chance now with a smile over his lips, before he stood up and then spread his arms. " I actually envy birds sometimes. Think about it, think about flying over the ocean, diving down near it, almost touching it, before reaching the clouds, how fluffy they look ". He was obviously a dreamer, as he stood there with the sun hitting his skin, how he felt warm. He smiled for himself, before gently sitting down again, taking his camera and then placing it, before finding his phone and then snapping a picture of himself, before falling gently down backwards into the sand, looking at himself in the phone´s screen from the front camera, with a little smile, before trying to find a funny filter lens. " So how come you are here? ". He looked over at Chance, before looking at the bag. " What´s in the bag? ".

| Chance sat down when Nickie told him it was okay. He noticed how the muscles sprung forward on his arms. Perhaps he wasn’t a slim as he had first thought. Chance did like quite a few different methods of exercise, which showed on his body. He was not overly ripped, but you could see he took good care of himself. He looked out at the horizon. For a moment he just felt completely calm. His head turned to Nickie when he wanted to take his picture. ”Um.. Yeah. Sure.” He sat still while he snapped the picture. When he was done, he looked at the picture. He was surprised of how great it looked. He really had an eye for photography. He nodded approvingly, before looking back at the sea. ”It really is.” He let out a breath, feeling like he finally had a moment to relax.
Chance sat quietly and let everything rush over him, the sounds, the smell, the feeling of sand under his body, the water threatening to rush over them if they sat to closely to the edge. It was all so exhilarating because it was peaceful and dangerous at the same time. His gaze fell over to Nickie as he spread his arms, talking about being a bird. How was it possible for a single person to be so adorable? ”I’m afraid I don’t share you imagination.” He was not sure if he should take out his sketch book. It just felt private in a way, and showing it to someone was a little like showing them a piece of his soul, and everyone who knew Chance knew, he wasn’t great at that. He was friendly and sociable, but he wasn’t very deep. People didn’t know anything else than the superficial stuff. ”I came too…” He looked at the bag and opened it up to show him the contents. ”It helps me relax,” he said and flipped up on a blank page. ”You took a picture of me, how about I draw you?” It only seemed fair. |

| He looked over at Chance, a man of few words, but not something that he minded at all. He thought for a second, if Chance minded that he didnt have a stop button anywhere in his whole body. He smiled a little as he heard Chance say he didnt share the same kind of imagination. " Noh, that cant be. You almost look like ". He stopped, before rubbing his neck a little, smiling almost apologizing. " We all have some imagination inside of us, we just have to.. find our muse, our inspiration, what inspired us to be better or just.. what touches our heart ". He waited for Chance to speak a little, so he wouldnt end up dominating the whole conversation, before seeing the content inside of his bag, before hearing his words. " Wauw, so you are a creative soul ". He smiled from one ear to the other, before nodding, " Yes of course ".
He looked around a little, not knowing if he should pose or what to do, so he took the nearest flower that had fallen down, before taking the front to his lips, and then looking a little away, not knowing if he should look sad or nervous or anything and then suddenly, he just looked.. like he was lost in thoughts for the longest time, before he finally looked at him, removing the flower so his lips could be seen, the cupids bow, and how delicate he looked, with his big puppy eyes. " Can i.. can i see? ". He slowly leaned towards Chance, forward.. feeling how his hands disappeared down into the sand, not actually realizing how close he was to him. He looked down at the sketch book at his picture, before saying " Wauw, thats so beautiful, its like magic ".
He couldnt draw himself, but pictures, that was his strong suit.. maybe if someone teached him to paint or draw someday, maybe.. but for now, he would be satisfied with taking pictures, especially pictures of.. him.... Chance. He couldnt help but look up at him, before realizing how close he was, making himself blush a little bit. " Oh sorry, i ehm.. yeah ". He laughed a little, when he pulled back, before sitting down again, looking a little to the side. It was soon time, time for him to take the perfect picture, the picture he had been waiting for, and the clouds.. everything was falling into place. |

| Chance didn’t speak much unless he felt like he had to. And right now, he didn’t have much to say. H wondered what Nickie would have said. What did he look like? He shrugged by his words. A muse? No he didn’t need muses. He drew what he saw. ”I draw what I see. I do not need imagination to do that.” When Nickie agreed to have him draw him, he made sure his pencil was sharp enough. When he looked up, Nickie was standing with a flower in front of his lips, looking away from him. He began drawing. The pencil moved over the paper in precise movements. He stopped at a point and bit the end of the pencil, looking carefully at Nickie before he continued working. When he was done, he looked at his lips when the flower was removed, showing that adorable cupid bow. He then saw the puppy dog eyes. ”Yes,” he said looking down at the drawing, placing the pencil behind his ear. He didn’t notice how close he was, before he spoke in very high praise of it. He sat very still, unsure what to do. He could practically feel his breath next to him. He looked at the drawing, biting into his lips to try and stop himself from noticing how nice Nickie smelled. He looked at him from the corner of his eyes, before he moved away making it possible for him to breathe again. ”It’s fine,” he said and looked at him. ”Do you want it?” He would be okay without it. It would just remind him of things he would rather avoid. He looked at the waves moving over the damp sand. He stood up and kicked off his shoes and took off the socks putting them into the shoes. He then rolled up his pants and walked towards the water. He stood a moment on the damp sand, waiting for the next wave to wash over his feet. When it finally did, he first felt the cold water around his feet, but he then felt something else, like he could no longer feel his feet. ”Merde!” He cursed before he fell backwards, confused about what the hell was going on. |

| He didnt notice the little bite against the pencil, sadly, he would have loved to see it, but maybe that was all for the best, because then the image would just have haunted his dreams, something he wasnt prepared for, and properly would end up with anyways. Dreams about him. As Chance was done and he didnt hear the pencil scribble over the paper anymore, he turned his attention to Chance with a smile, before taking the flower out, gently placing it at his side, before leaning forward towards Chance, just so he could take a little closer look at the drawing. His scent, how sweet he smelled, but there was a smell lingering over him like cigaretts, something that fitted Chance´s image quite well. He couldnt help but wonder, how his hand would smell, as it would travel towards his jaw, him close enough almost to taste his cigarett scented lips. He had to swallow by just the thought.
He pulled backwards before it would get to tempting or awkward for the both of them, or well mostly for him, since.. he got so many mixed signals from Chance, but then again, maybe it was just something he imagined. When he asked if he wanted the drawing, he looked at him a little, before taking his camera, then leaning forward, taking a picture of the picture. " Now i have it, and you have it, like i have your picture ". He laughed a little, smiling from ear to ear, before looking down at his camera. " Wauw, you really are amazing. The skills you possess ". He looked like he was mesmerized for a moment, before suddenly being pulled back to reality by Chance, that suddenly screamed up about something, before falling backwards. He gently threw the camera away from himself, before running over to Chance´s side, not getting any shoes or socks off, before looking at him surprised.
" What happened!?, was it a stinger?! ". He was genuine concerned for Chance´s helt, as he looked at him, before looking at the water, as if he was trying to see what could have made him scream up like that, but there wasnt anything to see. He looked at his feets for a moment, before suddenly finding himself falling, as he accidentally stepped on his own shoelace, landing himself at the feet of Chance, now the waves hitting his back and making his white shirt and himself drench. He looked down to his shoes, and the now wet pants, and the end of his white shirt, that started to stick to him, before he looked up at Chance, as he sat up straight. He started to laugh a little, before looking at him, as the water had hit them again. Slowly he got up, before he pulled Chance a little away from the water, if he would let him help him with that. " And like that ". He looked down at his now wet shoes, before taking them off, and then his socks. He took a grib around his white shirt, gently pulling it a little up, so his flat and toned stomach was a little visible, not on purpose. He let go as the water was drained from his shirt, before looking at Chance. " What happened? ". His voice calm again, and without panic in it, like the first time he asked him. He tilted his head a little like a puppy, waiting for a reply. |

| Chance looked at him as he took a picture. ”Vous avez trouvé un trou de boucle,” he said with a feeling, Nickie might not understand what it meant. It wasn’t because he was trying to show off or anything - maybe just a little - but it was also because he didn’t know the English word, and then it was just easier to say it all in French. ”I draw what I see,” he repeated, looking at him before pulling himself away to go to the water.
He looked at Nickie when he came to his side. ”No. I don’t know…” He didn’t get a chance to finish before Nickie fell at his feet. He couldn’t help but smile. It was so clumsy it was hard not to. He looked at him when he sat up. His laugh was such a sweet sound, so pleasing to his ears. He was surprised the smaller boy was able to pull him away, but since he did have some hidden muscles, maybe it was a mistake to underestimate his strength. He used his arms to get up in a sitting position. He looked at his feet with a wondering look. Why couldn’t he feel them? Why couldn’t he wiggle his toes? He tried poking his leg but didn’t feel it. He then moved his fingers upwards to just above the line where the water had touched him. He felt the poke there. He looked up at Nickie and saw the toned stomach show underneath the wet shirt. He looked down on his feet again. ”I couldn’t feel my feet,” he simply put it, not sure what else to say. He knew as little as Nickie did. He unbuttoned his shirt and took it off to use it to dry his feet and legs. He continued to try and wiggle his toes. After about five minutes, his toes began to move. His heart began calming down a little. What the hell was that? ”c'est quoi ce bordel!” He was so confused he didn’t think about what he said. He just reacted because he was freaking out. How come he could only feel his feet when they were dry? How did that make sense? |

| He loved the way Chance smiled, it made one feel so alive, like there was nothing to fear. He also seemed so mature, like a man with so much on his shoulders already, but to see that he could still smile once in a while, made him almost feel special, since he imagined that Chance wasnt someone that just smiled for anyone, but then again.. * here i go, letting my fantasy run wild. I should really stop letting it *. He smiled a little at his own thoughts, before slowly rising, dragging Chance as good as he could away from the dangerous water, with whatever singer or maybe crab, that had stunned him? or nippled at his feet?. He looked like a question mark at Chance waiting to hear some kind of response, but he had said that he didnt know, also even saying that he couldnt feel his feet?.
" Really?. That doesn´t sound like a stinger to me ". He looked at Chance, as he poked his own feet, before unbuttoning the shirt of himself, to dry them. Suddenly the french came forward again, leaving him standing there like some idiot for not knowing what it was he said. " I.. dont understand ". He smiled a little apologizing, before looking at his feet a little, still nothing to see. " Could you be allergic to the water? ". He looked behind him, just to be sure that there was no rogue siren, trying to kill them with some powers or anything like it. He may looked like a dreamer, but he was still careful at times. " Come, lets get up to our stuff ". He gently held a hand towards Chance, even if Chance was that bigger than him, he could still help him. " So what happened?. Did you feel like stepping on something, or did it just come? ". He looked at him with concern, before looking down at Chance´s feet for a second.
He looked up at their stuff, before looking back, how the sun was almost the right place. He walked up, before placing himself just right, waited for some minutes, before looking at Chance and then at the sun. Click!. He took the picture, before he quickly looked at it. " Perfect! ". He smiled as he leaned over to Chance, almost touching his shoulder with his, before showing him the beautiful sundown. " Isnt it just beautiful!. I have always wanted to get this picture, but each and everytime, something just wasnt quite right, do you know that feeling?, like some moment.. are just so fleeing, and sometimes it just takes a second, before its gone and you never know if the moment would ever be there again ". He leaned backwards a little, looking up into the skye while smiling and then crossing his legs, feeling them slowly dry with the sand on them and between his toes. He closed his eyes for a moment, before hearing his phone vibrate. " Oh, i think thats my mom? ". He opened his eyes, before taking his phone forward, looking at it. He looked at Chance, before saying in a sweet tone of voice. " Do you want to walk home together?, or.. where do you actually live? ". He looked around for a moment, before looking at Chance with his head a little to the side. |

| Chance was really confused about what was going on. He had never had problems with water before, so why now, and why? He nodded in agreement to it not being a stinger. ”Pardon,” he said when Nickie pointed out he didn’t understand. ”I just cursed,” he said with a small smile. He scratched his chin when he theorized he might be allergic to water. ”Is that a thing that can happen? Water allergy?” He had never heard about it before. If that was the case, it would suck because he really liked swimming in the ocean. He wondered what went through his head when he looked away. He took his hand and stood up, uncertain whether or not to trust his feet would work properly.
He kept hold of Nickie for a moment just to be sure. ”No, I just felt the cold water and the nothing at all. I must have stepped on something.” He put an arm on Nickie’s shoulder and used him for balance as he checked his feet for marks or wounds of any kind. ”Nothing,” he said and reluctantly let go of Nickie. Perhaps he was just trying to find ways to be close with him without it seeming romantic.
He slowly followed Nickie back to their things. He watched him as he took the picture. He just looked so passionate about it, like taking this particular picture was lifechanging. Chance looked at the picture he had taken. Then he spoke about moments being fleeing and Chance looked at Nickie for a while. It would be easy to just take the chance and make a move. I understand, his thoughts sounded inside his head. ”Afraid not,” he lied. He couldn’t take the chance anyone would figure out he might not be straight. He looked away from him, until he spoke about his mother. ”An apartment in Gaia,” he said and looked at Nickie. ”We can walk together if you’re going in that direction.” It just seemed stupid for him to go a longer way home, even though he couldn’t fight how much he wanted to get to know him. It would have been much easier if he just kept away, if the time they had in the restaurant was all they had. Then maybe he wouldn’t feel so curious about what went on in his head, wondering if he could even think about him too. Or if he was just a random guy he would forget soon. |

| He looked at him with big eyes, when he had asked him if water allergy could be something that actually could happen. " Oh yes, i have actually read about this poor girl some place in Usa, i think it was texas, where she got allergic when she was fourteen years old?, and have been it since. For her, it felt like being stung by bees or gobbles, she said, so maybe.. you have developed some sort of allergy?, but your skin doesn´t look red to me, so maybe not. It could be cramp perhaps, but then again it wont do any of us good, just guessing. Maybe you should go see a doctor, if it happens again? ". He smiled a little apologetic, since he wasnt as much a help as he would have wanted to be.
He gently walked side by side with Chance, gently holding an arm around him, so he could lean against him, since he could feel the nervousness in him, as he put an arm on his shoulder, which almost made him blush but not quite. " Oh wauw, that does sound weird ". He wished he was to more help for Chance than just asking and making the question escalate even further. He couldnt deny, that he actually kinda loved helping him, feeling his arm on his shoulder, the perfect placement, since he was that shorter than Chance. He looked up at him for a moment, before they were back at all the stuff.
He looked at Chance as he felt satisfied after taking the special picture, but also the company had been so great. Chance really was an interesting person. " An apartment, cool. So i take it from the accent, that.. you didnt grow up in England ". He looked at him a little, before starting to pack his camera. " Yeah, i ´m going that way too, so its fine. I can walk you all the way home, if you would like? ". He smiled innocently, before taking his bag over his shoulder and then waiting for Chance to get up, holding a hand near him, if he needed it. " Me and my mom also lives together, and Night of course, he is so adorable and pretty, but also kind of a prick sometimes, like.. he cant keep secret and stuff ".
He laughed, suddenly realizing, that he had talked about Night.. as if he was human, and even saying the thing about secrets. He didnt know how to explain that Night was actually their talking cat?.. then he would first think that he was insane or something?. He walked up to his bike before unlocking it and then taking it at his right side, so he could walk side to side with Chance. " if you want, you can get on my bike and bike home?, i can jog at the side, or i could hold you?. Like, you sit down onto the bike, and then i push it in the front, like here ". He held a grib at the steering, before smiling to Chance. " Or just walk with it, if you need the support? ". Nickie might look innocent and young, and maybe on the slender side also, but he was actually pretty independent and confident in himself, also good at thinking fast, and then taking the lead in some things. |

| Chance listened as he spoke about a girl who had something similar and then ending his rather long speech in a suggestion to what he should do. ”That would be the obvious solution,” he said with a short laugh. His blue eyes reflection his confusion rather well. They almost looked misty when he looked at Nickie. He scratched his neck and looked away. He hated this. He really did. Because he knew what he felt, but he also knew why he could never go there.
He nodded in agreement when Nickie stated it was weird. ”Very weird,” he further agreed. He looked at his things and bent over to put them in the bag, before placing it on his shoulder. ”I am not sure cool is the right word.” His mother had just taken whatever she could, getting Chance out of there as quickly as he could. ”No, that’s right.” He looked away. He didn’t like thinking about what had happened back in France. He had loved it there, until the whole conflict with his mom.
”Cool,” he said. He didn’t mind spending a little more time with him, but at the same time it ached in his stomach to be so near somebody who posed so many possibilities, knowing you could never explore them. He gently put his hand on his arm, feeling the soft skin underneath, the hairs tickling his palm and the warmth. ”Just the three of you?” He didn’t ask who Night was. He just assumed it was either a family member or someone who worked for them.
Chance walked with him to the bike and heard the many possibilities he had for how they could transport themselves. ”Walking will work,” he decided and looked at him with a soft smile. He was really nice. The world needed more people like that. He was not sure he was so kind himself. He was not a bad person he just had some qualities that weren’t pretty. He had a habit of pushing people away when they could be good for him. ”You have a strong understanding of the word service. You do know you are not required to be so kind, right?” He was not trying to make Nickie be less kind. He was just trying to make sure he wasn’t doing it because he thought he had to, because it was required of him. Chance looked at him, tilting his head just a little before reaching forward. He gently touched his cheek to wipe off some sand. ”Much better,” he said, his fingers lingering on his skin longer than they should have. |

| His eyes felt so compelling, like they just drew someone in. He looked at his finger for a moment, since remembering being totally lost in the eyes, before dropping the glass at work. He shivered ever so slightly thinking about it, and how lucky he actually had been, that it wasnt some expensive and stainable bottle he had dropped. He looked at him a little before asking with a soft and low tone of his voice, while looking at Chance with a little worry in his eyes. " Did i say something wrong?... ". He looked at him, waiting a little while for an answer, but he wasnt ready to like rip up into any wounds. He felt his skin against his, only the hair between the actual skin. He looked up at him with a warm smile, before nodding when he asked if it was only the three of them. " Yeah, well?, sometimes my moms girlfriends would come over, or well girlfriend or.. i actually dont know what they are, except that they are cute together ". He smiled with such a glow over him, thinking about his mother, but also how open and caring she was.
She was really his rock, in everything. Not that he couldnt stand on his own legs, cause she had definitely taught him that too, but just the thought of his mom, and how she was, he loved her, even if she wasnt.. the greatest at the modern day technology, but it didnt matter, she had him for teaching her that. He nodded when Chance said that they could just walk. He walked side by side with him and he could feel his heart beating that much faster, how he felt out af breath much quicker than he had actually fought possible?. He was used to running almost every morning, so this?.. this was SO weird. When suddenly Chance said that he had a strong understand of the word service, he looked at him like a question mark, first not understand his words. " Word service?. Do i talk to much, because then just say that i should shut up a little ". He laughed, while smiling at him, before closing his eyes a little and then rubbing his neck, as he felt rather embarassed, but the kind stuff hit him a little. He knew he had a habit of talking to much, especially when he was nervous, and GOD he was nervous in Chance´s company.
" Yeah well?. I dont know, i have always been a bit of a sensitive child, but my mom learned me to stand on my own feet, and since then, i kinda just grew.. to be this lovable person you see. It´s not something i actually think about at all, its just my nature?, if you catch my drift ". He winked to him, as a friendly token, before looking at the bike for a little while. He closed his eyes for a little while, looking up, before feeling the gentle wind hit him and then suddenly. It was almost as if every breath of air left his lunges, before he opened his eyes, looking shocked at Chance, not realizing that he had stopped dead in his tracks, just standing there, holding at the handle of the bicycle.. looking at Chance with his spring green eyes. He could feel his heart in his chest, how everything almost disappeared.. the feeling, it felt so soft, so.. tempting. He blushed slightly over his cheeks, while looking into the mist, feeling like he lost himself in them.. in Chance.

| Chance had never really worked. He had helped his mother back at the estate, but he was mostly just his mother’s helper. He didn’t have any responsibility like that. He really should get out there some more, try to get some work experience. He had a feeling in which direction he wanted his life to move, but he wasn’t sure how to get there. And nobody knew of these dreams. His mother had other plans for him. She wanted him to be a lawyer. He didn’t want that. It wasn’t in his interest in any way. ”No. No,” he assured him. ”Leaving was not my choice, I just miss it, is all.” Not only did he miss the city and the people, but he missed the freedom he felt. He had never felt more himself than he did then. Because he could be himself, at least with one person, and that was enough for him back then. He listened when he spoke of his mother. So his mother was gay. He couldn’t help but be jealous he didn’t have that kind of a mother, somebody who would not judge because of sexuality. ”That’s nice. I don’t know many people here, so it’s just me and my mom.”
Chance had been taught many things by his mother. Discipline, independence, strong work ethic. He could use all of those things, but what he really needed to learn was acceptance. She had always told him what was wrong and what was right. There was a box for everyone and anything, everything that fitted outside of those boxes were just wrong. He realized his wording may have been wrong. ”No. I meant that I am not your customer anymore. You don’t need to be so nice.” He wouldn’t want Nickie to shut up. It was nice he always had something to say. He was actually really calm. He was a person easily agitated, but he wasn’t nervous. Not anymore. He just felt like he didn’t have to hide right now. He was not going to come out to a stranger, but he had a strong feeling that if he did, Nickie wouldn’t judge him because of it.
Chance listened to yet another speech. Those were really adorable. ”I do. Nature can be very identifying,” he said. He stood a moment looking directly into those green eyes. He just looked for so long, disappearing from the world for just a moment. He nearly leaned in a few times, but constantly fought his own impulses. It was exhausting and heart wrenching, but he didn’t see he had any other choice. He swallowed, moving his head forward just a little, until a car honking snapped him out of it. He turned his head away from him. He pulled forward a pack of cigarettes from his bag. ”Do you mind?” He asked, his facial expression very neutral. He couldn’t lead him on. It wasn’t fair to any of the parties involved, least of all Echo. He put a cigarette into his mouth, but didn’t light it before Nickie said if it was okay or not. |

| He could totally understand that. Leaving another city or even a country. He didnt know from where Chance came from, and if he had said it before, he didnt remember it, properly because he was so caught up in his eyes at that moment, that he almost forgot how he should be a waitor for a moment. He looked to Chance, before smiling. " Well, you know me now ". He didnt feel like just losing this, he couldnt.. it was just not possible. He looked a little surprised when he said that he wasnt the customer anymore, so there was no need to be nice. * Am i really that nice? *. He couldnt help but think a little for himself, wondering if he really came forward as some kind of?.. little nice boy, but then again. " What´s wrong with being nice?, just by nature ". He smiled for himself and then shrugged a little with his shoulders, before walking side by side with Chance.
" it really can ". He nodded in agreement. He was not at all prepared for the gentle cheek caress, or the way that Chance looked down to him, how they both ended up having such a strong and almost intense eye contact. He could do nothing but just stand there, looking into his eyes.. his scent, how he looked at him. As he slowly leaned forward, he tightened his grib around the bicycles grib, before swallowing lightly, so it wasnt as obviously. His eyes for just a brief moment, moved to Chance´s lips, they looked dry, but not as dry as winter lips, but more like smoker dry. He almost licket his lips, but held it back, before hearing a honking sound, that made him take a step back, looking quite shocked, and almost tripping over his bike, before gaining balance. His heart was in his throat now, how it pounded and pumped. He had to take his hand to his chest, gently breathing out, before looking away from Chance with a redness clear as day over his nose bridge and cheekbones.
His body almost shok from the adrenalin pumping inside of him, how he had prepared himself before even knowing it. He knew now, that Chance could be someone he would fall for, if he werent already falling for the man.. so fast?, how was that even possible, but he thought that he knew him better, than he had known any.. except for Night and his mom. He looked to him again slightly, before turning his gaze a little to the side, as to hide his warm face, clearly knowing that he was blushing, he could FEEL it. When he asked if he could take a smoke, he nodded a little, making a wild lock of curly hair fall in front of his forhead, before the green eyes looked to the road, keeping a more clear sight on it now. He felt like he was walking on air, how he almost couldnt believe the strong emotions running through his body right now. He still held a tight grib around the steering, as if his life depended on it. |

| Chance didn’t think about where he was from. He just assumed his accent made it pretty clear. And then he was used to other people actually being French. He had always been better to languages than most subjects. He had a fairly easy time to tell accent apart from each other, as long it was pretty clear. He was not having such an easy time with mixed accents. Nickie’s was British, even if it wasn’t a heavy accent. ”Do I?” He wasn’t sure you ever really knew everyone. There would always be something new to learn, something you didn’t know. ”Nothing” he said thinking over his next words. ”Not unless it isn’t real.” He had experienced people would act really nice around him and then treat everyone else like dirt. It was how he first discovered his ability. It was really the only thing making him different than any other human.
Chance had stepped over a line. It wasn’t his intention; he just couldn’t help himself. He noticed how Nickie’s gaze move away from his eyes. He kept looking at him, taking everything in. He reached forward when he nearly tripped, but he managed to regain his balance. He couldn’t say he wasn’t affected by it. Something fluttered in his stomach every time they made eye contact, his heart beat faster by just being this close to him. It was impossible to not notice the blush spreading across his nose and cheekbones. He wondered if he should say anything or just pretend nothing happened, like everything he had done was something he did with all his friends. It wasn’t, but he had no idea how to handle it.
He lit his cigarette when Nickie approved it and inhaled it deep into his lungs, feeling his body relax by it. He began walking again in a slow tempo. He really wasn’t in any rush. He tried his best to not look over at him. He didn’t want to make him uncomfortable. ”Is there a special reason you’re a waiter?” He was trying to keep the conversation going, even if the tension was on high between him. It was so many of tensions he could barely keep his thoughts straight. He just tried to keep everything straight forward and easy. He had made a mistake. He knew it. Even if he by some miracle was ready to come out, his mom would never allow it. He couldn’t be with anyone for real and it was really unfair for him to lead Nickie on, making him think there was something there when there never could be. Yet, what he did to Echo was even worse. At least with Nickie, there was a small possibility he could be with him. He could never truly be with Echo, not without lying to himself, to her and to everyone else. |

The question came as such a surprise to him, that he turned to look at him, still with a now faded but visible blush over his face. " Wha? ". He looked at him a little, before saying " Oh!. Yeah or well? ". He smiled a little, trying to keep himself calm and not ending in any mouth diarrea like he had done before when getting nervous. " I like the job. I took it because i would some day love to earn enough so i could maybe find a place to live here in town, or maybe take on a short trip to paris or... ". He stopped himself before looking at Chance again with a little smile. * Well this is not awkward at all *. He cleared his throat a little, before saying " or maybe venice or such.. so yeah, and also all the clothing of course and my phone, i pay for that myself, while my mom pay for my school, since i dont earn enough to pay for that myself ".
As they walked side by side he became even less aware of his grib or the bicycle, clearly wrapped up in his own little world, where the mist meeted the spring, how they mixed together and created this fairytail looking land, as they walked side by side. Smiling, talking, the scent of avocado on Nickie´s lips, from a meal he had from work, just a little for his fingers to take, before he had begun with work. And and the scent of Chance and his cigaretts, the smell of sand and seawater, still lingering on his wet pants, not even thinking about cleaning his butt with his hand, as he had stood and looked down at Chance, before helping him up at that time.
Suddenly he found himself falling forward, before the bicycle gave in and fell to one side with Nickie over it. He looked embarassed at Chance at first, since it all happened so quickly, but as he layed there.. he couldnt help but start laughing from it. He smiled from ear to ear, while trying to get up, but each and every time, he just couldnt, because he laughed so much. He could feel his stomach cramp, since he couldnt hold it back, so much as his eyes became watery, and his face red. " Woouw! " He had accidentally stepped on the pedal, which had sent him forward a little, and then losing the grib on the bicycle, as he had fallen over it almost. He got up on his legs again, before wiping away the appearing tears from laughing from the bottom of his heart. " Oh wauw, i really did it this time. I.. ". He smiled a little, before shaking his head, turning around and then bending down, at to get his bicycle, still with sand up his legs and on his behind. He didnt think about it for now. He turned around, before starting to walk again, when Chance was ready.

| Chance couldn’t help but feel like his behavior was endearing. People were just always very put together or a completely mess. There wasn’t many people who were awkward in the adorable way Nickie was. He listened when he explained what he wanted to use his money for. ”Paris is beautiful in the spring,” he stated. They walked in silence for a little while. The sound of him clearing his throat broke the silence. ”It’s good to learn responsibility like that.” He had been here for around six months and he still had nothing to do.
Chance was not very great with words. He preferred to let his art speak for itself. Words just couldn’t capture things like art could, in his opinion. He continued to smoke the cigarette as they walked there, side by side, with nothing but silence between them. Had he ruined things by that back there? Was there even something to ruin? He wasn’t sure. Nickie was just such a breath of fresh air. He was all the things everyone in his life wasn’t. He couldn’t stop himself from feeling drawn to him.
Chance was not quick enough to catch him when he fell over. He quickly threw the cigarette on the ground and stomped on it with his shoes. He wasn’t sure how to react to him just laughing so excessively. He couldn’t even get up because of it. He just looked at him like he tried to get up a few times but to not success as he just fell back again. When he finally got back on his feet, he shook his head with a short laugh. ”You’re a crazy person,” he said with a genuine smile. ”Are you okay?” He started walking with him, keeping a close eye on him. ”No. I’m taking this.” Without permission, he took the bicycle from him and drove it next to himself. ”We don’t need more accidents today,” he kept a firm grip on the bike. ”Eyes forward,” he ordered him. He was doing his best to keep Nickie from harm. |

| He couldnt believe that he just had one of those laugh, where he couldnt stop laughing at himself and how stupid he must have looked, but also felt. " Yeah, i´m okay. I hit my back a little, but im fine ". He smiled, before looking at his hands a little. How could he be so damn clumsy all the time near this guy?!. First the glass, when at the beach and now this, he felt like he wanted to dig himself down into the ground and never show his face again, maybe even be like a plant, but not one of the growing up kind of plants, more like down.. as a carrot. Suddenly he couldnt hold back a little laughter, thinking about comparing himself to a carrot, who would even do that?. Well himself, but still. He looked rather surprised when suddenly Chance took his bicycle, feeling both relieved that he couldnt do the same stunt two times, but also a little bit bad. " Now i feel bad, for making you walk with it ". He looked a little down, but his eyes were smiling, clearly showing how he thought it was unbelivable cute of Chance to take the bike from him.
He had to blink a few more times, when he heard the command come from Chance´s sweet french accent, making it sound so masculine, like a real man. He did as he got told, not because he was afraid of him, but because it was cute that he cared to that exstent. " I can walk you know.. it´s not like i broke into pieces from one crash, besides its not the first time, but.. thanks Chance ". He smiled light hearted, before gently putting his arms behind him, holding them together, before he walked besides Chance, looking at him once in a while, while feeling his heel on the foot he had on the pedal.. slowly starting to hurt a little, but he did his best not to show it. " So do you miss it.. France ". He had put two and two together. The accent, the words he and his mother spoke, he was almost hundred procent sure now, that it was french.. it sounded like it.. the language of love. He felt a shiver run down his spine, before looking down at his almost untied shoelace. " Oh two seconds ". He kneeled for a brief moment, before tying it and then getting up again. " As good as new ". He smiled. |
