| Kenna felt the cold first. She remembered the sun being particularly warm that day, which lead her to believe she was no longer outside. She then felt something burning into her wrists. Was she tied up? She slowly opened her eyes making sure to get used to the light. She turned her head around to see at much she could. It looked and felt like a basement. The humidity was insane. She would of course think this was Nate’s doing. Then she saw the metal table with a smaller table next to it filled with instruments. It almost looked like something you would find at hospital. Except there was still blood on some of these. She was getting really scared. If it was Nate, at least she knew what she could except. Now she had no idea. Who had taken her here and why? She tried to keep her heartbeat under control. It wasn’t going to well. She was beginning to panic. She should call for help, but the words seemed to be stuck in her throat. ”It’s fine, you’re okay,” she whispered to herself and tried to loosen the metal chain keeping her hands tied. Kol had more than one purpose for the female werewolf. First of all, he needed someone to experiment on. He also wanted to create someone similar to Calla. Someone who would understand her better than he could. He was admittedly not the most understanding person. He had not touched her room since she left and offered, she could stay there if she wanted. He didn’t need her anymore like he once had. He didn’t expect anything from her. Kol had learned to get by without her. Now she was just his daughter, his favorite creation. He walked to her room but didn’t bother to knock. ”There is a surprise for you in the basement. I’m going out to get some things.” Kol had his fair share of spells surrounding the house, only make it possible for people of his blood enter it, unless he granted others access. The werewolf would have no way of escaping without his blessing. ”I’ll be back soon.” He left the room and then the house, hoping Calla would enjoy his present. |

| She didn't spend a lot of time here, but anyways she always ended up returning. For some reason it was hard to escape the place that had been your home since forever. She wasn't a subject, but still felt like she was his trophy. Calla was reading some of her old files, it helped her understand herself better time to time - but also remind her of who her father was - in case she forgot. She could hear him coming closer to her room, which made her look up as he entered her room. Calla slightly lifted one of her eyebrows by his words. A present? Instead of running through the marked of possibilities she just got up from her bed. She looked at her phone shortly, should she text Marcus later? She took a deep breath in and shook her head before putting her phone on the bed again. He seemed to be in a good mood, her father. Clearly he thought he had outdone himself with something. What, was the real question. Calla walked over to the basement door and took a deep breath in. Every inch of her being still hated that basement, reminded her of all the pain and horrors that had happened not only to her, but so many people down here. The smell of blood was like a big wave washing over here, making her shark like teeth show, along with the veins under her eyes. Calla tried to control her blood lust when it hit her, but somedays were easier than others. In the basement, she lost it way to easily. Calla grabbed some of the instruments with the blood on and looked at it, like her life depended it.
However what ended up taking her mind of the blood, was the sound of a heartbeat. Not just any heartbeat, the sweet sound of a heart beating faster and faster. She looked at the werewolf and narrowed her eyes for a second before her monster like features faded away again. The girl wrecked of fear. She understood why. Fear was in this room. You could almost feel the energy from the people who had been used as experiments here. Like it was haunted. "I guess you are present," she tilted her head a little to the side looking at the girl. "I have no idea why.. however... I'm sorry about my fathers manners," she sighed before using her magic to untie the girl. |

| Kenna was done with being treated like this. She deserved better than violent ex-boyfriends and maniacs kidnapping her. She was officially over it. She had to find a way to stop shit like this from happening. She continued to try and free herself, but quickly had to stop herself when she felt something silver get in contact with her skin. Whoever had done this had thought it through. Her eyes instantly moved to the door when it opened and a girl came into the basement. Had she kidnapped her? She didn’t look like a kidnapper. But she knew better than to let that cloud her judgment. She rose an eyebrow when she called her a present. She didn’t say anything, not even when she apologized for her father, who was apparently behind it. She stood up and rubbed her wrists when she was released. ”You don’t choose your parents,” she said softly and walked around the room. ”What is he going to do to me?” She asked the girl, looking at anything but her. She wanted a way out of here, and if this girl was in the way, she was going to do something about it. ”Does he usually bring you people as gifts? Because that’s extremely messed up.” Her American accent was not to be mistaken. She had not been here for a month and she had already been attacked and kidnapped. She was afraid this would only keep happening, if she didn’t do something about it, if she didn’t learn how to defend herself in situations like this. ”What’s your name?” She asked and finally turned to look at her. She was not sure she should trust her, so she was wary about telling her information she could use against her. |

| "I certainly did not," she snorted a bit dry and shook her head. Calla frowned but watched the wolf girl walk around in the room. The question was typical, What is he gonna do to me? Calla lifted her shoulders a little and crossed her arms. "He rarely repeat his experiments unless he made something extraordinary he wants to multiply," she narrowed her eyes and tried to figure out what her father would do with a werewolf. The next comment made her chuckle a little and sigh. "If you think this is messed up, you came to the wrong city," she pointed out and looked around her. "Calla," she answered. Her name was no secret, it wasn't like she had to hide who she was. Even through people at the academy knew certain rumors. "But no. He doesn't typical bring me people as gifts, unless its food. I no offence, but I don't really like wolf blood," she answered the question from earlier. "He has spelled the house. So, you can't really get out till he gets back. And its only creatures with his blood that can get in and out.. So.. we could try feeding you my blood. But I doubt you would trust me enough to do so." she narrowed her eyes a little. Calla still had doubts in understanding some emotions, but she was rather good at listening to heartbeats.¨ "It's okay to be scared. A lot of bad things has happened down here, but if you are lucky... nothing bad is gonna happen to you. Just look where you step, some of the creatures living here are small, but deadly," she pointed out and grabbed a little spider like creature on the wall behind Kenna. "They don't attack me, one thing is I'm their creators daughter.. but mostly because I'm just like them." |

| Kenna frowned. Experiments? What the hell was this place? ”So he’s going to experiment on me. Perfect.” She shook her head, not sure what you were supposed to do in a situation like this. Surely not talk with the kidnapper’s daughter. Then again, this girl didn’t seem to know anything about it, so maybe she should give her a little trust. ”I’m beginning to realize that,” she responded with a sigh. ”I’m Kenna,” she introduced herself. It was hardly information she could use against her, if she so desired to. She chuckled at her comment about wolf blood. ”Most people don’t.” She nodded as she explained about the house and creatures. ”No, you’re right about that.” She didn’t trust easily these days, and Calla hadn’t earned her trust yet. She looked at her as she tried to be comforting, but actually just was the opposite. Kenna turned around and saw the creature Calla just picked up. ”What the fuck,” she muttered under breath. No way in hell she was staying here. Without responding to what Calla said about being like them, she walked up the stairs in a fast pace. She walked to the door but was stopped by something – the magi probably. She tried again, but another spell pushed her back until she collided with a wall. ”Damnit,” she mumbled and stood up. She had to find a way out. She was really scared now. She didn’t want to be experimented on. |

| Calla sighed when Kenna walked up the stairs. "People never listen these days huh Freddie?" She looked at the spider before putting it down again. "People are waaay to busy," she mumbled before walking up the stairs. She heard the sound of the wold colliding with the wall behind her. "Could be anymore idiotic?" she threw her arms to the side, "I just told you there is no such thing as getting out," she shook her head before walking over to the wolf to give her a hand up, but Kenna was already at her feet before Calla reached her. "You wreck of fear, do you know that?" She frowned a bit and looked around them. Calla still hadn't talked to her mother after their fight years back, she should, but really wasn't in the mood for emotions like that. "Listen I may be a basket case, but I'm not my father okay?" She looked at the girl more serious did time. "I don't experiment on people, and I'm not letting him do it to you if I can prevent it. No one else needs to suffer," she pointed out and exhaled. "You can either stay here looking at the door for ours.. or you can come with me to my room.. and we can try figuring something out? Like who am I gonna call when I convince my father to let you go?" |

| Kenna scoffed at her words. ”Like you said, I don’t trust you. How am I supposed to know this is not some sort of good cop/bad cop situation?” She crossed her arms in a defensive stand. ”Of course I do. You just told me your father is going to experiment on me! I’m fucking terrified!” She acted angrily, but it was just to mask how scared she really was, even though Calla already knew. ”I haven’t even met your dad. The jury is still out on that one,” she said with a less angry tone, though still hostile. ”If I trust you and I’m wrong, I will me super pissed,” she said in a serious tone. ”Okay fine. I suppose I need some help to get out from here. Your dad really thinks things through, doesn’t he?” She looked to the stairs when she hurt the squeal from another creature. A furry ball resembling a bunny jumped down the stairs. ”Are they all his experiments? They’re like.. Cute? Why does he make them cute?” She furrowed her brows at the bunny until it began breathing fire. She took a step back. ”Woah,” she exclaimed with a clear surprise in her eyes and voice. ”This place is insane,” she stated and shook her head. ”Maybe we should go to your room now before I seriously freak out,” she suggested. |

| "If I wanted to kill you or hurt you. You would have been in pieces in the basement with your blood painting the walls. That is how you know," she wasn't going to hold back the truth. "No, I said he usually did.. you are a present, its like a whole other concept of things in this house," she pointed out and shook her head at the werewolf getting angry. "Are you through yet?" She lifted a brow till Kenna seemed to use a little less of anger in her voice. "I never told you to trust me. I just said I wanted to get you out of here," she pointed out and exhaled. Calla left out a light chuckle to the comment about her father thinking everything through. "Yeah he does," she sighed and looked around. Her eyes turned to the little creature on the stairs and she smiled a little. However her green eyes turned to Kenna about the comment. "Its quite simple actually. The innocent look is precisely why it makes an effective killer. The sweeter the honey, the deadlier the trap," she explained before smiling a bit brighter when the creature showed off with breathing fire. "You are such a show off Billy," she shook her head. Calla had named moved of the creatures, possibly because she had been bored and lonely. Naming the creatures made her more connected to them. "Yeah, its like a fucking zoo," she sighed and looked back at Kenna then at Billy again. "No Billy, forget it. She isn't into you," she yelled at the creature showing off her fangs to show him off. The mentioning of her room made Calla look at the werewolf once more. "Follow me," she began walking to the room. A room filled with books about different creatures. More stylish than you would think. Calla liked things looked good, it made her feel human for some weird reason. Calla closed the door when they had walked in, only before kicking Billy away when he tried to enter. She walked to her bed and took her phone, to place it in her back pocket of her shorts. Calle took her file up and closed it, then placed it on her desk. |

| Kenna narrowed her eyes when she spoke. ”What I know is that you just talked about killing as a casual thing. It’s not casual at all and it’s kinda freaky that you talk about it like it’s everyday stuff that happens.” She didn’t know what it was about this girl, but she liked something about her. Maybe it was because she seemed to had survived something bad as well. ”Oddly enough, that doesn’t make me feel more calm,” she said with a sarcasm in her voice. ”Probably not. I think I have the right to be angry when I’m basically a prisoner in this house with cute but lethal creatures running around. This is like some shit taking out of Alice in Wonderland.” She shook her head by her own comment. What was even happening here? How was she supposed to react to this situation? It was not like this, most kidnapping situations was presented. It was not about money or revenge. She didn’t know what that man was thinking. ”Well I still have to trust you to keep your word,” she responded.
”So what are you? I’m sorry, but how you have described him, he doesn’t seem like a very fatherly type. Are you an innocent killer too?” She looked at the creature she called Billy. ”Who names them? He is so a Sammy, not Billy.” She made a sound that resembled a chuckle at her comment about it being a zoo. Into him? What did that even mean? She honestly believed knowing would be worse than not knowing. She decided to just follow Calla to her room. She shortly looked around the room before looking back at her. ”I’m sorry I was rude. This is just really weird. I mean, it’s not like he kidnapped me and held me hostage for money or something like that. He gave me to you. What does that even mean?” She walked over to the wall away from the door and leaned against it with her arms crossed. ”Is he setting us up? I’m sorry, you’re a very beautiful girl, but I don’t swing that way.” |

| Death wasn't a topic that scared her, or she felt bad about mentioning. Killing wasn't either, Calla was born to be a killer. Designed to do so. Calla sighed at the werewolf, clearly not one who was used to be in situations like this. Not many people were, but Calla was. So what are you? Calla took a deep breath in and returned her eyes to Kenna shortly. "Just the creation he has ever made," she spoke as she looked away. Kenna was right. Her father wasn't the fatherly type, actually he wasn't really a caring type - or in some ways he cared about his experiments. The house was full of them, and they wouldn't be here if they didn't mattered. "Take a guess," she added when she asked if Calla was an innocent killer. "Sammy is sleeping in the sitting room, this is Billy," she corrected.
Calla looked at the werewolf when she said she was sorry for being rude. Calle rarely used that word, but so many people she met around in Gaia said it all the time. Even in central London, most English people said sorry about everything. However Calla listened for a second before leaning against the wall. "It means he thinks I need more friends. Because if I have friends. I won't go on a year of travelling again," she spoke and took a deep breath in. "Believe it or not, with a father like mine - I don't have a lot of them. This is why I name the creatures. I guess it made it less lonely, don't worry. I'm not a prisioner here, not anymore at least," she added and narrowed her eyes by that thought. Her relationship with her father was rather toxic, and she knew that. But there wasn't a lot of people in her life. Roy had this own family now, away from her drama and her twisted life. He deserved that happiness. Jess had her own family as well, actually Veronica, Jess and Roy seemed to gave their own little reality. And Calla? Calla just didn't fit into that frame, if she was going to later on - that was another question. "Don't worry. He isn't setting us up, not in that way anyways," she took a deep breath in. "Is there anyone I need to call about your whereabouts, someone who might be worried?" |

| Kenna widened her eyes when Calla said she was her father’s creation. He sounded like a maniac. ”I should have stayed in the U.S. Stuff like this didn’t happen there,” she said with a shake of her head. She knew she couldn’t stay there, but everything here seemed so complicated compared to what she was used to. ”I guess everyone can kill in the wrong circumstances,” she just said with a shrug. She could not imagine herself ever taking a life, but maybe she would one day. You could never know. She raised her hands in a surrendering manner. ”You do you.”
Kenna snorted at her explanation about why he had done it. ”He sounds seriously messed up.” She was not sure she could make a friend under these circumstances. Calla seemed cool enough, but she was not sure that was enough. ”No, that makes sense. But I mean.. Maybe we can be friends. I don’t know. This is just really strange.” she sighed and shook her head. She could use some friends too. ”Okay, so it sounds like we could both use a friend. Maybe we should give it a shot? I’m stuck here anyway, might as well make the best of it.” She gave Calla a small smile. She had only met a few person since she got here, and she hadn’t made many lasting relationships. Maybe Calla could be one. It was a weird start for sure, but maybe not one that should stop them from pursuing it. ”Okay. Good.” She searched her pocket for her phone when she asked about calling someone. ”He took my phone. I’m too much of a millennial to remember phone numbers in my head. It’ll be fine, surely.” |

| "I can add thins that are more messed up and strange, if you want your mind taken off your situation?" She suggested a bit sarcastically, however it was really hard to tell if she was begin sarcastic or not sometimes. "You don't have to. Once he gets back and you get out. We most likely won't see each other again, so don't waste your money on me," she sighed a little bit. Calla had Theo and Livia as her closest friends. But haven't heard anything from them in a while. Theo was possible busy being involved with her mother now, which was messed up enough as it was. "Of course he did. I have mine, if you remember anyways," she took her phone up and looked at the screen. She wanted to ask Marcus if he would go to the circus with her, she had never been at a circus before - but she was to nervous to actually type or call about it. Calla shook her head by her one thoughts and put her phone back in her pocket. "But for what its worth, at least we can talk.. do you know anyone in the area? I know a few people, I spend a lot of time in these woods.." she admitted and tilted her head a little to the side. "And I actually go at the academy as well. Believe it or not." |

| Kenna violently shook her head. ”No I’m good, thanks,” she said. The sarcasm passed by her. She was usually pretty good at noticing sarcasm as she was quite sarcastic herself at times, but she didn’t know Calla well enough to know when she was sarcastic or when she meant it. ”What money? I’m broke.” It was sad but true. She had no money to her name anymore. If not for Ellery, she would be living on the street now. It had been scary to start over in a new city and a new country, but she thought she was doing okay. She didn’t know that many people yet, but she was sure that was going to change when she found a job. Then she was more likely to meet more people. ”I don’t, unfortunately.” Kenna could see Calla was thinking about something but didn’t feel like she could ask what. She didn’t really know her. ”Sure. We can talk,” she agreed. ”Only two. I have a childhood friend with a pack around here, and I met someone when I first got here a few weeks ago. I like the woods too. Especially when it’s that time of the month,” she smiled at her own joke. ”My friend goes there too. I want to attend but as I said, I don’t have any money.” It would be nice to have something to do, and even though she had finished college, she was of the belief you could never learn too much. And it was to her understanding that you could be taught in magical subjects as well at Athena. She wanted to study some of those if she could. |

| Just the mention of a pack made her think about the packs she had heard off. It wasn't a lot, but she knew a few werewolves. She knew Marcus and Dean, both alphas. Calla manged to come out with a real smile by Kennas joke. So Kennas friend went to the academy. The changes of Calla knowing that person was small, after all - Calla kept to herself. "I don't pay to go there," she then said. "Well, my mum is a teacher there.. but even before I knew that I didn't pay. I'm sure my mum can get you in," it would include Calla actually talking to her mum, but yeah. "It's a long time since I transformed last..," flashes of horror hit her in the face, which made her shook her head a little. "But why are you here and not in the states? I mean, if you don't like being here?" she asked and didn't mind overstepping. Calla knew a thing or two about taking distrance to toxic places or trying to outrun events. Calla took a few steps over and sat down on her bed looking at Kenna. |

| Kenna doubted Calla would know the one person she knew in this town. But then again, it was a small world. She rose one eyebrow slightly as she said she didn’t pay. ”Why didn’t you pay? Are you a celebrity or something?” She just shook her head. ”No that’s okay. I’ll find something else to spend my time doing. There’s a lot to do here,” she didn’t have a choice to transform or not. Calla’s scent had thrown Kenna off at first. She was a mixture of many things, some she didn’t recognize. She thought it was probably because of her father. ”If you ever need someone to run in the forest with, I could be down for that. I mean, I am technically a part of a pack now, but I still don’t feel like I am, you know?” She decided to sit down next to Calla. ”I had a boyfriend who was not good for me. I just had to get away. It’s not that I don’t like this city, I just feel like too much bad has already happened here. And it is so much different. But besides Chicago, it’s the only place I know. And the only place where I know an alpha, so I didn’t think I had any other choice.” She tilted her head slightly. ”I think you would like Marcus. He has questionable taste in clothes and is too tall for his own good, but he’s a really good guy.” She was not trying to set them up or anything, but she thought if Calla knew who Kenna knew, maybe there was a bigger chance of them becoming friends. She had no idea how much she had needed a girlfriend until now. |

| "Maybe, we will see." The thought of running wild and free was tempting. But what if she could transform anymore? After that year where she had been forced to stay in a half way transformation in weeks, it had changed something - or maybe it was just fear, and then she died. Calla hadn't transformed since before she died. "I have never been apart of a pack -" she muttered in a low voice. Calla frowned when Kenna talked about a boyfriend who wasn't good to her. In all the pain and torture Calla had been through in her life, she was lucky that she have had two great loves, Wililam and Roy. Even through they both was in the past, they still had given her more than they knew off. But she remembered the time Roy had killed Veronicas abusive piece of shit vampire boyfriend, Calla had taken a bullet for Roy that night. Where I know an alpha, that sentence made Calla return back to the present. "Marcus?" She frowned and tiltled her head a little to the side. "You know Marcus?" There wasn't a lot of alpha werewolves in Gaia who went to the academy, who was named Marcus. "I know him," she smiled a little shortly and breathed out. |

| Kenna had been around wolves all her life, and although Calla was like nothing she had ever encountered, maybe she could help. She had been trained to help the wolves in her former pack, so it was not unlikely she was able to offer some guidance to Calla as well. ”Sure, whatever you want,” she said with a short smile. She shook her head at her words. ”I don’t believe that. A pack can be many things. It can be a family or a friend group.” She had never been able to face off against Nate, not yet. But the more she spent time with people who wanted the best for her, the more confident she became in herself. She would be ready if he ever showed his face again. She frowned as well when Calla spoke of Marcus as she knew him. ”Really? That’s a little freaky. I have known him since I was a child. He is my oldest friend.” She smiled slightly by the memories that came to mind. Then Nate ruined it, like he did everything. ”Do you have classes with him at the academy? Or how do you know each other?” She was curious and wanted to know more about how she knew Marcus. |

| "Maybe once i did have one then.. but things ended.. pretty tragic," she looked down. And for a moment she wasn't the tough and straight forward girl who had walked around in the basement or sittingroom - she was just herself. However the talk about Marcus made her attention switch quickly to that topic. She smiled a little when Kenna said she had known Marcus her whole life. "No we don't have any classes together.. I was reading one day in the library, and there was a free spot across from me. He just smiled and asked if he could sit there," she told with a more girlish grin on her face looking a bit down as she exhaled. "I was trying to help him with some of his studies, but I have never really finished any type of school before.. I just know stuff from what I read in here," she turned her eyes around to look at all the books. "We just went for some ice coffee at my favorite place, and then a little walk around in the woods.. I don't know.. he was just.. kind to me," she chuckled a little by the last sentence before returning her eyes to Kenna. "He is a really gre-" the door opened. "Dad, seriously? You have to learn how to knock," she rolled her eyes and got up from the bed. "Can you lift the spell now, or at least just make her able to exit and enter as she pleases?" She took a deep breath in. "Besides you were the one telling me I should try to learn how to transform again.. right? Who is better than my new friend?" |

| Kenna knew something about tragic. ”Well now you have me. And if and when your dad decides to let me go, we can still hang out. This is definitely an unorthodox way to start a friendship, but you seem pretty cool. I have so much testosterone in my life, I could use some ‘girl-power.’” She put air quotes around girl-power, because she usually didn’t use that term and mostly said it to mock the expression. Why should girl powers be any different than boy powers? She smiled as Calla told the story about how she and Marcus met. It sounded like him. ”Okay, that is definitely him,” she agreed. Before Calla could ravish about how great Marcus was, which Kenna would definitely chime in on, she was interrupted by her dad.
Kol thought the girls had spent enough time connecting. Now he wanted to make sure the werewolf would never leave. ”You’re right, I’m sorry.” He rose his hand and the sound of a knocking appeared on the wooden door when he muttered a magic spell. He walked to the room standing across from them. ”Why? Don’t you like her? I can find you another. I do need some new bodies for experiments so if you don’t think this is the one I can use her for that.” She spoke as if the girl wasn’t even there. He crossed his arms as he mentioned the girl could help her transform again. He looked at the wolf. ”You are allowed to leave the premise as long you make me a promise to come back to help my daughter.”
Kenna was confused by this man. It seemed like he cared for Calla, but not in the traditional way a father should. ”I pro…” He held up his hand and made it impossible for her to speak any further. ”Not that kind of a promise, a magical one. I promise to let you go and you promise to come back. If either of us breaks the promise, we will feel immense pain. Are you interested?” Kenna looked at Calla, not sure what to answer to that. She wanted to be let go, but setting yourself up for the chance of that kind of pain also seemed dangerous. |

| Calla frowned a bit, she had better hearing than he did - he really thought she could hear the spell casting even behind the knocking? "No. I like her," she added quickly and looked at Kenna. However it seemed that the transforming part kept Kenna safe - for now at least. If anything Calla had learned the last couple of years was that you needed to be careful what kind of deals you made. Especially now more than ever, it wasn't everyday you talked to the devils son - and now that she realized that both her grandparents were masters of deals - it made her think twice in times like this. However Calla did have her own secret trick in her sleve. "Hey daddy.., you want me to show you.. that I can do stuff on my own now.. so watch this," she gave her father a little half smirk before she used her speed to run over to the wall and netrualized the magic around the window - only to grab Kenna in her arms and jump out the window. Calla hadn't had time to tell about the abilities she had gotten from sharing her body with Clementine - but this was one of them. Calla put Kenna down. "Sorry, sometimes I forget what I'm capable off till the instincts hit," she looked up the window. "Sorry dad! See you soon!" Then she walked off with Kenna.
//Vi kan bare oute det her nu hvis det er, så kan du lave det nye? <3 |

| Kenna felt the corner of her mouth twitch as Calla admitted she liked her. She was not comfortable showing any kind of emotion around her father. She sat still and let the two talk. She was not scared around Calla, her dad was another story. He had kidnapped her after all. She looked up when Calla quickly ran to the wall. She then picked her up and before she had a chance to react, she jumped out of the window. She braced herself for the impact with the wall, but it was an oddly soft landing. She sighed in bliss when she was put down. ”Dude, I get instincts. Also, don’t apologize for helping me escape.” She began walking with her. ”So you like me? Well then it’s good I like you too,” she said not once looking back at the house.
Kol was impressed by Calla’s skills. He wasn’t even mad at her for helping the werewolf escape. What he wanted had happened. They were friends, or whatever. ”Bring me a present next time,” he yelled at her as the girls walked off. He left the room and went back in the basement.
