The Main Event

Delphine gently took her sister’s hand and gave it a small squeeze. Then her eyes scanned her neck, noticing the bruises that she hadn’t before. Her eyes pressed together in a worried manner as she looked back up at her sister. “What happened?” she asked, not listening to what was happening around them. The laughter had died out, and she no longer thought about the fact that Orion was standing there in Anthony’s body. All of that came in second to her worry that evolved around her sister. One could ask why these two sisters had the strongest bond, given that there were so many other siblings. But Delphine had never really had much love for them. Florence had always thought she was better than all of them, and Pearl, well – she would get a big wake up call when she no longer had a place to turn. Only time would tell where she would end up now.
Orion’s comment on the don’t kill part made Bast chuckle shortly before shaking his head a little, turning his attention from the still annoyed former demon towards River and Francis as they started speaking about taking over the place.
Linus came back and raised both his hand, one of them now holding a beer. “I’m done”, he chuckled, giving Orion a small smile before turning towards Francis and River. “We will make southside into what Anthony envisioned but never had the skills to do”, he said, taking a sip of his beer. “Because let’s face it, southside is overrun by petty thugs and people thinking that they are the next big thing, we need a vision, and one of them is making a better community; I’ve already set things up with Eris Clarke, she’ll help with some of it, provided we make her our biggest contact – which given her skills I don’t see should be a problem,” he said with a crocket smile, they were going to build something great here. Only time would tell how big.

Kailani took a slightly sharper breath in, "just an encounter with an archangel, nothing that I can't handle -" she tried to assure Delphine, but they couldn't really know that. Azrael had swung by and ended Orion within seconds while none of them watched, Kailani found the fact that she was still sitting here just slightly bruised a bit of a big deal, but she also by that knew that perhaps she should get some information about Levi. "I will be fine," Kailani pointed out once again.

Then turning her head as Linus came back into the room, to pay attention to what the brother's had been planning. A chuckle left the siren, "I love it, -- cheers to that -" she raised her glass a little bit, Francis raised his glass towards Kailani. "To making Southside great," River nodded a little raising his glass as well. "It will take some time to get things up and running, but we will get it done," Francis commented with a little nod. Luckily you could say Anthony had done most of the dirty work already, making it easy to take over and actually put in the needed effort for the final steps. "I'm sure you will do, you just let me know if there is anything you need," River replied with a smile then taking a sip of his vodka.

Delphine made a small huff and narrowed her eyes before gently turning her sister’s face away from her. “Fine, but only because I know you’re a big girl and can take care of yourself”, she chuckled, licking her lips before turning her eyes back on the rest of the gang. “I say this was a job well done”, she laughed, looking towards Orion shaking her head as she couldn’t believe it was him. Then she looked back at Linus, Francis and River. It was almost as if they were back in Russia, planning the next big thing. Which reminded her; “Well, I need to get going; as I said before, I have a big concert tomorrow and – yes, well”, she chuckled before skipping towards Orion, placing a hand on his shoulder and reaching up to place a soft kiss against his cheek. “Luckily, looks don’t make you who you are, and eventually, people won’t even think about that you are looking at him now because they will see you”, she whispered in his ear before falling back to her feet and giving him a small wink before she turned around waving goodbye before she would walk outside and find the quickest way back to her home in Aston.

Bast looked from Kai to River, then Orion. “Maybe we should find our way home too?” he asked, letting out a small sigh as he drowned the rest of his drink and then turned to the two brothers seeing what they wanted to do now. “We need to take a look at things and then figure out who is staying and who needs to find a new place to call home”, Linus said with a smirk on his lips, not crying about having to make the significant changes around here. It was about time they put down roots and made a name for themselves rather than just running around being an urban legend.

"Oh right your big concert, go rest up then," Kailani chuckled a little at her sister. Orion moved his eyes towards Delphine coming closer towards him as she then placed a hand on his shoulder and gave his cheek a little kiss, he couldn't help but chuckle a little. "Thank you," he whispered with a smile of gratitude, knowing it would take some time to even be able to feel like himself. Then waving letting the siren take her leave from the successful take over of Southside.

Kailani breathed out and nodded a little when Bast suggested they should head home as well. "You guys go ahead, I will try to find my grandson before he does something stupid," he tabbed his fingers a little on the counter and downed the rest of his drink. One thing was Timothy doing stupid shit because of it being who he was, but he had been gone for longer than he usually did in times like these. "And give me a call about that, I always like getting people to spill their true intentions out," River chuckled with a little wink before he took his turn to go find Timothy. "Leaves the rest of us - now you boys take care, I will come and visit, because I'm looking forward to see what you will turn this place into," Kailani looked towards Linus and Francis with a a warmer smile. "You are always welcome, all of you are. But yeah, we got work to do," Francis moved his eyes to his brother for a short second. "Good luck with the face and all," he nodded towards Orion who just gave Francis an unappreciated smile then turned towards the door.

Then leaving Francis and Linus by themselves. "So, where do we start?" Francis asked picking up his beer to toast with his brother then looking around.

Linus placed two fingers on his forehead and saluted River as he walked out to find his grandson; then, he looked towards the three remaining people before they decided it was time for them to head home as well. Not that Linus didn’t understand, there was a bed out there that was calling his name, but as he looked around, he knew it would take some time before he would find his way back to said home. No, this wasn’t time for sleeping; this was time for greatness. Fingers needed to be put in the dirt, and it was now the time for lifting together and showing this part of town just how much it was missing out on. Would it be a place for the outlaws still? There was an easy answer to that – yes. But that didn’t mean you had to live in poverty or that things couldn’t be beautiful. For far too long had the elite slept too peaceful; with Francis and him running the ship, things were going to change, and it was an adventure he was looking forward to.
