The Main Event

Kailani stood in the door for a moment looking at River and Bast talking, crossing her arms a little bit. "So, are we going to do something or not?" She wondered knowing River already had given Anthony a good round, and that was something you usually didn't see River throw his punches for just anyone. Kailani had already texted Delphine about the event of things when she had been out searching for clues earlier, so she knew her sister wouldn't be far from getting here soon enough. River looked up towards Kailani and exhaled then looking at Bast, "now would be a good at time as any, let me make a few calls we might need our criminal mastermind to get away with this, and all the luck we can get. So, I will call Francis and Linus, hope they are up for a kick like no other," he took a sharper breath in and downed his drink before getting up from his seat to tend to his phone. Kailani took a sharper breath in, still rather frustrated by the events of the night and what Anthony had done.

"Hey, are you guys by any chance nearby - we have a situation that we would like a brilliant perspective of, I will explain when you get here," River hung up the phone with Francis again, and looked towards Bast and Kailani. "They are in the area, they will meet us downstairs," Kailani nodded a little exhaling a bit, knowing it meant the secret hideout. "Delphine is here," she looked up from the phone and let River walk downstairs, just looking at Bast for a second longer before turning to walk downstairs as well.

Bast shrugged, looking towards River to see what he thought about all of this. Like anything else, you were never really sure what the man wanted before he was on his way. Which was the only reason why Bast hadn’t done anything himself, because if he were being honest, he would have been half on his way to southside, making sure that Anthony would never be showing his ugly soul on this planet. The same was going for that harlot of his.
“Right”, he mumbled, getting up from the couch drowning the last of his glass, looking towards Kai as she announced that Delphine was here; his eyes narrowed for a moment before walking past her and downstairs. Looking towards Orion, and then the door opened, and the beautiful blond woman stepped inside. Placing a lolly in her mouth, a smirk formed over her lips. “I heard that someone had ordered some chaos?” she said, walking towards Orion making small skips on her way, noticing in the corner just how someone had been lucky the entire night; with a slight dip in her eyes, she turned it around. Old habits died hard, she guessed.
“So seems like we are finally putting Anthony in his place?” she asked, turning the lolly around before pulling it out, looking towards River, Bast and her sister coming down from upstairs. "About time"

Getting down the stairs, allowing herself to grab her fingers around Bast's arm for just a moment while walking down. Kailani could see her sister stepping into the casino being greeted by Orion, who looked at her with a big smile. "Wouldn't dream of getting into chaos without you my love, I know how much you adore the matter," the demon mused a little giving the siren a little wink. "Good to see you Delp," Kailani walked closer to the bar and nodded. "That's the plan," Kailani chuckled a little dry and licked her lips with a nod. Because it was about time that Anthony needed to be put to a rest. Enough was enough. He had tried to sit at the big kids table, and failed beyond repair. "Now we just wait for the Phoenix brothers," River turned his eyes towards Penelope, "will you be a doll and send them downstairs when they get here? -- You will know who they are when they show up," he asked the human with a small smile, it was a serious matter after all.

Then he made a gesture to the others to follow him to their secret hideout, because they didn't need any curious ears for this. But if anything River was more than confident that with this crew of people that were going to take part of this, that it would be the last day for Anthony all together. Orion nodded a little and then alongside Kailani moved towards the hideout.

"Seems like we have a mystery to attend," Francis chuckled while getting ready to leave, luckily it wasn't like they had more than what five minutes to the casino from where they were. There was something about the call though that made Francis aware that this was a very serious situation, which to be fair just sparked his interest by a hundred. "Lets get going."

Delphine scrunched her nose and made a playful shove against his arm before turning towards her sister, whom she happily gave a quick hug before turning towards Bast. “Seems like broody and moody are joining us tonight; hello Bast, treating my sister right?” she hummed, lifting her chin a little; Bast closed his eyes, clearly using the time to calm himself with a deep breath before he grunted and then turned and walked with River towards the room where they would be able to talk freely.
“Yee got it, boss”, Penelope said with a big smile, looking at the sister of Kailani. There had to be something in those waters they had been born in because she had never seen such beautiful humans before. Then she reminded herself that they weren’t humans, which might be the most significant factor of their beauty. Not only were their bodies beautiful, but the aura was alluring. Or something like that; she hadn’t fully understood all supernatural.

Like any other night, Linus had just followed his brother. Smoking a couple of cigarettes on their way to the Elysium.
As they stepped into the now-familiar atmosphere, he nodded towards the bar, giving the new bartender a charming smile as he passed. Penelope looked up and eyed them both for a moment before she gave them a nod in the direction they needed to go.
Linus stepped into the room, looking at the gathering. “Shit, this has to be serious if Orion finally shows his face”, he teased, before walking a straight line towards Delphine, pulling her into a little too familiar hug before spinning her around, whispering something in her ear that earned him a slap across the cheek that only made him laugh before turning towards the gathering. “So, what do you need our help for?” he asked, putting a new cigarette between his lips and lighting it with his finger.

Orion turned his head a little bit when he saw Linus and Francis joining them, Francis just letting out a small snort for his brother when Delphine slapped him across the face. Kailani let out a small sigh and ran her hand through her hair. "We are going to take down Anthony, for good - he has been crossing a lot of lines lately, but tonight he crossed the line," River clicked his tongue a little bit and Orion took a sharper breath in. "Tonight he attempted to kill and briefly had success with killing on of our people," - "He went after Victoria, got her - its only because I'm not surprised by all sorts of immortality by now otherwise I would have been shocked. She got back to live and is fine," Kailani briefed because she knew that both Francis and Linus knew who Victoria was. "So, we are adding it to the list, and now its time to put the rapid dog to sleep," Orion added and exhaled a little. "What do you say?"

Francis narrowed his eyes a little bit. No, there wasn't a fiber in his body that liked anything about Anthony, and he had looked for reasons here and there that were enough to give the final kick in taking him down. And hell, if River and his crew were willing to go, so was he. But it also made it right to call him and his brother, which was why Francis looked over to Linus for a moment. Because they knew Anthony didn't dare stepping into their corner, but Anthony was also only a pain in the ass. And on that regard Francis couldn't care less who Anthony's mother was. But Francis wouldn't say he was in without Linus being clear about it too, even if he could help on his own, when it came to Anthony and Calliope, one should be plan carefully. Luckily it wasn't the first time they had dealt with them, so they already knew how to handle the situation.

Linus licked his lips and tilted his head. The smile that had been there before was gone, not that he said or did anything, but he knew that his brother could feel the fire that started to burn within him. Had Anthony touched and killed Victoria? That was the last mistake he would ever make; of course, he cared that she had come back to life, but it didn’t matter right now. Not to the fact that he would wipe the smile off his smug face and make sure that he would never dare to think about coming back.
“Right”, he whispered with a low voice, turning his eyes towards Bast, that nodded, then looking towards Delphine, letting her thumb glide over her bottom lip before taking out the lolly. “We only focus on Calliope and Anthony, right?” she wanted to know before stepping into this. Otherwise, there were people she needed to warn to get out of there before they came.  
“Does it matter? I’ll make sure to burn everything down if someone dares stand in our way,” Linus growled, clearly showing more emotions than he actually cared for, but it wasn’t like he could just turn it off. Not when it came to Victoria. Delphine narrowed her eyes and shook her head at him before turning toward River. “Your son is in there too, so I ask again; we only go after Calliope and Anthony, right?” she asked again, not wanting Linus to answer for anyone since he was clearly too emotionally invested to see clearly.

River was about to reply to Delphine's question first when Linus replied if it mattered, and Francis made a small grimace in agreement to it  - well if anyone was going to stand in the way they would learn the hard way. Francis was very aware that Linus' emotions flared a up a notch, it wasn't something that happened often, but he didn't comment on it, rather on Delphine that reminded River that he had a son in there. River squeezed his face together for a second and let out a sigh. "Why do you care?" He asked narrowed his eyes a little bit. Well, River had no relationship to his other son, never seen him, so it wasn't like he felt personally connected or responsible to the boy. "Our main focus is Anthony and Calliope, but if anyone else tries to stop us, they will go down too -" he replied to Delphine, Orion nodded a little bit in agreement with his father. Now Orion mostly silently unless he worked in groups, there was a reason why his work went so well under the radar.

"We have an advantage in him being weak, I got him pretty good earlier - so we should take the upper hand," River knew it wouldn't take long for Anthony to somehow regain some of his strength, but it wasn't really the issue in it. It was the power Anthony and Calliope held together, but when you looked at them and then at his crew, you could already predict how this was going to go. So from there to get the plan up running, it didn't took long before the drive to Southside was on.

Delphine narrowed her eyes and folded her lips into a thin line as River asked why she cared. It was true; she usually never really thought about the consequences of her actions, nor did she care who was hurt in the process of her having fun. But Cyrus was something else, and she didn’t want any harm to come to him. It had always been funny to her how River could care for one son and be so indifferent to all the other children he had helped bring into this world.
“Fine”, she mumbled, putting her candy back into her mouth and shook her head lightly. She wished that she was able to send Cyrus a warning, but she couldn’t compromise their mission on him, maybe against his will, spill something to Calliope. She had a way of knowing things, after all. “It shouldn’t be hard to find the weak link in their group, given that most of the people who follow Anthony and Calliope do it out of fear and not devotion”, she mentioned, looking a little bored at this point. “So, are we going, or just going to talk about it all day?” she asked, moving some of her hair behind her ear, giving River a restrained smile before letting her eyes glide towards Bast and her sister. This was not going to be pretty, but she would rather just get it over with. “Besides, I have a big concert tomorrow, and I need to get some sleep in” this time, a more genuine smile formed over her lips as she redirected her gaze towards the man leading this little revolution.

Kailani nodded a little bit to her sister, it shouldn't be hard get people to stand out of their way, fear was not enough to keep a group together or it was but only worked for a short amount of time. River could easily make people fear him if he wanted to, but a power move of violence or fear was not the strike the old vampire started with ever - which in the end also made this crew what it was. Francis looked towards Delphine with a little chuckle, "well of course kitten," he mused a little looking over a few things trying map out in his head how to split the team to cover all fronts - not that it was hard, it was fairly easy to set up with the resources that they had. "Gear up, and get to the cars," Orion then said once it seemed like Francis had figured the final piece out. "We should split the two up if we can, no way their people will follow them into a turkey shooting unless they are plain stupid," Francis mumbled a little, focused on some notes he scribbled down. And of course people here had plenty of skills with their abilities and the like, but sometimes all you needed was a few good guns and a knife - or something close to that.

As everyone was getting into the different cars, Timothy walked closer by, "how about me, huh where am I needed? Oh hey Delphine," he smiled a bit brighter almost forgetting for a second what he was here about. Orion clicked his tongue a little bit, not because Timothy couldn't be useful in one or the other way. Because well Orion was the one in the end who had made sure that Timothy had mastered his abilities, "just get in, sorry Delp," he gestured Timothy to get in on the backseat with Delphine which he did gladly, then headed to sit in front seat and started to drive off along with the other cars to Southside. Because if they could surround the bar where Anthony and Calliope were, then there would be no where to run.

Bast was quick to take the things he needed, ensuring that his gun was working perfectly. He picked it apart quickly and put it together just as fast and used most of his life being a bodyguard and the other part of his life living in the rough parts of London back when gas lights and not electricity lighted the streets.
Delphine just looked at the weapons and then down at her fingernails. There wouldn’t be a cold day in hell where she would ever touch something like that. She didn’t walk into fights for the sake of fighting. She was there to ensure that everything that could go wrong for the opposite side did.

Luckily it didn’t take long before everyone was geared up and ready to go. Walking out of the casino into the cars that had been parked for them. She had just placed herself in the backseat when she heard a voice from a person she least wanted to hear. Her blue eyes directed themselves on the smiling incubus. Seriously? What was worse was that Orion gestured for him to place himself in the back seat with her. “What, Orion -“ she was just about to say no when she was pushed further in, and Timothy placed himself beside her. Her face fell into an emotional mask, and as they drove, she didn’t say anything at first for a while. But without looking at Timothy and opened her mouth. “Touch me with those greasy fingers of yours, and I’ll make sure that you have worse luck than Donald Duck”, she growled, stiffly looking at Orion’s neck. Hopefully, they would be there soon; just the fact that she was sitting this close to Timothy meant she needed a full two-hour bath when she got home.  

Kailani picked up a gun and made sure to get ready before sitting in the car, unlike her sisters who her parents for some reason had not forced to fight their different wars and the like, Kailani had never been shield from the battle fields in her time. It didn't mean she judged Delphine for not picking up a weapon, because they were also plenty of people who did so, and besides she was feeling like luck truly was on their side.

Timothy turned his head towards Delphine looking at her for a second in the silence, not that he minded it. Because well he liked to appreciate the beauty before him, like he countless of times told Kailani whenever he saw her. "What - I didn't even," Timothy shook his head a little, "have I told you yet how much I've missed you?" He chuckled a little taking his eyes off her and looked out the window. Yes, Timothy flirted with the two sisters as if it was how he stayed alive, but he also knew very well that they didn't appreciate it, anyway it wasn't like he thought his luck would ever turn, at least he had given up with Kailani ages ago, she was so devoted to Bast that he would be surprised if anyone had luck. "Just don't make me regret this, okay?" Orion spoke from the driverseat to Timothy as they headed towards Southside, following the other car.

River sitting in the back of the car Bast drove, with Francis and Linus on the back seat, he looked at the  Francis who readjusted a few things, handing Linus the notes to let him go over them, making sure that it would turn out fine. Well, not because Francis didn't do things on impulse, but once he had started planning it was sometimes hard not to make sure it was going to run smoothly. "Brace yourselves boys we will be there soon enough --," she moved her eyes towards the window seeing how they crossed onto the border of Souhtside.

“And have I told you to fall in a ditch?” she said, turning her eyes towards Timothy giving him a brilliant smile that quickly faltered again “, but it seems like neither of us is going to get our wishes”, she mumbled, letting her elbow find the small curve by the windshield. Her eyes shortly moved to Orion as he spoke, making a small huff through her nose but not really saying anything to it.

Linus took the paper his brother handed him and then went through his different weapons. Not that he needed them, but there was just something about holding a gun that made you feel invincible. There had to be a reason why the Americans wouldn’t let go of their right to own one, right?  
He let out a short chuckle. “I don’t think it’s us that needs to brace ourselves; Anthony has been pushing his luck too long,” he mumbled, knowing that Francis hadn’t told any other than the close to them that he had three daughters. One of them was being seen as an object of interest to Anthony. It wasn’t like Linus still understood that his brother had no one but three daughters. But family was family – and if there was one rule that they lived by, things turned personal when you touched people they cared for or shared blood with.

"Kids kids, don't act up on the back seat please," Orion let out a small sigh and drove into the grounds of Southside, taking a turn different than the car in front of them because there was plenty of ways to get around in Southside - and this was how they got most element of surprise not because they needed it.

Kailani let out a little chuckle, knowing what he meant, because she agreed. One should have thought that Anthony would have learned from last time he showed his ass at the casino that he shouldn't try anything stupid, and yet here they were. But it also seemed like things were a bit more personal regarding whatever went on with the Phoenix brothers and Anthony, not that she was going to dig into it. And as much as she wanted to rip Anthony to pieces herself, she had a feeling that she wasn't going to be the first one in the queue to it. "And here we are," she exhaled a little being able to see the bar not far from where they were driving.

Francis packed his papers back and let out a small huff, because well he had building up for this, giving Linus a small nod, then getting out of the car and looked around them taking in the cold spring air. After Linus had told him in the beginning of last month that Anthony was in town, Francis had been on a hunt for information on what the idiot was doing, only coming to information that irritated him so badly, because then he asked around and by that had come by how Anthony had treated one of his daughters. What was it with that guy and locking women in when he couldn't control them. He knew that was how he had tried to do Victoria too when taking over this otherwise lovely place. Francis exhaled feeling the anger brush against the surface. Looking at the other car parking on the other side of the building, where Orion, Timothy and Delphine stepped out.

Linus rolled his shoulders back as he looked at the serpents’ headquarters. Now, there was a matter of how to make an entrance. He looked towards Francis, giving him a small smile before looking toward River, Kailani and Bast. “Now, we’ll make a fun little diversion; you make yourself scares; since they are both humans, it will be harder for them to figure out where you will attack from” he licked his lips, waiting for them to do as they had been told.

Delphine stepped out of the car, letting her high heels click with the ground underneath her. She took out another lolly and placed it in her mouth as she looked toward Timothy and Orion. “Seems like you got to live another day without dying; I should just start calling you cockroach”, she said with a sweet innocent smile that didn’t really match up with the words that spilt from her mouth.

“Hey, Anthony!” Linus yelled from the outside as he walked closer, placing the shotgun in his hands against his shoulder, standing rather nonchalantly, waiting for someone to react to his shout-out. “We know you’re home, in there licking your wounds like the beat down dog you are?” he kept going, hoping it would provoke some reaction.
Calliope flung open the doors and looked at the two brothers with a scoff. “This is our tuff, fuck off, the lot of you”, she hissed. But as she did that, Delphine slipped in through the back door and walked from the small kitchen into the bar area, letting her tongue glide around the candy she had in her mouth. As her eyes fell on Anthony, she gave him a small smile. “Hello handsome, seen better days, haven’t you?” she hummed, watching how a goon ran towards her; only a slight flicker in her eyes indicated something had happened. But as he ran towards her, she just had to knock down a bottle that he slipped on and fell backwards, cracking his skull against the bar countertops edge. “Uuuuh”, her lips formed in an o shaped form “that gotta hurt”, she said with a cheerful tone; then she turned her eyes towards Anthony as a sinister smile formed on her lips. Lifting her hand, she started counting down. “Luck is about to run out Anthony; any last words?”  

Kailani nodded a little as well did River before they started to spread out. Slipping through the backdoor much like her sister, Kailani instead made sure there weren't too many people in the hang out to call out, and well she was in luck. Seemed like most people had left for the night. Wise choice. Kailani walked past the basement door, knowing just what horrors Anthony had been charging at made her angry, then she lifted her head up to the sound of Delphine having her fun in the kitchen. Leaning in the doorframe she watched one of the bodyguards trying to protect Anthony and coming at Delphine which was a show itself to watch. Well, the two girls did always have a bit fun with their powers whenever they could, and it had been a while since they had been in a situation of this matter before. Kailani could feel someone walking up behind her another one of Anthony's guys tried to sneak up behind her to grab her, "you might think twice before you do anything stupid," she warned the guy behind her without really looking back. Anthony chuckled a little bit, getting up slowly, "you really brought the whole crew here, or is it just you girls? Yeah, sorry about your friend," he moved his eyes to Kailani for a second before he could hear Linus shout outside and the smile fell from his face by the second.

Francis looked at Calliope who yelled at them to fuck off, he sighed. "See can't do -- but hey, it didn't seem like you yelled high enough, let's try something else," Francis pulled out his gun and aimed, then taking three shots towards Calliope in hope of making some noise. "See, we think you guys are done here -- so there is really only one way this will go," Francis announced and clicked his tongue a little.
River standing behind Calliope and then grabbing the back of her head before pushing her out of the house. "Sorry love, but things got a bit personal," he let out a sigh looking at one of the people he had used to love, but yet not enough to even thinking about staying in the long run.

Anthony heard the shooting outside and moved to turn around, because he knew Calliope was out there, but he was also realizing that he couldn't get away from the situation he was standing in.

Delphine walked a little closer to see the wounds inflicted on the human. Licking her lips as she could smell the blood. It had been a while since she had had a man for dinner. But she theorised that if she just ate Anthony, there would be many people that would be upset.
“Oh, there it is”, she mused as the smile disappeared on his smug face. “You hear that? That was Calliope’s luck that ran out – too sad when someone is that devoted, the queen has to fall with the king,” she mumbled, grabbing his chin gently between her fingers. “Now, it isn’t my place to end your life, but I’ll make sure to take a front-row seat when it happens”, she mumbled, pushing his face away from her and turning towards her sister. “Seems deader this place than I remember it; things must have taken a turn for the worse since the guest of honour took over?” she asked with a teasing grin.

Now under normal circumstances, she would have been able to evade the bullets, but they hit her, every one of them. A groan left her as her knees buckled just as someone grabbed her by the head and pushed her out.
Her head turned to look at River and snarled at him. “Funny coming from you”, she whispered, coughing up the blood piling in her mouth. She had already outlived her life ones, given that Rebekah had killed her just a couple of months prior. They should never have come back; they should have stayed and could have been happy. But she also knew that it was against Anthony’s nature just to sit idly by.
Linus looked at the woman that was lying on the ground now. “That was almost too easy”, he grunted, and as he walked past her to get inside, he sparked some flames that started travelling over the human. She started screaming in agony. Was it a little too much? Maybe, did he care? No.
“Knock, knock, anyone home?” Linus called out as he stepped into the room where the two ladies were already waiting. “You really picked the wrong person and day to kill someone,” he said with an icy tone of voice, which was the ultimate paradox with how warm he was feeling at this very moment.

Anthony didn't like this. But since when had he ever been the one to run away when things seemed bad, no, this was not the end. "Yeah, no kidding. Southside has never been in worse hands than it is now," Kailani replied looking at her sister then at Anthony. However, Anthony, he believed it wasn't the end, even as he could hear Calliope's scream echo in his ear outside and he turned to get out, but his luck too started to slip making him unable to focus on using his abilities, so when he turned to go out the door and took a step back by Linus stepping in. But was Anthony a man who knew when to shut up? No, he wasn't and he knew by now his time was coming. "Oh, did I hit a nerve?" Anthony took a deeper breath in and kept his eyes locked with the shapeshifter.  "I was a shame really, such pretty face -" he exhaled a little bit. Kailani looked towards Delphine for a moment feeling how the temperature was rising, which was a time for the sirens to take a step back, because no chance in hell that Kailani wanted to end up like smoked salmon.

River sighed a bit looking over at Francis who kept his eyes on the flames that were slowly eating up the human, so he kept the fire going his brother had started letting the flames chain her to the ground. River took a sharper breath in and narrowed his eyes a little bit. "Any last words?" River then asked looking towards Calliope again, then bending down as Francis made sure the flames didn't even as much as brush against the vampire. Once her words were spoken, his hand pierced through the hand of Calliope's chest to grab his hand around her heart and then he ripped it out. Exhaling a little bit as he then got up and dropped the heart next to her. He licked his lips a little bit keeping his eyes on the now dead body on the ground. Signaling to Francis to burn the body, making sure there was nothing more than the ashes being taken by the wind.


Orion and Timothy more or less just kept guard making sure that nothing that could surprise them got close. And Timothy searched around while Orion stayed with the cars being able to see the fire from where he stood. Knowing things by now were going as planned. Or so they were till he felt the burning sensation in his back and turned around seeing the angel who looked - just like him standing there. Azrael grabbed the demon and placed a hand before his mouth, not really saying much to the demon before killing him and walking away again.

Linus let his gaze fall for a moment as a smile appeared on his lips, but as he looked up, it had disappeared again. “No, Anthony, you didn’t hit a nerve” he reached out and grabbed him by his throat, letting his hand cradle the back of his head so he could get out of his grip. His thumb and index finger started to press down on the airways. “You shot over your mark”, he hissed in his ear, keeping the firm grip, not even satisfying Anthony by killing him the old-fashioned way. Either by shooting him or burning him alive. No, he wanted to be up close, look into his eyes as the lack of oxygen would slowly close down his brain. Making him struggle until there was nothing left for him to do but accept his fate and die.

Calliope breathed sharply through the pain as she locked eyes with River as he asked if there were any last words. Her smile formed. “Death is only the beginning”, she whispered before her heart once again was ripped out of her chest and her body scattered in the wind.

Delphine, that had watched how Linus was squeezing the life out of Anthony, turned and walked into the bar so she could grab a bottle of the finest whiskey that there was. Throwing away the tiny piece of plastic that the lolly had been on. “What a night”, she mumbled, then narrowed her eyes as she felt something from the cars. “I’m just going to check on something”, she called over her shoulder, taking the glass she had just filled and walking towards the car in which she had arrived with Timothy and Orion.

Anthony was already weak from the beating he had taken from River, and there was nothing he could do to really stop it. His focus was so bad he couldn't even use his powers and it made him feeling pathetic enough as it was. But the fear kicked in the second he could feel the airways blocked, he tried lifting his hands onto Linus' in a weak and pointless attempt to remove his hands. He kept trying, you had to give him that, he fought for a bit longer than the average human would, till he almost looked at Linus with a look Anthony otherwise never gave anyone 'begging', and then his entire system just shot down, he felt how everything just went away and it was over.

Kailani began her search in looking for Timothy to tell him that the job was done, when she heard something. She looked at Orion, "you scared me there for a second," she placed a hand against her chest, then realizing by the second it wasn't Orion. "Azrael," she took a sharper breath in, but before she could really say more the archangel had grabbed her by the throat and lifted her up, "your little friend Levi is running around in Athena thinking he can hide from me, so if you see him, remind him that I don't like games," he squeezed a little harder before he then just dropped the siren again. Kailani gasped for air leaning against the nearest tree, just letting her hand find her now bruised throat, looking at Azrael. Now Kailani hadn't been in touch with Levi for thousands of years, only seen him once since, but she wasn't surprised the archangels were tired of his games, even she was. Then she turned around heading back to the group a little lightheaded.

River looked up and pressed his brows together, having nodded to Delphine who called she would check things out. Then he pressed his brows a bit more together by Kailani stepping out of the forest looking rather pale, Francis too got up on his feet wondering what was going on. "You alright?" River called after Kailani who nodded followed by a few coughs.

When the life finally disappeared in Anthony’s eyes, Linus dropped the body to the ground and let a small, bored huff pass his lips. Now it was one less cockroach in this town to take care of. Now it was only a matter of who was taking over the business. If they could get to an agreement with River, it would seem to be the best course of action. He could bring back Victoria to the bar if she wanted to, or she could stay at the Elysium. Either way, she no longer had to fear for her life when travelling in this part of the area.
He walked into the bar and looked around, seeing that he was alone with the body. Great. He walked into the main area and nodded towards Bast, that had taken care of those few people that had stayed behind, and they all seemed somewhat willing to serve the next person taking over as the King of this part of town. But then again, who would say no to that silent glare that Bast always gave when he wanted to make his point come across? For a man that spoke so little, he still had a way with words.

Bast walked out of the bar and looked towards Kailani, that walked toward them. Walking over, he placed two fingers underneath her chin and lifted it where he could see finger marks clenching around her throat. He could feel the angelic aura as he looked up and directed his eyes towards the forest but didn’t do much else. Then, he placed an arm softly around her shoulders and walked towards the bar to pour her something strong to drink.
But he didn’t get far before they could hear someone shout, clearly coming from Delphine. Pressing his brows together, he looked towards the door as Linus ran out of it. “What?” Bast shrugged and looked towards the other car, where Delphine popped up and pointed at something with tears running down her cheeks. “It’s Orion! Someone killed him! Where the fuck is Timothy!?” she roared in anger, looking after the little weasel that clearly hadn’t been guarding his post well enough since someone had gotten the drop on Orion and killed him.

Kailani took a sharper breath in, trying not to put to much pressure on the sore throat as Bast walked over to her, letting him check it out for the second, before she followed him to head inside when Delphine cried out. Orion was dead. Kailani pressed her brows together, "Azrael," she whispered a bit, putting the pieces together for a reason why the archangel otherwise would have showed himself here for anything else than giving her a message. This was the easy way; kill two birds with one stone. She kept an arm around Bast, leaning her head against him while letting the news sink in. "What do you mean?" River hissed a little getting over towards within a second with his vampire speed, looking at his dead son, cursing a little trying to shake some life back into Orion but the body just crumbled to dust by the touch - which on its own was odd. River just sat back watching the ashes of his son fly away.

"What the hell happened guys," the voice appeared from inside where Orion had gotten back to life, feeling his throat was sore to the touch and he coughed a little, running a hand through his hair stepping towards the door looking at Kailani and Bast standing there, "what happened are you okay?" He asked, reaching out to lift her hair a little bit to check, even if never were one to question if Bast could handle it or not. Kailani just starred, hadn't Linus just killed Anthony like seconds ago?

Francis looked towards the door, then holding his hand out stopping Linus from walking closer towards Delphine and the cars. "I thought you finished that guy," he mumbled a little bit nodding towards the door. Not because Linus actually had announced that Anthony was dead, but he didn't have to when it came to Francis.

Delphine angrily dried away her tears as she looked at how Orion had just disappeared in front of their eyes. As soon as Timothy would show his face, she would strangle that little weasel. Maybe throw him off a bridge and then keep drowning him until she had her satisfaction filled.
Then a voice spoke, a voice that made everyone stop in their tracks and turn towards Anthony, who walked out of the bar and straight towards Kailani.
If it hadn’t been because Bast grabbed Anthony’s wrist before he managed to touch Kailani, he would have. “Yeah, I thought I finished him off too, but that is what I’ve been telling you; the fucking freak is a cockroach”, he hissed, using Delphine’s own words about Timothy to describe the man that clearly wasn’t dead as he had thought. “Doesn’t matter; I’ll just make sure to burn his body this time”, he hissed, walking toward Anthony to grab him and finish him off one more time.
“Stop”, Bast’s voice rang out, and as a voice that didn’t speak often, it carried some weight that made Linus stop in his tracks. The crocket brow told him that he wanted an explanation. “Orion?” Bast asked, not that he could be sure, but it was the tone of voice, how he carried himself and then there was something about the soul. It didn’t seem like it should. Linus laughed, but it quickly died as he saw that Bast was serious. “No way, oh my god” then he started laughing again, finding it incredibly hilarious that River had to look at one of the people he hated with a burning passion every day because now it was his son. He tried, he really did, but he kept laughing all the way into the bar to grab a couple of flasks of alcohol and a mirror so Orion could see why everyone was behaving like they were. Folding his lips, he looked towards Delphine, who just stood there staring at Anthony, not really processing what was going on. Someone had killed Orion, and at the same time, Linus had killed Anthony, so Orion’s soul had ended up in his? How!?

"Okay okay," he said the second Bast grabbed his wrist and then looking towards Linus who walked back up to him like a man on a mission, "hey what the fuck are you guys even -" before Orion got to say any further, Bast told Linus to stop. "Yeah why?" Orion was beyond confused at this point. Why were they all starring at him like he that? Then Linus started laughing and it didn't make Orion any less confused. Francis let out a small laugh too when River got up on his feet looking like someone who just by now wanted to go home. "You sure?" Kailani wondered looking up at Bast for a second, then letting her eyes follow Orion that headed with the others inside to the bar, well she had seen strange things, and perhaps the luck had just been with him enough to make it possible. "Well, he has always been a man of manipulating souls, wouldn't surprise me if he had a getaway card," she mumbled a little. "But I'm the one having to call and explain the events to Juliya," River passed them and walked inside behind the bar to find something to drink.

Orion made it inside and walked towards the mirror, stopping for a second just starring. "This has to be some cruel joke," he leaned a little closer to the glass, before touching his face. "Fucking hell man," Orion mumbled a bit then shaking his head. "This is not funny!" He raised a finger pointing towards Linus and Francis who were just laughing. "You've looked better that is for sure," River mumbled a bit if not a lot disgusted. "I need a drink," he mumbled sitting down at the bar.

“But – I, what, I don’t” Delphine quickly followed behind all of the people disappearing into the bar and just stood there staring at Orion in Anthony’s body. Was this what happened when you mixed the two sisters’ abilities? You got lucky about not dying, but you ended up in the body you least wanted? Then she folded her lips. “Imagine if he had ended up in Calliope’s body” Linus almost tripped over his own feet, and the alcohol he had just taken a sip of spurted out of his nose as he tried not to laugh but failed miserably as a roar of laughter left him. He walked into the kitchen to get out of the way before Orion decided that he would turn him into a stuffed thanksgiving bird.

Delphine folded her lips as she looked toward Orion and shook her head. “I’m so sorry, it’s really not funny”, she mumbled, turning her head before walking over to the bar to make herself another glass. Mostly so they couldn’t see just how much she was struggling with laughing. Because given the situation, there wasn’t much to laugh about. But if she were to guess, it all came down to the situation’s absurdity. That it was either scream, shout or be angry. Or just – well, laugh.

Bast just shook his head and poured himself and Kailani a glass of brandy, giving her a small smile as she handed her the glass before turning his head towards Orion. It could have been worse; he could be gone forever and never be able to come back. “I’m sure a witch can fix your face if you don’t want to look like that”, he mumbled, not looking forward to how Lucille would react when she saw Orion looking like this.

Orion took a sharper breath in and placed his hands on his his, lowering his brows a little bit, feeling like the youngest sibling getting teased to endlessly by his siblings. "Please choke on the alcohol while you are at it," he mumbled unamused then looking back in the mirror, "yeah you get out of here, stupid," he was mostly annoyed by the new skinsuit he had gotten himself. Out of all people he could turn to look like it would be the human they had killed tonight. A stupid human? Francis' laughter dried out as he took something to drink and licked his lips a little bit looking around, him and Linus would do wonders to the place. The entire area really.

Kailani gave Bast a little appreciated nod as he handed her the glass, then looking towards Delphine reaching her hand out with the palm facing up. Wanting to make sure that her little sister was okay after the range of everything that had happened tonight.
Orion looked towards Bast when he mentioned a solution to the issue, "yeah I'm sure there will be a way or two to fix up a little thing. Still feel like I should hang up a few post notes for the morning, 'its Orion don't kill'," he chuckled a little bit then walking over to get himself a drink, because he as a matter of fact really needed one. "So, that's what you want, take over the place?" River asked Francis then looking around. It wasn't like River needed it, and it would be good with some underground connections not far from Gaia - he could see the opportunities in the matter. "It's been in the making ever since we heard he was in town, so yeah," Francis replied and licked his lips a little.
