| LOCATION the woods DATE mid August TIME evening WEATHER warm and bright ATTIRE LinkTOPIC FOR @Teegan Feyrer ________________________ The screams. The screams rang in her ear as she ran, she didn't even know whereto she was running, but she had to get away. She knew that. Her parents had screamed for her to run, but she should have stayed back. She could have done something. Finally she got out from the smoke, looking back as she lost her balance, hitting the ground hard and felt the sharp pain rush up from her elbow. The flames dominating the scene in front of her, watching how her home burned. All the fairies living in that tree, it had been their little village, safe from the outside world. Where they could live in peace away from the horrors of what the war that had been in Wonderland. But all good peace came to and end this evening, as some humans had found them. Burning them out, only to be met by slaughter. It was a complete manslaughter. Ayah crawled back till her back was met by a tree, lifting her hand up to her mouth trying to prevent herself from screaming by the scene and the pain filling out in her system. She couldn't let the hunters see her, not now, but she felt so heavy, like her body wasn't able to move at all. Hearing a sound behind her making her hold her breath and move her eyes to the sound so see a girl shortly. Magic. She could feel the magic essence coming from her. So she just looked at the woman, while tears streamed down the air fairy's eyes. |

| Sariel had been lost ever since Zachary had disappeared from their shared stolen house. She had gotten back after the attack from vampires and found the premises empty. No sign of him, he had just left with out even saying goodbye or leave behind a note. She had shared her heart with him, told him things she had never shared with anyone before. And then he had just left her behind, like everybody else. She wasn’t even sure why she had decided to walk these woods today, but as she walked further in, she could suddenly smell the unmistakable sent of smoke. Something was burning, and curiosity got the better of her. Slowly she walked closer to the scene, only to crouch down so she wouldn’t be seen. She had never seen these kinds of supernatural creatures before, but she had learned one thing coming to Gaia, or Athena, what ever this land was called. Hunters. And vampires on a new moon.
Another woman, who magical power let her to believe that she had to be somewhat connected to who ever was meeting a brutal end not far from her. Was sitting, back pressed up against the tree while trying to keep quiet. Sariel narrowed her eyes as she moved closer to her, looking her over, where she herself was dressed in black and green colors, blending into the surroundings around her. This woman had decided to have some of the most colorful clothes on, it almost hurt her eye just how bright her skirt was. “maybe you should get out of here” the hybrid carefully asked, and slight titled her head not understanding why she was just sitting there, doing nothing. |

| She felt completely empty, like there was nothing around her but nothingness just smoke from the fire. The screams dying leaving it with an awful silence, and for a moment she just starred at this stranger. But she couldn't move, there wasn't a muscle in her body that wanted to move or do anything. "I- ehm," she took a sharper breath in returning her head towards the smoke. Perhaps the woman was right, she should get out of here, so she tried to get up. Using her hands to try climb up the tree while her back still were against it. Slowly letting go of the tree, she moved her hand to her mouth, feeling her lips shiver and how her eyes burned and not just form the heavy smoke. Ayah could barely feel her legs as she took a step to the side, almost losing her balance. Her clothing slightly ruined from the tumble, but it didn't matter right now. The fairy's mind was all over the place, and she once again turned her eyes to the stranger. "Help me, please," Ayah begged not knowing what to do with herself. She just needed to get away from here. They were dead. Everyone were dead. Ayah took a sharper breath in looking back shortly from the woman, hearing the hunters roaming around in the woods. |

| Sariel narrowed her eyes as she watched how the fairy tumbled around, trying to get up but didn’t succeed. A normal person would normally step in, take their arm and lift them up. Tell them that they were save and they would help. But that person would have empathy something Sariel didn’t always grasp even as she had understood it better after being with Zachary. But he had left her, so why should she even try anymore? No, what Sariel wanted, was to kill and leave behind a mess. A no one would really begrudge her for killing the people burning down the forest now would they? An almost annoying sigh left her as she bended down and took a grip of the girl “Deep breath, and then hold it” she said with a disconnected and monotone voice. Then with a snap both for them disappeared from where they had been
Another snap of magic happened, and they stood in an alleyway to the pedestrian street in Aston. Sariel took in a deep breath as she looked around, no one had noticed. For one that had never lived around other people it still took some use to, that people around her didn’t react well on her magic, which had been the only thing for many years that had kept her alive. Because she could practice and train with just what she could do with it. Noticing that only the imagination and what you were willing to pay for it was the limit.
“There you go” Sariel said looking at the redhaired woman “Out of the woods, now, if you’ll excuse me I have somewhere else to be” she took a couple of steps ahead, she wasn’t really sure what it was that made her stop. If it was the pathetic voice, or how she had looked when Sariel had said she was only. “Fine” she rolled her eyes “Where do you live, I’ll take you there” |

| It was ironic how an air fairy could forget to breathe, but she did listen to the stranger that only seemed to annoyed by her. Not that Ayah was in a state of mind to care of the woman saw her, all she could think about was what just had went on. The blood on her fingertips. Ayah looked around after the snap and realized they had changed location, blinking the tears out of her eyes she looked around with slightly blurred vision. They were in an alleyway, far from the forest, far from the chaos. It wasn't that Ayah lived in the village, she lived here in the city in an apartment, because she wanted to be closer to the people of this world, learn more from them. Ayah felt like she was fading away, even as she took a deeper breath in, letting the air in and breathed out once again. She felt like her heart was starting to fall apart, and become nothing but dust on the asphalt. She just stood there completely frozen, she was unable to go anywhere. Her hands shaking as she wrapped her arms around her body, taking a deeper breath in once again, her lips shivering as she breathed out. The woman excused herself, which made Ayah look over at the stranger, but she didn't say anything - she had nothing to say really. Ayah blinked a few tears out and took an even sharper breath in. It wasn't like she was going to force the stranger to anything, the fairy didn't have the energy. Was she alone now? The thought hit her heard, almost knocking her out of the already low air supply she felt like she had.
It was cold, she felt cold, but she wasn't sure if it was cold or if it was just her. Ayah licked her lips a little bit, taking a longer and sharper breath in as she tried to recall where she lived, drying her eyes with the back of her hand. Ayah dragged another and deeper breath in, looking around them till she realized she knew where they were. "I - I ehm, I have an apartment a few blocks down," she replied with a sob her voice quite low. "It's not far," she added with a low whisper, and took a weak step forward towards the direction. Her legs feeling like cement blocks being dragged forward. |

| Sariel was not a person that had a lot of empathy in her personality. She hadn’t really had to look out for anyone other than herself. There was also the aspect about her being able to see the fate of other people. Like if they were going to die soon if they were going to be loved or hated. If good or bad things would happen in their lives. And when ever she had looked at herself in the mirror, she had only seen the bad. The hatred and what she would become. Though she had tried so hard to find a path where she would be the good guy, where she would be the one that would help people. That she in the end just had given up, because why fight a fate when you clearly had no real say in what was going to happen.
So when she walked over and looked at Ayah it was clear she was fighting every instinct that told her to walk away. Her hand found Ayah’s arm before she slowly let it glide over her back and grabbed the shoulder on the other side. She picked some of the fairies weight against hers and started walking in the direction that she had pointed out. “I got you” Sariel mumbled and gave her a small smile, trying to lift the mood. Not that it could, given the circumstances. |
