She had spend the past month back in Hell after Lilith had taken the crown. It had been way more team work than Eos cared to admit, but they had to restore Hell and Eos couldn't do it alone. However, Eos never put words on how she felt or should be feeling - not when there was a job to do. But being on Earth, actually being able to spend a little time with her family - it brought back a sense of happiness. Her job really only separate her from the others in the end, like a hidden master piece placed where not many other angels cared to go. Also, her father had asked her to help Michael out with his cleanse - seeing their father wasn't really happy about how little there was done in that area. Too many unholy creatures. Eos was impulsive and acted on every instinct learned along with everything she had taught with her eternity at the gates. She knew demon nature, and she wasn't scared to throw the first punch.

Michael had mainly guided her towards the Southside of Gaia, but there were so many demon and vampire nests in the woods - just waiting to be cleaned out. Eos had taken the early morning hours to do so, or night hours even some called it. The darkness was not her strongest alley, but at the same time there wasn't might sun shine or light in Hell. The archangel had taken on a whole clan of vampires from the woods, and she liked a good challenged. Even with the taste of her angelic blood on her tongue she smiled, even when they grabbed her and managed to hold her down, her face didn't change. There was no fear to find on her face. Eos had dropped her bloody kindjals blades on the frozen ground. She spit the blood out and looked back at the vampire. "Jeremy, the sun will be up soon - we have to go back." The vampire who had a tight grip on the back of Eos' head, looked up over the forest - the sun was starting to wake up. "Just kill her and get out with it," another one of them said. Eos chuckled a little bit, which only made the vampire tighten his grip more. "Do you think this is funny?" He asked clearly not wanting a comment on that. "Yeah, actually I do," she replied before grapping him by the throat and lighted up the entire area around her with holy light - just like the break of dawn. The vampires screamed up, the ones of them not wearing a daylight ring that were - the rest turned to dust and were taken by the wind. Eos breathed out and got back up on her feet. Once again she spit some blood out on the ground. She looked at a few of the remaining vampires who hissed at her, but looked rather confused on how they should react upon the attack that just had happened. It wasn't like Eos looked like much, bruised and bloody - she looked like Hell. Then again, the vampire nest hadn't been the only nest of evil she had been clearing out this night. "I hoped to see you soon big brother, I just didn't think it would be so soon," she chuckled a bit by herself as she turned around.

ATTIRE: Clothes, Boots, Hair

Remy didn't usually teleport after using his Divine Vision, but this very early morning he had done just that. He'd kept an eye on Eos for a few days, having only recently started to make sure he'd follow what the other Archangels were doing and whereabouts they were. More and more angels seemed to just up and disappear these days and he wasn't about to loose any of his close siblings to whatever-it-was that took them. He had followed Eos' quest and with furrowed eyebrows watched as she took a little too large bite of the birthday cake and finally decided to go in case she couldn't handle it.
Remiel had appeared on a large branch in one of the trees just outside the woods, and had luckily done it with precision and stealth even though this wasn't his favourite means of transportation. He curiously followed the scene on the ground before him. There were a lot of vampires he thought, his eyes furrowing a little. The light chuckle from Eos reached him and he couldn't help a proud smile. She was tougher than she looked and always had been - it seemed that people constantly underestimated her. Especially men. Remiel exhaled softly, his breath creating a fleeting, misty cloud in the cold winter air and leaned back onto the tree trunk to enjoy the show, somehow avoiding the moss staining his white shirt and beige trousers; clothes in stark contrast to what Eos was wearing. His blond hair waved slightly and his skin had a bright luminosity that all in all made him look very angelic - something he'd only recently started to take advantage of.
He didn't flinch when the bright shot of holy light violently lit up the space, but instead leaned a little forward to count how many vampires had turned to dust. A light chuckle escaped his lips as she finally acknowledged his presence.

"Should've known you weren't gonna need me," he called with a light hum, swinging his feet in the empty air under him with a boyish smile. The remaining vampires turned their heads in surprise at the voice above them and more hisses echoed.
Remiel lifted a hand and politely waved at them, the bright smile still on his lip when he finally decided to descend from the treetops. Angels were light by nature so he hit the ground elegantly and without a sound, bouncing lightly on the soles of his feet. His entire character shone perfection, the white shirt without a single crease and the leather boots soft and without a stain; something Heaven did to you when you started spending more than a few seconds up there, he had found. "You look like shit, sis." He commented and raised an eyebrow as he studied her with eyes filled with warmth and affection.
Remiel raised his hands defensively in front of himself and gestured to the remaining vampires, who still seemed slightly unsure as to what on Earth was happening. "Oh, don't let me interrupt you."

"Yeah, you should," she pointed out quite quickly as she kept her hazel colored eyes at him. Eos was aware of every movement around them, even if her attention seemed to be on her brother. She was like a predator only waiting for the prey to make the wrong move. "And you look a little too clean for my taste," she replied to his comment and took a deeper breath in. Eos had been in Heaven shortly before she had turned to help Michael back in autumn, she remembered how it was, the clean and holy feeling returning to you - making you remember that you'd been home. Sadly, Eos rarely got to spend much time in that so called home, so it was easy to forget that calming feeling. Don't let me interrupt you, she rolled her eyes slightly and turned her attention back to the few vampires who hadn't even dared trying to flee. Eos bowed down and picked her kindjals blades up, and breathed out. "Sure that you don't want any part of the fun, or are you just here because you have nothing better to do?" She asked without even looking at him. Eos took a deeper breath in before walking in a fast phase towards one of them, "more fun for me then." Michael had told her to relax, have fun for a change - but he hadn't really told her what fun was and for someone who barely stepped out of Hell - ending a few nests of dark creatures, that was fun.

She threw with a precise aim one of the blades towards the vampire, who set to run only to get the blade right through the back. Eos sighted a bit as one of them stopped and looked at her - she didn't understand love. Love was something she only had found in family, but the kind of love that everyone else felt and talked about while she was here, she didn't understand it - she couldn't relate to that kind of emotions. So when the vampire cried out almost pained because she had killed it's lover, she was cold - there was no empathy. It was almost like the times she had wanted to punch some humans in the face because they were plain stupid - and Michael having to stop her time and time again, because here violence wasn't the answer. Eos pulled the blade right through the vampires chest as he attacked, and she let him fall to the ground. She pulled the blade back out and walked over to the other fallen vampire with the remaining blade in her back. Eos placed her left foot on the back of the vampire before she bowed down to pick it up. One vampire left, standing there scared not knowing if she dared to even run - or if she should just try fight for her life.

Remy stuck out his tongue as he shrugged off her verbal jab. "So, sue me," he replied, a mischievous smile sitting playfully upon his lips. He'd been in a great mood lately - Heaven had really done wonders to bring back his usual carefreeness and rid the boring hopeless mood he'd been so weighed down by the last few years on Earth. He'd forgotten the feeling of weightlessness that came with spending time in Heaven, and had thoroughly enjoyed every second of the feeling the past few months.

Remiel tilted his head, not dignifying a response. He had never liked killing, truth be told. Some other archangels, he knew, found pleasure in sending dark spirits to hell, but he had always found that life was never black and white, and that not all dark creatures were evil. Sure, he had fought in Great wars and alongside the Heavenly Army countless of times, and he had done the job that was needed of him; even when it had meant killing. In those instances it had been different though. The creatures had been an active threat to both humanity and himself. Lately those lines had started to blur slightly, as he had met demons with good hearts and vampires that never killed or harmed their victims, and he had come to the conclusion that maybe, just maybe, there was hope for some of them to coexist.
Remiel felt it as soon as the female screamed. The emotion hit him as a punch in the stomach making him flinch, knocking the air out of him. His lips parted lightly in surprise at the heavy feeling of someone loosing hope in front of him. It never mattered the nature of the creature. Maybe that was why he didn't like killing - as much as the winning side experienced hope nothing like that could be felt on the losing side.

In a few quick steps he reached his sister and decisively put a hand on her shoulder attempting to let his aura reach her in her moment of rage. His eyebrows furrowed in worry, he finally managed to speak, ignoring the vampire in front of them as she seemed to stagger backwards. "I think that's enough for tonight, Dawn" he whispered, his voice ever so mild and warm, urging her to lower her weapon. He firmly held his hand on place on her sisters shoulder, letting her know that the right thing to do was to let the vampire run away, as her entire family laid shattered in pieces in front of her. She would maybe even tell others to lay low, and that would be better for the potential victims. Always leave a survivor, he thought, to tell the story.

It was so easy to lose your way in the darkness, it was hard when no one ever guided you there. Everything she had done to make sure no one left Hell, the blame she had put on herself when someone broke out or worse - the times Lucifer and Lilith had escaped. Her heart was beating with rage, and she was so used to using it as fuel to push through and it wasn't till she felt a calming hand on her shoulder that she seemed to stop. Eos tightened her grip on weapons and her entire body tensed before she breathed out, allowing herself to relax just a little bit. Eos didn't understand the idea in letting someone run, it didn't make sense in her mind - but leaving one alive there was always a chance of them coming back with more people behind them. How pessimistic that could sound, but it was sadly her truth. Eos was angry. Angry at how the demons on Earth thought they could own everything, destroy anything. Attack her family even. The rage still burned inside her from what Samael had done to Michael, and hadn't it been for him praying to Eos that night - he could have died. Been done. It was the first time in a long time that Eos even had felt the fear of losing her family. Since that night one could say she had taken her new mission here more serious, also explaining her killing instinct.

It was ages since anyone had called her Dawn, it reminded her of before everything had ended up with Hell. Before Lucifer's daughter Maelle had fallen, and Michael had been asked to send her here - to Earth - to the prison where the former greater creatures to dinosaurs had ruled. A place that was now Earth, home to humans and even more chaos. "If she comes back with more newly breed vampires, she is yours to deal with," she finally spoke with a slight sour taste in her mouth. She wasn't angry at Remiel, far from - even if it could sound like that - her eyes hadn't even left the direction where the vampire had vanished seconds ago. Eos took a slightly deeper breath in before she finally removed her eyes from that spot and let them face Remiel. Her face softened up just a little bit, and it was clearer second by second that she had missed her brother. Her family was the only thing she had and she loved her siblings more than anything. Therefor, it was always hard not being allowed to see them or to spend much time with them - so finally being able to see them while she was here and they visited Earth, it was like a slight dream come true. "Despite that I've missed my Hope" She pulled her lips up in a little smile.

Remiel nodded solemnly as he kept his firm hand on her shoulder, just to make sure that she'd gotten the full message. "I promise," he replied, giving her a gentle nudge, as she seemed to lower her shoulders slightly and releasing the tension in her body. He had already pushed the vampires to the back of his head, but as always had his focus spread out around him, making sure that noone sneaked up on him; a little less tense than Eos though, as it was nowhere near the same flight or fight response they had in their bodies.

His face softened up, the harsh edges and concerned wrinkles steadily smoothing over, leaving is face angelically calm and vibrant once again. His light brown eyes lit up as he curiously studied her bruised face, his eyes mirroring the first shy rays of morning sun as it slowly chased away the darkness, and with that all the demonic auras of the area.
Not many people called him Hope these days; it was never a name the humans had taken on and was maybe more a personification of his essence, and as so he had never really considered it a name at all. He knew that some of the original Archangels did. Chemuel preferred Peace, but nobody seemed to refer to Uriel as Truth nor Michael as Courage. He couldn't help a light shake of his head and a surrendering smile.
"And I, you," he replied, a reassuring warmth in his voice letting her know that he wasn't upset and every bit as excited to see her. His hand that had been firm and sturdy on her shoulder, loosened up like the rest of him, and became gentle and supportive. Without losing his smile he confidently pulled her towards him so he could put his arm around her in a half-hug. He loosely ruffled her blonde hair, brotherly and loving, and a light chuckle escaped his lips.
"By God, sis. You've been busy, huh? I heard a bird sing that Michael told you to relax and here you are tearing up three-four vampire nests in a night?" He whistled, impressed with her feature, but still laughing to himself over her interpretation of relaxing and enjoying some time away from the roughness of the Gates of Hell. He knew she had never had it easy down there - who could possibly enjoy spending that much time anywhere near hell. The times he'd been near the gates, picking up stray souls to escort them back it had taken him a good while to regain his absolute strength and light again. Even the thought made the little hairs on his neck peck up as a light shudder ran though his body. He couldn't imagine having to spend anywhere near as much time down there as Eos, and thought that maybe some time away from the gates were a good call. She needed to ease into the freedom though, it seemed. He spun them around, his arm still around her shoulders.
"Now, I know the perfect breakfast spot and you look like you haven't eaten for days. Have you ever had American pancakes?" The playful voice asked, adding a light bounce to his walk as the sun seemed to rise faster, showering the forest edge in golden morning light, shooing away the frost.

Eos couldn't even remember when she had seen Remiel last, it felt like forever ago, and it was. Even Michael couldn't get her to calm down this easy, and it was just now she actually realized how much tension that was build in her body. Eos breathed out finally just letting go a little bit, as he pulled her closer. She giggled a little bit, almost shocked her own laughter as she rarely had time for actually feeling any type of happiness while she was in Hell. "Michael is out of Gaia at the moment, so I thought I would do a little extra," she pointed out with a little smirk. "Besides, It's not like I know how to do stuff here. I rarely spend time here like you guys," she implied with a hand of a sad smile. Lilith had often pointed out to her how it must have felt to be the one send down here, and Eos had always given Lilith the cold shoulder back for each remark. But Eos had never really been able not to think that as well, but she knew it was an important task, not everyone could stand in that negativity and darkness for too long. Eos pushed the thought away quickly again, as he mentioned breakfast. Gently she lifted her brow a little bit, looking a bit confused. "I don't really spend much time thinking about food," she confessed a bit on the next exhale. Eos had been in the bunker with Michael a few times the nights where she had no other place to go, and one of his daughters Erin had been keen to make brunch - and Eos was still trying to figure that word out. "No I haven't, why are they good?" Her legs moved to follow Remiel wherever he would go. She dried the blades off on the fabric of her jeans before putting them back on her belt. Eos breathed out. "I'm pretty sure they don't allow bloody angels anywhere here, this dresscode only goes for Hell," she looked down at herself - her skin bloody and bruised from the night's affair. Eos constantly worried about disappointing not only her father, but also her siblings - so actually not working seemed unbearable.

"So, how have you been? - it's been ages," it had really been ages, she knew it was a saying people often said here on Earth when they hadn't seen someone for days or maybe weeks, it was nothing compared to her use of those words. She had only been in contact with Michael. Chamuel, she hadn't seen Peace for so long, she could almost not even remember how she looked. "Michael is fine by the way -" she shook her head a little bit and sighed. Michael did much like Eos like to cover up his emotions and just move on like nothing happened. "There is a cabin close by.. I use it for the time being. We should go there first," she pointed in the direction of the cabin. Eos liked being close to nature, she had missed being around life and living out here - had been the closest thing. Also it kept her closer to the demons and vampires that was seeking shelter in the forest.

“That,” he pointed out, a gentle smile on his lips as he regarded her lovingly. “Is exactly why I’m here.”
He knew Eos well; at least he had used to and firmly believed he still did.
He had lost the opportunity to show Chamuel around earth and wasn’t gonna pass the opportunity a second time knowing how rare it was to get the perfect shot at showing someone around that didn’t know just how lovely earth was. Most people saw all the negatives but Remiel firmly focused on the wonders around them. Soon he had forgotten everything about vampires and death and instead lit up in a wide grin. “Are they good?!” He asked in disbelief as though the question was absolutely ridiculous. “Not only are they the best! They’re open 24/7,” he mused with a wink. It had been awfully long, he thought, he’d been this chippy. It had however also been long since he’d seen his sister. After having lost Uriel to the winds for a while and Azrael had gone awol he hadn’t spent much time with his favourite siblings and it was tiring to tippy toe around Michael or trying to explain stuff to Gabriel. Mostly he just missed the honesty and imperfections of some of the Archangels he’d seen too little of.

Yes. How had he been? It was a good question, he thought. “Surprisingly well, I must admit,” he said with a sheepish smile. “Heaven has been good to me. I feel calmer every day,” he admitted but couldn’t help a sorrowful smile knowing that she must have been longing for the heavenly quarters. Stuck in hell. What a nightmare. “Enough about me! Today is about all about you, Dawn” he continued, swiftly changing the conversation away from Heaven. Her statement had him wrinkle his nose a little. He knew for a fact that that was possibly a lie. Michael had been under immense pressure for a long time and it would be harmful to assume that it wouldn’t get to him at some point.
“Is he though?” He asked in a breath, looking a little worrisome. Though he rarely entirely agreed with Michael on anything but Wartime matters, he did love his brother freely and didn’t like what he had come home to. He hesitated a little. “Fine is not the word I’d use,” he mumbled as he slacked his arm a little, still around her shoulders, to allow her to take the lead to whichever cabin she was talking about. "Did he tell you this in his usual Michael-manner or is he actually?" He asked with a light chuckle. Michael was one big hard shell to crack open.

They’re open 24/7, she narrowed her eyes a little bit clearly not following his words, but her face seemed to light a bit up, so at least she was following his excitement. "I don't know why that number means so much to you, but I'm just going with it," she nodded to confirm she was in on the idea. Eos hadn't felt calm in ages, and this was the calmest she had felt in forever if not since the day before Lucifer had been sent to Hell - which was a long time ago. The only few times she actually had been on Earth was awfully short and she rarely got to spend too much time in Heaven, being exposed to so much dark energy in Hell it wasn't even a pleasant feeling being in Heaven anymore. She was just happy that Remiel was well if anything she was happy when her siblings were well. "I'm glad to hear that," she replied with a smile that by now actually managed to reach her eyes. However, it only lasted till the topic turned to Michael.

They both knew Michael being fine was a understatement, but then again she could relate to that sense of fine just well. Even if she hadn't lost as much as Michael had, the warzones was the thing she related to and the darkness. "I thought fine was the most used word in the human vocabulary these days?" Her voice managed to reach a building sense of sarcasm that the pulled back rather quick, not finding it the time to be sarcastic or even attempt. She began to walk towards the cabin, feeling oddly calmer for every step and she theorized that Remiel the reason for that. "He prayed to me.. to come get him away from Samael.. Remy.. I've never seen him like that before." She confessed with a sense of fear in her voice, but also guilt. Samael had been locked away with Lilith in Hell before, and she had let him escape. Not only had Lucifer and Lilith managed to get passed her too many times, but Samael who had done nothing but torment her family - especially Michael. She couldn't help blaming herself for not being able to keep him locked up. "Samael was lucky not being there.. otherwise I would have dragged him by the hair back to Hell," she mumbled to herself and breathed angrily out. If it hadn't been for the calming presence of Remiel, she most likely would have kicked a few trees on her way.

Time in Hell was different from being up here, in Hell everything went so fast and time a year there was only days on Earth - a system their dear father had installed, perhaps to torture souls longer. They finally made it to the little cabin, it wasn't locked or anything. Eos didn't really own anything but spare clothing that Erin had provided her. Michael had let her stay in the bunker for some time and she knew she was welcome there, but she worked better on her own - or that was how she was used to work at least. She took a few steps closer in, finally releasing herself from his arm to take her jacket off. The tank top underneath showed the massive collection of scars on her back as well as her arms. In Hell you didn't have time to call upon anyone to heal you, you let your scars heal by themselves - the first few years she had prayed to Raphael to come to help her, but in the end she had survived without. "I would say feel at home.. but, I know it’s not really very home," she chuckled a bit to herself before she walked out to the bathroom. She was rather quick at washing the blood of her face and her skin, getting the bite from her neck covered up and getting in some less dirty and bloody clothing. Eos was quite simple, and Erin had told her to just dress in black if she wanted to blend in - so she did. Black top, black jeans and a black jacket. "I'm ready to go," she gave Remiel a quick smile.

Remy had to remind himself that his sister didn't know human slang. If 24/7 was even considered a slang still. He couldn't help a lighthearted chuckle and shook his head at his own stupidity. He let the comment slide without further explanation, wanting to wait until they got there to reveal what the mystery number and what they meant.
He prayed to me, to come get him away from Samael.
The bounce in his walk disappeared by the words. Remiel shuttered uncomfortably by the mere mention of the name. He was still hard on himself for allowing Samael back into their dimension and thoroughly disappointed that their trap hadn't entirely worked. He knew, of course, of the Anti-Christ hunting angels because he felt some twisted form for joy in making them fall and corrupting them and just like Michael and the rest of his siblings he was in a constant state of wanting to hunt him down to get him back to hell. As they had done before. He knew that Eos was beating herself up over his escape and he gently squeezed her as she spoke, trying to push his aura through to her to make sure she wouldn't blame her self too harshly. He swallowed through clenched teeth.
"I didn't know that was you," he replied with a voice much lower and more serious than before. He knitted his eyebrows and looked at her apologetically. She could have been captured and suffered so much more and the thought made him breathe in sharply. Curse Samael. Curse Lilith. Curse them all for making his siblings feel pain. Michael had been through enough and deserved peace and tranquility. Samael hunting his children and his siblings was the lowest anyone could go. He shook his head in disgust as he followed her determined steps through the crunchy forest floor. "We have to do something," he muttered, still clenching his teeth in anger. "It can't keep going on like this."

Remy let her untangle herself from him but kept her eyes on her as they entered the cabin. It wasn't much, not at all, but somehow reminded him of his first solitary years after having decided to live on Earth before he had realised he could allow himself pleasantries without feeling guilty about it. It managed to pry his face with a soft smile.
Her scars glistened in the dim light making them look nearly silver but they didn't make him flinch. Instead his eyes shone a little brighter, proudly regarding her strength. He was no big fighter; of course he was highly skilled and very capable, but he took no joy or pride in it. That didn't mean he couldn't take pride in other's that were. He had helped train with her and knew exactly how good she was. She would floor him in a second. The thought made him chuckle lightly as she came back out.
"You'll never be ready for the grand experience I'm about to give you," he mused cheekily and formally held his arm out allowing her to grab onto it if she wanted, before they would walk back out the door. They would have to teleport, and since she didn't know the place it was easier if she hung onto him anyway.
He sent her a bright smile.
Then he teleported.

It was too early for it to be busy on the streets but he did aim for a rather dark alley, to make sure their sudden appearance wouldn't scare a random passer-byer. The sun had started to peak through the fresh morning air, colouring the sky pink and purple above the tall buildings surrounding them.
"Welcome to Nia's Nook!" He exclaimed dramatically, dragging her around the corner of the alley to end up in front of a classic American style diner. The tiny pancake-house was run by an American lady called Nia and even though the streets were fairly empty the café buzzed with chatter, already filled with early birds and construction workers.

Eos couldn't recall the last time she had been excited about anything, and the warm sensation made her smile. It was also a long time since she actually had done something that wasn't mixed up with work, so a slight nervous but excited for whatever he was about to show her. Eos smiled at him as he held his arm out before grabbing it, ready for a little bit of adventure. "Then what are we waiting for then." Then they teleported.

This was her favorite time a day, and she had missed the sun more than she cared to admit. Hell didn't have windows to the sun, and spending time on Earth had already placed its marks on her. She needed the sun, the light, and the hope. Eos took a deeper breath in of the fresh morning air, truly cherishing it as the light started to catch them. Dragged out of her thoughts as her brother dramatically pulled her around the corner to the diner. Other than Michael had taken her to that one bar for a drink, she hadn't been out to eat or anything remotely humane. Her eyes scanned the place, taking in every single little detail. The streets were so empty compared to the chatter from inside where likeminded people were up early and about, perhaps to grab a cup of that famous coffee that humans seemed to be addicted to these days. She had tasted it a few times as Erin made it every single morning in the bunker, Eos had grown to like that bitter taste of coffee over the last few months. "Okay, let's do this," she breathed out with an exciting smile looking over at her older brother before they headed towards the door.

The smell of freshly brewed coffee, mixed with baked goods made her smile even brighter. "It smells so nice in here." She chuckled a bit to herself, pulling her lips up in a little curl. It was far too long ago since she her shoulders hadn't felt tense and could just somewhat let go of everything they had carrying over the past years. She felt joyful, hopeful. Eos didn't say anything though, mostly because she had no idea on what to order or what was good, so she let Remiel take the lead in this one.
