A meeting of wonders

The music in Lilu’s headphones shut out every noise around her. Somehow it was relaxing, not listening to all the yelling, the dogs barking and kids crying and at the same time, something else than the piano. Normally she wouldn’t mind walking without her music, but her day have been long and boring. Just being at home drinking wine most of the day, practicing her play for the evening. Lilu was some days prior asked to play at a café, only a few minutes from where she lived, which was the reason for her to be in the streets. At normal days she’d prepare herself to get to the stripclub, but today, was different, cause she didn’t have to get out of her clothes for a change, just sit at the chair at the piano, playing some music for about an hour, then she was free to go or stay at the café to get a drink and something to eat. But she didn’t know, if she’d stay or not, only time could tell.

Lilu arrived at the café and a lot of head turned, especially the men. Some of them properly knew who she was, the dancer from the place they would never admit to visit. She smirked to herself as she walked up to the small counter. The man behind was baffled as he caught her gaze ” Miss Kaloniva… Everything’s ready for you. Want a drink?” the man asked with a wide smile on his lips. Lilu nodded just once ”Perfect… I would like, Wine. Do you have some redwine? Not the dry ones.” she said, smiling at the man, that quickly turned around, looking for some wine he could serve her. In the meantime, she let her eyes wander around the room, trying to spot anyone unusual, but right now, there was no one. The green eyes ended back at the man behind the counter, as she heard a glass being put on the table ”Thank you kindly” she said, before walking up the stage to the piano. Her fingertips running over the wooden piano. It was a thrill for her every time, even without an audience. She placed her glass of wine and sat down on the stool infront of the piano, and slightly started warming up her fingers, but once she got started, she couldn't stop, before she was either told to or tired. It was truely her passion. As she started playing people turned their gaze towards her.[/i]

Piece 2.

From time to time, Lilu opened her eyes, just to look out at the people watching her. She was really admired for her work? A smile found its way to her red lips as she once again closed her eyes and dreamed herself away, into a dreamlike state, where she was fully concentrated on the piano, the sound. Everything around her disappeared and it was clear to everyone watching her, that she loved what she was doing. The first piece she was playing was to begin with rather slow, somehow sad, but further in the number, it started getting more to it, like it was getting more evil, exciting. In her dreamworld she was on a battlefield, just like the wars. She was walking around between the many dead, searching for her lost love, but never found him. Some of the people that was closest to the stage, would be able to see some tears run over her cheeks. Lilu felt how her heart got torn out as she was getting to the part where she was roaming aimlessly and opened her eyes as the song ended. She turned her gaze to the people at the café and smiled as they were clapping. She bow her head slightly and as she looked up, her eyes fell upon a young female, beautoful as a sunset. As Lilu noticed how rude it was, just sitting there starring at the young girl, she once again turned towards the piano and once more began to play. Once again Lilu disappeared into another world, slightly swaying from side to side, enjoying every little second that she sat there, people watching and listening to her play.

What felt like an eternity for Lilura, only lasted a few minutes for the guests listening to her. She was grateful for the people here, that they called her to perform on a night like this. Not that she had anything else to do. As the play came to an end, she pushed the chair away from the piano and stood up, bowing slightly towards the crowd. Her gaze once again locked with the young woman yet after a short time, Lilu would again look away. She had to get something to drink and eat, even though she was quite sure, that there wouldn’t be souls for her to eat, but regular food was always a good start.

With a steady pace, she walked off stage, though quickly getting stopped by some people wanting to get more information about her. Wanted to know if there was any chance to book her for some private gigs. Lilu didn’t really know what leg to stand on and felt slightly overrushed. This shouldn’t be a problem for her, since she was used to the men at the stripclub. She looked around for the young girl and once she got her eyes on her, she scooted past the people locking her inplace. A soft smile was seen on her face as she approached the young female and she layed her arms around her ”I’m sorry.. Please play along” she whispered as she leaned in for a short time. She looked at the girl before her and started to lead her towards the bar to get something to drink. The people who before was around her, looked like they’d seen a ghost as they walked pass.

As thy came to the bar, another smile spread across her red lips ” Once again… I’m so sorry for that. Are you alright?” she asked tapping on the desk to get a bartender over. She turned her gaze to the bartender and smiled ”A glass of redwine and for my young friend… ?” she said as she then looked at the girl.
