Place: The Fleur-de-Lis Sanatorium
Time: unknown
Surroundings: description below
Weather: stormy.
Outfit: Link
Topic to: @Dean <3
____

How the hell did they end up here? It was all still a bit of a blur and the ache in her head made her realize they weren't in a good place. The smell wasn't familiar, she had never been here before. Maya tried to sit up, but she was strapped to the bed with her hands and feet. She looked around, all she could see was the orange colored walls and the small light above her head. Maya felt fear rushing over her. Trying to keep it down, so she could focus on the events leading to this moment. Her and Dean had been out on a walk, catching up on their thrilling summer events. They had walked around near the forest, possibly close to Moonlight Falls when her ability had triggered itself again. Someone had appeared and walked to her. From that moment all she remembered where Dean telling the person off - and then, everything was black. Did that mean Dean was here as well? The stormy weather outside was easy to hear. With her former knowledge of being kidnapped, it didn't take long for her mind to find a few solutions from getting free. Maya turned her head to the side and looked at one of her hands. She narrowed her eyes and concentrated on untying her right hand. Once it was free she could use it to free her other hand and then her legs. Maya jumped down from the bed and moved to the door. Locked. There was a small window, but Maya wasn't tall enough to even get a glimpse of what was behind it. All she could hear was the thunder and wind howling outside.

Maya had to be quick but smart, she knew using her abilities to much could cause a massive lack of control - but she also knew that it was the only way out. She had to take the risk. So she turned to the door again and took a deep breath in, but before she had the chance to move it, she could hear it opened. Maya was trained in the military and  then by a leader of a warrior pack in the woods - if anything she could do, it was to defend herself. So the first person walking in was knocked out quicker than he possibly liked. Maya took his keys and locked the door. She looked around and escaped the next door, locking that as well. The was now in a big hall with many separate rooms. It looked like an old hospital. Maya saw a little coffee break room and ran in there and was quick to go hiding in a shelf and closed the door. Maya could hear some of them walking into the room and she held her breath. They were looking for her.
"Have you found her?" One asked. She couldn't hear what was said from the other end of that persons radio. "Its okay, we know who she will be looking for. Is the alpha still in the isolation cell on forth floor?" the man asked and Maya closed her eyes shut and tried keeping herself calm. "You moved him to the basement.. okay. I will send some more guards down there, we can't have a Telekinetic run around here for too long," he added before the call ended. Maya could hear him leave the room and she breathed out.

The shapeshifter crawled out from the shelf and  stayed low. She stuck her head up and looked at some papers left on the desk  and took them down, reading them fast to see if she could use the information for something. Maya shook her head, useless information. How would she even make it to the basement without anyone seeing her? "Think Maya.. think," she mumbled to herself and crawled over the floor to some lockers. She stood up as there was no windows. She found some nurse clothes and changed her outfit quickly. Putting her hair up into a ponytail and with the nice little hat to make the look work. Maya took a keycard in the pocket and put the stolen keys in her other one. Then she took a deep breath in and walked out. She walked around hoping she would make it to the stairs, following her brains instructions. Maya found the stairs and walking down, meting a few she greeted - keeping herself in character would be the only thing not making her expose herself. The basement cells seemed higher protected. They were in Moonlight Falls. The supernatural facility was like in Eichen House - in the basement. Maya used the keycard for the gates to open and she walked in. Looking at the cells were creatures were locked up, some running to the door aggressively. But Maya didn't flinch, it wasn't these creatures she looked for right now.

She walked down the almost dark hall way, the old laps didn't do a good job on making it easy to see anything. Maya breathed out and stopped when she saw him in a cell.
"You look like shit," she couldn't think about anything else to say. Maya didn't like seeing others in pain. "Are you okay?" she whispered and looked to the sides making sure no one else where there.  Maya had to hurry, the guards would be there in any seconds, and then it would be much harder to get out. Maya used the keycard to open the cell, but she didn't know his conditions, what they could have done to him. She barely knew how long she had been out for till she got here.
"We don't have a lot of time."

He opened his eyes, looking at a wall full of scratches. He had the same drowsy feeling he’d had the last time he was kidnapped. His body was aching from when he was attacked, before they finally managed to drug him with anesthesia. But something else was off. He felt extremely dizzy, like the time he'd lost a lot of blood and he looked to his arm to see a spot of blood through his black shirt.
The scent was terrible down here, but where was here? He moved his glance towards the other cells and widened his eyes as he saw a creature he’d never encountered before. It looked like an undead of some sort. He quickly wondered where Maya was as he was completely alone in the cell. He called out for her, but didn’t get any replies, only some angry and annoyed comments from the other beings. He sighed at this, and just leaned up against the wall while he thought of an escape plan.

He heard the entrance of someone new as the beings got louder. His eyes lightened up as the nurse in front of his cell turned out to be Maya in disguise. Whoever had captured them clearly underestimated her. “Thank God,” he said and slowly got to his feet, resting one hand against the wall. “No, everything hurts and I’m extremely dizzy,” he answered her, not sugar coating the facts. “I’m only going to slow you down” he said when she said they didn’t have a lot of time. “What’s the plan?” he asked looking at her. Seeing that she’d seen more of the building, she'd probably figure out a better plan than him. He slowly moved towards the door opening, leaning his hand against the wall for support. "Do you think we could get a uniform for me as well?" he asked. He looked down the hallway to the door at the end. He began to move towards it, thinking that they needed to reach it before the guards arrived.

"I don't care if you are slowing me down, I'm not leaving you," she pointed out. Everything was hurting him, and there was nothing she could do to remove his pain. Maya was taught to handle different situation, it was basically how she grew up. He asked for a plan and Mayas eyes widened a bit - she didn't have a plan. "Uhm.." she walked over to help him up. "How about.. don't get caught?" Maya suggested with an innocent smile.
"I don't know if I can get you one.. They are sending guards down here to make sure, that they stop me.. if they find my file, and some of them works for the former Umbrella.. they aren't letting me go again," she took a deep breath in, a little worried about spending to much time here. If only she had her phone, she could call for Levi or Ramiel. Levi was already so busy, and she would hate to force him into a place like this in his spare hours. Ramiel was however fast, not that many students knew that about him - of course the slow and always late Mr. West had a cover as one of the Legends of Gaia.
"I memorized the map..  and if there is a way in, there is a way out. We are currently in the basement," she explained and looked around. "We have to go through those gates to get to the stairs.. once we are up there.. we have to hide or run. Maybe jump out a window and hope for the best," she breathed out. At least you had some free space in your cell," she mumbled a little to herself, she still had marks on her wrists, from how tight she had been strapped to that bed. But it wasn't anything one could see in the long sleeved uniform.  "To early for sarcasm?" She added with a more apologizing look on her face.

"If we get upstairs, I can get you a uniform.. or if. Stay here," she walked to the gate, and sneaked around the corner. One of the guards barely noticed him, till she had strangled him enough to simply not him out. Her ability was quite useful as Ramsay had said back then, but Maya knew using it this much would get her in trouble later. She used the same ability to lift the man up and walked back to Dean and put the man in the celle.
"He is same size as you.. ish. Swap outfits, and I will be on lookout - but hurry."

He knew that she wasn’t going to leave him. “But if we get outnumbered by guards, I want you to run and get help while I stay back,” he said, as it wasn’t up for discussion. “I’ll be fine,” he said, even though he had the feeling they’d interrogate him about Maya and hurt him excessively. Hopefully it wouldn’t get to that.
Have you been here before?” he asked. He didn't know many details about her past but it seemed possible with what he knew.

He was usually an expert in stealth but in his current condition he couldn’t focus much on either of his abilities, so a uniform seemed to be their best chance. He nodded when she said that they wouldn’t let her go if they found her file, which was more reason for her to go with his plan B if things turned south. The crease of his mouth turned upwards at her sarcastic remark. “Just save it for when we’re outside,” he answered and shook his head lightly. They still had a long way to go before they could breathe out in relief. He stopped when she told him to stay and looked a bit questionable at her. “Okay,” he said and watched as she walked out the gate. She quickly came back with a guard and put him in the cell. “Impressive,” he commented before walking into the cell, to take off the guard’s uniform and get dressed. He found his ID card in the pocket and read the name: “Matthew Collins.” He walked back to Maya and took the handgun out of the holster. He pulled back on the barrel to make sure a bullet was ready to be fired. “Let’s go,” he said and put the gun back in its holster.
He opened the gate and followed Maya up the stairs as she had memorized the map. The dizziness made him walk very uneven at times, which could result in exposing them. He could hear people approaching and hurried into a dark surgery room, grabbing Maya's arm for her to come. However, there weren’t any windows in here, so they needed to move on quickly. He waited on the two guards to walk by, and first walked out when he couldn’t hear them anymore. “Where do we go next?” he asked in a whisper and looked at her.

Get help. She was a shapeshifter, but it wasn’t like she was faster than most. She barely knew where to run to, the academy, but what if she would come back to late? Maya had lost many friends in her short life, killed the zombie storm. She wasn’t going to lose Dean or take the chance.
Haven’t you heard, I suck at taken others advice,” she pointed out to the fact he wanted her to run. She had done enough running. Maya shook her head a little when he asked, if she had been here.
“No, I haven’t, but I got a look out the window – we are in Moonlight Falls,” she sighed a little.

She took a deep breath in and felt her heartbeat speed up, but she calmed herself down. It was one of the things she needed to deal with later, and she hoped that she could force herself to do that.
“yeah, I know a few tricks,” she chuckled a little light for herself, when her rejoined her. “You look excellent in that outfit Mr. Collins,” she spoke in a polite and almost old English voice. Humor helped her mask her fear. If she couldn’t fool around, she was afraid she would fall to the ground. Maya took a deep breath in and was surprisingly good at going into character, playing the role she had given herself. Her whole face structure was removed from all emotions, like the stone-faced guards they passed in the hall. Maya gave them a polite nod but kept moving along. Wearing heels, it made her look taller, than the girl they were searching for.
“Just follow my lead, I’ll let my brain to the work,” she replied without looking at him. She didn’t want to blow her cover. “We had tasks like this in the military. If I could handle this at the age of nine, I can handle it now. Just trust me,” she added with a smile. It wasn’t because she was sure, she was far from sure - but the last months she had come to trust her brain in moments like this. If she just followed it and her instinct, she was sure they would make it back safely. Maya noticed she had spoken about the military, and even through she trusted Dean with her life - she had never mentioned she was a part of it. Just that she had lived there with her adoptive parents.

Maya followed them out to the open halls, and almost reached the door to the big garden when the alarm rang. Her eyes moved around the area trying to find a quick way to escape or hide. Maya hated the thought of Dean changing his mind about her, if he knew what she had done in her training and in the field. But right now, she had to enter the center of her knowledge of survival.
Go out the door, and count to three. Then run towards the fence. I’ll cover you. Don’t argue with me,” she looked at him shortly quite serious. It was a very different side of her goofiness in school. Maya opened the door for Dean and looked a little back, as the guards appeared. They jelled at them. Their covers were broken. The guards pulled out their guns and took aim. “RUN” she yelled at Dean as used her ability to force the gun out of their hands and took two of them up. She fired some shots, not to kill but to stop them from following her. Clearly, she knew a little too much about. Maya turned around to catch up with Dean by the fence. Her head was feeling heavier and heavier. Maya felt her eyes fill up with tears of exhaustion, but she closed them and pulled a hole in the fence. And when they got out, she closed it again, but fell to the ground.
I need you to howl. I have friends near the woods, they will hear you,” she slapped herself shortly in hope of her head getting back in order. But she could feel the lack of control.

He sighed at her answer but couldn’t blame her. They were quite similar when it came to that. However, it was in his nature to protect the ones close to him, so hopefully their escape went smoothly. She said that they were in Moonlight Falls, which meant that they had walked further into the woods than he’d thought.
Why thank you, miss,” he said, trying his best to match her old English accent. Dean followed Maya by walking beside of her. He quickly stepped into character with a stoic expression on his face and focused on his balance so he walked a straight line. He nodded when she said she was going to let her brain do the work, whatever that meant. He just had to trust her on this. Her next sentence made him look to her side for a few seconds longer than was intended. He wanted to ask what tasks she was referring to but now wasn’t the time. He turned his eyes straight ahead of them, nodding politely to the guards they passed and was relieved when they seemed to move on.

Dean froze the moment the alarm rang, feeling his heartbeat accelerate in his chest. He looked to Maya but before he could tell her to run, she surprised him by telling that exact thing of him. He was about to object when he heard the yelling guards approaching and then Maya yelling at him. There wasn’t time for arguing, so although he’d prefer to stay by her side, he started running out into the garden with his gun in hand. A sniper was pointing a red laser at the ground by him which made him look towards the tower. Shit. He avoided a shot by jumping to the ground. He then aimed his gun at the guard and shot him in the shoulder. The gunshot was echoing in the night as Dean got to his feet and ran towards the fence. He knelt down and looked back at Maya running towards him. As far as he could see there were no guards following her. “You’re full of surprises,” he said and had no idea how she did that. He crawled through the fence as she pulled a hole in it. He was about to come with another comment when Maya fell and he quickly wrapped his arms around her. “Maya,” he said in a serious voice, his eyes worried. She told him that she had friends in the area, so her idea was worth a shot - if not they were forced to make it on their own. He took a deep breath in, trying to calm himself and his heart from racing. He looked back over his shoulder, making sure there were no guards running after them before he turned his gaze to the woods and howled for anyone in the territory to hear.

Her thought echoed in her head, along with his voice and all the white noise. She blinked a little trying to remove herself from reacting to all this energy around her.
“I’m okay,” she mumbled a little and looked up at him as he howled. Maya didn’t know many people, but the different people she knew - where wolves in one way or another. Someone would hear them. It wouldn’t be long before the guards would reach the gate and come for them. They weren’t safe here, and she feared they would shoot to kill - or at least put them in harms way. Maya was hoping the howl would make its effects, but for now - they had to run deeper into the woods. They had to.
“We have to keep moving,” she acknowledged and tried getting on her feet. Perles of sweat lightly covered her forehead and her face slightly pale - but she wasn’t going to stop. Neither of them was going fast, at this point but moving forward was better than going nothing.

Maya took a deep breath in and removed the shoes she was wearing. Running or walking long distances in heels, wasn’t really the best idea. She threw them in another direction of where they were going, just to spread out the scent. She could hear them running, smell them even.
“STOP” they yelled as they reached them. “On your knees or we open fire,” another yelled. Maya turned around and looked at them. She knew she couldn’t take them without going down herself. If there was one thing she didn’t want, it was to go back into that room.
“We are not going with you,” she confirmed looking quite hostile. They clearly didn’t take her words for anything. Maya took out the guns she had brought with her from the field and aimed at two guards. But it wouldn’t make a difference anyway - they were outnumbered. Maya tensed her jaw till she caught a familiar scent in the woods. She put the guns down.

A knife came flying, followed by a few more, with a perfect aim - took out the frontline. A shapeshifter stepped out to the game. @Tatia took out her sword and looked at it a little at Maya and the werewolf before at the other guards.
"I will take care of them, you two should keep going." Her eyes glowed a little red, before she stepped in front of them. "Go, Maya you can take him to the others. We will get you healed," she added before going into the fight with the next guards. It was no secret, that Tatia was a highly skilled warrior, knowing how to fight.
"It's okay. She is a friend of my friend Simon, come on," she moved towards the Red Warriors territory and a few of the guards noticed her. It wasn't only werewolves who had packs. However it wasn't only shapeshifters who lived here. Direwolves came walking across the territory, shifting into their humanforms. It was a while since she had been back here.
"Welcome to the Red Warriors," she breathed out and tried to blink the black spots on her eyes away.

She didn’t seem okay but she was right. They had to keep moving. He got to his feet, supporting her with an arm around her waist as she got up. They moved as fast as they could through the woods but after a few minutes the guards caught up. He turned around as they yelled stop and he pulled out his gun, pointing it directly at the person who’d yelled. More of them approached and he quickly realized that they were too many to take out. He glared at them, considering every other option than surrendering. His thoughts were interrupted by the swift sound of a knife flying through the air. Dean looked at the shapeshifter stepping forward and nodded at her words. “Thank you,” he said before taking out one of the guards with his gun and then turning around to escape with Maya. In that moment Dean felt a sharp bullet in his back underneath the shoulder. "Goddamn," he said and groaned in pain as he kept moving. His face turning pale and the dizziness getting worse, he was struggling to even stand up as they reached the others. He leaned up against a tree, before looking to Maya.

He had never heard of the Red Warriors and looked around on the many direwolves and shapeshifters that formed this pack, most of them staring at him and Maya. They'd obviously made quite the entrance. “It’s impressive,” he commented and looked to her. “Are you a part of the pack?” he asked and turned his glance to a shapeshifter approaching them. “You guys look awful. Follow me,” he said and guided them down a path to a house. Walking inside of it, it looked like a small clinic. Dean sat down in one of the chairs and rested his head in his hand, feeling extremely exhausted. Soon a doctor came into the room with two small elixirs. “This will enhance your healing and fix you up in no time,” she said and gave each of them a bottle of the clear liquid. Dean looked a bit suspiciously at the bottle in his hand but opened it up and drank it. The pain was immediately relieved, while his blurred vision and nausea disappeared after a few minutes. Meanwhile the doctor was seeing to his wound, removing the bullet so he'd heal properly. He couldn’t stop thinking about the shapeshifter that had come to their rescue and hoped that she’d return soon. He hated leaving people behind like that. “Why do you think we got captured? Could've it been random?” he asked in a low voice and looked to Maya by his side.

It didn't take the healers long to get to work, they were used to work in the field of life and death. Pressure was a well known keyword among these people. They were survivors.
"Not like a full time member - I used to live her after the whole zombie thing," she confirmed as she breathed out. Maya nodded to one of the healers when they told them to follow. "I see Simon came through with his design ideas," she chuckled a little and sat down. Maya looked at Dean when he looked suspiciously at the bottle. There wasn't any need to worry. Tatia was tough, but she had taken care of her along with Simon. One of the healers came over to Maya and they talked a little. She handed Maya a cup of tea with special herbs, meant to lower her brains activity just a little.
"I believe after Umbrella was ruined, some of the former workers have found jobs elsewhere. So they might be starting a new Umbrella.. I wouldn't know. But knowing just a little about Ramsay.. he doesn't quit, hell, even death couldn't keep him away," she sighed a little and shook her head.  "The woman who helped us. Her name is Tatia Blake.. she is the leader of this clan.. pack - name if what ever you want.. one of her enemies is Ramsay as well.. and if you need someone to fight by your side. She should be your first pick," Maya admitted before taking a sip of the tea.

"I should have told you about these things.. I was just scared, that this world would.. i don't know, make you see my as someone else," she took a deep breath in. "I like the version of myself that I am, when I walk around in the halls of the academy. I can just be.. me. I haven't been able to be that in many years.. taking you into this - its a darkness I don't want to hide in or stay in," she added without really looking at him. "After the zombie thing, my friend Simon found Tatia.. and I think he fell in love with her.. and stayed here. I was here for a little while before attenting the academy again- yeah, lot of fucked up stories," she chuckled a little.
"They might be a bit old school here.. Most of them have spend a life time in a fighting arena forced to fight for their lives.. Tatia was apart of it, but she got them freed. And they moved here." She gave Dean a little smile. "Come on, lets go outside." She jumped down from the sofa and walked to the door. Maya knew this area so looking out - you could see the house area with all the tree houses and to the left the training area.

He nodded when she explained why she knew these people. It was all a bit overwhelming so it was nice to finally sit down in the healer’s building and get some much needed rest. He expressed a pained groan when the healer disinfected his wound, but other than that he stayed quiet while listening to Maya explain. “It seems that Ramsay has enemies everywhere,” he said thoughtfully. “And thank you, May.. Without you I probably wouldn’t have escaped,” he admitted and sent her a thankful smile. He quickly shook his head when she said that she was scared he’d see her as someone else. He turned his body so he was facing her while listening to her explain. “All I see is a more badass version of my best friend, but all of this... it doesn’t change anything,” he said. She’d honestly have to do a lot to make him dislike her and he certainly didn’t feel like she dragged him into this – even if she was the reason they got captured.  “That sound awful,” he said when she told him about the fighting arena. He drank some water when they gave him it and already felt a lot better from his own healing ability and their medicine. “Okay,” he replied when she suggested to go outside. “Hopefully my pack will look something like this one day,” he said with a small smile, and was impressed by all the different houses and areas that surrounded them. “You know, I keep thinking about what you said back at the institution,” he said as he walked. “What did you mean by having tasks in the military at age 9?” he asked and looked at her.

"They go way back," she had a sour taste in her mouth by that thought. "You know I would do anything for you," she pointed out with a warm half smirk, as he thanked her. Maya folded her lips but exhaled in relief when it hadn't changed the way he looked at her.
They got outside, and some greeted her with a small nod. People here wasn't all like the people you met in the city, it was clear many had lived as wild creatures in cages most their life. But people here lived and it gave Maya hope. She closed her eyes shortly before opening them and looked up at Dean.
"Survival training. The smallest people are the best to send out, not anyone will notice them. It was more for secret missions, now that I know Ramsay had a hand in the training - it all makes much more sense," she breathed out and shook her head a little. "But its fine, nothing I can change anyway," she looked away from Dean and looked around. "I was ten the first time I ever pointed a gun at a man, and fired the shot. Not something I'm proud of, but you do as you are told," she felt her heart speeding up, so she breathed out to calm it down.
"Don't worry about me, okay? I'm holding up just fine," she assured and looked back up at Dean.

Between the trees the white dire wolf appeared, the fur slightly painted with a dark red color. The red eyes glowed and it walked closer. A few people came running over to the wolf and Tatia changed back into her human shape. One person gave her some clothing to cover her skin - now that they had guests. Simon had taught the pack a bit about what was appropriate and what wasn't. Tatia pulled the black dress over her head and let it fall down over her slim body. Then she walked over to Dean and Maya, still painted in a little bit of blood from the fight and some cuts and wounds from bullets had followed along - however Tatia wasn't the one paying most attention to pain.
"You are a friend of Mayas?" She knew he had been the wolf signaling for help. "You should be happy Simon isn't here right now, or he would have been worried sick," the right word would be he would have lead the expedition to get there in time.
"I know, if you see him before I do - just tell him, that I'm okay, will you?" She asked with a smile. Tatia gave her a nod and looked over at Dean.
"Werewolf alpha? How long have you been leading?" Tatia didn't show much expression in her face, which was a good thing when it was a meeting with a stranger.
