She had run from that forest, run as fast she she could, she had to get away, get away from him. She didn’t stop running before she reached Moonlight Falls. At that point the rain had started pouring down. She looked up in the sky, tears still falling down her cheeks as they would never stop, but now they got mixed with the rain. Her makeup was ruined, her mascara had run, her hair was a mess, there were leaves and small branches in it. Her arms showed signs of being cut from branched, but being a vampire they had healed instantly, leaving just a thin red line from where the blood had been. She closed her eyes, tried to calm herself, but it didn’t work. Not even the feeling of the rain against her cool skin helped, she still felt that pain, that horrible agonizing pain deep inside her. She opened her eyes, looked around, she had never been in this part of the town before, it was more poor, more broken. It was not because it was empty, but there weren’t nearly as many people as in the other part of the town, the rain didn’t exactly help on that part.

She leaned against a wall, gasping for air, it hurt even though she didn’t have to breath. She didn’t want to feel this anymore, didn’t want to feel anything. She wanted to close it all off, just forget everything and everyone, forget him. And then something happened inside her, something she didn’t see. Slowly she started to close herself off, shutting off everything that was Chloe, letting the beast inside her get control. She pushed away from the wall and walked down an alley, found a guy wandering alone, and before he got a chance to react she had pierced her fangs into his neck, draining him, a hand in front of his mouth, making it impossible for him to scream.

But that blood just spiked the blood rage that had started inside her. She lost all control of herself, but this way she didn’t feel anything, she just needed blood, needed to hurt someone. And that’s how it begun, the rage that followed, her leaving one body around that corner of the street. At one point she got annoyed over the light from the lamp, and she tossed a body up in it, making it break.

And that’s what her best friend found. Chloe standing there, her fangs pushed deep into a poor innocent woman’s neck, her screaming, trying to get away, but it didn’t help. Chloe just kept on biting her, over and over and over. It was clear she had lost all control, that it was no longer her humanity that had control, but something darker. Blood was running down her face, mixing with the rain, noises of pain being heard from those few that were just not dead yet, them desperately trying to breath and hung onto their life, even though they wouldn’t survive the wounds and blood loos she had caused.

He ran out his dorm room the second he got Beatrice's message. *where the fuck is she!*, he took out his phone and tried to call her, it went straight to voicemail  

*beep* CHLOE!!! where the fuck are you! Beatrice is worried and now im fucking worried!!! *huff* please pick up your fucking phone!!

He looked down at his phone *i have to find her*... he opened his GPS on his phone *this better work..* and started to cant

A puff of smoke coiled around his phone and a red dot appeared on the screen, he sent a quick text to Bea and started to run *what the hell is she doing in town....oh god please don't be hurt....i can't lose more people....*. He felt his blood run cold, when he saw her standing in an ally, her fangs buried deep in some poor woman, he took a step back *fuck.....okay Azrael....relax.....you need to stop her....she will hate herself after this....should maybe tell Bea that i found her and to stay the fuck away...*

He stepped out and slowly walked over. Blood was running down her face, mixing with the rain, noises of pain being heard from those few that were just not dead yet, them desperately trying to breath and hung onto their life. He made a tiny grimace, "Chloe darling? can you hear me?" he crouched down and looked at her face, her eyes were red rimmed her make up a mess *she's been crying...*  he felt a sliver of anger build up in his body *WHAT DID THAT STUPID BOY DO! I WILL KILL HIM....if this is his fault......*he slowly moved closer "darling...please look at me..."

Chloe looked up, not removing her fangs from the woman’s neck. Her black eyes locked on the witch standing nearby, but she didn’t recognize him, not in this state anyway. He moved closer, and she finally let go of the woman she was holding in her arms, the body of her falling to the ground. She was dead before she hit the ground, a horrible cracking sound coming from the body as she more or less had pushed her down hard. There were no emotions to be seen in the black eyes, or in her expression at all, it was just blank. She had closed herself off entirely, the blood rage being in full control.

Slowly she walked towards him, her head tilting slightly to one side, stepping on the body she had just dropped, not giving one fuck about her. Yeah normally she also killed people to drink, it was who she was. But this was more, this was out of control, this was nothing more than a monster looking like her. And there it was, the hint that could show her best friend that she didn’t notice him, because her entire movements were that of a predator, baring her sharp fangs at him in a growl like sound. And then she jumped, jumped towards him, going right for the kill no hesitation.

Azrael backed away slowly, the thing in front of him was not his friend his Chloe, not the fun-loving girl he had come to love, not the girl who had, forgotten she couldn't eat ice cream, the girl who had saved him from leaving...from ending all this pain, that had lived inside him for so many years.

"Chloe please...look at me...please it's me....i am begging you please stop this....i dont want hurt you...but i will if you leave me no choice..." her movements were that of a predator a mindless beast, baring her sharp fangs at him in a growl like sound CHLOE! blue flames adored his hand ready to burst. And then she jumped towards him "im sorry" a pulse went through his body pushing out, and slamming her into the wall.

He briskly walked over to her " she has who has waken, let her fall in to a slumber deep, from now and to the clock sticks" small lights flew around her head, letting her fall into a deep sleep *30 minutes...god i hope this works...and that she doesn’t wake up…because I have to walk back to the school...you better not try and kill me*, he took out his phone and sent a text of to Bea.

He took Chloe up in his arms and carryed her back to his room and lightly placed her on his bed, brushing some hair out of her face, he walked out into the bathroom and fetched a wet cloth to wash the blood of her *puuuh... 5 more to go...god i hate walking...but i am in no state to teleport...* "please wake up my darling..."

She didn’t hear him, didn’t hear her friend speaking to her, pleading her to stop. She was lost in her own mind, lost in the feelings that she desperately tried to avoid. And she jumped him, attacked her best friend, not giving any sign that she planned to stop. That was also why he had to do what he did, and a groan left her as she was slammed against the wall, not being able to move her body, she just yelled a lot of words that made no sense, still trying to get away. But it didn’t help, and not long after she feel into a deep sleep, her body being limp that instant, only being supported by her friend by now.

Now she was laying in his bed, her clothes drenched by the rain and blood, she was still not moving, she was just lying there looking peaceful, her fangs had by this time pulled back, but it couldn’t be seen when she laid with her mouth closed. 5 minutes later she slowly started to open her eyes, her beautiful greenish-blue eyes looking up at her friend, although they seemed a bit red from all the crying. She couldn’t hold it back as soon as she saw him she started to cry, the tears flowing from her eyes as he she rose herself to place her arms around her best friend, burying her head in his should. Her entire body starting to shake from her sobbing. ”I’m sorry. I… I could have… I could never have forgiven myself.” she cried as she could still remember everything she had done in the city, but the worst part being attacking her best friend. ”I hate it! I never want love. If this is how it feels I don’t want it! Please take it away, remove it from me.. I don’t want it! Take it away!” she pulled back just enough to look up at him with tears still running down her cheeks as she desperately pleated her friend, as if he could just magically remove her feelings, every single feeling inside her. The love, the hurt, the sadness, the anger, the feeling of betrayal. She just wanted to forget it all, forget him.... forget Luca

5 minutes later she slowly started to open her eyes, he gave her a soft smile "shhh it's okay im here" he said in a small voice. But his entire posture changed the second she let go and started to cry. She rose herself to place her arms around her him, burying her head in his should. Her entire body starting to shake from her sobbing. "shhh jitterbug...relax...im okay...trust me...shhhh relax darling..nothing happened...everything is going to be fine" he whispered into her hair, and placed a kiss on her forehead.

He looked down at her sadness filling his heart "Chloe..." she looked so broken and desperate, his heart broke for her he pulled her on to his lap and placed her head by his heart "what you are asking...Chloe...if....listen to me...it sucks...your whole world is broken and all you wanna do is see it burn...because the pain is to much...you wish you could forget and maybe then all would be good " he said before kissing her one more time "if i take away an emotion...it will all go...even me...love is more than, sex, friendship, self-worth...it's so much bigger...Emotions are never black and white...if i take your ability to love...even what we have will go..and i can't lose you...because i do love you Chloe...im sorry"

He looked away feeling shame and selfishness running through his body "but i can ease your pain....not much....but a bit...and if it help's i can totally kill him of kick his ass if you want" he said and gave her a small smile.

She felt his warmth, felt his arms around her, trying to comfort her. And she appreciated, she really did, but it still didn’t remove the pain inside her. And that’s why she asked him what she did, wanting it all to stop. Now she sat there, her head resting against his chest, listening to his heart beating, while he told her what would happened if he did what she asked. Right now she didn’t care about the consequences, as much as she was hurt, she wasn’t sure she even wanted to live anymore, or what the hell she did. She just wanted to forget it all. But she couldn’t get herself to tell him, not when he sounded like that. The shame and selfishness being so very clear in his voice. She couldn’t blame him, she had done the same to him not so long ago, when he was broken over Gabriel.

So even though it just hurt she just shook her head sending him just a small hint of a smile, but it still wasn’t there. ”Don’t. I… I still…” no she couldn’t say the word, she couldn’t, so she just bit down on her lip, cursing on the inside over her own lack of ability to say what she wanted. She curled herself of just a bit more, nuzzling herself against Azraels chest, feeling the calming warmth of him, of his arms around her. ”I’m sorry you had to see me like that. I just.. I couldn’t handle it… all the emotions… he… he…. Slept with… he cheated.” it was hard for her to say, and as she did, the feelings once more roamed through her body, letting her feel yet another strong pain to her non beating heart. ”I. I wwasss nnoootttt eenooouugghhh…” she was shaking and crying as she spoke, grabbing on to his shirt with both hands, turning her head, trying to bury her head against him. She couldn’t stop her emotions, they just kept coming like unwanted guests.

Azrael tugged her closer and started to hum an old Egyptian lullaby as he felt Chloe break in his arms... ”Don’t. I… I still…” his kissed her hair "shhhh love it's okay...i understand...okay....i...listen to me...you love him...but trust me it will get better...i may take time...but please trust me....don't leave me....i don't know if i can live without you...so i promise you....i will do my best to make this better i will help you as much as i can....i will do what ever you ask..." he felt her nuzzling herself against his chest. "if the pain becomes to much...i will do it....i will find a way to make you forget him and everything.....a way where i don't lose my best girl in the process...okay? i will do as you ask...i just need time"

He rocked her in his arms, but he instinctively tightened his grip as anger filled him, she was shaking and crying as she spoke, grabbing on to his shirt with both hands, turning her head, trying to bury her head against him. "he did what!!! i will kill him!!!! how fucking dear he!!! " *calm down this is not helping!!!* "Chloe listen to me!! you are enough..you are more than that so much more...and he is an idiot if he can't see that okay? you are the most amazing and wild sexy and beautiful woman i have ever seen...please don't think this is because of you....this is him being a stupid little boy...a child...please my darling believe me " he looked down at the girl in his arms, "hot coco?" he asked smiling down at her.

His words managed to calm her just a bit at least, but she was still shaking, crying. But still it was better, she felt safe, relaxed in his arms. At least he could stop her if she suddenly went rampage again. She hated it, hated that she had just merciless killed so many people. Okay she killed people when she needed to feed, but this had been more, this had been directly evil. It had been the part of her she feared so much, the darkness that was inside her, the darkness she had sworn never to give full control. But here she was, broken and it have had full control, she hasn’t been able to stop it.

She felt his arms hug her tighter as she told him what was the reason for her being so broken, that Luca had cheated. She could hear the anger in his voice, and she knew he meant it when he said he would kill him, and she loved him for it, but she couldn’t let him. She looked up at him still holding onto his shirt ”Don’t kill him.. I … I love him. I know its stupid. But I… I love you for it, but.. Please just.. Leave him alone.” you could hear the pleading in her voice even though she was still crying. As soon as she finished speaking she buried her head once more, nuzzling against his chest. She heard him, saying it was not her, that she was enough, but she clearly wasn’t. If she was he wouldn’t have found someone else, she would have been enough. ”If that was true.. If I really was enough… he wouldn’t have done that.” her crying had calmed just a bit and she looked up at him as he asked her if she wanted hot coco. A small smile formed on her lips, remembering how she had helped him at first when he was all broken due to Gabriel being a dick. ”Sounds good. Let’s be sad emo’s together.” she said as yet another lonely tear fell from her eyes before she once more hugged him close. ”Thank you for stopping me. I already caused so much pain, hurt so many, killed so many… If you hadn’t.. I… I can’t bare the thought.” her voice was more calm, but regret was now so clear in it.

She looked up at him still holding onto his shirt ”Don’t kill him.. I … I love him. I know its stupid. But I… I love you for it, but.. Please just.. Leave him alone.”. He tightened his grip "fine...but if he just as much calls you...i will..." he saw her eyes "good god...fine...i won't kill him...spoil all my fun why don't you"

He rocked her in his arms and started to hum, the vibrations and steady heartbeat helping keep her calm "Chloe...he's nothing more than a stupid little boy...he must be if he can't see what is right in front of him ". Her crying had calmed just a bit and she looked up at him as he asked her if she wanted hot coco. A small smile formed on her lips, *thats my girl...* "my little emo....i will do anything for you...and darling im okay...i know you and i have lived for 4000 years i can take care of myself" a cocky grin spread across his face.

"Now lets leave this joint!", he stood up and took her hand in his, with a snap of his fingers a portal opened "ladies first"

She could feel the anger almost ooze from her friend, his entire posture showing it off, despite him trying to calm her down. That was also why she was happy when he promised her not to kill Luca, she knew him well enough to know he might have done it. She was happy that she meant that much to him, he did for her too, but, no she wouldn't be able to handle it if he killed Luca.

She heard his words, heard him tell her it was not her, that he was nothing more than a small boy not seeing what was in front of him. But even though she heard it, it didn't really get to her. In her heart she still felt it was her, her that wasn't enough, but she didn't say it. She knew he would keep saying the same, just as she had done to him. And finally she understood how he had been feeling when he saw Gabriel with that woman and child, and she fucking hated it. Her eyes got teary once more, but this time it was becase of her friend being there. She was so happy about it. She rose her head, placed a hand on his cheek and placed a soft kiss on his lips. "Thank you. I know.. And I would do anything for you. Maybe we can just run away, forget it all. No Luca, no Gabriel just us!" she sent him a smile that was slightly bigger and you could also hear it in her voice that she was just a a tad more happy.

Slowly she got up and looked at the portal just formed, before she looked down at herself, and then up at her best friend. "Darling I love you, but I need to change first. I look like something from a horror movie.. My dress is covered in blood, and well.. I'm pretty sure I'm more black than pale right now." She said tugging on his hand.

Her eyes got teary once more, she rose her head, placed a hand on his cheek and placed a soft kiss on his lips. He gave her a soft smile and gently ran his fingers through her hair, and he was filed with ease when he she sent him a smile that was slightly bigger and you could also hear it in her voice that she was just a a tad more happy. "okay....just let me pack my bags and we are out of here! i know this wonderful dimension called Zendikar..it's like paradise island....we could go, there...no Gabriel, no Luca....no men....just sandy beaches and sunshine" he was waving his hands around the room in excitement and smiling, if him and Chloe were gonna run away...at least let it be to a nice place

Slowly she got up and looked at the portal just formed, before she looked down at herself, and then up at her best friend. He just looked her up and down and sighed dramatically"fiiiiine....go change....ruin all my fun why don't you...is it so bad that i want to scare the living crap out of people...." he plumped down on the bed and waved his hand impatiently, wasting no time in just casting a spell to change her outfit so they could get going.... she needed cheering up and that was not gonna happen here, he gave her a once over happy with his coice in outfit before going through the portal and into the coffee shop.

She smiled at him as he said he just needed to pack, it ment the world to her that he would do that, just run away with her right here an now. ”That sounds perfect. Such a shame we can’t have sex there also. Stupid fucking witch bond. I don’t like it.” a small chuckle left her as she said the words. It was not just because she couldn’t have sex with him, but seeing him hurt like that, because the one he was bound to was a dick, nope she hated that part too. And now they were 2 heartbroken friends, together in misery.

And there it was his dramatically attitude she had come to know so very well, not that she had a problem with it, no not at all. But she did look like a mess. She just rolled her eyes as he accused her of ruining his fun. She was about to go to her room, find some new clothes, maybe a warm shower, but the familiar feeling of magic reached her. She looked down and rolled her eyes as he had changed her clothes with magic. She stepped to the mirror and smiled a little at the reflection, he even fixed the makeup and hair. But the smile soon faded as she recalled what had happened, she hadn’t been enough. All that confident she normally had was gone, and she let out a deep and sigh. ”Let’s go…” she simply said, not telling him what was on her mind before she stepped through the portal.

Now in the coffee shop she looked around, there weren’t many people at this hour, luckily, she didn’t feel like running into a lot of people at this moment. She grabbed his hand and looked up at him. ”I’ve changed my mind. Can’t we just go back, I just.. I want to crawl under my duvet and stay there forever.” she said looking at him with a serious look in her eyes.

Now in the coffee shop he saw her look around, there weren’t many people at this hour, *good for them...*. She grabbed his hand and looked up at him. He kissed her hair "how about we go back to my room and watch a bad movie and cuddle? Sound good?. He warped his arms around her waist and gave her a tiny kiss on the cheek * I will kill that pice of shit! If I ever see him again or anywhere near her!! I will fucking kill him*. He was tens and could feel the magic crackling in the air...*fuck...I need to calmer down...*. "come on let's go"

She just rolled her eyes at his dramatic gestures. ”Because we already fucked a couple of times. Right… there for example.” she said gesturing to the desk they had used so many months ago. She turned her eyes to the walls that was still burned from his magic going nuts ”you even have the marks on your walls to prove it.” she added sending him what was just a shadow of her normally cheerful smile.

She didn’t respond to his words, no matter what he said it didn’t change how she felt right now. He might be right, but she couldn’t see it as things were now. Now they were in the café she let him pull her close, and felt the warmth of his embrace against her cold body. She closed her eyes, tried to let the feeling calm her down. ”sounds good. I.. I can’t be around others…” she said, having the feeling that people stared at her, even though it wasn’t the case. It was probably due to the fact she knew how many she had killed not that many hours ago. She felt horrible, killing for survival, for food, it was one thing, but killing like she did, so heartless, it was, she felt like an evil person. His voice pulled her out of that spiral of bad thoughts she had placed herself in and she looked up at him, realizing how tense he felt, she could almost smell his magic, she knew that smell so well by now. She simply nodded following him. She couldn’t even say anything to try and calm him down, she had no words to help. She knew why he was angry, but she managed to say one thing, her green/blue eyes looking up at him with a pleading look in her eyes. ”Don’t hurt him….” she still loved him, and the mere thought of him getting hurt felt like an intense agony.

She just rolled her eyes at his dramatic gestures. And he couldn't stop the tiny smile that appeared on his face *there's my girl...i can almost see you*. "Ahhh yes so many memories...my room has never been the same since...and that was also the last i had sex with a person who wasn't....well you get my point"he looked over at the wall and shrugged "what can i say i like to be reminded of all the good things in my life "

He was quiet and just nodded his head while running his hands up and down her back, ”sounds good. I.. I can’t be around others…”, he gave her hair a kiss before he pulled them back into his room, the anger was still coming off him in waves. He let go and started to pace around the room, his eyes flicking over to her every now and then. She still loved him, and the mere thought of that had Azraels blood boiling...how...thats the wrong thing to ask...he still loved...but this was different..this was Chloe....and she was so young...he finally looked her in the eye "i will do my best...but if he does anything more....i will...i just don't want to see you hurt....."

She was a bit surprised to know that she was the last he had sex with, well besides Gabriel. But she didn’t show it. Her face was just a blank emotionless canvas, the pain inside her being the cause of it.

She watched him as he just walked aimlessly around the room, the anger still being so very clear in his eyes. She walked backwards to the bed and sat down on it, her eyes still following her best friend around the room. There was something calming about his anger, she wasn’t sure just why it was like that. But slowly she could feel herself relaxing just a bit more. Their eyes locked as he finally stopped and looked at her, and she could clearly see the worry in his eyes, how he meant every word. She grabbed his hand and pulled him towards her, forcing him down on the bed next to her. Without letting go of his hand, she let the other trace softly down his chin. ”Thank you. Thank you for carrying so much, thank you!” She leaned in and placed a soft kiss right at the corner of his lips, just a friendly one. She looked into his eyes. ”I’m exhausted. How about that movie and cuddle?” she sent him just a hint of a smile, but it wasn’t there, not quite yet. But well she was feeling just a bit better.
