Tea with mum - Elena

Bella had made sure her maids had prepared everything for her daughters weekly visit since she had started attending Athena Academy. She had insisted that he daughter could stay at the house, but had let her live at the academy, when she made the compelling argument that it'd be easier to attend school only living minutes from her classes. So Bella had agreed, feeling proud of her daughter as she left home and persued her dreams.
She'd prepared everything needed for the tea, scones, biscuits, three types of different tea, sugar, honey and a great assortion of jams. She even had a few blood donors, if Elena would get hungry. She knew that if her daughter felt hungry, she'd be a pain in her ass, so it never hurt t be safe.
She was dressed in her black dress, with her red pumps. Her hair styled the usual way, in big waves.
Bella was sitting in her day room, waiting for her daughter to arrive, on one of the chaiselongs on either side of the long skinny pool, in the middle of the big room. It had always been her favorite room.
Elena knew where she'd find her mother, when she'd arrive.

Well, today was the day for the weekly visit. Elena opened her studded messenger bag and checked, once more, that she had remembered all her essentials before she'd leave. Notebook, check. Pens, check. Tablet, check. Mobile phone, check. Headphones, check. Chapstick, chargers... Check, check check. Yes, she seemed to have everything, so she left her room at the school, zipped up her hoodie, and walked outside in her thigh-high, high-heeled boots. These were her favorite boots, and she didn't care at all that the weather was perhaps a bit too chilly for these and her leather skirt. Fashion was more important, anyway.

So she took the trek down to Gaia, taking her sweet time walking along the road with her headphones plugged in and streaming music om her phone from her favorite playlist. It'd be nice seeing mom again, especially since... Well... She was feeling a bit peckish, blood-wise. The school wasn't exactly a place where it was easy to get blood, not even with the amount of vampires and everything else there.

When she reached the house, she didn't even knock, she just waltzed right inside like she owned the place, her heels clicking on the floor as she walked into the day room, where she knew her mother would he sitting like always. And, of course, there she was, on one of the chaiselongs. Elena sent her a crooked smile, as she walked over there. "Already getting comfortable before I even get here, I see," she teased, and winked at Bella.

Bella heard the frontdoor open and how it slammed closed, like it always did, when Elena came home. She smiled a little smile for herself, as she waitingly heard the sound of heels on the marbled floor, as her daughter walked through the house to reach the day room. When she stepped in, Bella sat up, placing her feet on the ground once again, to stand up to go greet her daughter. "It's good to see you sweetie, glad you got here safely." She had reached her daughter and pulled her in for a hug. "Come, you must be awfully hungry.". Bella took her daughters hand and gently pulled her with her towards the kitchen, where the donors were waiting.
She smiled kindly at them. There were three men and two women, all were going to be well paid for donating their blood. And they'd get medical care, if needed.
"You know the deal, sweetie, choose which ever you'd like to eat from first." she said, looking at her daughter and gesturing at the humans. They'd all been handpicked by Bella, making sure it was only the best of the best for her darling daughter.

A small, crooked smirk appeared on Elena's lips when Bella stood up and walked over to hug her daughter. She might not always act it, but she really was momma's little girl, and she'd always be, with how close they'd gotten over the years, especially with the absence of her father. "Of course I got here safely. What'd you think would happen? You know I wouldn't be the one to get hurt if anybody tried something," she laughed, returning her mother's hug.

Elena's stomach rumbled just a little bit when Bella inquired that she must be hungry, and she laughed. "Well, I guess you got your answer there. I really am. The martial arts class today was quite challenging." she commented off-handedly as she was pulled along to the kitchen, where, as always, she had her array of humans to choose from. She never really knew were her mother got them from, but she didn't care. They all came into it willingly, and no-one was going to die. Those were the important bits to her.

She let her eyes travel over all five of them, before she closed her eyes and sniffed a little into the air instead. One scent stood out clearer to her than the others, and as she opened her eyes again, she noticed it was the man who was just slightly skinny and blonde, with pretty blue eyes. Ooh. Well, she smiled and pointed to him, before making a come-hither motion instead, waiting for him to move over to her as he was asked to.

Bella let out a small laugh, as she her the rumple of hunger leave her daughters stomach. She was indeed hungry and Bella listened to her daughter talk and said "Did you learn anything new then?". She sent her daughter a curious smile, she was genuinly asking, she wanted to know if martial arts had proven a good choice of subject.

As Elena chose her meal, Bella said "I'll go make sure the tea is warm, you can join me in the living room when you're done, sweetie." Bella smiled and stroked her daughters arm, as she passed her by and disappeared into the living room on the other side of the hall from the kitchen.

In the living room she made sure the different types of tea had the right temperature, not too cold, yet not too hot. The scones, biscuits and other treats, were neatly placed on fine diningware.

Hearing her mother laugh at her rumbling stomach, Elena couldn't help but laugh a little, too. Her stomach really had the perfect timing, sometimes! She smiled and nodded at her mother's question. "Yeah, a couple new ways to get out of some of the locks. They've built on some of the old escapes and made them more effective, so that's always a good thing. It's only the total body lock I'm still having problems getting out of." she explained, with a small, soft smile.

When Bella told her she'd be waiting in the living room, she nodded, still softly smiling, and watched her mother leave. When she'd left, Elena pulled in the young man, and, with a small pocket knife she always had on herself, for emergencies and also because she didn't like to bite through people's skin to get at their blood, she made just a small cut around the point where shoulder met neck, and leant in to start drinking the delicious blood, her eyes closed. She did notice the soft sounds the guy made, but she paid them no heed as she fed off of him. Pretty soon, she'd had her fill, and the blood was also slowly starting to coagulate around the wound, so the wound would stop bleeding by itself soon enough. She thanked him for the meal, left him with a kiss on his cheek, and then walked out the kitchen and towards the living room.

She was gently dabbing her mouth free from the last couple drops of blood his a paper towel when she entered the living room, and chuckled a bit at the giant assortment Bella always made sure to have when she'd come visit. They barely ever ate even half of it, but she still loved that her mother put so much effort into something as simple as their tea time.
