| DATE | 24th of December TIME | 15 ish LOCATION | Aston park WEATHER | Snowy ATTIRE | LinkTOPIC FOR | @Kieran ________________________ It had been over a few weeks since Sarah had contacted her with the fact that Antionette's dear mother, had once again disturbed the peace. This time it had seemly been to cause Cassian harm, which was far from alright in Antionette's book, who for years had tried to hold some sort of peace between the families. However, over the past centuries she had been living away from that noise of her family and the others, unless they had been in need of contacting he. Antionette had lived on her own in the small town in France, just teaching young witches, till now. Because if all the great families were gathering in Athena, it was only a matter of time before chaos would come, and she was not just going to turn her back on that. So, when Sarah had called and informed her, she had spent the past weeks making sure her school was in good hands - then she had travelled back to the cursed land. Walking with her hands in her coat pockets, she walked down the paths of the park, feeling the snowflakes fall on her face, melting by the warm touch, were others landed in the dark brown hair. Antionette felt the small pull the second she stepped into the park, before starting to walk in the direction. "Kieran Jones," she spoke his name so tender, while a small yet warm smile crossed her lips. " So, the rumors were true, everyone has just gathered together," she hummed a little to herself before stepping closer towards him, still with her hands in her pockets. The sun was already trying to set, Christmas eve, people rushing around to get the last prepared for the night and Christmas morning. But still the city was covered in almost magical lighting from the decorations. "Come on, go on a stroll with me," she nodded a little to the side as her smile grew a little bit bigger. |

| The twenty-four of December. Twenty-one years without his wife to celebrate Christmas with. Not that he had ever really celebrated exactly this day, but the winter solace. The shortest day of the year, and how powerful the magic flowed between the earths most powerful sources of magic. One might think that it was time to get over the grief had been going through. But over eight-thousand years of marriage. Ended just with the snap of someone’s fingers. And not that, a life that was important to a lot of people not including just his. He wasn’t blind to the fact how it had taken a toll on his children. But in his own grief, he had expected them to be old enough to either get or already had help. Seeing Willson and Malcolm now, he could see that he might have been needed. But grief. Grief. He let out a small sigh as he looked up towards the skies, closing the book that he had been reading. Small petals of snow silently fell to the ground around him. Grief came in different shapes and sizes. Some got over it, and others never really healed. Kieran let out a soft sigh, as he felt the slight pull from his heart. He was quick to find her in the crowd as he looked up seeing how she walked towards his direction. Without much hesitation he got up from the bench had been sitting on. Brushing some of the snow off him before a slight crocket smile formed on his lips. “ Antionette Sinclair” he mimicked how she had greeted him. He shrugged and looked around them. “ Like moths to a flame” he granted her, with the fact that people truly seemed to be gathering. He moved his shoulders a little to make the jacket sit better. Before he moved his book to his other hand. “ So, what brings you to Athena, last I heard you were running your own school in France?” he asked, keeping his eyes focused in front of him. |

| She took a slightly sharper breath in, before she started to walk down the path ahead of them. "Well, I still am. But you know, the family drama never rests, and we all know that winter solstice is celebrated the best in Moonlight Falls, whether we like it or not - however so, Sarah contacted me, so here I am," she gestured one of her arms to the side, leaving a short chuckle, because it wasn't really fun, not at all - yet, she had learned a long time ago to take one step at the time. And if anyone knew her mother, it would be Antionette. "I heard about your wife," she looked towards him with a sad smile, "I'm terribly sorry." Then she moved her dark brown eyes back down the path ahead of them. Antionette licked her lower lip a little and took a slightly deeper breath in, letting the silence carry them for a moment, taking in the crisp air and everything around them, before she took one of her hands out of her pocket, and hooked her arm in a soft motion around his as they walked. "What's on your mind dear?" She asked. Grief was never to be messed with that she knew, but she was somewhat sure that it wasn't the only thing troubling his mind. |

| Kieran made a small huff and a smirk formed over his lips; no, she was right. The drama between the Sinclair and Jones family never had an end. Which had also been a factor when Antionette and Kieran had met, figuring out that they were each other mates. That there be more than one factor than just the fact that they wanted to live their lives. See the world, be with other people. Grow by themselves, and then hopefully there would come a time where they could be together. Of course, his older brother didn’t have the same mind when he had met Sarah, Antionette’s daughter. That he had ended up fallen in love with and getting children with. He had to restrain himself as he reminded himself of Niall, and how much he reminded him of Malcolm. “Well, it is nice to see you again” he said with a warm half smile, before turning towards where they were going, he folded his arms behind his back and then nodded when she told that she had heard about his wife. “Thank you” he mumbled, being reminded by the fact that Rebekah had fooled him and had gotten a child without his knowledge. She asked what was on his mind and he turned towards her. “Did you know that Anthony was mine?” he asked, there were no hints of humor nor anger in his expression. |

| They didn't walk far before he spoke about what was on his mind, to be fair she had asked him, and Antionette stopped for a moment turning towards him by the question. Antionette's brows pressed together for a moment, as if she was putting dots together from the past. "No -" she breathed out, because truly had no idea. But some things about Anthony just started to make more sense to her, but she hadn't been in near her mother in that time, she had been helping her father finding herbs and stuff. One thing she did remember was her mother coming by one day asking for help to make a potion, saying she wanted to trick an enemy. Antionette had never believed a potion of hers would have been used like that on Kieran. "I didn't know," she added and folded her lips, "but I think I might have been the one giving her the ingrediens to do it," she confessed looking Kieran in the eyes. There was no reason to lie, no reason to hide it. Everyone knew, if it hadn't been Antionette help, she would have found another way - and with the whole taking over what now was Moonlight Falls, Antionette had believed it was a potion to be used against the Emerson family or perhaps the Mikaelson's. Antionette blinked a little shaking her head, still processing the fact of Antony for a moment. It had taken far too many years till Antionette even had found out about her brother, if she had just taken with her mother - perhaps she could have learned about her plans and stopped her in the madness. But it was a long time ago now, far too long. |

| “I believe you” he said with a soft smile, as she told him no. It was always such an odd thing to say, or so he had always believed. But he also understood the importance of them. Especially when there was so much bad blood between the families. He could easily not trust Antionette when she told him no, and with that he showed her that he actually did in fact, believe she had known nothing about it.
What did, knock him off his footing a little, was the fact that Antionette proceeded to tell him that she thought she might have helped with it. The ingredients to it at least. Now, he could hardly become mad at her, for doing something her mother had asked for. And just like Antionette herself thought, he knew that Rebekah would just have found another way. But one thing he still didn’t understand, was why him. “Well, I met him” he said with a small huff and looked at her as she had stopped up before they started walking again. “he was the one protecting Cassian from being killed, then his friend, Calliope got killed for protecting him, seems like your mother has finally had enough of being dormant and has come out to make a stand and show everyone that she could easily pull us back in to the dark ages if she wanted to” |

| He had met Anthony then. It was years since Antionette had been in room with her half brother. The next sentence made Antionette blink, now she knew from her daughter that Rebekah had an eye out for Cassian - and she hadn't understood till now. She did remember back when Anthony and Cassian had been rather close. Like brothers. It would seem so her mother had finally had enough. "We both know I'm not going to let her do that," Antionette pointed out with a rather serious look. She would rather die fighting to make sure her mother didn't pull out a stunt like that. Antionette also very well knew her mother was capable of doing so if given the chance, or if she seemly was pissed enough. Antionette wasn't a saint, she was her mother's daughter in many ways, but on the other part she was just as much her father's daughter - which perhaps had been the thing saving her in the end for not going just as dark, because every tone had had dark years. "I perfected a potion that will keep her unable for a limited time, to actually take your hearts. I can craft a set make sure you all have one, it should keep you at least a little protected," Antionette closed her eyes for a second. She knew it was serious here, but enough to make her mother go on a power strike - it was downright dangerous. |

| He couldn’t help to let out a soft chuckle. Now, he would never underestimate Antionette’s powers. But he didn’t think that even she would be able to stop her mother from doing something, that she had put her mind to. All Rebekah really needed to do, was find those creatures around the world that shared the same mind as she did. And then slowly but surely there would chaos roaming the earth again. To some extent the old warlock could see it. Things were shifting, and there were people on this earth that shouldn’t be here anymore. Pollution in a level that had never been higher, and if it continued there would be problems with how much longer they could keep the earth as it was. But who were they to decide who was going to live or die?
Kieran’s eyes narrowed a little, as he turned his gaze towards her as she told him about the potions that she had been trying to make. And now it would seem like she had perfected. “Antionette” he breathed, stopping looking at her. “I don’t think you giving us potions to hinder your mothers’ plans will put you in a great spot” he warned her, he had seen just how badly Rebekah could treat her children. Now he had seen just how badly it had turned out for Rebekah, just how consumed she had become of grief, darkness, and power. After so many years? He was afraid, just what that mad woman would do to keep the power for herself. “Do you really think, in all seriousness that openly opposing against your own mother, will help?” |

| "Well," she sighed a little, knowing it could be downright dangerous to start working against her mother. Especially now with her father dead, it had been easier when he had been alive, the two of them could always talk her down, but now. "What would put me in a bad spot even more is watching all of you get hurt, because I just watched," she replied back and folded her lips a little bit. Antionette had seen many sides of her mother, known many tales - she had almost herself tasted the same darkness, it was so easy to place your hands around once it found you. Antionette took a sharper breath in and shook her head a little, "no. I don't," she confessed and crossed her arms a little bit. Antionette ran her hand through her hair. It was easier said than done, what did you offer to a woman who could have everything she wanted with a blink of an eye other than more power. She was afraid what the next power source would be, if Kieran was right and her mother had made the choice that now was the year for some helle raising. "We can't just sit down and do nothing can we, and If I can do anything to help- I want to." It wouldn't be the first time she had a disagreement with her mother about how things should be, and it wouldn't be the first time she would be punished for it either, but she had never treated Antionette as bad as her siblings if they had done something wrong - then again, she could have use for Antionette's gifts. |

| A soft ‘hmm’ left Kieran as she explained that she couldn’t sit back and do nothing. But in the end, what could any of them do? Of course, in the perfect world they would just kill the wicket witch. The evil queen and show her that they weren’t to be messed with. In so many tales it was always evil that ended up paying the price, of course with many lives lost in the process. But good always won over evil. Because in the end, good had more on their side, even if Rebekah had more power. Letting out a breath of air he started walking again, looking down at his feet while he thought about what he could say. “To be honest Antionette” he breathed, shrugging a little. “We can do two things, we either stay out of your mother’s way, and she will one day consume to all the power she keeps taking in. Because no matter what, everyone will reach a limit and it will be a death of her, of course, that means a lot that tries to step in the way for her, or has some of the things she needs dies – or, we have to gather a force that is strong enough to take her on and then it will come down to her life over ours” he licked his lips and didn’t look at her. “And the last option, then there is the question if you could ever do that against your mother, but I’m afraid there will never come a time where you can talk her out of who she has become” |

| It came down to death. Death was not in the cards, she didn't believe so, she knew her mother had tried to find a way out of the chaos and the magic prior all of this, only because her father had told her. Because once her mother had been so soft and kind, she had seen it as well. The tender bliss of her smile, the warmth her heart could hold once she allowed it too. And she had seen it fade, turn into something darker and colder as more witches had been created as more power had come for her to take. "My mother died a long time ago, what is left her of her is the darkness still searching for something to hold onto," she licked her lips a little bit and looked away for a brief moment. There was a difference in being cursed with immortality and then having lived this long simply because you could and hadn't given up. But once that choice was taken away, she couldn't even to begin to understand how it felt to those forced to live on - even when they didn't want to. One way could be to get the dagger, but who wouldn't go mad holding so much power in your hands, controlling Rebekah and all the magic she had ever absorbed? they could imprison her, but everyone knew it would be limited and hell would break loose once she found a way to be free. Antionette licked her lips a little and shook her head. "I would rather if we all could just co exists without anyone having to die or getting tortured, but I've also lived long enough to know that is wishful thinking - but no I do not wish to kill my mother, and for sure Bentley would kill me for trying or finding out that I would plot against them, so -" it was true, Bentley was unpredictable when it came to that, and even if Bentley wouldn't perhaps kill her, she knew she easily could wish he had.
Antionette left out a smalle chuckle, "I wish we could just meet up without having to talk about war, chaos and destruction -" it was he world they were living in. Odd how in the past seemed to peaceful compared to what had went on after everything, had it started to rage over the years. "And by that note, not to be rude or dismissing on the urgente of that topic, I think there is other topics left to be discussed, wouldn't you reckon?" Antionette took a deeper breath in and looked around them for a second, "Like - I'm not only here on dramatic visits, I'm counting on meeting one of my grandchildren soon enough -" she informed with a soft nod. In all this chaos it was always nice to have something to look out for. And Sarah who had thought Alexandra had died only to find out she was alive, that was a miracle and therefor Antionette looked very much forward to meeting her whenever they were ready. "Two of your boys are in town as well I hear? - You know Giselle she is very into gossip," she chuckled a little bit reminding him of her familiar Giselle whom loved nothing more than to snoop around and gather information. |

| Kieran didn’t say anything to Antionette’s thoughts about her mother, and the fact that she had died a long time ago. Now his grandparents had been two created witches, and from there it had created the very long and powerful line that now called themselves Jones. Jones vs Sinclair. It was incredible to think back and see just how a dispute it had cause. Sometimes he couldn’t help but wonder would actually would happen if they were to kill Rebekah, the first witch to step into the earth and create the magic that was known today. Would it disappear with her? Would all supernatural creatures simple cease to exist and they would be mere mortals with no access to the magical energies surrounding the ground and the air around them? Maybe that was one of the reasons why no one had ever really attempted to end the life of the first Sinclair. The sheer fear of losing something they had. A soft chuckle left him, as she stated that she would rather just live a life where everyone could co-exist without wishing horrible things on one another. “Wishful thinking Nette” he hummed, placing his index finger against the palm of his hand, after the rest of the fingers had closed around the other hands wrist. “We have lived far too long, to not know that history will always have a way to repeat itself, which is why history in fact is such a fluent concept” he hummed a little philosophical.
He looked towards her when she told him what she truly wished for. To be able to just talk to her, reason and hope that she would see that the fights and killings had to stop. If it were only that easy. But it didn’t seem like it was. He gave her a small nod when she wished to talk about something else, nodding that she could do just that. “Oh, which of your children’s child are you meeting this time?” he asked with a soft smile, then turned his head towards her as she told him that she had heard that two of his sons were in town. “They are, Willson moved with his daughter because of a job opportunity, and Malcolm – well he just follow his own ways as usual” Kieran explained looking straight ahead of him once again. |

| Oh yeah, there was a few. Antionette at least didn't have more children than she could count on one hand compared to her mother, she hadn't had the need to have more children than she could possibly care for. "Sarah's youngest," she replied with a soft smile, "Alexandra - she thought she had lost her," Antionette had pointed out. Well, if Antionette hadn't been so fully focused on her school and everything going on in France, she would have recalled the curse and told Sarah about it. But it had also taken Sarah a great deal of time before she had made it to Antionette after the coven had been destroyed, by then it had been about the emotion behind what had happened rather than the cursed wolves she had thought about. Either way it had bound to leave a big scar on Sarah. Willson had moved here with his daughter, and Malcolm had tagged along, well yeah one never really knew what Malcolm was up to. "That's nice," she replied there was something about being around family, even if there was only a few members Antionette kept herself close to, which usually were her own daughters. "Speaking of Malcolm," she moved her eyes back to Kieran. "I made something for him, I've been working on perfecting a potion for almost a thousand years by now," one would know, Antionette never had to use that much time other than when she wanted something to be absolutely perfect.
"I wanted to make sure it didn't and wouldn't have any backlash, so it's tested to the very last, but I found a way to give him a second chance on getting a familiar again," she then announced folding her lips a little bit together. It was a thought that had hit her the second she had heard about the chaos that had unfolded when he had needed to kill Enola and stepped further into madness unable to cope. So, maybe it was her bond to Kieran that had started her thought on helping, but she had always been eager to understand and help other warlocks and witches. "Call it a gift in order of solstice, even if I'm a few days behind," Antionette pulled a brighter smile. Not that she had it on her, it was heavily guarded with the most dangerous of her potions. Not that this was dangerous, but it was a gift after all. |

| Kieran wasn’t a man of many words, but with a smile and a soft nod he acknowledged that it was good to hear, that Sarah had found a daughter that she had thought she had lost. It wasn’t often you could be so lucky, to find people again when you thought they had left this world behind. But every once in a while, it happened. Especially when you looked at how many people were either cursed or gifted with the ability to raise from the death. Even if it was unnatural and tempted the fate of the tapestry when people that were supposed to die never truly did. He lifted a brow when Antionette grabbed the opportunity to talk about Malcolm. Or rather, the fact that she had made something. A potion. Now the old warlock was intrigued. Which was why he stopped walking, turning his front towards her. Even if it was still with his hands softly resting behind his back. His brows glided even further up as it was a potion that would be able to give him a familiar. Now, even though it was a great gift, and surely would be something that Malcolm would love to get a second chance to. Kieran couldn’t help but being sceptical. Especially after he had seen just how far his son had gone to try to get Enola back. Every time he had just lost a little more of his soul, having to kill her over and over again. “Is it his old familiar or is it a chance to call upon a second familiar?” he asked, maybe he was a pessimist. But when it came to his children, he only ever wanted what was best for them. |

| Now, she would have been worried if he hadn't asked question about the potion and how it worked, because she would have done the same no matter the magic user or healer if it came to something that could affect her children. So, of course she had expected him to ask her at least something. "It's a second chance, with a new one," she wasn't about to let Enola come back and get a what was it fifth time or more to mess Malcolm up. "I wouldn't play with necromancy and familiars at the same time, besides I reckoned maybe a clean slate would be better than opening old wounds," she theorized, not that she was to say what was best for Kieran's son, far from, it was just her theorizing what thoughts she had. She did have the entire recipe written down so it wasn't like she couldn't adjust it for the need if more things needed to be sorted out. "Unless if you think it's a bad idea to even go there, I won't even mention it -" Antionette also pointed out. After all it wasn't to make things worse that she had made the potion, she had made very few potions for the sake of getting ahead, but also made a fair share. All magic came with a price of course, and there would be a risk that the familiar could get killed by any natural means - and then the trauma would hit, but there was no telling when or if it could even happen. |

| He nodded, removing his hands from behind his back and placed them into his pockets instead. He was after all not wearing gloves and it was starting to get a little chilly. Even if he could use magic to heat them up, he had never found the need to use it for such trivial manners. Giving her a slight smile, where it was just a small tug of the left side of his mouth, he nodded. Now it wasn’t because he would ever think that Antionette would be that foolish. But there was a lot of ways to summon a familiar, so you never could be too careful. He realised that he hadn’t said anything, when she asked him if he thought it, was a bad idea. He shook his head. “No, I don’t” he breathed out feeling how his shoulders fall down a little. Not noticing that he had pulled them up towards his ears. “I trust you, and trust that you have made enough research for it to actually have the wanted affect” he gave her a small smile and then nodded that they should start walking again. “Hopefully it can give Malcolm some peace to get a new change, especially after everything that happened” he truly hoped that with everything he was seeing in Malcolm now, was there to last. Especially as it seemed like he had been more open to let Willow stay in his life this time. The boy needed some friends that didn’t mind him being different than most. |

| Antionette tilted her head a little bit to the left observing him a little bit, pulling a little smirk by the edge of her lip as he mentioned that he trusted her. And of course she did her research, she didn't spent a thousand years perfecting something just for anyone. Even if it wasn't really anything he had requested on his own, she had still done it. Antionette didn't know everything that had happened to Malcolm, but the whole familiar thing had been travelling with the wind, making a lot of warlocks and witches sceptic about their familiars for a while. Well, Kieran's boys had always been able to play smart even when the world threw stones at them or tried to send them in the wrong directions. "I hope so," she gave Kieran a more confident smile. No one knew if it would actually settle Malcolm to get a new familiar, if it would help anything or not, well she believed that if a person was still breathing it wasn't too late to help them. Malcolm had never sort her out himself, but Willson had a few years after the accident because his magic had been over the top, so she had helped him along with Sarah. Because dark magic like that was trying to pull people apart and didn't she know just how bad that could go, she had been there shortly herself - and she had seen what it did to her mother. And Antionette would rather help Willson than let her mother come up with some good idea with being able to help by making it all worse. "How about Willson, is his magic getting more stable or is it the same?" She wondered, yes she did know an awful lot. But one thing was Willson's dark magic and how strong it was, then there was the whole thing about him not having a mate and wasn't bound to anyone so his magic was just chaos, and there had been days where she feared if he wasn't careful it could consume him completely. |

| Kieran nodded, letting his eyes wander to the grey skies above them. Snow was still falling, which made it truly look like a white Christmas. It was weird, he had never really celebrated Christmas. Before it was even really a holiday, he and his late wife, had been celebrating the end of a year with the kids. When they had still been small. But through the years after they had grown up and started their own path in life, it had just been him and Dalia. Now after getting back after twenty years a lot seemed to have changed. The fact that Willson had a very young daughter of course spoke to the fact that they should have some sort of celebration. Almost as if she had read his mind, she asked about how Willson was doing. He licked his lips and looked straight ahead of him. “He struggles, he doesn’t say it, but he does” Kieran said quite honestly. “But he still manage to fight against it, maybe would think it is a blessing never to have to worry about having a mate, but it doesn’t help with everything that happened, almost as if his missing an anchor in his magic” he described for her, he didn’t know how they should try to help him. But sometimes it was more about figuring out how to live with the struggles that you had. Instead of always trying to fix them. Feeling how the cold started to get to him he nodded towards a small quaint café. “Would you like to join me for a cup of tea, before I have to leave you again?” he asked with a soft smile on his lips, stopping in front of the café. |

| Antionette always appreciated the honesty Kieran spoke with, which also made it much easier for her to do the same. Willson was still fighting it, well she could imagine, she also knew he could fight it even if it was tough. It had been on going for so many years by now, and with the ease of how Willson managed to push it through, she only thought of him being able to coexist with the beat within. Antionette didn't believe in the outside world having some sort of anchor, she believed you were your own anchor, and of course the support outside mattered, but you couldn't start your recovery before you reached the state in your mind where you knew you needed it. And after that the mindset was key, it was the same with learning magic. The magic and mind connection, and then the channeling of the nature. Great forces, dangerous when out of control and it was so easy to break that thought of control. One wrong move and everything could feel as if shattered on the ground. "He will come if he needs help, otherwise I reckon he is just trying to find a balance with it all, which sometimes is the hardest step of it all," she exhaled softly, the stages of grief, everything had a huge saying in your magic, state or mind - everything really. And they had been taken hits lately, Kieran, Malcolm, Willson - so many people that she knew.
She noticed his little nod towards the café and pulled a little smile. "It would be my pleasure," Antionette replied following closer to the little café. Well it was Christmas Eve, perhaps she should see if her daughter despite of how old they were actually celebrated anything now she had her daughter back. Or then she would at least just stroll down the streets and enjoy the lighting, while feeling the warm auras of happiness as she could look in and see the happy families spending time together. |

| Kieran gave her a small smile as she theorized that he would come, when he felt like he needed help. Now, he hoped it was true. But if anything, his children had gotten his stubborn nature. Which only left himself to blame for how they would try to fix things themselves before they would come and talk with him. Even though they knew that his door would always be open. When Kieran had fallen into a deep hole of sorrow when Dalia had died. A hole that Killian had come to pull him out off, knowing that if his brother hadn’t come, he might have been dead by now. Luckily it had never come to that, and it had been the reason he had gone to Nepal to find himself and find something that could make him want to live again. Losing one’s partner was always hard, but after so many years together, it was just unimaginable that there was a life after you lost them. “Well then” he walked over to the door and opened it for her, so she could go in first. Then he looked around in the small and old-fashioned café, almost as if it was taking out of a movie from the twenties or even back in the eighteen hundred. Kieran nodded when the woman asked if it was just a table for two., then he followed her to a small table in the corner of the room. He let Antionette choose where to sit first, before he sat down. Taking the menu and started looking at it. Now he had just thought about getting tea, but it seemed like they had a variety of English afternoon tea. Now it wasn’t really what he had in mind, but he couldn’t quite help but let his eyes linger. |

| A soft little chuckle left her lips with a delicate smile as he held the door for her to walk in. Old-fashioned places, reminding her of the past and how much each of them had seen over the years. But she liked these sort of places and their charm. Antionette gave the woman a small nod as she asked for a table for two, before following her and sat down.
Her dark eyes wandered over the menu card, it was pure instinct to read the entire card despite knowing she was just going for tea, but it was always quite interesting to see what was on offer now wasn't it? "It's like they got more and more options every single year huh," she chuckled a little bit, before putting the card down, placing her hands on top of it. It was something quite remarkable really, because she was pretty sure that everyone around them could sense the magical energy from them, and one could completely argue that it was due their age and different experiences that they were so comfortable with that pull and energy the unclaimed bond had. She had watched young witches and warlocks lose their minds over their mates once they met them, it could be so difficult to function when you were young if you at least didn't have the right teachers. They perhaps had both that and the fact they were both in on it. Which had always been odd in some senses, because even if the mark was cloaked or she had spellbound it to look like someone elses she sometimes had just look at it in the mirror and wondered what he was up to. You couldn't really help but let your mind wonder time to time, and think how things would have looked if they hadn't done what they did. But then again, she was gifted with the life she had, so no there was nothing she wanted to change that way around, good with the bad.
Once the woman returned to them, she ordered a chamomile lavender tea, and turned her eyes to Kieran again letting him order, before removing her hands from the menu card and gave it back to the woman with a polite smile. "So, you are staying here for now, or is it just passing through?" she wondered, well one could ask her the same question, and she would give the answer of not knowing. The perks of being so old, you didn't have any rush to be somewhere or she did have her school in France. It was perhaps one thing she missed, just staying together with her family without their being any drama, but she couldn't really just be herself around her mother, you were always aware of every single little movement you made. But then it was a good thing she could spend time with her daughter, if she needed some family time. |

| Kieran let his eyes travel over the many options as well, giving himself the time to look at each one and make sure that he picked the right one. Especially now that there were so many different sorts now a days. Funny how the English empire saw themselves as the most tea drinking country, but it wasn’t tea from here, most of the came from either China or Japan. He folded the menu card together as the waitress came back. Ordering a lemon verbena tea, giving the young woman a small smile, as she took his menu card and then nodded before scurrying away to get their orders. The old warlock looked up as Antionette asked him if he was staying or just passing through. He licked his lips, giving her a slight smile. “I would say I’m staying, at least till I’ve made amens with my brother again” he explained, not that it was much of an explanation as not many knew just how deep a hole that Kieran had fallen in after his wife had died. Just like Antionette had been with her husband for a very long time, so had Kieran been with his. But when Dalia had died. He licked his lips giving her a small smile. “Besides, I would very much like to use a little time with my very young grandchild, before she gets too big and wants to do everything on her own” he chuckled, taking the napkin as he started to fold it. Mostly to give his hands something to do, so they wouldn’t start shaking too much. Looking at the many scars that was formed over them after his hands had been forced through the dashboard of the car, completely tearing his hands apart in the process. That he had even escaped with his life, was still a wonder to him. That guilt of him still being alive, when Dalia wasn’t. |

| He was going to make amends with his brother, Antionette gave him a small smile. Well, she didn't dig further into the story, knowing family matters were rather personal. Then there was of course the Sinclair family who everyone seemed to know about like they had their own reality show, or perhaps just because people knew if something went down there, it could had a butterfly effect and take down more than it should. She had wanted to reach out earlier, but she also knew losing someone you had known for so long as Kieran had known Dalia, it took more than just a few years of getting used to. It was a part of him that was never going to heal, even if some days would be better than others. It would never be the same again. Her lips pulled in a warmer smile when he mentioned that he would like to use some time with his granddaughter, "yeah - I get that," she chuckled a little bit. When people became as old as they, age and time just moved with another speed. Children were a good reminder to slow down, it made you look at time differently. Antionette took a deeper breath in for a moment and ran her hand through her hair. She still remembered the day she had gotten the news about her husband had died in the war, and while to the mundane it seemed like ages ago, sometimes to her it only felt like a blink of an eye ago, so she had placed her focus on teaching, helping others, wanting to stop the endless cycle of pain and suffering, even if it seemed like it was a job that took more than for just her to take a step. But someone had to be the first, right? "It sounds like a good plan," she sat a little bit back. "You will let me know if you need anything, right?" |

| Kieran nodded with a soft smile forming on his lips, he looked towards the young human girl coming back, and placing the two pots of tea on the table, then giving them both a cup with a matching saucer. He gave her an apricate smile when she told them to enjoy. He sure would, it was already giving off the most delightful scent. He couldn’t help but chuckle when she told him, that he should let him know if she needed anything. “I will, but just take care of yourself” he said looking at her with warm eyes. Now it wasn’t because he couldn’t feel the pull of the bond. But he had resisted it all those years ago when they had figured it out. Where Sarah and Killian hadn’t cared, and jumped into a relationship together, where they had gotten beautiful children. Even though Kieran could murder Niall every now and then. He had never dared, now he knew why. Especially after finding out just what Rebekah had done to him, what she had taken from him. He breathed out and poured some of the tea in his pot. “You want to talk about the bond?” he asked, maybe a little to straight forward, but – well, it wasn’t really something that you could just ignore, now, was it? |

| Taking care of one self. Antionette liked to believe she did, but maybe it was a lie she told herself. But took a little sharper breath in and gave him a soft nod. "I will," she confirmed. She could at least be more aware before reacting purely out of the injustice she saw. Just like him she poured some tea up in her cup, moving her chocolate brown eyes towards him after as he asked if she wanted to talk about the bond. The famous bond they had resisted for so many years, a bond many of their kind could be so envious about - just by the thought of the power it could behold. Antionette had always known that at some point there would come a day where they were to speak about it again. Even if small moments out there lives had led up to it prior this. Like one of the times way back where she had needed to fake her own death because of witch trials, even her own family had thought her dead, and the only really had been able to know she wasn't actually dead, or able to trace her had been Kieran. "We can talk about it," she replied, placing a hand around the handle of the tea cup, but still had her eyes on him with a softer smile. It was many years ago since they had talked about living their lives, seeing what was beyond the bond they had discovered they had. And she was curious to hear what he had to say. It was sort of strange, not that she hadn't felt it been pulling in her since she had felt his presence at the park. She was used to resisting it, like he was. Even so even with that much resisting, the longer time they spent together, she could feel it even stronger, maybe it was the awareness of the conversation about it. |
