Oh yes, there will be blood [TW]

Zadkiel shut his mouth as the witch told him what would happen if he interfered. He left a little grunt as he was pressed down into a seat which suddenly had appeared beneath him. He hadn’t even realized that the stool had appeared. “O-okay, but please tell me if there’s anything I can do,” he almost stumbled upon his words. The warlock registered the offering and would remember it if it got necessary.

Artemis complained about how Killian did his treatment and he was just about to tell her that she should shut her mouth and help if she believed there was need for help. He had just been through many of these things not that long ago with his daughter he knew what was right and wrong and he could feel very well that Letha had her troubles with doing the tasks. It wasn’t like 9000 years of memories was a something small. As Artemis finally held Letha’s head, he didn’t hesitate with pouring the liquid. It wasn’t really like the liquid would be any pleasure for her to drink, being thick and stringy from her hair. As soon as the container was empty he made sure to close her mouth for her, letting the leaf stay since it would dissolve.

He looked up at Artemis, “Hold her for a moment,” he said and let go of her jaw as soon as Artemis held it. It shouldn’t take long before Letha should start to feel weak and hopefully get into a light coma. He took the ME-briefcase and took a thick paste from it and started to spread it on the seaweed. “Tell me when she’s out,” he said and continued spreading the grey thick paste.
As soon as Letha was unconscious, he would put the seaweed onto her forehead, with the paste towards her skin. He started to cover her whole face while mumbling a small ritual which would slow down the memories, so she wouldn’t turn into a true vegetable. Had she stayed awake this process would’ve speed up the process instead of waking her up. When there was no more seaweed and her whole face was covered, her looked up at Artemis, making a small gesture with his hand to tell her to remove her hands. He was still mumbling the ritual and would do that for a little while. There was a whole lot of memories after all.
Zadkiel looked from Letha, Killian and to Artemis, “What’s going on?” he asked slightly frustrated. He was worried that something was going wrong, but he certainly didn’t like not knowing what they were doing. He didn’t move from his chair yet.

Zadkiel was terrified for losing Letha. She meant so much to him, so of course he didn’t dare to interfere unless it  seemed like what they were doing were extremely dangerous. He couldn’t do much but watch how they did this ritual and how he wished he knew what the hell was happening and if there was anything which wasn’t supposed to happen.
He even had trouble looking away from Letha as Artemis finally explained what was happening. He nodded a little trying to process just how much change this would mean for Letha. How much would she change and would it have any bad effects on their relationship? “How many years of memory are we talking?” he wondered, still looking at Letha worried. How long could it take before she was safe? How much of her life didn’t she know of?
“Yeah, we got wine,” he replied slightly stiff, not taking his eyes of Letha yet. It was first when the tall blonde lady swung her arm around him that he managed to actually pay attention to the witch and what she had been saying. He sighed a little as she said he would only get sick by worrying. He saw her gesture and lifted an eyebrow to look at her shortly wondering if she really was serious about the wine, but by the look of her he moved towards his cabinet with wineglasses, “Red or white?” he asked and looked towards her before he would pick whatever she chose, open the flask and pour for the two of them. Killian seemed to be quite busy, so he didn’t want to interfere him right now, besides he only heard how he continued to mumble the ritual he had started. He looked over at the witch. “How long have you two been working together?” he wondered, clearly not being able to determine what their relationship was.

Zadkiel raised his brows as the witch mentioned Killian and her went way back to 1935. Of course, it made sense that witches, just like angels, could be very old and not even look like it. He took a sip of his glass, licking his lips afterwards to get any leftover drops away. He frowned a little as the witch asked if he really didn’t know who Letha was. He didn’t understand the question really. He knew exactly who Letha was, though there was of course some things he didn’t know… One of the many things he didn’t know about her was the thing that Artemis was going to tell him just a moment later. His gaze shortly looked towards Letha as the witch pointed towards her. Feared. Brutal. One of the first. He felt how all blood left his face. She what? He looked back towards Artemis as she talked about saving Letha, who would never harm a fly. “I-… I didn’t know,” he said clearly speechless and looked back towards his girlfriend. “And what would happen… If she got all of her memories back?” he wondered and looked back at the witch. It was incredible how nervous one could get.

He sunk a lump in his throat. “And what about that other guy who was here? I think Letha mentioned him as Oscar?”

Zadkiel raised both his brows as Artemis also explained that his girlfriend was cursed. Cursed to only be able to do good things. A very special curse, Zadkiel thought to himself. Someone must really have been tired of Leth- Ilene’s shit. He looked at Artemis as she mentioned she hadn’t seen anything like this before, getting so many memories back. He tightened his jaw, being worried for all of this. He just really hoped that Killian knew what he was doing and that he could save Letha and that she hopefully couldn’t get insane. But he would work with it and help her. He was certain that nothing would be able to split the two of them apart, even if she had many years of her past which was brutal.

The way Artemis smiled made Zadkiel confused. Was this Oscar good or bad? Was he a friend of them? He didn’t really understand at first, because the way the man had just entered with no sense of stopping had Zadkiel thinking it was more of a bad relationship. Oscar Addams. God, he already hated that guy. Apparently, Letha and Oscar grew up together. Zadkiel could barely imagine what kind of monster the guy must be since he apparently didn’t have a curse similar to Letha’s. She looked towards Killian, the warlock, as Artemis explained that the vampire and him went way back. “Rivals, huh,” he said and nodded a bit. He would certainly say that he could imagine this Oscar being a rival to just about anyone. “So, do you think he’s trouble? Now that he has found Letha?” Zadkiel only cared for his girlfriend. Were they going to be, okay? Would they have to move, would she need more help or some kind of security? What was the deal?

Killian looked at the vampire which mind he had tried to save. He honestly couldn’t really figure out what or who was sitting in front of him as it seemed like she got her consciousness back. He removed everything and waited for her to open her eyes. The beautiful blue eyes. He continued to look worried until he had heard just about anything for her. She felt like she was okay and Killian hummed a little smile. “Oh- Easy now,” he said calmly as she tried to get up. He was there to support her body and head so she wouldn’t get hurt.

Artemis only just got to mention that Letha was back, before Zadkiel quickly put his glass away and ran towards the warlock and his girlfriend. “Calm down angel boy, she’s not going anywhere,” Killian tried to calm him down. Zadkiel had just been so worried and quickly sat down next to Killian, looking at his girlfriend, smiling a sad smile. He was just so happy that she was back and seemingly in good condition. “Look at me,” Killian said and gently directed Letha’s nose to look at him. “If you ever feel like memories are rushing back, you have to get to me as quickly as possible, okay?” How she would get to him was something he was still working on in his mind. He did have both papers, pills and what not. It would be something they could discuss later. She had only been lucky this time.

Killian gave her an assured nod. He was sure she has things under control. He huffed a little, “Yes,” he replied, sad that he couldn’t tell her that it would take a long time. Zadkiel immediately responded as he could see how Letha sought for his hand and quickly took it with both of his hands. He smiled slightly less worried. Killian smiled a little as she thanked him and that he had thrown everything away for her. Well, to be quite honest, he had done it because he knew just about how serious it would be if he didn’t get to her in time. It was more than enough to have one of the first purebloods after his daughters, it would be a hell to have two of them after his daughters. Killian’s eyes looked over to the kitchen as soon as he heard the snort. “Anytime, darling,” he said and allowed himself to place a gentle hand on her cheek, only to feel jealous brown eyes look at him. He took his hand back. “I’ll give the two of you a moment alone. I’ll figure out of a way you can get to me, okay?” he said, even though he was not waiting for a reply. He got up and went into the kitchen.

As soon as Killian was out of the way, Zadkiel got closer to Letha. “Hey sweetie,” he said quite softly. Just as soft as he looked to everyone else. Caring and gentle. “Do you want to sit upright?” he asked gently, ready to help her get into a sitting position, with her back against the couch. No matter what, he would support her in which ever position she wanted to be in, and reach over the back of the couch and grab a blanket to wrap around her. He didn’t just want to tell her that he was going to close her pants, he would much rather wait.

Killian entered the kitchen and quickly poured himself a glass of the wine. “Youth these days,” he complained under his breath, before he took a might mouthful of his glass. He didn’t think much of the fact that Zadkiel was in the same age range as his three youngest daughters. But mostly, he complained about the jealousy. There was nothing in the short caress he had given Letha. Only that she knew that he would be there to help her suppress the memories. He sighed deeply before he turned towards Artemis. “I’ll only be a minute before we can pack up and go home,” he said, clearly hinting to her following him home – staying for the night. He put his glass down, and a charming smile formed on his lips. Artemis just had so much attitude and no matter what body she was in, she carried it so great.
