"Fuck," she let out a sigh, finally being able to wake up. Her head was spinning and the aching pain was enough for her to believe she at least had a concussion. Kalani could even taste her own blood on her lower lip from the punch that most likely had done the number of knocking her out. The taser had done wonders, and she had already noted to make these people pay for even pulling off this foolish attempt. One thing they had been clever about was knocking her out first, not letting Kailani be able to push a little golden luck on her sister afterwards. "Delphine," she mumbled a little looking around trying to find her sister, whatever chains they had cuffed them with was blocking their abilities. Not that her luck was something people could shut off, it would always benefit her in one or the other way. It seemed like they were alone in the old warehouse by now, at least in this room. Kailani moved her eyes around looking at the front window where the sun seemed to be getting up, and suddenly it hit her - how long had they been out? It had been the middle of the night when she last had checked her phone, and they had been on their way back towards the casino.

"Delphine I really need you to wake up right now," she almost begged and exhaled a little bit. Well, even so, if they had been knocked out for hours - Kailani knew in her heart it would be a matter of minutes - hopefully only minutes - before Bast, Orion and River would show up. Kailani looked over her arms, it was like they had dried their skin while they had been out, making it feel like all of her nerves were being ripped up as soon as the sun even got a taste of it, making her hiss a little bit. "Good you are awake - or at least one of you is," someone stepped in almost clapping his hands in excitement. "We have the need to chat a little bit, I even brought you some water - you look like you could use it," he held up a glass of water, not with the intention of giving it to her. "What do you want?" She took a sharper breath in, even if her skin was burning for the water and knowing Delphine's would be begging for it too - it wasn't like she hadn't been dealing with people who just wanted power for themselves before.

It wasn’t often that Delphine thought herself unlucky. Even if she often found herself in more so than lucky situations. But she could always turn it to her advantage and push it towards the people trying to hurt her. But whatever had happened that night; she hadn’t been able to block it or get out of it. She would remember how she had screamed when they had taken Kailani, how she, a few minutes after, had felt pain scorched through her body as every part of her body had spasmed and then blackness.

There was a soft hum in the back of her head. Something needed her to do something like an itch that was starting to be scratched, but she couldn’t figure out how. She wanted to move, breath probably, wake up.
She turned in the darkness, but her body kept still. A groan left her, but everything she did; happened in her head. Even though there was a desperate wish for her to wake up, she couldn’t, and she didn’t know why.
Voices that were so muffled, she had plans, didn’t she? There was something she needed to wake up to, but her body just felt so heavy. Her eyelids refused to open, but her mind slowly came too, and she just managed to make out her sister's voice asking what the person wanted.
Then someone yanked at her chains, and a pained scream left her as she opened her eyes and looked like a wild animal, scared of what was happening around her. There were also some around her feet, and it was like someone threw cold water in her head and teleported her back to when she had been held captive in a carnival. Low gasps left her as she looked up at the man that Kailani had just talked to. Then he let go, and she fell on the hard concrete floor. “Now that both of you are awake, we can start” Delphine gasped for air and could feel how panic was starting to rule her body rather than she was.

"Hey!" Kailani hissed flashing her siren features as they yanked in Delphine's chains, it was rare Kailani reminded people what kind of monster they were dealing with, but one should know - one should really know better than to even attempt to hurt Delphine. "You want to talk to someone, you talk to me - don't even look at her," she hissed once again at the man, wanted nothing more than to break free of her chains and show him just how mad she was. "Great, we want you two to come and work for us - plain and simple," Kailani couldn't really help but curl her lips up, before letting out a small laugh that made the man who was standing next to the one in charge, threw a punch hitting her jaw, and enough to send her to the ground. Kailani spit some blood out on the hard floors, and exhaled a little, "you are so going to regret all of this, and you don't even have any idea," she replied sitting herself back up again looking at the guy who had thrown the punch, who now grabbed around her chin, pressing her jaw together with a force that made her feel like he would actually have broken it if he hadn't been stopped by the supposed leader. The grip was loosened and Kailani exhaled a bit, still feeling the taste of her blood running over her tongue.

"That was us asking nicely you know," he pointed out and sat down in front of her, shaking his head a little. "The answer is still no, if you hadn't figured," Kalani replied giving him a small fake smile which showed how her teeth was strained with her blood. "It's a shame really, maybe I should just ask your sister then, should I?" He asked looking to the side at Delphine, which was the wrong move really, because with a flash Kailani had thrusted herself forward and razor sharp teeth closed around his ear as she was pulled away from him - making the leader lose his ear. She spitted it out, well could have eaten it, but she sure had lost her appetite by being here. The man screamed up, making sure he got away from her, then she earned another punch that once again sent  her to the ground. Kailani knew she just needed to buy them time, because she had true fate in the fact that help was on the way.


"Are you even sure its serious? I mean they have been out partying so much this month that I almost lost count?" River asked Bast, knowing very well that well Kailani had a thing for texting Bast and Lucille, but no one else unless it was like life and death. And she always did have a flair for clarifying where she was going in case of something happening, so, River did understand the reaction as the sun started to rise and no one had heard from Kailani. Not even a trace found of her scent. So, well of course they had started going on a search, maybe her phone had died - but well Delphine's phone didn't work either. Victoria and Penelope hadn't seen them when they had called to ask. Which meant nothing good.

Delphine wished she could be of more help. She wasn’t strong, nor was she adept at using guns and her fist. She only used her hands for playing, nothing more, which was easily seen with how well taken care of they were.
She screamed up and yanked her chains as her sister was hit, but it felt so pathetic in contrast to how her sister had told them to stop, how she kept not giving them anything they asked for. She wasn’t sure she would be as brave to say no as she was.
“Fucking Bitch, bit my ear off!” he screamed before he turned and stared at Kailani, that had been sent to the ground. “Well, since you don’t fucking care what happens to you, let’s see how you fare when it is your sister that is taking the pain.”
She widened her eyes as two men came toward her and grabbed her hands. A pathetic sound left her as she tried to curl herself into a ball, washed over by fear of ending up in the same position as she had been in before, a faded memory that still had such a substantial impact on her life. “No! Please, stop!” she screamed as they took her hand and found a hammer. “Are you still saying no?” he hissed as someone came with a cloth to press against his ear, then he nodded, and the hammer swung, hitting her little finger. Tears formed in her eyes, and a scream left her. “How about now!?”


“Sure, they just both stopped responding around the same time, and maybe Kailani is better at keeping her phone away from her when she needs a breather, but Delphine posts on that fucking Instagram thing every hour of the day, if she is not sleeping, and well she hadn’t posted any pictures about being out and about” he mumbled, not liking the feeling, then he turned as he noticed some tire marks and what could look like blood.
“Is it hers?” he asked; it could be anyone's blood, but, well. He looked up and saw that there was a CCTV camera hanging “call that demon girl, Imogen, and get her to hack the footage around this area” he grunted and walked toward the casino again, where he would pick up the things he needed before going on what he already knew would be a manhunt. It wouldn’t be the first time someone tried to steal the girls; he just hadn’t seen it happen where they had gotten the both of them before.

The hiss coming from the siren as he threatened Delphine echoed in the old factory. Kailani however didn't move, she stayed down, watching them. "Don't you fucking dare," she warned them, while Delphine screamed up for her life, making it harder for Kailani to keep herself grounded for much longer. "I -" but before she could say anything the hammer swung and Kailani could hear how the bone broke, but it was nothing compared to the agony of pain that left Delphine in a scream. "Okay - I'm listening, I'm listening just let her be. Otherwise there is nothing for us to talk about," Kailani negotiated, after all if she could negotiate with people like Levi - who was to say she couldn't use some time on making a deal till at least the back up arrived.



River moved his eyes to the blood on the road, and took a deeper breath in, already giving away the answer. "Yeah, but it's mixed with some demon blood too - soul demon," he sat down by the blood and looked at it further. "But you know Kailani, she wouldn't just let anyone get to her without a fight -" he mumbled the last part, hating that this had happened. Then picking his phone up as Bast had told him to, dialing the demon Imogen's number while Bast went to pick up what he needed. "Hey, I need a favor - Kailani and Delphine have been taken, and there is a beautiful camera hanging here and I happen to know you have excellent skills in gaining information, so if I text you the coordinates, do you reckon you can trace the car that took them?" He didn't really ask if she had the time of day, he wanted a yes I can do it, or a no, so he could find another solution if she wasn't up to help.

The man laughed and shook his head. “No, you lost the right to negotiate when you bit my ear off, break both of her hands”, Delphine cried up, trying to make them stop, but two blows and her hands were shattered in the middle. “Now I let you think about how you could have avoided that, and when I come back, it is not an offer to work together, but it’s a demand” all of them left the room again, leaving the softly crying delphine lying on the corner with her back turned to her sister, not wanting her to see just how pathetic she felt in this very moment. All she really wanted was to get back to her apartment and lay in her water, but that all seemed so far away.


“Fucking soul demons”, Bast grunted, then looked at him as he called up Imogen.
Imogen turned in her chair and then clicked a bottom picking up the call on her headset. She blew a bobble as River started speaking. “A favour from the great River? That is a dangerous thing to tell me”, she mused, but then quickly started tapping on the keyboard in front of her; she let out a laugh “what is this, 2000? You are calling from your phone; I’m already in, wave to the camera” she giggled as she typed a little more "do you have a timeline for when they were taken?” she asked as she started scanning through the footage. She quickly found pictures of Kailani and Delphine, making it easier for herself to sort through. “All right, there we go; we have a white van – why is it always have to be white vans? You should think that people tried to be a little less obvious, well okay, scanning license plate, hmm… well you are in luck there is a GPS in the car, what are these guys? Lowlife crocks? The ones you find on the street in New York thinking they are the next big thing gangster – Scorpio, stop that!” she pushed the demon away with a giggle and then turned back. “There we go, sending you the coordinate, go get your girls home” she pressed end call and then turned around and threw a pillow in Scorpio's head, who had used most of the call trying to distract her.
Bast had, in the meantime, found a car they could use to drive. “Got an address?” the incubus asked and then placed himself behind the wheel, not really asking as he started driving.

The last possible thing they should do was attempting to hurt Delphine any further, and yet they did. Not that Kailani yelled for them to stop, there was no point in yelling, it would only give them the satisfaction of being able to torment her with it. It didn't change how horrible it spread out in her chest, looking at her sister pressed against the corner, curled up into a ball with little idea how to mend in a situation like this. Now Kailani had always hated her parents for having forced her and some of her older siblings, Grecia and Hurley to be the ones to fend for their people after they had claimed Leah Abyss, which now was Athena - because training three of your kids to fight hadn't been enough. Not even with Kailani's luck. But right now, in this moment, she was somewhat happy about the mistreatments she had been experiencing, because she knew she could survive this too. Her skin was on fire, and her entire body was on the edge of burning up alive as the sun started to reach her legs. Perhaps it was the last spark of luck she did have left? Having Delphine in the corner where the sun couldn't reach her at first, while Kailani now tried her best not to scream up at the pain of the fire set on her skin. But the tears sprinted out from her eyes, dangerous, siren tears were worth a whole lot. Able to heal wounds and treat illnesses, not that she cared for this moment. "It's okay - everything is going to be okay," Kailani whispered pained to her younger sister, giving her a small smile. "Come on boys," she mumbled to herself, wishing for anything that her guys would be just around the corner.


River looked towards the camera, blinked a little bit. He never got used to how high tech everything was. Then he gave her the timeline for when he assumed it would've been compared to the freshness of the blood. Then he listened to Imogen, noticing how Scorpio kept talking in the background which made River roll his eyes. Not commenting since they had bigger issues than Scorpio being annoying right now. "I will, thank you," he hung up and looked over the information Imogen had sent him, then looking over at Bast driving the car. "As a matter of fact I have. Stupid demons, choses one of the old warehouses just outside of Gaia," he placed the coordinates onto the gps making it easy to trace the van. Just hoping that they wouldn't be late.

She had to believe that, didn’t she, that it would be okay.
But right now, at this moment, she truly believed she would die. When Kailani screamed up in pain, Delphine closed her eyes, submitting to her fate and just as she could feel her entire body start burning up, she felt water being sprayed over them, just easing the pain a little then the water was gone. This was torture, plain and simple torture. She was happy her sister had bit the guy’s ear of; she was happy that she at least had managed to stay strong in this last hour before their death would come. Then she heard shouts outside the room, a couple of shots and then silence. The door was kicked open. Delphine curled herself together in a small bowl crying out in pain as her broken hands were pressed against her chest.
Bast was quickly over to Kailani, wrapping her in a wet blanket and pulling her out of the sun. He wrapped his strong arms around her and pulled her towards his chest. He wanted to say that he was here, that things would be all right. But he just sat there, with his eyes looking towards Delphine that clearly didn’t trust that she was safe now, that everything would turn out all right—trying to fight off the hands that wanted to pick her up, shouting words Bast didn’t even understand. So he just sat there, holding Kailani filling his lungs with air and being happy that they got there in time.

Kailani exhaled and closed her eyes as she heard the shots getting fired from outside, let alone she turned her eyes towards the door as it was kicked open. The pain didn't go away right away, she knew she needed to get back and get into some real water for the damage done to her legs to get healed. But she felt like she could finally breath, let go of holding onto being strong as Bast pulled her out of the sun, and wrapped his arms around her. Kailani just found herself curling closer towards him, as if she couldn't get close enough. "I knew you would come," she managed to whisper, feeling how her heart started to reduce its speed to a more normal rhythm again.

River walked in on the scene seconds after Bast had turned to help Kailani, he looked around seeing the blood spilled, the hammer, hearing the crying Delphine, not taking a genius to know what they had used the hammer for. Neither did it take long to understand how scared out of her mind she was right now, even as he sat down in front of her, she seemed so panicked - completely unreachable. "Delphine, breath, calm down," River used his compulsion to get Delphine to settle down, "we are here to get you home safely. You are going to be okay, and I'm going to help you, you are going to let me help you, trust me" he talked rather softly compared to how people usually expected him to speak. Then they could take a look at her hands once they got back to the casino - or perhaps the local lake or something, knowing Kailani didn't like going to the ocean because of that Levi demon guy. He placed a wet blanket around her, then picking her up heading to the van out side. Once they had gotten the girls back home, he could get out here and figure out more of these people, even call Linus and Francis - hear if they knew any thing about these people, wanting to know if there was more coming.

Bast chuckled a little as she whispered that she knew he would come. He looked towards River and saw how he used compulsion on Delphine. The woman finally stopped kicking and screaming but just sat there looking at him with her giant eyes. Felt the blanket as it was wrapped around her and then pulled up in his arms.
“I saw a small pond out back; seems they at least had thought that much out; I’ll just take Kailani there and meet you back at the car”, he said and lifted Kai and started walking towards the back of the small warehouse they had found them in. It was not a particularly lovely pond, but at least it was better than nothing. Wounds on the skin could be fixed, broken bones healed; what could concern him was the mind, and it seemed that Delphine’s mind had taken a soft crack in all of this.  
He walked over to the water and gently helped Kailani down in it so they could fix her legs or at least the most of it before driving back to the casino. “sorry I didn’t come sooner,” he grumbled, waiting for her to say she was done so that he could carry her back to the car.  

She would lie if the small pond didn't sound like the best idea she had heard all day. Now Kailani's mind worked different, perhaps why her parents had selected her back in the day. Not that it right now mattered, once her sister had stopped screaming it was like she could finally think about the next stop, and let Bast lift her towards the pond, letting her sink into the not really amazing water. But right now she just let out a sigh as she letting her legs transform into the long tale covered in cyan and purple like scales, matching the clears cyan waters you could find when heading south. She dived under the surface, just letting the blood wash of and letting her mind go. Coming rather quickly up to the surface again, placing her elbows against the edge looking at Bast, giving him a sad smile, "but you came, which I am very grateful for," she reminded him on her next exhale. Now, she knew this would affect Delphine in ways she wasn't even sure what measures yet. But they needed to cross that bridge when they reached it, now they needed to get home. "Lets go home," she then said once she was feeling like her tale had been healed enough for her legs to not break by the touch. Once getting up, her eyes looked around the scene, seeing the people dead gave her some satisfaction, knowing they wouldn't bother them again. It didn't stop her from wanting to hurt them so deeply.

River had placed Delphine on the passenger seat, and himself at the drivers seat. Being able to at least know hold his compulsion on the siren, while she was able to see free to on the road that they were headed away from this place. Hopefully giving her a small sense of freedom. Now River rarely had experienced horrible kidnappings, his ability gave him such an ease to get out of every little sticky situation, he couldn't imagine and yet. His head turned once he saw Bast coming back with Kailani, "your sister and Bast are coming back now, then we can get going," he informed her so she wouldn't be puzzled with sudden sound or movement.

He nodded when she mentioned that he had come, he had, and with the little they had been able to go on, it was a wonder that they had even been able to make it here. As she said that they should go home, he helped her up again, pulling her into his arms, and as he came to the car and placed Kai beside Delphine, who just stared out of the window, she hadn’t really reacted, only listened to the command that River had given her. She had disappeared into the only place she knew that she would be safe, her own mind. She hadn’t even noticed how her hands were already showing the effects of what had happened to them. The blue and purple circles form around the impact from the hammer.
Bast sat behind the wheel and started driving home; not having much to say, he just listened as he always did as they went back to the Casino; once again, he walked around and helped Kailani out of the car, letting River take Delphine that had been sitting patiently waiting for him before stepping out and just following along almost like a mindless puppet that needed guidance to do anything.

It was heart breaking to see her sister like this, and her eyes couldn't really take themselves off Delphine for the whole ride. Because no matter how much she didn't want to take all the blame, knowing no matter if they had agreed or not, these people would have shown some kind of point on what would happen if they dared crossing them. The damage would have been done to them either way, just looking at how they had gotten there. But they still turned Kailani's words against her, her words. Who wouldn't feel just the slightest bit of guilt, she could even sense it from River, and it was rare that she got to see that hint of emotion from the vampire.

Once again the car parked, she let Bast help her out of the car. Her eyes more fixated on River getting Delphine out of the car than actually watching her own steps. Because she wanted to help her sister, yet also knowing right now - she couldn't do much. "I will call Ace, see if he can do anything," River said, rare words. Rare words indeed, but when it came to his crew, his girls there weren't really nothing River wouldn't do, even call upon help from his younger brother who did far better in this area than him. But River got Delphine out of the car and headed out the back door, not that there was any at the casino, another night closed because of events beyond their control. He walked towards a room Kailani had specific requested for whenever she needed to swim, so there was a pool in one of the back rooms, where he walked in with Delphine, so he was sure she was sitting right. Then walking over to grab his phone and called his brother for assistance.

Kailani watched River walk away with Delphine, knowing Ace perhaps could help  Delphine's wounds, she didn't know of her mind. How it would take all of the things that had happened this evening. "I hate this," she mumbled with a lower voice, hating what had happened to Delphine most of all. "I don't even know what to do," she mumbled a little bit, to tired to actually think of anything.

Bast nodded when River mentioned that he would call his brother to see if he could do anything; once again, he was reminded that it wasn’t the wounds nor the broken hands that worried him but the young siren’s mind. “I know”, he whispered, then looked toward the room that River disappeared into with Delphine, “You want to go in there with her? Or do you want to go upstairs and lie down for a bit?” he asked, already feeling like he had been speaking more today than he had done in a very long time, he was also getting worried because it had been a long time since he had felt Lucille scratch in the back of his head, wanting to get out and take over her body once again. Whatever had happened between her and River, it had rattled her so much so that she didn’t want to show herself any longer. Maybe it had something to do with Aaron, their shared daughter and realising just what River had done to keep her to himself without actually wanting to be with her. It was also problematic because he knew that Kailani had feelings for him, but it wasn’t a feeling he could reciprocate as this wasn’t him; he wasn’t a person on his own this was all Lucille, which for him was just weird.

Delphine sat down, and her eyes darted towards the water, not that she did anything other than sitting there with her slightly swollen hands in her lap, waiting for whatever was needed from her.

It would be a lie if Kailani said she didn't want to sit there with Delphine, try to help her come through this. Yet, Kailani despite working through it fine, still needed to let the trauma from the entire experience process through her to even be able to put her mind on how Delphine might be feeling at this point. "I will call Orion, maybe he can help too," even if Orion had taken over most of Anthony's abilities, he still had his fine gift with mending and control souls - perhaps it could help. "I think I will lie down for a bit," she replied softly, feeling a bit selfish for making that choice. But what use would she be if she herself was beyond exhausted? No help at all. "Will you stay with me? Just for a little while," Kailani asked, even it was just a few minutes till she had settled her nerves.

Orion came walking in, "why the hell didn't you call me?" He kissed a little bit then looking towards the water where Delphine was sitting like a doll just left in the water after having been left behind, looking so lost it was tearing a part pieces of him to see her like this. But without further due, he walked over behind her and let himself sink in, just placing his lips against her temple as his arms carefully wrapped around her, "it's going to be okay - I got you okay, we will get you through this. I'm right here," he whispered and looked up to his father who seemed to be talking with someone.

“I think he’ll find his way here on his own accord”, Bast assured her and started helping her upstairs towards the room, where he helped her get out of the remaining clothes and placed her down in the bed, putting the covers over her. When she asked if she would stay a little while, he nodded, took a chair, placed it by the bed, and sat down. His eyes looked toward her face, and he gave her a small smile before he pulled out the small drawer on the bedside table and took out a book. Funny how a man could say so little, but when it came to reading out loud, he enjoyed every moment of it, so with a quiet and deep voice, he started reading from the fairy-tale book, watching every now and then if she was still listening or if she had fallen asleep.

It was first when Orion’s arms folded around her that tears started sliding down her cheeks again. There weren’t many people that Delphine put her trust in; however, two of them were in this room. The man holding her would probably be one of those who was highest on the list she trusted, right under her sister Kailani.
Closing her eyes, she tried to breathe, remembering that she was safe and that everything would turn out fine. “My hands”, she whispered, lifting them shakenly so he could see just what they had done. The form from the hammer was so clear to see in the middle of it; bruises forming in would be a beautiful colour if it didn’t symbolise something so violently.

She felt the bed already trying to consume her, and the covers like a small weight around her body just trying to dim the lights and let her fall asleep. Kailani didn't really say anything, but she looked up at him as he took a chair out and found a book, letting her lips pull up into a loving smile. She took a deeper breath in and exhaled softly, listening to the sound of his voice as he started to read out loud, letting the comfort settle over her and slowly lure her into sleep, till she sudden closed her eyes and just let the sleep take over her.  

"Just breathe like I do," which was easier to say now, he was a bloody human, his heart was beating half out his chest just running over here. But it also meant it was that much easier to hear his breathing. Orion looked over her hands as she mentioned them, seeing the bruises forming over them, even as she was shaking. He let one of his arm reach and his hand fold just above the wrist to take a look at them. "I'm so sorry," he knew that they would heal, they had the resources, but the trauma on what had happened. "I know it feels impossible right now, but we will get through this, and I will be with you every step of it, okay, you have my word," Orion promised leaning his head against hers.

When he was absolutely sure that she had fallen asleep, he got up from his seat and walked to the door. But before he walked out, he turned and let his eyes fall on the sleeping siren; a small sigh left him before he shook his head and stepped out, closing the door behind him. Walking down the stairs, he walked to the room where he knew that River had placed Delphine; he could already feel that Orion had joined them, knowing it hadn’t gone down well that he hadn’t been informed by this. His eyes saw the scene unfolding and then turned to look at River on the phone.
Delphine seemed to have relaxed a little in the arms of the now human Orion; “How is she?” he asked, knowing that Orion would have a better feel for how her mind was doing than the others even though you didn’t know to be an expert to see that it wasn’t good.
“Maybe, maybe someone could call Cyrus?” Delphine whispered softly; even though she appreciated Orion’s gesture and already felt calmer, she couldn’t help but think about the young human with whom she had been spending an awful lot of time lately.

Orion looked to the side when Bast entered the room, asking how Delphine was. "Not the best, but we will take it one step at the time," he replied and exhaled again, knowing it would take time. Not really amused by not having gotten a call or anything about this, he would have dropped everything to help, but also knew that getting used to this skin was another thing. Being a blood demon and suddenly a human, it wasn't something that suited Orion either. "Yeah, you will be fine here while I go call?" Orion wondered waiting for a confirmation before letting go and lifted himself up from the pool, not caring his clothing was completely soaked, but he reach out to get his phone and made a phone call.

Victoria picked up the phone after it had started to ring in her back pocket. "Orion, what's up?" She wondered pressing her brows a bit together, "there was a situation with Kailani and Delphine, both are safe here now -  it was pretty bad, is Cyrus with you?" Orion wondered, knowing Victoria would have better luck at calling the human than Orion would have himself. Even if it was his half brother. Fucking twisted really. "Yeah, he is with me - somewhere. Just the casino? Or where are you?" Victoria asked. "We are at the casino, in the pool area," he added. Victoria hung up and downed her whisky. "Have you seen Cyrus?" She asked Linus and then looked around, knowing he had heard most of the conversation as well. Now, she cared a lot about Kailani and Delphine so of course she wanted to make sure they were alright, but also knew that too much company even from those who cared at first hand might be overwhelming. But she also knew that someone had to drop Cyrus off, she didn't trust him to drive in a worried state or find the way. "Permission to borrow the car?" she lifted her brow a little holding her hand out with her palm facing upwards. Knowing once she told Cyrus he would be over the hills to get there.

Orion then ended the call and walked back into the room. "Ace is on his way," River looked towards Delphine in the pool then looking up at Bast, "how about Kailani, how is she?" Obviously River knew Bast wouldn't have walked down here if he wasn't sure she was alright to a point where they weren't afraid of leaving her alone. River's eyes turned to Delphine in the pool and let out a small sigh. "I still can't believe you didn't call me right away," Orion pointed out towards his father. "Well, given the time and situation, we were heading there as fast as we could, and seconds later than we were - you should just be happy we made it there when we did." Harsh words, but it was true. The situation could have looked worse if they had arrived minutes later, not that River liked to even think the thought of maybe only having been able to save one of them.  Orion just shook his head. "I got a hold on Victoria, she is informing Cyrus."

Delphine just nodded, and when she was left alone again, Bast was almost struck by how she was sitting, staring as if there was no life left in her. The water around her made movements as Orion got out of the water himself to make the call she had asked for. Bast just hoped that River could be on his best behaviour when Cyrus arrived, knowing that there were only so many children of River’s that he had actually cared for.
His gaze turned away from the pitiful looking siren to River as he asked if Kailani was all right; he nodded but didn’t say anything else; he knew River was only asking to make absolutely sure because both of them knew he wouldn’t have left if he had known that Kailani might need him to stay longer. But he wasn’t really doing her any good while she was sleeping, which was the most important thing for her now.
Bast nodded when Orion and River were done arguing and then were told that Cyrus would be on his way. Still very interested in how this would play out. “We should inform Grecia and Maera as well, then let Grecia decide if Florence should know as well;" given how it turned out last time she was here, it shouldn’t be them calling.
Bast’s eyes once again glided towards Delphine in the pool, just sitting there doing nothing; it was heartbreaking.

Linus looked up from the bar where he was looking at some of the books from last month’s earnings. “think his out back looking at the cars,” he answered, narrowing his eyes, already knowing something had happened. Still, if she needed help, she would tell him. “of course,” he turned and took a key down from the wall and threw it to her. “just text us when you know when you’ll be back or if you need it till tomorrow” he said with a smirk and winked at her, before turning his attention downward to what he had been doing before.

River made a small grimace when Bast mentioned they should call Delphine and Kailani's sisters in about it. Now he knew it would end in an argument or two, even if it was in the girls best interest, he was sure Kai wouldn't appreicate Grecia's show up, yet he also knew that the last thing he wanted was to raise a war with the Queen of Leah Abyss who would be rather upset if he didn't inform about Delphine - what a drama. "Fine, but you take the credit for what happens when they get here," River pointed out to Bast, knowing that no matter what that Kailani would be able to see it was in Delphine's best interest. Then dialed the number of Grecia, knowing she could inform Maera as well.

Victoria caught the keys thrown to her, "thanks," she exhaled a little bit. "I will - see you soon" she walked out of the bar and let her fingers trace from his right shoulder to his left as she past him on the way, heading outside to find Cyrus. "Hey, we need to get you to the casino, Delphine needs you," she said, well she didn't know what had happened. But it hadn't sounded good at all, so all the really could do was to get going. Victoria turned to the Lamborghini Miura in a dark green colour and brown leather seats, her and Linus had found that night and sat inside, to start the engine. "Are you coming or what?" She waved for him to hurry.

River walked out front when he caught the scent of his brothers. "I didn't think you would bring company," he looked towards Clay who just nodded a bit. "You mentioned broken hands, and while Ace is good at everything he does - you did point out to bring her the best possible treatments, right?" Clay pointed out with a firm slightly forced smile. River just nodded a bit. "I did, well come on in," he waved his brothers inside and closed the doors once again, then gestured them to follow him to the pool area. Ace and River in the same room who would have thought.

Cyrus was working on his own car for once. A job that wasn’t messy. He was in the middle of cleaning it by hand. He heard Victoria approach but didn’t turn his eyes away from the job at hand. Well, he did when she mentioned Delphine. He let go of his caring tools immediately and was quick to move towards her. He didn’t even take time to form words to reply her and was quick to get into the car. He was purely lucky that he hadn’t been doing dirty work now that he was going into his fine car.

Ace arrived with his little brother, meeting their oldest brother. He simply raised a brow at River as he mentioned the company. Whenever River called, he knew that it was big business. River and Ace didn’t really talk after all. So of course, he would bring someone who could help too. A trusted person who could focus on some things, so Ace could focus on others. Ace followed right behind River, trying not to judge the casino too much. It was incredible how different the two brothers were. They were fine men in their opposite categories.

Bast shrugged and had no problem with telling Kailani that it had been because of what had happened to Delphine that he had decided to call them; of course, he would love to tell that it had also been because of her, but Kailani always wanted as little as possible to do with her family, so if she had been alone in that room and had solely been the object of this kidnaping he would never have dared to suggest it.
His eyes looked towards the door as River opened it and made sure to step aside as the two men walked into the pool room where Delphine was still sitting a little further out than the edge. It wasn’t even because she was that badly hurt, but it was like her entire mind had stopped working, retreated into some dark place where she didn’t feel the pain at all. Her tears had dried out, become part of the water that her feet and hands were dipped in. She was still sitting in the dress she had been wearing when she had gone to her concert. A beautiful dark blue gown was ripped in several places, mostly because she had tried to fight to get away. The dress's colour almost matched the markings over her broken or shattered hands. Her left little finger wasn’t even working as several bones had been completely pulverised.
But again, it didn’t seem like the hands were the problem but the mind itself as she didn’t even notice the newcomers nor that they started looking at her.

Clay entered the casino, well he had seen River one time after Adonis had bitten Letha. He hadn't seen the siren before though, actually other than Cyrus who entered he recalled him from the hospital form weeks ago, as he stepped closer. Clay for a moment wished they had taken Ash with them, knowing more about the brain after trauma then he did, or after the book at least. Clay could easily go in her head and mend the stress the mind was under, calming it down, he just didn't want to fully overstep, and moved his eyes towards her hands. "How about we give you something to sleep on, and then we take care of it?" He looked into the siren's eyes with a warm smile. "You can relax now, it's okay," after all it would be easier to bring her to the hospital and get her under actual observation and care than here without anything to help other than their knowledge and powers.

Victoria got the car in gear and then set off full speed, no care for the speed limit to get to Southside. Making them reach before they knew it, even though it felt like hours, it wasn't. Victoria parked the car and got out, moving towards the doors, and unlocked the door for them, so they would be able to enter the empty casino. She closed the door behind them, smelling some familiar scents, just wishing it was under better circumstances, and nodded for Cyrus to follow her where the scent went. Then realizing more. That Cyrus was related to River, you couldn't really catch it on Orion's scent, and seeing Orion also made her stop for a second, because well even though she knew he looked like Anthony - it did come as quite the scare. Then she saw Delphine with two of the doctors from the hospital, but moved towards Bast - seeing Orion wasn't really the person she walked closest towards now, even though she knew. "Where is Kai?" She asked with a lower voice, mostly because seeing Delphine in this state only really did make one assume the worst.

River looked over at the boy Victoria had arrived with, his son. It was odd to see really, he had never really went to talk to the kid, or done anything really. Now wasn't the time either, even though he could see clearly how bothered Orion was to the fact that Delphine had wanted his brother's company more than his, but he also accepted it.

When Ace got into the room it didn’t take long before he could feel the different kinds of injuries the siren had gotten. He also picked up that there was a man present that he hadn’t believed was still living. He kept a sharp eye on this man while he moved closer to the pool. “Why are you hanging out with Anthony?” he said and glanced towards his oldest brother. It hadn’t been that long ago since he had told Ayah that this man was dead. Ace knew that when he was done with the work, he was about to take care of, he would make sure that the man died one more time and stayed dead. Ayah didn’t need that kind of negativity in her life. Many didn’t need that kind of negativity in their lives. Even though Ace was a man who saved people, that man would be a man he wouldn’t safe.
Ace didn’t care much for the fact that she was sitting in the water, even though he knew that sirens could get more aggressive when they were in water. He had this feeling that it wouldn’t be the case here. So, he did everything he could to get close enough, not minding that his clothing might get wet. Things like that happened sometimes. “We are here to help and will take care of you,” he told the siren, hoping she would be able to let herself relax a little. Being in chock could do a lot of interesting things to the body, and he was almost glad that she at least was sitting down and hadn’t gone crazy believing they would hurt her.

Cyrus had of course asked Victoria about what had happened, but she hadn’t known much, but the way she was driving told him enough, which was why he was trying to mentally prepare himself for whatever he was coming out to. When the car was parked, he was quick to get out and followed her all the way inside and to the room where they kept Delphine. Cyrus eyes caught the look of Anthony, and for a moment he was about to comment on it, but even though the man looked completely like Anthony there was something about him that surely didn’t seem like him, so he chose to focus on Delphine.
He didn’t hesitate a to approach the two doctors who was trying to take care of Delphine, even though he knew that he had fled the hospital where one or both of them had been responsible for his care. “Delphine-” he called while he got in and was quick to wrap his arms around her, “Hey, I’m here,” he spoke softly.
