Slowly but surely each day got a little longer than the one before, the calendar read spring and in two months summer. This day summer came early or so it felt, with the rising sun putting some warmth into the air and soil.
To say Raven had slept well that night would be an understatement. Nightmares had kept her up most of the dark hours, but as soon the golden sunbeams broke through the curtains and kissed the freckled face, all tiredness seemed to disappear as if the warm light filled the small frame with instant energy.
The exceptionally warm weather lured people to the park, Raven not any different than the rest. She was only human, so she still thought for now...
She adjusted the bag strap on the shoulder without slowing down, as she moved towards some benches near one of the fountains. Even with a lot of leaves still missing on the greenery of the park still managed to hold some of its magic. Light playing chase with the shadows, children playing on the nearby playground, giggling as the swings made their stomachs twist. Old couples holding hands while they took a stool around the paths of the park and all the in-between. It really was one of the young brunette's favorite places here in Gaia.
Raven took setting on one of the benches with a good view over the people who would pass her by. All while blue lines of ink filled the white paper in the sketchbook, perpetuate those who caught her eye the most.
Before she would know it one hour took the first and then the next, as the clock was approaching 12 PM. First realizing how time has flown by when she lifted the beige coffee cup to her lips to find out it was empty, to her big disappointment. Brown eyes broke free from the paper only to glaze around the surroundings, and that was when she was him. The king. For a brief moment, she took herself starring right at him with a little part of her hoping he would look her way.
Would he even remember her?
