Final preparations for Christmas - Maxence

Ahh... Finally out and about again. Finally, he was free to do whatever he pleased, once more. After ten years being locked up... In the isolated psychiatric ward. He had no clue why he'd been assigned to the mental hospital here in Gaia and not the one in Manchester as that was closer to where he'd grown up, but oh well. Now he was here, free as the bird yet again, and he'd already been assigned a small apartment that he'd be able to afford on welfare money, until he managed to get a job.

He stood there for a second on the pedestrian walkway, closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath of air, before sighing with delight and then walking down the road, looking around himself while stuffing his hands into the pockets of the decidedly fluffy jacket he was wearing. His hair unruly and tousled as always, an almost permanent gleeful smile on his lips as he watched all of the Christmas decorations all around him. What a wonderful time of the year to be let out!

Some people seemed to be a little bit freaked out by just how cheery he was though, a lot of people seemed to avoid him in one big circle... Not that he wasn't used to it, instead he just smiled and waved at random people on his way over to the nearest clothes store, trying to see if he could find some new stuff he'd like. He found a santa hat to start with, so, soon, that was on his head, a bit crooked, as he walked from that shop down the road again, trying to see if anything else would catch his fancy.
