He let her figure out whether she was going to stay or not, but then she clearly figured out that she wanted to go. Stepping aside she let her get out of the trailer before he followed, “yeah well, don’t you want to lock up before we go?” he said with a teasing smile “would be bad if you just got it, and when you came back there wasn’t any furniture left” he added with a cheeky grin and with the lifted brow it was clear to see how he found himself rather funny, even if one could argue that he was right.
When the trailer was safely secured again, he walked with her back to the car so they could drive to the casino, “let’s just hope that Kailani doesn’t skin me for taking one of her most valued girls, she tends to get really protective of those that she hires and likes” he hummed, putting his hands in his pockets while he had a watchful eye on the surroundings.

She lifted a finger up and spun around the second he mentioned that she forgot to lock the trailer, "right," then skipping over and locked it before putting her keys in her bag.
Victoria then while they walked towards the car lifted her hair up and put it up into a high ponytail, good thing about keeping a hair-tie around your wrist of all most all time. Then looking over at him when mentioning Kailani, chuckling a little bit. "Yeah, she does - doesn't she?" Victoria took a sharper breath in and put her arms back down once her hair was done. It was still almost unbelievable that she was going to be able to return here again, that she was now able to live in Southside again. Victoria exhaled again. Then heading to the car they could once again take of in the direction of Aston, which was odd because every time she left there was a part of her that feared she would never return again.

He made a noncommittal sound as Victoria agreed; “Both her and River, it’s funny how people can seem like they care so little, and when it comes down to it, if they really care, they will move mountains to make sure that you are all right” he hummed as he opened the doors to the car and got in. Now he could get someone else to drive her back because it wasn’t like there wasn’t work to do, but he wanted to make sure she at least was good on her way, and then they could talk about how she wanted to come back. “So maybe this would be a good time to talk about what you are expecting now”, he said as he looked over his shoulder before driving off and returning to Aston. Sometimes it could be hard to get back when you were used to things going a certain way, and even though things would be vastly different than when Anthony had been there, it wouldn’t be like when Jack had run things either.

It didn't surprise nor did she disagree, many people had in the past believed even Jack to be uncaring or not care at all based on how little he spoke. It was possible it was then she had learned to read more onto the body language and the energies people carried. Even so, you could still get misled. "Yeah, its quite odd isn't it?" She chuckled a little bit, feeling some warmth spreading out her chest as she opened the car door.

Victoria sat down in the car and closed the door, while putting on her seatbelt she turned her head to him while he talked. "Well," she folded her full-lips slightly, thinking his words shortly over, "I've seen various of different people run this place, some better than others. You said I could get back behind my bar again, which is what I first and foremost would like, to help if there is anything you... and Francis need, - besides even if you think the serpents are easy enough to handle, a familiar face who understands the way most their minds work will only make things run smoother," she replied back with a little chuckle in the end. Serving as both Veronica and Jack's right hand, she knew the serpents, their ways and was raised in the rules and the systems that had created the serpents over the years, and no matter how many changes that would be, you always had to respect some traditions or ways of the people you were leading if you wanted some sort of peace. "What are you expectations, if not only of me being back here - then of Southside, is it how you hoped for it to be?" Victoria turned her head towards him. Right now she just wanted to settled back into realizing she was home, and she only expected that right now.

He listened to what she said, nodding a little when she explained that what she wanted the most was getting behind her bar again. Now that was something that could be arranged, and as she said, it would help them if there were a familiar face backing up their claims to run as leaders. “All right”, he hummed, letting his hands grab around the wheel.
“I also just want to make sure that you might end up being excluded in some of the things since my brother and I have our way of doing it, just so you don’t think that you’ll come back and it will be completed as it used too” he added, not that she would be cut out of everything. Still, it was also essential to let her know that even though he, they, had done a lot for her now, it didn’t mean that he fully trusted her, at least not in the way he trusted his brother.

“It’s a shithole, always have been, and I’m guessing it won’t take long before Helio tries to butt in on the area in the hopes of gaining some of it back” he shook his head a little; there were many things that needed to change. Even more so, the city needed to be strengthened if it was supposed to stand on its own two feet and truly be a paradise of the outlaws. Right now, it was just a slump.

She nodded a little, understanding that their was a change in how things were to be run. And she knew both Linus and Francis would have whole other pattern of doing things than Jack and leaders before him. Victoria understood and therefor she simply nodded and didn't comment much further on it.
The mention of Helio made her shake her head a little bit, "yeah, there is no doubt he is playing out when to stick his head out," Victoria let out a small sigh. Serpents and Coyotes being in each others hair for so long now, it was nothing knew. Mostly it was the coyotes who attacked the serpents, in hopes of being able to get a show of force- especially Ares were known to be rather aggressive if pushed enough. "How much to you know about the Coyotes?" She wondered, mostly because it was never fun to meet an enemy blind, and even if Victoria wasn't happy about it, she did know a bit more about the gang than other people in the Serpents. What a mess she had been back when she had gotten herself involved with Helio.

He licked his lips and thought about how to answer that. “I know enough”, he said, knowing it wasn’t a perfect answer, but it wasn’t like he didn’t know anything about the Coyotes or how they had tried to take the turf away from the Serpents that had just ended up with them being pushed back, and now they were roaming around the abandoned smile. Which probably was why Eris had decided to put up shop there, always playing all of the angles that she could. Which made her very good at her job, but it also made her unreliable because you could never be sure if she had your best interest at heart. But it would be a cold day in hell where he would start trusting a soul demon, even if they were good at what they did.
“But I’m guessing by the way you are saying it that you have a lot more to offer than just, ‘enough”, he decided to add while keeping his eyes on the road in front of him.

"I do," she clicked her tongue a little bit, keeping her eyes on the road. One of the advantages Victoria did have in his life was that many people underestimated her, if not because of her smaller frame or being a shapeshifter, then because she was a woman. "I know he wants from Southside, where his vision is from before he took over. A little bit of history with some of his members," she made a small shrug. There was a reason why Veronica back then had called her the snake charmer, because she had a way with getting people to tell her stuff, simply because she understood how to listen; and many people appreciated that more than they realized. "I like my people to know who they are dealing with rather than going in blindsided, you kno'" she moved her head towards him shortly and took another and deeper breath in while looking out the window again. "He can knock one out by a simple touch, putting people to sleep make you recall everything you've ever dreamt before - but next to his son Ares who can travel through mind to mind while you sleep and live in your head as your own personal horror movie villain, they are mostly active at night. Which also renders those powers mostly unusable while their victims are awake, so just don't let him get under your skin - at least if you don't have anyone to wake you back up," then of course there was Ximena and the others, just as dangerous if you pissed them off, but then again the Serpents were dangerous as well. "Helio is rumored to have seeking alliance with Archibald Barnes, Jack used to have an alliance with him but I guess it got scratched when he was kicked out by Anthony," she shook her head a little bit.

He hummed as she started to explain what they were up against, which only made him write behind his ear that he needed to get protecting spells that would keep out people in his head. And of course, the other serpents, because you were only as weak as the weakest link like anything else. It would be enough to make the whole card tower fall to the ground if one was easily persuaded.
With a small twist of his mouth, it was clear that he was thinking, putting things together so he could deliver them to Francis; he would know what to do and get all of the threads together. That was what they did, he executed the job, and Francis made sure that everything would run smoothly; a small huff left him as he was told that Archibald Barnes had allied with the Coyotes. “Right, the man that has been out of the game because his little witch got snatched? Please, that man doesn’t know how the business works. If all it takes is removing one important piece off the chessboard, he isn’t any threat whatsoever – but still, I’ll start calling around, get some more hardened players to the Serpents; I know just the lady,” he said with a slight hum, hoping that Esme would be able to come if he called, even if it might take some time before she would actually show up. But when you worked against that, you needed people like her.

It wasn't Archie himself that she was thinking most about, but the people whom were aliened with the guy. Of course she had no idea who Linus and Francis had on their side when it came to a good deal, and in the world of criminals the law worked entirely different. There was also a huge difference in who Jack posed as a threat verses who Linus did, also Linus was far more experienced in the area. So, she just nodded. "To be fair I haven't done much research in Archibald Barnes - but the common people in Southside and the smaller gangs, those I do know plenty about," she nodded once again mostly to herself. And after working along side Kailani and the others, it was insane how easy it was to get people to spill their secrets, and she knew Kailani loved it, just giving the people a bright pretty smile and out were all the secrets. "Landon is a gifted one too, he just hides it well - but he is possibly one of the most loyal people I've met, keep him close," she nodded a little bit. No matter how crazy things had gotten, Landon always had her back, which made her have his.

“Well, I have to be honest, I have most of my knowledge from River, and he hates the man” Linus chuckled, then he nodded when she told him that he should keep an eye out for Landon, not because he wouldn’t be loyal, but because he had potential to be something more. “I’ll remember that,” he said with a small smile, then he drove up the casino and turned toward her. “Now, don’t be a stranger, and just come by the bar when you feel ready to work,” he said, looking at her with a smaller smile; now, he would have loved to go in, but once again, he had places to be, things to steal and a business to run.

They drove up to the casino again, and she turned her head towards him once again, making her chuckle low, "this has an odd sensation of deja vú." Last time they had been sitting like this had been the day before things really had changed for her. "I will, who knows maybe you don't have to wait long," she teased a little bit, letting her lips curl up into a slightly cheekier smile. "Perhaps then I can actually get you to join me for a drink," Victoria ran a hand through her hair again, unplugging her seatbelt, and reached for the door, then opened it to walk out. Victoria closed the door and turned around so she could look through the window, giving him a little wave, before she bounced inside towards the casino.
