But there was regrettably little she could do about it, so she did what she could, and that was getting the best out of her day, like sitting here and talking with someone. It had been a very long time since she had gotten that chance.

As she had said, it must be good to experience the kind of love he had experienced than not to. It also translated to the fact that she needed to break the link with River, so she could go out and find the sun in her life.

She blinked a little; she had never thought about it like that; her tongue glided over her lips as she sat there in a moment of silence; maybe one day, she would be brave enough to ask him, to try to get under his skin and see why he always did that, always moved away when she got close to someone, just like when she had fallen in love with Aaron.
“I need his mother to do it, as only she can break the link, at least that’s my theory” she let her tongue run over her lips; “No grievance to your wife, but I don’t really trust witches,” she said with a slight smirk, especially not when she so often visited River, something that Lucille typically stayed clear off, there was something about that woman, how you could feel that half of her heart wasn’t there anymore, rotted away like the man she had given it too. Horrible thought, perhaps, but it was still the truth. She didn’t trust Rebekah, nor what the woman hoped to gain from everything she did.
