Birthday boy - Theodore

Jamie was standing in the kitchen, fully distracted by the oven and stove, both things into play not to mention an oven in another kitchen. He was trying to make Theo's birthday extra special. He had a feeling Theo had been a little down lately about not being bad home and worried about his friends. Jamie couldn't fix either thing, but he could try and make them better. He was in the midst of cooking many of Theo's favorite dishes. On the table laid a wrapped gift and an envelope with a card. The gift was a ring. Not just any ring. A ring that had a calming effect on whoever wore it. Theo might not be able to stop his friends from hurting, but with this, he could at least calm them down a bit. Jamie was of course trying to please Theo, but he also needed the distraction. After hell, he had not been in a good place. This was a great way to find back to himself again.

It was hard being all upbeat and everything. Especially when it seemed like everyone kept putting a little bit of pressure on ones shoulders. People kept sacrificing themselves like it was a sport by now. He was well aware of Jamie not being well. It was a time for everyone to find their ways back to themselves again - Theo was so happy Reginald and Mariella had taken the chance to just go away for a little while. Theo was spending most his days in the training room to keep himself sane. But he was worried about everyone, at most also for what Nimue might do to Lion. Lion being Lion he meant he could handle everything that was put on him, and he might be able to - but could he live with the aftermath? Theo stopped in the hallway and turned his head to the side when he smelled food. But not just any food, his favorite food. He walked to the wall and passed his head through to see Jamie.
"Well well well, of course its you cooking up some good stuff," he smiled before continuing through the wall and sat on the kitchen counter for a little while. "Oh man, you always treat me so well," he chuckled lightly before jumping down.
"You want a hug?" - "I'm gonna give you a hug," he answered his own question and grabbed Jamie from behind and lifted him a little up before letting him go again.
