She put the dress on and felt the pain burning through her, tears falling down her cheeks as she saw how he moved around and opened the terrace door. Her eyes followed him, rooted to the place as he told her to take her time, as he went for the bottle and as he did, she looked away, moving her hands up and aggressively using them to remove her tears; she ran to the entrance, and with shaking fingers she managed to get into her sandals, in her hurry she stumbled and banged her knee into the door, feeling how it hurt—but was nothing compared to how her heart was shattering. She shouldn’t have said anything; she should have been able to keep her emotions in check. It wasn’t until Mena had managed to get halfway down the road that she realised that she had somehow managed to skin her knee.
She looked up; the rain came pouring down, like the sky had decided to open up and cover her in its tears, washing her own away. It was then she screamed, letting her anger, torment, and sadness flow from her mouth—a scream that made the glass around her vibrate until she couldn’t take it anymore and ripped the dress off her and jumped into the ice-cold sea.

Tamotsu got dressed while she decided to run out. He licked the liquor off his lips while he looked at the bottle. He both heard how she hurt herself and could smell how her knee got hurt. She ran out. It didn’t take long before the sky broke and water poured down. With a soft sigh, he made sure to close every door and window, and with a press of a button on what seemed to be a controller, every way in and out was closed off and no one could look inside the building, without some supernatural sight.
Glass was shattered, things were turned upside down, and at some point, the house quieted down. He had this feeling that things were going to change, and he was uncertain whether or not people would notice that he felt different. He knew very well that Ximena was going to act differently.
