When dealing with the brothers Fintan Mccoy, one would know that nothing came without a handful of chaos and mischief. They didn’t wait or came knocking on doors just because they wanted to say hi. When they showed up, people knew that there was going to be trouble, one way or another. Now, it wasn’t for everyone, but Linus had always been in the belief that he was too old to care about what other people thought. No, he would rather live his life as if there was no tomorrow. Take what he wanted and left little behind. Which he typically did, with the help from his trusted partner in crime, his twin brother Francis.
Now, it had always been Francis that was the genius when it came to finding a target and set the plan in motion. Where Linus was the guy you send inside and were sure that he would come out with the exact item that you had send him in after. And of course, everything else that had been of value.
At this point they were on several watch list at this point, Interpol had been after them for quite a while now. But to the curtesy of knowing the right people. They had been misled a couple of times, so they could get away. Not that prison had been able to keep them out for long. Which might have been the only time the brothers had been truly apart, when one of them got away and the other was incarcerated. Linus pulled stepped inside the casino, looking around as he shook his jacket a little. The rain falling off before he used his power to steam his clothing making the last of the water evaporate. He looked around as a brilliant smile formed on his lips as he saw both Kai and Lucille standing behind the bar. Lucille looking up and closing her eyes rather quickly. “You got to be kidding me” she whispered slightly to herself, opening them to Linus charming smile on his lips. “Ladies how are you both doing?” he asked, letting his eyes travel from Lucille towards Kailani tipping his head a little looking towards his brother. “Is River in the building?” he asked, letting his fingers glide over his lip before he turned his gaze back to the two beautiful women.

Oh sweet, the place River had founded here, of course you couldn't get the same out of a place in Athena as you could in Russia and some of the other parts of the world, but it would do. It would for sure do. Getting inside, Francis took a well calculated look around, almost inspecting the area as they reached the two beautiful ladies, sending them a dashing smile. "Oh I've missed you as well Lucille," he left a small unbothered chuckle before looking towards Kailani, who exhaled a little bit, knowing chaos was bound to happen soon enough. "Well hello, here to visit River huh -" she barely got to finish her sentence before Francis chuckled a little, "don't worry darl' we will be around for a while, I sure hope, now, is River around?" He gestured to the fact that his brother had asked few seconds ago about River's whereabouts. "Well he is, but I reckon he is on the phone. Why don't you stay for a drink and I'm sure he will be right down here again, keen to see the two of you again," the siren replied with a slightly bigger smile than before getting two extra glasses up, and poured the house' best whisky up for the guys. "Mind telling me what is luring you two handsome fellas here, or is it just you miss all of our faces?"

Lucille turned a rather deadpan look towards Francis, mostly because at this point, she had just had enough for surprises. “Sure are” Linus said with a smirk and turned around. His elbows placed against the bar desk, as he observed the many people that was walking around. It was almost tingling in his fingers to relieve some people of their belongings.
He turned his head over his shoulder and winked towards Kailani “You know that every man that has ever laid his eyes on you, will keep going the rest of his life missing you” he said with a cheesy smile on his lips. Lucille just eying him, before she turned around and pulled down the rum that she knew that Linus liked to drink as he had nodded to the fact about getting something to drink. But the only one not understanding that you are no longer a woman that is available, would be our own least favourite incubus” he hummed, licking his lips. Now, at this point he knew that the default setting for most people was to dislike Timothy, he also had a tendency to make it very easy for them. “Is Nathalie still hanging around?” he asked, trying not to sound too obvious. “She has a new plaything” Lucille said rather matter-of-factly as she poured the liquor in the glasses and pushed it towards the brothers.

Kailani chuckled a little bit and licked her lips shortly,  "you know what Linus, keep the flattery up and you might be lucky most of the evening - not that you ever had needed much extra luck on your account," she replied back with a small smirk, then rolling her eyes a little by the mention of Timothy without they even had to actually speak his name.   "Well, that poor fool got himself killed again last week, stupid little piece of trash," she mumbled pouring up a drink for herself too and downed it. Not that it was a surprise to any more than just a fact. Then they asked about Nathalie, well no, they hadn't seen her around much. To be fair between Russia and here, they had been more surprised about the encounters they had met here - some more pleasant than others.

Francis took the glass that was poured and pushed towards him, moving the glass in delicate circle like movements not taking his eyes off the demon or the siren. "But you've been busy, takes me right back to the good old days," he chuckled an inch dry but meant it. "Gentlemen, it's always like good old times whenever you arrive," River arrived gracefully half running down the stairs with a big teethy smile on his lips as he made it towards the bar with his arms open in excitement. "Always great to see you two," Francis pointed towards River, "see that is the sort of excitement I need in my life," he laughed a little bit before taking a sip of his drink. Oh, Francis could feel it, this was going to be great.

Linus winked at Kailani as she told him, that if he kept the flattery up, he might be lucky tonight. But she corrected herself, because he was always lucky. It was just a matter of perspective and how you looked at things. Now the brothers hadn’t been dealt the best cards growing up. And of course, most of that, could be blamed on who they were now. But even if someone tried, there wouldn’t be much success with changing them. Because they loved their life, and who in their right mind would change something when you were living as you wanted too? He pitied those that always walked around thinking they could do better, but never did anything about it.
Linus looked down and a small chuckle left him, of course Timothy had gotten himself killed. Well, at least the kid was born with the ability to come back. Maybe that was the part that made him the cocky little shit he was. “It’s the immortality part dear, it makes any person a fool” he said with a smirk as his eyes found River as he came walking down the stairs and walked towards them. Linus put his hand out to great their old friend. “Always here to make sure that you’ll keep up that happy attitude about seeing us” he laughed, nodding towards his brother agreeing with the fact it was this kind of excitement that they needed.
He took his glass and took a step away from the bar. “Maybe we could talk in a more private setting, another person will be joining us later” he said with a smirk on his lips, anyone that knew him would now that something big was about to go down.

See, this was the kind of news the old vampire needed to brighten his days. Especially after what had been going on over a week ago, how confusing that had all been, now it was beginning to look like something. Great. He took Linus hand, and pulled him in close for a brief moment and gave him a small clap on the upper back before letting him go again, doing the same with Francis. River only looked towards Kailani and Lucille for a second. They wanted to talk in a more private setting, which already by the look of it had River's excitement loaded, it was far too long since he had been up to no good in this sort of sense. And who would be better at giving him the kick he needed than the Phoenix brothers? No one really came close, it was rare if any. Well his own crew was doable it wasn't that, this was just a bit more exciting. "Of course, of course, come with me," he started to walk towards a hidden door he had around one of the corners, before turning around. Francis looked towards his brother shortly with the same little smirk, before turning to follow River. "Lucille, would you tell Orion to join us when he gets back, I'm sure he would hate to miss out on any of this - and of course send their contact on our way when they show up," he looked towards Lucille and Kailani before once again turning on his heel to get to the hidden door that would be leading to the casino's hidden agenda and a far not enough used place yet. Francis followed River down to the basement area of the casino. Not that there was missing anything, still a few knowable faces in the corners of the bar area down here. Because of course River had enough guys on hand in times of needing anything done.

River walked towards a table and sat down with his arms open, "so tell me, what's the plan?" His smile bright and playful looking towards the brothers, wondering what they had in their sleeve, but he had no doubt that it was something good. So, he let them sell him their pitch to what master scheme they had come up with now, intrigued that was for sure.

Linus clapped River’s back as he did his and took a step back looking towards the succubus and siren eying them. Then he followed along with River after he had given his commands, by the look on Lucille she was about to have enough. He had always found it interesting how they were still bound together. He was sure if they asked, Juliya would be able to break a blood bond. Given how powerful a blood demon she was. But rumour had it, she had lost her way and was walking around without her royal status to back her up.
But that would be a story for another time, as he stepped through the hidden door that River lead them through. Linus walked towards a chair and placed his hands on the back of it. Giving River a bright smile as he asked what the plan was. “What, just like that? I think you forget who you’re dealing with” Linus laughed “our contact has all the plans and printouts, when he comes it will be easier, but” he pulled the chair out and sat down.
“You know the story of the German safe expert? How he made four safes that each is harder to crack than the other?” he asked, leaning back in his seat giving the older vampire a half smirk. “Well, the Valkyrie is here in Athena, and we are going to break in and steal it’s content, around two hundred million dollars” Linus let his tongue glide over his lip, now two hundred million dollars were a lot of cash, but it wasn’t why they wanted to do it. It was the thrill, of opening a safe that was said to be impenetrable.

River let out a short laugh, "have I? then please, remind me who I'm dealing with," he teased a little and breathed out. Well, eager to get something going that could give him a kick of excitement towards the right path was just what he needed. Not that he had expected them to roll out a scroll with their next master plan, well of course they could if they wanted. But River just wanted the ground idea from them, not their contact. Francis looked around the room shortly before looking back at his brother whom sat down, it didn't take Francis long before he as well pulled a chair out and sat down. He let Linus explain what the ground plan was with a little smirk pulling on his lip, taking a sip of the drink he had brought downstairs with him. River leaned a little forward placing his elbows on the table and entangled his fingers with each while listening very closely, very interested, to what Linus had to say. It was a lot of money, it sure was. But just like the brothers, River rarely did anything for the sake of the cash he could get from something, it was the accomplishment to him, the chance to feed his pride and ego - as well as a good chance to feel alive. River's lips pulled up in a half smirk, looking from Linus to Francis, then back at Linus. The vampire knew better than to question whether or not the Phoenix brothers had their information and thought it through before going in, because no matter the thrill, there was a plan. "I'm looking forward to see what your contact have on display," he said with a little nod. "You will of course get a fair share -" Francis licked his lips a little as he clicked his tongue taking another sip of the drink.

Linus nodded to what his brother said, no one was going to be cut out of the deal. Not when they were working on another person’s turf. The brother had a tendency to be brazen, but they weren’t stupid. They were on the wrong side of the law; they didn’t need to make unnecessary enemies in the process. Now they just needed their contact to show up, and the show could start.

Imogen stepped out of the car that she had stolen for the occasion. You better show up in style, right? She handed the Ferrari’s car keys to the valet and made sure that her suit jacket was sitting correctly before she walked inside of the casino with a briefcase in her hand. She walked towards the bar and gave the beautiful siren a bright smile. “Hello” she said with a light and soft voice, leaning against the counter. She eyed the succubus lifting a brow. She really did not care a whole lot for other demons, but she could control her emotions about that, as she turned her attention back to the beautiful blond in front of her. “I’m here to meet the owner and the Phoenix brothers” Lucille made a small cough as she tried to hide her laughter. “Well, they are in for a surprise, I’m so happy that I can show you into them” because that meant Lucille could see their eyes, when they saw that their contact wasn’t a man but a very beautiful woman.
A soft tug of Imogen’s lips showed that she knew that most people thought that she was a man, and not the woman that was standing in front of them. It kept her cover much better, and it was easier for her to blend in when walking around. She followed Lucille towards the hidden door and stepped inside. Walking towards the table “I’ll let Orion know where to find you when he shows up” she said with a smirk, as she looked at the confused stares from the men. Linus stood up “I’m sorry, but, who the hell are you?” he asked, Imogen letting out a soft chuckle. “Well, I’m Imogen, but you boys knows me as 53 n 71 n 3 l, or better known as Sentinel” – “But I” – “didn’t know I would be this good looking? Don’t worry, you aren’t the first to make that mistake” she hummed, and walked over and placed the briefcase on the table “now, lads, if we are over the fact that beautiful women can also be master hackers, can I introduce you to the plan that will put us in the history books of one of the best thefts?”

Kailani tilted her head a little bit by the beautiful demon who stepped closer to the bar area, "hello," she replied with a bit brighter smile. The siren looked towards Lucille, agreeing this was not what the chaotic three would be expecting to see now would it. Far from. Not that they would complain that she was sure of. Kailani just shook her head a little before she kept her work going as Lucille showed Imogen to the boys.

Francis turned his head when his brother took the words right out of his mouth, asking the demon who the hell she was. Narrowing his eyes a little bit by the reply they got, lifting his brows a bit surprised. Genuine surprised, "how -" he mumbled a little not really getting to complete a sentence before the rest of the room spoke. Not that he minded, he liked observing and adding if he felt like anything needed a final touch. After all that was what he did, made sure that everything was going smootly.Now River wasn't as shocked, when you thought about it most of the people who provided him with useful information happened to be women, Norah who always had some good information for him, he had Lucille and Kailani as well, not to mention Juliya. It seemed like Francis and Linus were the ones most surprised, well they were also the ones who had been in contact with the girl. River chuckled a little leaning back as she placed the briefcase on the table, "by all means, the floor is all yours," he gestured her to tell them what she had in store. Francis blinked a little bit looking shortly towards Linus, not what they had expected, far from, but oh well, now was the time to see if she actually had the nose for what they were expecting.

She winked at River, appreciating that he wasn’t as gobsmacked as the rest of them. Even though was always a thrill about seeing just how men would react to the fact of who she was when you saw her in real life and not just a voice on a screen. She opened the briefcase, and out there she found old blueprints about the safe that she had forged herself. “I’ve broke into their security office, and took pictures of their blueprints, then I made true copies from pictures” she explained placing the safe blueprints in front of Linus. Then she had the schematics of the bank that she moved towards Francis giving him a slight smirk. “For the master criminal” she hummed, before she then took her computer out and then she placed the briefcase back on the ground before she sat down in the chair. She took a sip from her drink, just like she liked it.
“Now, I’ve been reconning their surveillance, and I will be able to break through their firewall in patches, meaning that we have to work fast, and we have to make sure that we follow the plan to perfection, a slight error could end up getting us caught” she explained as she opened the computer and started tapping. “Now, the best way to get in is one will go through security as an inspector, and I will use that as a distraction to get the other, while security will follow the person that they have to make sure isn’t an imposter, they won’t look to closely at clientele” Linus looked at the blueprints of the Valkyrie “Your reputation doesn’t do you justice” he hummed, even though he was a proud man, he wasn’t too proud when someone was this good to their job. With her on their side, they could break into anything they wanted. “Where have you been all my life?” he said with a cheeky grin and looked up, she winked giving him a smirk “Remember, I’m only here because you contacted The Jackal, and they only work with the best, myself included” but to be honest, when Eris had contacted her with this job, she had jumped to the chance to get to work with the phoenix brothers, even though Eris had warned her that their methods didn’t match Eris’s own set of morals.
But the Valkyrie? Really, that was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Francis listened very carefully, making sure he didn't miss a single word that beautiful voice the demon spoke. Then she placed the blueprint in front of his brother, making him lean a little bit in to let his eyes get a glance of it, but he didn't look long before the schematics were moved towards him and he grabbed them, giving her a cheeky smirk, before his eyes wondered over them,  his mind already starting to wrap itself around all of it as if it was as easy as breathing - which in Francis' case it was. Spending so many years with his ability it was pure muscle memory by now. He moved his eyes up as she placed the computer down and listened in once again, placing everything together in his mind word for word, adjusting it with the prints they had available. Work fast, follow to perfection, the sound of child's play to Francis' ears. Just like Linus' Francis was rather impressed by the plan. "I always liked a little game of play pretend," he mused a little bit, looking towards the demon again.

"We won't get caught," River leaned a little in, placing an elbow on the table. Now, River had never been caught for more than seconds in his entire life. He had never met a place he couldn't break or get out from, so he knew even if something should end up going south, they wouldn't get caught. That was the beauty of all this. "We for sure wont, oh this is going to be great," Francis leaned a little back taking his glass and then another sip. Francis was just excited to get inside, because he knew how satisfied his mind would be just by seeing everything, finding out each way in and out of the place, every single safe other than of course the first and most perfect priority. And if something should go wrong, there was no harm in firing things up now where there? "So, where you want us at?" The vampire asked the demon, seeming like the knew what she was doing, he was sure she had a pretty clear idea for everyone of them to get in and their role to play. Or at least he wanted to hear her thoughts on the matter.

Imogen smiled towards Francis that mentioned that he had always liked a game of play pretend. But what caught her off guard, was the bravado of River, saying they wouldn’t get caught. She had always believed that one should never say never, and there was always risk, no matter how well thought out a plan was. But instead of saying anything, she just turned her attention back to Francis that conquered. Again, brazen words, even though she trusted her planning and she knew that she would be able to help with the most things. She always had backup plans on backup plans. Because something could go wrong, and you needed to know how to react if something didn’t go accordingly. But surely, they all knew that, so she decided not to say anything.

A bright smile formed on her lips, when she was asked where she wanted people. “Now, River you are already a well-known face, which makes it harder for me to smuggle you in. So, you’ll be our distraction, first Francis will pose as a wealthy costumer that is going to open an account, that will take you down to the room, where from you’ll be able to access the vault, we need to get into. It’ll also be easier to swipe the managers keys, the manger that you River will demand to see, because something has gone wrong with a very important wiring. Linus, will pose as the inspector and will be picked up by Francis when the manager leaves him alone, then, easy as pie you’ll be able to go down to where the vault is, and I’ll make sure that the cameras won’t pick you up” she said with a bright smile, leaning back cracking her fingers. “I’ll also be able to, from the van, making sure that any silent alarm triggers will be disarmed, making sure you’ll get the time you need if something should go wrong”

Well, River couldn't anything but agree on being a perhaps too known face in the crowd on these parts. But distraction he could do that, and sure did have various of ways to play the part - did he even have to play pretend? Francis nodded a little bit with a boyish grin playing on his lip, already feeling very ecstatic about the entire thing. "Well then I guess we all know what we would be doing," Francis chuckled a little looking at River,  "Indeed we do."  

But you are forgetting one important thing," a voice sounded from the bar area, as Scorpio picked up his beer. It was fairly easy for him to cloak himself to sneak around into areas, and even without his cast of power he was still pretty good at getting around unnoticed. "The driver, which of course will be me, and I have as a matter of fact already found every single route available, that does let us avoid security cameras for the most part at least, just please tell me the van you have sort out actually can take a little kick," Scorpio placed his hand on the table, standing right behind Imogen looking at all the prints and files, before looking up towards his father and uncle. "And oh, Scorpio, pleasure," he looked towards the pretty demon he was standing rather closely next to, lifting his hand from the table only to hold it out to her for a moment.

A bright smile formed over Imogen’s lips, now she could use a drink as well. Linus nodded towards River and his brother, raising his glass to make a small cheers about a well-planned heist, that would put them on the map forever. They already had the title of an urban legend, but it would never be enough, there was always a bigger and better heist out there somewhere, it just had to be more challenging than the last one.
But before any around the table could do more than that, a voice was heard from the bar. All of them turned towards the demon, and Linus had to close his eyes for a moment and shake his head. His son had always had a flair for his entrances. Even though he wouldn’t have anything against if he stopped being so damned smug about it. Not really seeing the irony where he had gotten it from.

Imogen on the other hand, that had never really liked other demons widened her eyes. Mostly because something about him was so, different than she had ever felt before. It was drawing her in, like a moth to a flame. A driver, well she had thought herself as the woman for the job, but it would of course make her job much easier. Her tongue glided over her lips, and she narrowed her eyes as he decided to stand right beside her. Then turning around introducing himself. “Hmm” she hummed, taking his hand “Scorpio, so you be the one to watch out for, hmm?” she said with a teasing smile, before she pushed herself up from the chair and walked towards the bar to pour herself a glass of cognac. “Nice of you to make it son” Linus hummed with a crocket smile on his lips while he shook his head a little.

She took his hand, making him lift his brow just a little bit, he had not expected to feel this drawn to his father and uncle's contact when they had spoken about the guy they were meeting. But it wasn't just the simple law of attraction, or was it? He wasn't sure, "some would believe so," he lifted her hand up and placed a kiss on the knuckles. Then letting her go to the bar area looking towards his father as he spoke to him. "You are the one who says being fashionable late makes the best entrances," he held his arms out to the side with a small chuckle, then looking over his shoulder at the demon, "we know she is hot, don't let it distract you kid," Scorpio looked towards his uncle who stated the obvious. Now, Scorpio was perhaps easy to distract but he was also very goal orientated once he put his mind onto something. So, it wasn't like it was more than a dry joke from Francis, and luckily Scorpio did understand his uncle's annoyingly dull sense of humor. Which of course sometimes had some good points, but mostly the demon did nothing but roll his eyes of it.

“Mmhm” Linus hummed in a low growl, as his son mentioned that he himself lived off the famous words. None that he had made up himself, but no one really knew where they came from. So, on a good day, he might take credit. He was rather old after all.
Imogen looked over her shoulder as Francis commented on the fact that she was hot. Something that they shouldn’t get distracted over, or the kid shouldn’t at least. “Well then, now that it has been established” she turned around giving Scorpio a sweet smile, before it disappeared, almost as if it hadn’t been there all along. “Now, there is only one very important question that needs to be answered” she hummed, taking a sip from the glass, closing her eyes as the smooth taste of alcohol glided down her throat. Then she opened her eyes again and took them in. “When are we doing this?” a bright grin formed over her lips, clearly the demon herself couldn’t wait. But she was of course only the one that had gathered the plans, the real discissions had to be made from the leader of the whole gang. Which was why all eyes slowly glided towards Francis.

Now, there is only one very important question that needs to be answered, Francis turned his head giving the beautiful demon the attention that his nephew already had, letting a bigger smile sneak up upon his lips. When are we doing this? The demon's eyes along with the rest of the group. Francis clicked his tongue a little bit, "Tomorrow, at thirteen hundred hours," he announced looking around at everyone ending by looking towards Linus giving him a small nod. It was too late to strike now, and too early would gain too much attention. Around 1 pm there wouldn't be too busy on a weekday. "So, for tonight, ladies and gentlemen... Just enjoy yourselves, and be ready because tomorrow we are going to make history," Francis grabbed his beer up and lifted it up in a toast. Scorpio chuckled a little bit looking towards Imogen still, but kept his eyes mainly focused on his uncle as he announced when they were supposed to make the heist. River chuckling a little bit, "drinks are on the house."

Linus nodded when Francis declared what time they would strike. Then he got up, even though he wasn’t a man that would hold himself back from a good party, he didn’t like to indulge to much before a giant job. Especially not when it was something like this, were it meant so much to him. “Well then, I’ll retreat now, but you children have fun” he gave them all a big grin before he nodded towards River and his son, then lastly his eyes flicked towards the beautiful demon. Now it would be a shame if he said he wasn’t interested, but for now he backed away and tipped his invisible hat before disappearing out of the door that they had walked in from.

Imogen turned her attention from Linus that walked out and then turned her attention back towards Scorpio “So Scorpio, are you just as sensible as your father, or are you going to join me for a game or two out there” she challenged with a smirk dancing over her lips while she swirled her drink around in her glass, waiting for his answer. It was clear at this point that there was only one in this entire room that had the she demon’s attention.

Francis did a salute to his brother when he wanted to retreat, not because Francis had any plans on drinking till he blacked out, but a single drink or two wouldn't hurt anyone. At least if you asked him. But River and Francis moved to the other end of the bar, sitting and mostly just catching up over a few beers.

Scorpio watched shortly as his father took his leave, then turned his attention back to the demon, giving her a brighter teethy smile as she talked to him. His eyes locked with hers as she was the main reason he stayed behind. Even if Scorpio didn't mind and typical enjoyed the party scene, he liked to plan and map out his different routes. But Imogen, she kept his focus somewhere else entirely than his usual game, not that he wouldn't get the work done, after all he knew what he was doing. "And even if I was, what kind of person would I be, to turn down such a fine challenge?" he mused a little bit, keeping his eyes locked with hers.

Her smile became brighter as he agreed to go and see where their luck would bring it. Her hand closed around his and started walking out into the casino again. Her eyes travelling over the many options that there was for them to try.
Now Imogen had never been shy in going for what she wanted, nor was she against physical contact of any kind. Maybe it was the thing about her always being cooped up in her own apartment, day in and day out. So, when she finally re-joined the world, something needed to happen.
She finally decided on something she wanted and dragged Scorpio towards the craps table and handed the woman walking around with chips on a tray some money and she got what equalled the amount she had paid. “Okay, what do we bet on?” she asked, looking towards him with a cheeky smile before turning her eyes back towards the many numbers on the board that they could pick from.
