Forbidden thing have a secret charm

SURROUNDINGS: Moderately crowed ost seats not taken by younger students who consume a cup of coffee, or seven, while studying. ATTIRE: Tight fitting dark blue jeans, plain grey v-neck t-shirt with the front tucked into the jeans (link), black sneakers and a black barista apron (link). HAIR: Pulled into a high bun (link). MAKEUP: Just some mascara.

It had been one of those days where everything just seemed to go wrong, where everything Evangeline had touch either with her thoughts or hands just broke in some kind of way. She had spilled coffee more times than she would count on both hands, but lucky mostly near the coffee machines and not into some customer's lap, dropped a dozen of eggs in out in the back when she should have boiled them and just as the cherry on the top of the cake, she had cut herself in the palm of her hand while slicing the bread open as she was making a sandwich for lunch. Yet Eir had had the same characteristic warm smile dancing over her lips though the whole shift.

The shift was slowly coming to an end and in spite of her letting all the days unfortunate happing get to her, she couldn't help to look forward to taking off the apron and head out, to feel the last of the days warming sunbeams on her face, instead of through the large windows.
And that was when he stepped into the barista, turning everyone's heads his way. For a while, the whole world felt like it had stopped turning and as if he was in the center of it. Eir had had her back against the door, but as soon as the energy in the room changed she had turned around. As soon as her eyes landed on the captivating blond-haired stranger, it was as he stole both the air from her lungs and muted all sounds around them. The singing metal as a spoon hid the floorboards made her snap back to reality, blinking a couple of times while swallowing the lump of spit collecting in her throat, leaving the mouth dry as sand. “Hi welcome to Brewed, what can I help you with this afternoon?” she gladly asked with a smile that reached the dark eyes with ease, breaking the silence first. Trying to recall from the most hidden corners of her mind, why the angelic-looking male felt so familiar to her, trying not to let the search show on the sun-kissed face.
