WEATHER Clear skies a little cold now

“So where are we going?” Katelyn asked feeling giddy about going to her first ever party. The guy sitting behind the wheel smiled sweetly at her and took her hand and planted a small kiss on her knuckles before returning his hands on the wheel as they drove into the forest “It isn’t far now” he mumbled, and wasn’t really looking at her, Kate’s eyes narrowed, and a little wrinkle started forming on the bridge of her nose. But she pushed her bad feeling in the stomach down, she had used hours picking out the dress she was wearing, putting time in her makeup and hair. Her mother had even helped her out, so she ended up pushing the feeling under being nervous about it all.

Finally, he stopped, Katelyn knew these parts well, hadn’t there just been an accident with some demons here? “Dave I’m not sure this is a good idea to be out here” she said looking with worried eyes towards him, he put her arm around her shoulder and started walking longer ind. “I mean it Dave, there have been talks about demons” he nudged her a little closer “It’s fine, my father is in the police and he said that these parts are save now.” Right as he said it, she heard a twig snapping she stopped up and felt her whole body tensed up. Why had she left her gadgets at home!? “Dave, get back to the car” she said with a weary voice, but before she had a chance to say anything she felt him push her towards the dark “what –“ before she could say anything her mouth was filled with water, her eyes darkened. She heard laughter and when she finally came to a guy jumped down from one of the nearby threes throwing a bucket away from him. The whole place was illuminated with the front lights of the cars. “Katelyn, Katelyn, Katelyn” Goldie stepped forward, she had always hated that girl. “Did you really think that anybody would want you to come to their party? With your freakish family and weird ass eyes – not to mention how fucking strange and dumb you are” Katelyn was shaking as she put her arms around her. “Grow up, you don’t belong in the higher food chain, you are down in the bottom, and you just got reminded”

All the cars drove away, and Katelyn was left standing inside the woods all along. She found her phone and looked down her finger hovered over her mom’s name. But quickly put it away as she walked towards a familiar house. It was dark.
She went around the house and started crawling up to the first floor where Roman had his room. There was a small latch that you could sit on, and she quietly started tapping the window frame, hoping he would be there and hear her. Tears was gliding down her face, mixed together with the water that was still clinging to her frame.

It was late and lately he hadn't really been himself. Roman wanted to pretend that everything was fine, and like nothing was falling apart. But living here without Romeo? It just seemed unsettling even through he did make a good appearance of him being fine, half the time Ryan could call through his bullshit but the grief had also made Roman slightly more bitter. He was sitting on his bed just looking through his phone, mainly worried about his best friend that still navigated in the whole werewolf thing. His senses were distracted as he caught her scent, only seconds before she tabbed the window. Roman rushed over to the window with a worried frown on his face, as he opened the window, "Kate-" he didn't get to say more or ask more before he realized she was not only soaked, but also crying. "Come in," he said almost breathless as he held an arm out if she needed help getting inside. "You are freezing, what happened?" All the bitterness had stayed in bed, as he placed his hands on her arms, looking at her to check if she was hurt - she was hurt - otherwise she wouldn't be crying. "What happened Katelyn?" Roman asked concerned and took a deeper breath in. Soaked in her pretty dress, it didn't make sense at all to him - it wasn't raining, had she tripped and fallen into the lake? "It's okay,"he then just wrapped his arms around her, his own clothing would get wet - but it was really not on the top list of concerns. "Shh, it's okay.

She started sniffling as he finally opened the window and his voice reached her. For the most part she had kept it so well together, only a few drops of tears had escaped her eyes while walking towards his parents’ house.
“They” she started and just broke down as she felt his hands glide over her cheeks to make sure that she wasn’t hurt, there wasn’t any scares to see other than those forming in her heart. She knew she was different, the aura that had started flooding around her making everybody look just an extra time when walking by. The golden eyes that glimmered in the dark and would draw most people in for just a second or two. And then there was her wit and intelligence, it was mostly what landed her in trouble. People not understanding her, as she would come up with maths solutions in matter of seconds, always understanding how everything worked with little to no effort.
It ticked people off. As he wrapped her arms around her, she buried her head in his shoulder and just let go, and it wasn’t fair because she knew how much he was grieving over his lost brother. And here she was crying over people dumping water on her.
“It’s so stupid” she finally got out trying to remove the tears, but they didn’t listen to her commands that she wanted them to stop.
“They invited me to a party, but it was just – a prank, and then they left me out there in the forest” she finally got out and started laughing, but it was clear that she didn’t really meant it. “they called me a freak” her lip started trembling as she looked up to keep her eyes from tearing up again.

Roman took a deeper breath in as he observed her carefully. He had no idea what she would tell him, and he feared the worst. A girl in a pretty dress, soaked and in tears, it was never really a good sign. One of the things he feared every single day was if anything were to happen to his sisters one day, and he for everything at the moment hoped that someone hadn't laid a hand on Katelyn. Roman took a deeper breath in as she buried head in his shoulder, but let go shortly after. It's so stupid, he frowned a bit still waiting for her to tell him what was going on. Roman had never really had any trouble fitting in, he just chose not to. He didn't like people so it was fair to say, he didn't want to be fake smiling around a crowd of strangers. His brothers had always been quite the crowd pleasers - and it had its perks, giving him enough street credit to not being messed with. But seriously, who had their heads so far up their asses that they invited such a sweet girl like Katelyn, just to pull a prank on her? It was outrages and he already felt his temper trying to gain a bit control just by imagining what he would do to them. They even just left her there, at night, in the forest - how stupid were these morons?

They called me a freak, all this rage went away in a heartbeat as he looked at her, her trembling lips as she tried holding back her tears. Roman shook his head a little bit and walked closer to her, "hey listen to me." He escorted her to his bed so she could sit down and he sat himself down in front of her. Carefully he placed his hands around hers, and didn't remove his eyes from her face. "Never listen to them, they don't define who you are," he pointed out with a more serious look in his eyes. "They see different and it scares them - but you are not a freak Katelyn, you are absolutely beautiful and if they can't see that. They are idiots and they don't deserve your tears." Roman took a deeper breath in. He was raised in a pack, being around werewolves were a normal thing he was used to being a part of something. But he also had a lot of human friends growing up. People who didn't understand his werewolf nature, and he could pull his golden eyes away when ever he wanted. "And I'm here for you, always."

But she sat down and looked at him while he explained what had happened and why they had said what they had said. It made sense of course, she knew this was why they had done it. But it still hurt so much, to think that a boy had shown interest in her was something that didn’t happen often as most was to tongue tied to talk to her in the first place or just didn’t wanted to because she was one of the outcasts at school. Was good did an aura of beauty if everybody just saw it as a bloody threat? Maybe it was also the fact that her mother was a strong banshee, with powers that most would fear. A small laugh left her lips as he called them idiots, but it didn’t seem like it stopped the tears from running down her cheeks. When he said that he would always be there for her, she made a small hiccup and just started crying even harder. She glided down from the beds edge and put her arms around him. She put her forehead on his shoulder and wasn’t even thinking about how wet she would made him. Katelyn just pulled Roman closer into the embrace and hoped he would feel how thankful she was for that sentence.

“I’m so sorry for just coming here like this” she mumbled a little after “I didn’t want to go home” she whispered but didn’t really make any effort of pulling out of the his arms and warmth.

He hated to see her cry, with all the sadness already in his system it just kicked him in the stomach in another way than it would've done last year. Everyone in his house had a different way to express their grief, and he was envious for his brother being able to seem so collected in it all - or perhaps he was just taking that role in the storm, being the steady one. Roman didn't even have the strength in him to not let his brother do it, because Roman was selfish and he needed Ryan to be the rock in this. Their parents tried their best, and he was thankful for them being here for them. I’m so sorry for just coming here like this, her words pushed him right back to reality and he shook his head lightly. "No, no it's alright. You are always welcome here," he pointed out with a warmer smile. She didn't want to go home. Her mother would most likely ask a lot of questions, protective mothers were like that. His own mother always asked Rose and Riley ton of questions before they went to see a friend or even go somewhere. Then again, sadly they lived in a world where violent things were luring around the corner - one could never be too careful. "You can stay as long as you like, you know my mum adores you," he chuckled a bit still holding her close. "But you should really text your mum that you are with a friend.. otherwise she will just find me and kick my ass," he tried humor to light the mood a little bit up. It was the least he could do.

She just felt so safe here in his arms, like nothing could hurt her. Which also was why she shut her eyes and the tears slowly stopped running down her cheeks. A small breath made her chest raise as she glided a little further into Romans’ embrace. She started laughing a little bit, both over him saying she could stay as long as she wanted, but the fact that he was so right about her mother kicking his ass. “I think it’s Maya that you need to worry more about” she said with a small laugh and a sniffle. She hadn’t told him, had she? She knew that Roman and Maya was very close, that was why she remembered the thunderbird when she met her.

She pulled out of his embrace and found her clutch were her phone as in. She started writing Hi mom, the party was super boring so I went home to Roman and will stay the night, she looked at the message and even as she knew her mother wouldn’t be very mad about her spending a night at a boy’s house, she still wasn’t sure if she would maybe get angry. Her dad would, gosh, she quickly deleted Roman’s name I went to the walkers and will stay the night. She wrote and then send off the message. Katelyn put away the phone and look towards Roman “So, how much am I going to owe you, to get some of your clothes to put on instead of this annoying dress, that is also very wet?”

"Maya? Why would she kick my ass? I mean, she could without a doubt," he chuckled a bit by himself. Maya looked like a tiny ball of energy unable to be contained, but most people would be aware not to look wrong at her. He had seen her throw a few punches. He had even tumbled with her through the woods, and hurt his pride when she had kicked his ass more than once. Roman loved her either way. Roman let Katelyn out of his embrace, and let her type. He gently observed how she typed something, deleted it and wrote again. He couldn't imagine it being easy finding the right words always - he was a terrible texter, that was another thing.

He stood back up and walked over to his drawer, where he pulled out a hoodie and a pair of sweats, then he walked over to her and handed her them. "You don't owe me anything Katie," he pointed out with a warmer smile and took a deeper breath in. "I will.. ehm.. just walk outside.. just knock on the door when you want me to come back in." Roman took a few steps back, almost falling over a few textbooks on the floor behind him but thanks to his abilities he didn't even flinch or lose balance for more than a second. Then he spun around and walked towards the door, where he stepped outside and closed it. He just stood in the hallway and waited, hoping his siblings wouldn't show up.

Katelyn gave a big smile "I’ll tell you when I get out of these clothes” she said and watch how he stood up and walked over to his drawer. She got up from the looking down and saw the wet spot she had made. Great. “Thank you” she said, and then started laughing as he almost tripped over his books. What was he suddenly so nervous over? As he closed the door she started peeling of the wet clothes, which wasn’t very easy.

“Roman?” Roses eyes locked with Romans as she got around the corner with a bowl of icecream in her hand “What are you doing out in the hall?” her brows furrowed as she took a step closer, just as Katelyn opened the door “Roman? My sipper is stuck, can you help me unzip it?” Rose made big eyes as she saw the blond-haired girl standing in a beautiful dress hair soaking wet now that she looked closer. She could be nice and offer Katelyn to do it. But the sheer awkwardness of the situation for Roman just made her snicker, feeling a little like her old self.
“I look forward finding my favorit icecream down in the fridge tomorrow… or mom and dad might get the news about you hiding Katelyn in your room” she said and turned around and walked towards her room.

Katelyn bit down her bottom lip “sorry, but the zipper? I really need help” she mumbled and gave him her best smile.

"Fuck," he mumbled to himself as Rose approached him in the hallway. He should have seen it coming, the one time he didn't want to meet anyone out here - of course his sister would walk by. "What are you doing in the hall?" Roman replied back trying to play it cool, however his eyes widened like tea cups when Katelyn opened the door behind him. In two seconds he lost his words looking at Rose who looked at Katelyn. "You are the best," he replied in a low mumble and took a deeper breath in.

Then he turned around looking at Katelyn. "I will help," he replied with a softer voice as he walked back into his room. Roman scratched the back of his head a little and felt his heart skip a few beats ahead. He stood still for a while as if he forgot for a second what she had asked of him. Then he blinked a bit, "oh yeah right.. the zipper," he reminded himself and took a few steps closer to her. Roman placed his hand around the zipper, and the other one gently on the dress to hold it while he started zipping the dress down. He could feel his heart beat so annoyingly fast and his jaw tensed for a short moment. Roman zipped it down then let go of her and took a step back. "There," he breathed out and then turned around.

It was clear how much the siblings in this house stuck out for each other, even if it was in a typical sibling way. If you could even describe it as that? “Yeah, the zipper” she giggled, and turned around so he could look at the damage. Didn’t seem like he had any problems as she felt how the dress slowly loosen its grip around her body. But it wasn’t the first thing she noticed; it was the warmth from his fingers as they briefly grazed her exposed skin.
“Thank you” she said almost breathlessly and looked shortly over her shoulder before she saw how he turned around. She quickly undressed and put on the sweats and hoodie he had given her to wear. Then she just stood there for a while, just taking some breaths calming herself again. Mostly because her body was racing with feelings she didn’t understand. And after some time, she just pushed it under the carpet, being most likely because of the horrible evening she had been having. The best feeling was how the warmth started to come back to her body, and the feeling of being wet also slowly disappeared.

“Okay, all safe to look” she said with a slight laugh in her voice, as she half jumped half ran toward his bed and threw herself in it.

He was usually not the type of person to show more than annoyance towards others, or at least to anyone he didn't like. And Roman didn't like most people, but Katelyn he liked, he liked her a lot actually and sometimes it surprised him. Like right now, as he was waiting for her to allow him to turn around. His heart was racing in his chest and a whole sanctuary of butterflies had escaped in his ribcage making it almost impossible to breathe. Okay, all save to look, he took a deeper breath in before turning around. The nervous left his body as she half jumped towards the bed and threw herself in it. He couldn't help but laugh a little as he walked over to pick the wet dress up, so he could hang it on the radiator. Roman then turned to her again. "So, you owe me that whole, why will Maya kick my ass explanation?" Roman knew Maya didn't need a reason why she would kick his ass - and they did sometimes have small fighting sessions to blow off steam - but right now he was just very curious. Then he started picking up on small things, not enough to put the whole puzzle together. He walked over and sat down on the bed looking at her while waiting for her to tell the story. Perhaps it would also take her mind off tonight's events. At least he hoped, even through if she wanted to talk about it - he wouldn't mind.

“Oh right!” she tapped her head lightly as she hadn’t answered why Maya would kick his ass. “Well!” she looked at him dragging out the suspense before she pushed him a little with her foot. “As it seems I, have the most awesome big sister in the world!” she said with a big smiled spread her arms and feel back into the bed again. The pillows and his duvet bounced around her figure. A small giggle left her mouth, around all this sadness she had felt she was also really happy that her father had found her long lost sister. The sister she had never met, because she was born three years after. She looked up and titled her head a softer smile spread over her lips “So, Maya, is Madelaine, the sister that my parents lost when she was born – how crazy is that?” it sounded so crazy saying it out loud. How insane it was that her father had gone into work. This new girl had started not only a few weeks prior, and that was the long-lost child of Daisy and Nigel?
It was one of those things that you read about in papers and heard about in the news all the time. But actually, having it happen to yourself? She just couldn’t believe it!

It was clear that Katelyn didn’t really know what to do with all her chaos energy, which ended up being why she pushed her up sitting before she leaned over and put her arms around Roman. “I’m just really glad you’re here” she mumbled against his hair and hugged him a little closer.

She dragged out the suspense, making him raise his eyebrow just a little bit. What had Maya done now, was his first thought. Or more like, what had he done now that Maya apparently did not approve on - which could be about just anything. Shocked when it was even about him, it was about the two of them. The most awesome big sister.. He narrowed his eyes a little bit. Roman looked to Maya as a sister as well, she was family to him. So, first he thought of it like the sense of that, but the way she smiled so brightly and and fell back onto the bed again, made him think further than that - still theorizing what she meant and how things were fitting the puzzle. The soft giggle made him chuckle a bit, she seemed to be truly happy about this subject - which made him even more eager to know more. Finally their eyes locked again and he listened to what she said. He recalled she had been telling him about the long lost sister, the hole in her family's heart that had never been filled. Maya was that sister. He looked absolutely shocked, which he was. His eyes almost falling out of his face, but in the best possible way. Roman had been friends with Maya for a few years about now, not knowing at all everything she had been through - but he knew it was a lot, he also did hear all the jerks whispering in the corners. The thing about being the quite kid was that you got to listen to everything people said. "That is so mental, that is incredible," he blinked still putting the last piece of the puzzle together. How had he not been able to see that? The girl's were two different species, which was perhaps what had put him off. Maya and Katelyn, sisters, who would have thought? "I'm truly happy that you found each other," he confessed with a warmer smile. They both deserved the best and he hoped that now time would be better on them.

Before he knew off it, Katelyn pushed herself back up to sitting again, seeming a little bit restless, perhaps from the adrenalin kick she had earlier mixed with about just everything her small frame could hold. Then she put her arms around him, making him by instinct wrap his around hers. Odd, he thought to himself for a second, he hadn't been realizing how much he needed to hold onto someone. I’m just really glad you’re here. His heart skipped a few beats a head while holding her a little closer, feeling his emotions starting to move on his sleeve. "I'm glad you are here as well," he whispered closing his eyes just taking the warm embrace in.

She knew it was insane, what were the odds that Maya would be the sister. The child her mother and father had always tried to find, even at it had been in periods as her father had said, it would drive them crazy if they would just drop everything and not focus on the life they had right now. Maybe that had been one of the factors that had ended with them splitting up, her father and mother. It was so clear to her when they were in the same room just how much they loved each other. Maybe even more in her father’s face. He always had this pride around him and never really let emotions show. But one woman he would never be able to hide his emotions from? Daisy Goldsmith her mother.

Katelyn furrowed her brows as she felt how Roman sank into her embraces and pulled her a little closer. Even as she had come here for comfort, she suddenly felt how it shifted. Maybe it was the effect of her powers, always feeling people’s emotions more quickly than other would. Though it wouldn’t be that weird that Roman needed emotional support. Ever since his brother had died, he had closed himself of instead of actually talking about it. Which she understood and wasn’t about to ask him to explain what was going through his mind. Instead, she just readjusted her way of hugging him and pulled him into her embrace. “You know, I’ll always be here when you need to talk, right?” she whispered and closed her eyes. Her hair was still dripping from the water that had been poured over her, she tried to angle her head, so she didn’t make his t-shirt more wet than she had already made it.

I'll always be here when you need to talk, he took a sharper breath in. Of course he knew that, she had always been here even if he didn't always understand why. In this household filled with werewolves, it seemed like she was stepping into a death trap, which he didn't like, and he knew that no one here would wish Katelyn any harm. But it didn't mean he wasn't worried by the fact that he knew he could kill her with one werewolf bite. Roman shook the shooting fear out of his head again. "Yeah, I know," he breathed out and closed her eyes shut for a moment to collect himself, and on the next inhale he pulled slowly out of the embrace to look into her eyes. He gently placed his hand on her cheek. "It's just been different around here ever since. Ryan is barely home, and the girl's - are, yeah we are all just trying," he sighed a bit looking shortly to the side. Roman and Rose were to alike in all of this, and none of them spoke about it either, even if they both knew what war that raged on inside each other's heads. Sometimes he found it funny that it wasn't her and him who were twins, because of their similarities in behavior. "But I will be okay, we will all be okay. It just takes some time, and, yeah, I will be fine."

She listened as he explained how it was going, getting it right away that he didn’t really tell her anything. But she wasn’t about to press the issue, the fact that he even opened up like this was more than enough. What was her mother always told her? On step in front of the other. If someone had been dealing with loss and going into themselves and not talking about things, her parents was experts around now. Funny enough her father had a similar saying, it doesn’t matter how slow you go, just don’t ever stop walking.

She leaned against his warm hand as he took her cheek in it, her different colored eyes looked at him. But I will be okay, yeah, I will be fine. She took her own hand and placed it against his neck and let her thump glide over his jaw. “My father was never really okay after he lost his first child, and I can still see the pain after he got her back – So I think, I know that you will be alright one day, but it is also okay never to be the same again” she said and a small smile appeared on her lips “Your true friends will be here, no matter what happens – like Maya, Wayne and I’ll be here too” she took in a deep breath as she felt like she was falling into his eyes “always” a bigger smile formed on her lips.

"Yeah, Roman chuckled a bit, even though he saw the meaning of those words. He felt like nothing would ever be truly the same again, when something broke no matter the job you did to put it back together, no matter how good, it would always have cracks. "Romeo wasn't just my brother.. you know? He was a part of the pack. It wasn't just losing family. I feel like, I lost one of my limbs, almost like it's impossible to find sense in anything anymore, expect for a few things," he breathed out keeping his eyes on Katelyn. She mentioned he would always have her, Wayne and Maya - and that was true. He truly appreciated their friendship, knowing they were dealing with stuff as well. "I did something stupid the other day," he closed his eyes for a second, not really understanding why he felt the need to share this, he hadn't shared it with anyone. Because if his siblings or parents knew he had been this close to reunite with Romeo, it would crush them. "I was at a boat party, like it was no big deal. Barely drank anything, it's not that. It's the fact that I fell overboard, no one noticed, not even the guy who pushed me. And I was just sinking,"he told her looking to the side for a short moment while taking a deeper breath in once again. "A siren saved me, believe me or not - perhaps wolf wasn't really on her list of appititers" Roman turned his brown eyes back to Katelyn. "I haven't said anything to anyone about it, the last thing I want is for people to worry more... and here I am putting it on your shoulders, sorry."

She nodded slowly; she wasn’t about to tell him that she understood because she never would. She hadn’t lost anyone, no one had died that had been close to her. So how could she ever set himself in his shoes and tell him she understood? Maya might, she knew things had happened to her sister that her sister didn’t want to talk about, and that she could understand. How could a blue-eyed protected kid like her ever understand?
But she never got to tell him all of that, that she would never be able to understand, but she would be there to try. Always lend her ear if he needed someone to talk to. Before he told her that he had done something stupid. She leaned a little back when he started his story.
I felt overboard. Her heart stopped and then it started hammering in her chest, sinking? But he could have died? Heart started to hammer even more, and it was hard to breath for a second and two. He tried to make a joke out of it? That the siren didn’t want to eat him?
The worst thing was, that he hadn’t told anyone, that he didn’t want people to worry and now he was in the mindset he shouldn’t have told her? She didn’t even think as she a little violently put her arms around him and pulled him into a hug her eyes closed as she put her nose in his hair. Breathing in his scent. “You such a dumbass Rome, not wanting to tell anyone!?” even as her words were urgent she didn’t raise her voice the slightest and just pulled him into a stronger embrace. “I’m so glad you’re still here” she whispered and bit down her lip, what the hell would she do if he wasn’t there anymore? The thought almost pushing tears out of her eyes.

"Well the last thing my family needed to worry about was me being stupid," he mumbled and was about to scratch the back of his head as he was pulled into a stronger embrace again. It was the truth however, the same regarding his friends, the last thing Maya and Wayne needed was to run head over heels for him. Katelyn reminding him she was glad that he was still here. "Me too," Roman took a deeper breath in and chuckled a bit to himself. "It's just a reminder of me not to go to a boat party with douchebags, I mean I don't even like them, they are all bloody idiots," he pointed out as he slowly pulled out of the embrace, but still kept close to her. He traced the back of his hand over her cheek softly. "Do you want to get some sleep?" he asked and finally got to scratch the back of his head. "I will just take the chair or the floor, I can make the most comfortable floor bed -" there was no debating in her not taking the bed to sleep. It was big enough to fit both of them, but he didn't want to make her uncomfortable either, which was why he didn't suggest it.

“Yeah that, that is the thing that you should get out of this, don’t go to boat parties” she started laughing as he pulled out of the embrace, the laugh became a soft smile as her fingers ran over her cheek and she took in a deep breath, he always, somehow, got her totally transfixed on his eyes. But they were friends, and friends should become drawn in by his beautiful – stop, Katelyn just stop. She had noticed the feelings first when she had found out that Roman had a girlfriend. Not that should have changed anything, but the nights where she had thought about it and then one time fantasied what it would be like if it her, he had been kissing. Right there and then when that image had popped into her head, she had made a vow. They would just be friends, nothing more! Because keeping him as a friend was much more precious, than some dumb fantasy that could ruin that. When Hermine and Roman broke up, Katelyn’s feelings had subdued, and she really just did think about him as a friend. Whatever spark that was happening right now, had to be the emotions about everything.

“Hm?” she asked not really hearing what he had said “Oh yeah, sleep, that might be a good idea!” she said with a smile, then he started talking about sleeping on the floor or chair “wait what, no! The bed more than big enough for the both of us, no way that I’m letting you sleep in the floor!” she said with a slight headshake. To make a statement she crawled over to one of the sides and snuggled under the covers “See, I’m so small you won’t even notice that I’m here!” a big smile formed on her lips as she looked towards him.

Sleep. He wasn't even tired, but they should sleep. Knowing everything that had happened was the reason for the overtiredness hanging over him. Roman took a slightly sharper breath in, as she pointed out the bed was big enough for both of them. It was really the only thing he needed her to say, but he appreciated how she snuggled under the covers, making him smile. "Okay, you got me convinced," he chuckled a bit before walking over to the bed. Roman crossed his arms in front of his body to pull his t-shirt over his head and let it fall to the ground. He couldn't really sleep with too much clothing on, perhaps it was just a wolf thing. And being a werewolf he didn't think to much of it either. He opened his trousers, and sat down on the side of the bed to pull them off then getting under the covers. Roman turned on his side towards Katelyn looking at her, feeling his heart beat slightly heavy in his chest for a moment, he couldn't anything but just smile looking at her. Even though he tried to dimmer his smile just a little bit, it seemed impossible to do so. "I'm happy you trusted me enough to come to me," he confessed with a lower voice, keeping his eyes upon hers.

She winked as he told her that he had him convinced “I have heard before that I’m a very good convincer” but as he pulled off his t-shirt she averted her eyes, not really understanding why but looking at your half naked friend didn’t seem very, like what friends would do. Just like Roman had wanted to step outside when she needed to change clothes.

While he was taking of his clothes, she remembered that she was still wearing his sweats, that would kind of weird sleeping with those. Still under the covers she started taking them off, just as he was done and laid down, she rose up and threw them on the ground. She snuggled under the covers again as he turned to look at her. His smile was infectious and for a while she just looked at him without knowing what to say or do, luckily for her Roman broke the silence telling her that he was happy she trusted him enough. Funny thing, she hadn’t even thought about it; “There was no one else that came to mind when I was standing in the woods, you were the only one that” she chuckled clearly not understanding what she was saying herself. “Yeah of course I trust you enough to come here” she grabbed the pillow and reposition herself, so she was lying on top on it still without taking her eyes of him “You’re not tired at all are you?” she snickered looking at him with a crocked brow.
