It was late. How did it even become this late? She packed up her stuff from her little beach trip and started the walk back towards the parking lot. The sun went down so late in summer times, but now the dark painted the former light sky. The bright moon shined over the forest with a gentle and soft touch. It was so beautiful and bright. The parking lot was quite the walk from the beach and she walked on the stone path in the woods. The lampposts helped the moon light up the way. She looked to the side as her head formed shapes in the darkness to make her heart race. Wendy hated walking around this time of day, and it was about now she realized that she was out on a full moon. Her heart skipped a beat as she started walking even faster towards her car. She could see the parking spot from afar and felt a little sense of hope. The noises in the forest was so loud and her head was spinning with alternatives to how this could end. Wendy was out of breath and had a hard time keeping herself calm and collected. She started searching for her keys in her bag, the sound of all the objects moving around in her bag made her panic slightly. Finally, she found her keys and got them up from the bag. Still walking fast and not looking were she walked she looked up and a wolf made her stop and drop her keys. She froze with a heavily beating heart and starred at the creature in front of her. |
