| T: around 7pm P: Cassandra’s house W: Cloudy and chilly; it’s snowing O: Outfit@Bienvenido She looked in the mirror. What the hell was she doing!? Going on a date with the prime player in the Patrons… It was like asking for heartbreak. She should never had agreed to ever considering going on a date with him. Now, she was on the path to gallons of ice cream, tissue paper and sad break-up music, surely! With a deep breath, she looked at her makeup to make sure it was suitable. He had not told her where they were going for dinner, but since she had hinted at a black dress yesterday, she only found it fitting. Her makeup also was something he would surely not had seen her with before; dark burgundy lips, smokey eyes. Even though her hair had been long for a while, she still didn’t bother to pin it up. She simply allowed her long waves to flow freely; framing her face gently. The phone buzzed, making her look at it with furrowed brows; who would call now? Of course, her brother. ‘’What do you want, Tidus? I’m getting ready for a da-… No, not a date! Why would you think that… Fine, yes, a date… Tivo? No, why would I-… You’re being a pest right now, do you know that!?... Fine, I’ll call you then I get home, okay?... Bugger off!’’, she sighed as she ended the conversation, only to see the text that had arrived at her phone, telling her that Bienvenido was on his way. She didn’t reply. She grabbed her clutch; a golden little purse - just big enough to fit her phone, keys, some cash and her lipstick. The sat down at the kitchen table to put on her shoes; black stilettoes with that signature red sole. Now, all there was left was to wait for her date to come pick her up and reveal where he had decided for them to go to dinner. |

| Outfit: a black long blazer, blue silk shirt and a pair of black cowboybukser.
Bienvenido was so excited. He couldn’t wait to go on this date with the lovely Cassandra! He hoped, oh so much, that it would end well. That the restaurant was her type. That he maybe could get that goodnight kiss at the door and leave with his beating heart of happiness. It was with a smile, wide as a kid´s on Christmas eve, he walked to his car and placed himself behind the wheel. He sang a little jolly song on Spanish as he drove over to Cassandra´s little house.
Tidus on the other hand, called only to tease his sister, just to let her know, that he knew about the date. He was so happy for them. He hoped they would find happiness in each other.
As Tivo arrived to Cassandra´s house, he stepped out of the car, addressed his clothes and then walked to her door. His heart was beating like crazy as he knocked on the door, waiting for the beautiful woman to open it. This was it. This was his change. He better not fuck it up.

| It wasn’t often that the witch allowed herself to be excited. Usually, it had only led to disappointment - something she wasn’t quite content with, obviously. She pulled out a little metal container, which looked like it might could contain credit cards. As she opened it, however, cigarettes were neatly lined up on each side; held together by two metal clasps. She took out one of the cigarettes and with a little sigh; a miniscule word, the cigarette got lit on fire. Magic was a wonderful thing, if used properly. Of course, she smoked. She had done that for years; hiding it from everyone - even Bienvenido. Why? She was allowed to smoke, no one had told her otherwise. But it still felt like she was doing something she wasn’t allowed to do, which made her feel guilty. The guilt was washed away with every inhalation of smoke combined with nicotine.
It knocked on the door, and she was of course almost jumping with excitement as she got up from her seat and went over to invite him inside. The door opened as she approached it - just a little display of her magic now and then, as she had the cigarette between two fingers. ‘’My, my, how handsome you look,’’ she said, with a pleased smile on her lips. ‘’No scuffs, scrapes or busted lips? Impressive,’’ she said, obviously teasing him a bit. She knew he wasn’t the one that would be beaten up in a fight, like Tidus and Cassandra was. Bienvenido had a way of avoiding that, somehow. She had never quite understood it. ‘’I hope I’m not overdressed for the occasion,’’ she said, winking at him. The dress wasn’t one to be ripped up the second they had the chance, as it had been quite expensive. The designer would surely not be pleased if his dress had gotten such a precious dress ripped apart by lustful mafia-members.

| Oh... how gorgeous she looked. Standing there, smiling all over, with the dress hugging her curves so perfectly. A mermaid dress, if he remembered his sister´s word correctly. Himself was smiling all over his face as he finally separated his lips to say. "Wow! and look at you... You look like a godess!" He smiled and stepped inside. He had made sure not to get in trouble. Trying to look good for their date. and of course... he had told Tidus about their date. The blonde had have a hard time shutting him up about it. Luckily it seemed that the blonde was happy for them. "You´re not overdressed at all... I have gotten us a table on that fancy... gorgeous... restaurant thingy inside the city." He explained as he walked further inside her little house. here he tilted his head and leaned down to kiss her lips softly. "I didn´t know you were smoking... can I borrow one?" He looked down at his clock. "We have at least 30 minutes before we need to be there." Once again he found himself lost in those beautiful amber eyes. He smiled softly and waited for her answer.

| Cassandra looked at the werewolf in front of her, smiling softly, as she knew he wasn’t the one to always be galant for showing up on time. This time, however, he was early. It was kind of nice to know that they weren’t in a rush at the moment. As she invited him in, she gave him a light nudge on the shoulder, as he had made a compliment of her. ‘’I’m no goddess, sweetheart. If anything, I’m a enchantress, mated by the devil himself.’’ She joked, before she felt his lips against hers. ‘’Of course. They’re on the table,’’ she said, smiling softly at him. In Honesty, she smoked when she was nervous. It had taken a hard toll on her with everything that had been going on. She looked at the werewolf. ‘’So, you showed up early. Is there a reason, or wasn’t you going to deal with my dear brother’s teasing any more?’’ He asked, kinda joking about the whole thing - what else could she do, when she knew Tidus was being a menace ever since he had found out about them? She inhaled another puf of smoke from her cigarette, before she chuckled. ‘’I’ve been smoking ever since I moved to Dublin, actually. Tidus would despice the habit, so I kept it at a minimum until know.’’ She said, sighing at herself as she knew it was unhealthy. ‘’How’s your day been?’’ She asked, before she closed the door; making it flow slightly as it sealed with a bluish light to signal that a spell had taken action - sealing the House from entruders. |

| He smiled and sat down. Near Cass he always felt so at place. It was a feeling he couldn’t explain. All he knew was that he was aching for it all the time. He took a cigarette, let it rest between his lips, before searching for a light. “Which one of your brothers?” he asked in a mumble, trying to make the cigarette stay put. With a smirk, he looked over at her and grabbed the lighter. “The blonde twink or the hairy Alpha?” Shortly he looked down at the cigarette to turn it on. “Not that I´m sure that the alpha knows about our little date here.” As the door closed, it shortly caught his attention, before he turned it back to Cassandra. He smiled lovingly at her. “You can smoke in front of him… the blonde has flaws on his own, so who is he to judge?” after that smug little comment, he blew out some smoke between his lips, while chuckling lowly. “My day has been fine… but… I admit… I had been a bit nervous about this date…” he smiled shyly at her. Even talking about him being nervous, made him nervously ran a hand through his hair. “Nervous of what you might say about the restaurant… you know… all that typical stuff…” he waved with his hand. “How about your day?” |

| As the werewolf asked which brother she referred to, Cassandra chuckled softly. ‘’The one which you aren’t dying to strangle with your bare hands whenever you see him?’’ she guessed, as she knew the relation between her boyfriend and older brother was strained beyond compare. Collin wasn’t impressed with Bienvenido being a rogue, and Bienvenido didn’t like that fact that there was another werewolf - an alpha - living with Cassandra. Or, perhaps it was something else that ended up making Bienvenido not like Collin? She wasn’t sure. ‘’I prefer not to smoke in front of Tidus. I hate disappointing him, and I feel like I do it every damn time I light a smoke…’’ she admitted, before she took anther puff of her smoke and crossed her arms over her chest as she exhaled. ‘’Nervous? About what? I doubt anything new will be revealed about any of us simply because we’re going out for dinner,’’ she joked. ‘’At least, none of my dark secrets will be out!’’. ‘’The typical stuff.’’ She answered, when he asked about her day. She had spent a rather large amount of time getting ready; listening to music and picking the right dress. Hours spent in the bathroom, getting her skin as soft as possible and slightly glowing. ‘’I’ve been soaking in the tub for way too long, I’ll admit,’’ she said, winking at him before she took in another puff of smoke.

| A low and husky laughter escaped Tivo´s lips. “Haha, yeah… he hasn’t been that bad… he just keeps teasing me as a friend… and at the same as your brother…” he took out the smoke between his lips and played a bit with it. “You know… the typical drill… treat her right and so on…” with a sweet smile, he looked up at her and tilted his head. She feared disappointing Tidus. Why? He shook his head and turned off the cigarette, blowing out the last smoke. “Don´t be so nervous about disappointing him. He adores you to much for that.” talking about being nervous about disappointing, now they were talking about the date, which was enough to make his throat feel so dry. “I´m not nervous about anything being revealed… I´m just… nervous… which is weird, I´m normally never nervous for a date…” he bit the inside of his cheek. “I guess… I´m…” he laughed and shook his head. “Never mind!” he nodded with a smile, when she answered, that she has been doing the typical stuff. The little tub confession made him laugh lovingly. She was adorable. “Well… that’s what you have a tub for!” he said and stood up. Here he did a little stretch. He leaned down a hand to her. “Let´s go my senorita.” |

| ‘’I believe it is a talent of his; teasing others with simple things, making them seem far too grand and nerve wrecking.’’ She said, smiling at his husky laughter. It sounded so sweet to her. ‘’Funny… I was about to tell you to treat me all wrong and see how long it lasted.’’ She joked, as he said Tidus had told him to treat her right. That was indeed not her baby-brother’s job. If any’s, it should be Collin telling Bienvenido to man up. ‘’You could tell the sky to never rain and be more successful than telling me to stop being scared of disappointing the most important person in my life.’’ She said, knowing it might be misunderstood. Then, it seemed like he was about to tell why he was nervous, before he changed his mind. She sighed dramatically loud at him before she smoked the very last of her cigarette. ‘’You’re right. Most stubborn stains can be removed with a good soak!’’ she joked; referring to herself as a stubborn stain on someone’s clothes. She took his hand, as he very gallantly reached it to her. ‘’Let’s go. Lead the way,’’ she said; giving his hand a slight squeeze.

| Tivo chuckled by Cassandra´s word. What she spoke about the blonde was truth. her sarcastic little comment just made him chuckle and shake his head. Before he knew it, they were out of the door. His heart started to beat faster and faster as they neared the car. As a gentleman, he opened the door for her and even bowed a little. All done with the well-known smirk on his lips. when he got behind the wheel, he drove perfectly towards the restaurant. No speeding. No yelling. Nice and clean driving. At least that was what he told himself.
Outside the restaurant he parked just as perfect. And once again, he held the car door for her and the restaurant door. The waiter followed them to their table. The tables were all decorated to perfection. White table cloth and gleamy, golden candlesticks. On the table, right in front of them, menu´s tiny and golden as well. “This is really one hell of a restaurant huh?” he asked her teasingly.

| The drive to the restaurant seemed far to calm and quiet. She had been used to them driving during jobs in the mafia, which had been hectic and unpleasant. This… it was different, but she didn’t mind it. As they arrived at the restaurant, she couldn’t help but feel out of place. It was a fancy place to get dinner; white tablecloths and golden candelabras. Even the bloody menu was golden! She looked at him, with a teasing glimmer in her eye. ‘’Better hope it’s real gold and not just gold-plated silver, Mister Rogue.’’ She said, winking at him. Ever since Collin had explained that Bienvenido was a rogue, she had felt even more intrigued. She had lived with this man and never known he was different from most werewolves. ‘’Okay - here’s the deal. We take turn asking questions; no lies, no changing subjects. Only the truth. You can go first - but I warn you. I might not be as adorable as you might think!’’ she said, smiling enticingly at him before she looked around for a moment, waiting for him to ask her something.

| Her way of calling him Mr. rogue, made him raise an eyebrow and chuckle. He chuckled lowly. “Well then I think you´re in for a surprise ma senorita…” here he leaned in to whisper. “I think everything in here is made of gold or at least fake gold.” As soon as they have made their order to the waiter, they could start talking and boy, did Cassandra waste no time. She started by saying they could ask each other anything. The date had officially started. The game. He smiled at her while pouring some wine into her glass. Even though he knew that was the waiters’ job. “Okay… deal… hmmm… how many men have you slept with?” he curiously asked as he tilted his head. “Just out of curiosity.”

| She smiled calmly at him, even as he called her miss once again. A painful reminder that she was married, after all. she didn’t tell him, however, that it wasn’t something she enjoyed, simply because she didn’t want him to feel bad. ‘’Every man who looks for gold finds a woman and sees her a pyrite.’’ She said, calmly. That was something she had heard some old woman say in a movie once; every man sought out the real deal, only to find something that looks like the thing they want and settle for it instead of looking for the real one. Pyrite - or Fool’s Gold as it had been called - had been one of the many things she had gotten mixed up during her years of studying her grandmother’s grimoire. They had ordered - of course, she had ordered something with fish; how could she not? She missed the seaside so badly… as he poured her some whine, she looked at him with a smirk on her lips. ‘’You fail to impress me. I give you an opportunity for learning my deepest secrets, and then you bother with something so trivial as the number of men I’ve entertained? Oh well. Let’s see - does involuntarily intercourse count? If so, then seven. If not, only three.’’ She answered. She wasn’t embarrassed about the whole ‘being forced’-thing. She was used to talking about it by now. He had even known about the abuse she went through with Jasper. ‘’And no, before you ask, Jasper didn’t share me with anyone.’’ She then said, before she took a sip of her whine, only to rinse the taste of his foul name from her tongue. ‘’My turn. Why were you nervous for our date?’’ she then asked, the smirk appearing on her lips again. Did he think he could avoid telling her? Oh no, mister!

| He had no idea what she was talking about. But… he loved listening to her voice. So, to him… it was okay. Something in him also told him, that he should just and smile, not to seem stupid in front of her. Especially since it was already embarrassing how much he could forget the English words at times. as they ordered, he smiled when she picked fish, which was classic Cassandra. He shortly remembered back in the days where she had lived with him. If he wanted to order someone, she often wanted fried fish, which ended up becoming the thing he always ordered for her. That… and chili cheese tops. Just like her blonde brother. Maybe it hadn’t been the best question. But he admits, that he for a short time forgot all the terrible things that had happened to her. Which made him feel even worse. He therefore mumbled a lowly: “I´m sorry.” after that he needed to take a huge sip of his wine. Just in time for her to ask him, ‘why was he nervous for the date?’ “I´m scared of fucking things up,” he explained. “Saying the wrong things… like I just did… doing or saying something that will make you run and hide from me…” he chuckled and to hide his anxiety, he raised the glass and took another sip of wine. “Okay… my turn again…” here he leaned a bit over the table. “You haven´t been nervous at all?” with a little smirk, he tilted his head and looked into those amazing amber eyes of hers.

| ’’Stop apologizing, please. I’m sick and tired of people apologizing, as if I am some delicate flower that can’t handle life’s obscure reality.’’ She said, as she had heard the ‘sorry’ pass over his lips. She smiled calmly at him. ‘’I don’t mind talking about what happened, love. I know it sounds terrible, to accept that such fate has fallen upon me, but I can’t be bothered to always act like I am a damsel in distress. I’m a grown arse woman and I can handle the truth about what happened to me.’’ She then said, still smiling. She wanted him to know that he could talk to her about anything without feeling nervous about how she would react. He then explained why he was nervous, which made her chuckle softly before she reached over the table and placed her hand on top of his. ‘’The only thing that could ever make me run and hide from you, was if you suddenly decided to kill me or someone I love.’’ She then said, as she tried to look into his eyes. Her own amber-eyes seeking his green ones with a calm and loving gaze. Then, he leaned in over the table a bit, getting closer to her. She kept her hand on his, unless he moved it away. His question made her wink at him. ‘’I’ve been terrified. Utterly terrified.’’ She admitted, before she moved away; leaning back in her chair and taking her hand away from his to reach for her wine. She breathed in, deeply, as she tried to figure out a way to explain him why. ‘’The last time I tried to have a romantical relationship, I ended up killing the guy… I’m so scared that something similar might happen to you.’’ She admitted, taking a sip of her wine. ‘’My turn.’’ She then stated, looking at the glass in her hand for a moment. ‘’What are your intentions with all of this? With me?’’ she asked; knowing a question like that seemed excessive and unfair, but she needed to know… She needed to be sure she wasn’t just another one, before she allowed herself to venture further with all of this.

| The werewolf wasn’t sure why, but he was a bit relieved as she confessed that she also had been nervous for their date. Of course, he was also relieved to hear that he should almost have someone killed, before it would make her run away from him. As she leaned back in her chair, he did the same and admired her as she reached for her wine. When she brought up the past, he nodded and smiled weakly. He knew how the past could hurt and screw up the future. But… if they were lucky. It could also give lessons for the future. “Nothing in that manner will happen to me,” He said calmly and kindly to her. The next question did throw the breath a bit out of him. What was his intentions? Here he smiled softly at her and once again leaned over. If she would let him, he placed his hand on hers. “Well… I hoped that I could start out dating you, then get together… and in the future… marriage… kids…” it came out a little hesitating from him. Mostly because he feared what she might say. After all… it was huge thing to admit.

| It was nice, simply talking about things. She didn’t have to explain anything to him - since he knew almost everything about her. It was so refreshing to be able to live without hiding something anymore. As he answered her question, she smiled calmly at him. In some way, it felt good hearing those hesitant words pass his lips. He wanted more than just messing around… what a relief! ‘’So… Let me see if I’ve understood it correctly… You want marriage and children? What about a white picket fence, a little cozy house and a family van?’’ she asked, almost teasing even though it was meant in good fun. She understood the nervousness around it all, very much indeed. It was rather… Large, to say something like that. In honesty, this was almost a proposal in itself - which scared her just a little bit.. She reached for her wine, swallowing a lump in a throat as she tried to figure out what to do or say. ‘’Anyway!... It’s your turn for a question!’’

| Even though he knew she was teasing… It still made his heart all giddily by the thought of having a family with her. Especially in that cozy house with the family van parked outside. “Oh yeah… and I could even imagine our kids running around… playing with that little dragon of yours… maybe even having a dog… or a cat… since you already have a dog and an owl… something tells me we´re gonna have more of an animal farm, than a cozy little house.” yeah, he just played along. Even though… it felt rather pleasant teasing about it. It went to feel as a fantasy to a reality… and quite possibly a dream. He shook his head and chuckled lowly. Now it was his turn to come up with a new question. “Hmmmm… what is the craziest thing you and Tidus have done together?” he asked her teasingly. He knew her and Tidus often had gone through some CRAZY nights out.

| There it was again; kids. Children. Small, tiny humans which wasn’t capable of handling themselves very well. Individuals that could and would tie her to the maternal path forever. She had that with Calsifer, although she knew that if she ever were to go away, Calsifer would be okay. Children wouldn’t. She had never spoken about that fear. She loved to be around children - being the funny aunt or something like that. But here, in this case, it wouldn’t de a question of dropping them off at their parents after a day of fun - no, because she would be the parent. ‘’Well, I can’t deny the attractiveness in having a farm. I’ve always loved the country-side,’’ she admitted, trying not to talk more about children at the passing moment, as it made her heart race uncomfortably fast. She looked at him, wondering what made him think he hadn’t heard about the most crazy thing her and her brother-by-choice had done. ‘’That is a tough one, I’ll admit. I want to say that the craziest thing we’ve done is to take over a mafia, but that is obvious.’’ She said, taking a sip of her wine. She didn’t want to point finger; telling stories about Tidus that the demon himself wouldn’t want to be told. ‘’Oh wait! I know. Tidus tried to kill me once.’’ She said, as serious as she could be. Then, she looked at her glass for a moment, before looking back at the werewolf sitting across the table from her. ‘’It was right after Easter. We had been in Brighton to… Well, that irrelevant. Anyway, we had just returned and decided to go out for drinks. A shot too many later, we were on our way back to his place to catch some shut-eye, when he got a terrible headache. Turns out that he had been living with something inside of him, which was way more frightening than I care to admit. It turned him into some xenomorph-looking thing, which began chasing me. Eventually, it caught me and… Well, this happened,’’ she said, as she pulled her dress down just enough for Bienvenido to be able to see the rounded scars above her mate-mark on her collarbone. ‘’I managed to knock him out. When he woke up, I wasn’t really able to speak or anything. Blood loss is a terrible feeling. He carried me back to his place and I managed to heal myself enough to be able to fall asleep. It was the next day that I joined the Techniques and… The rest is in the past.’’ She said, knowing that talking about how she once killed her fiancé and mate would seem rather terrifying for the man she was on a date with.

| It didn’t take long for Tivo to notice the uncomfortable look in his love´s eyes. He therefore immediately slapped his lips together about the whole subject. It was also way to soon to start talking about shit like that! Now it was his time to just sit and listens as she explained about a night out with Tidus. He had almost killed her once. “What!?” for some time he looked concerned, until she explained the story further and he found himself calming down. “Oh…. Okay… I thought… damn…” his gaze turned to the scar on her collarbone. “Ohh… so he´s the source to that!” In his head it seemed unrealistic that Tidus could have made such a massive scar! When the story seemed to be over, he nodded and took a bigger sip of his wine. That was quite some story. “How long ago was this?” To him, it sounded like so many years ago, although he knew it couldn’t be the case. “Brighton… wasn’t that the place where…” he immediately shut his lips together to a thin line again. “Oh.” It was the place the twins came from. “Damn… see… that is quite some story and once again a reason why you should be writing a book!” he said. Once again he wished he just had kept his mouth shut. Luckily for him, the food arrived, so she wouldn’t be able to comment on it for some seconds.

| The food arrived right as he had stopped speaking, leaving Cassandra unable to answer him. Instead, she waited for the waiter to leave them once again, before she answered him; leaving awkward silence between them. She knew it was something rather uncomfortable to talk about. His best friend had tried to kill the girl he was on a date with. Damn, right? “Yeah, He is the source to that hideous thing,” she sighed, not really interested in the rest of the story, she didn’t care for the fact that she had been close to dying by Tidus hand. She loved him far too much to even want to think about it. “Yeah,Brighton. Shitty place, filled with shitty people.”she mumbled, remembering Easter as a joyful experience until Josiah had wanted to talk about her hunting which had turned into a massive fight between them. A fight that ended up with him dead. “To be honest, the twins were... special. One was my mate, the other was Tidus boyfriend... Elijah ran away after what happened, just like I did... we both left Tidus in. Such a crucial hour that I feel like... I failed him.” She admitted, before she took a sip of her wine, noticing her glass was almost empty already. “Enough about me. Your turn; same question. | Brighton was a shittý place with shitty people. Translated, a place with bad memories. He made a little small smile, before purring her some more wine, while listening carefully to what she had to say. As she explained of what had happened some months ago, he remembered back to the time as well. He remembered how he had to lie to Tidus about knowing were Cassandra was. He remembered seeing how broken the blonde was. He had lost Josiah, Elijah and Cassandra, all at once. It hadn’t been easy. And Tivo felt horrible by lying and hiding Cassandra from his friend. But… they did what they had to. He decided not to comment on it. Instead he placed a hand on top of hers. Smiling warmly at her. In his head, she had no failed Tidus, but he also knew that it wouldn’t help anything by telling her that. She was stubborn like that. now she wanted to know the craziest thing he had done with Tidus. “Oh uhm… That must have been the time back in Mexico when we had to sneak into this other Narco cartel. We ended up getting kidnapped. I was close to getting killed and they planned on selling Tidus,” he said. It came out so easily between his lips. Like it had just been another day in the city.

| The time where Bienvenido and Cassandra had to lie to Tidus, keeping it a secret that she had been with the werewolf all along, had taken a toll on all of them. even though they trusted each other big time, some things were simply… well, too much to trust someone with. Brighton had been one of those things. The werewolf started speaking about times before Cassandra had been a part of their lives; back in Mexico. ‘’Killed? Were you a wimp or were they well prepared?’’ she asked, winking at the werewolf. ‘’Selling Tidus? They would need to gag him first. No one would want to by someone with a vocabulary as his!’’ she chuckled, before she reached for her glass and took another sip of her wine. ‘’So.. I know you are from Mexico. Tell me about it! Tell me about you, before you came here… You must have had a life there?’’ she asked, genuinely interested in hearing the backstory to the man she was considering starting a life with herself.

| Tivo slowly started to eat his steak. It tasted like heaven. “I would like to think that they were well prepared… and not me being a whimp,” he answered after swallowing his steak. A little wink was once again thrown in there as well. The comment on Tidus made him nod eagerly. “That´s what I thought too! Like… believe, you will never get him sold!” He laughed by the memory. Just as he was about to relax and take the date calmly, she asked about his past. A past before Gaia. Before Tivo. “Yeah… I had… I uhm… I have still… or at least my families there… my sister, father and mother… all that party,” he said nervously. “and… I should be honest with you… about something else…” To show the seriousness, he looked into her eyes. For a second, they were filled with a broken piece of sorrow. “Some… time ago… I had a kid… and a girlfriend… but… My kid was killed in a car bomb accident… or I later found out it wasn’t an accident… It was my narco cartel who was behind it… It crushed my girlfriend… all she did was sitting in the chair, starring out of the window… almost like a vegetable… therefore I decided to erase her memory of me… and the kid…” It was a memory he was still haunted by. He knew it wasn’t his choice to make. But he had did it. And he had fleed. “I should have told you earlier… I know…” now his heart really started to beat like he was being chased. Chased by reality and what Cassandra might think.

| She listened to him as he explained that he had been keeping a secret from her. At first, she thought it couldn’t be anything major, since it wasn’t anything Tidus had tried to tell her about. Then, he said that he had parents and a sister back in Mexico. She looked at him, rather calmly. There wasn’t anything wrong in having family! She had one herself, although it was a rather unpleasant one. Broken pieces of his heart were to spot in his eyes as he looked into her amber-eyes. She already knew it was a truth she didn’t want to hear. She set with her wine in her hand; her fingers wrapped around the stem of the glass, showing that she was no stranger to drinking from such vessels. His words made her look down at her food, feeling her heart drop and her appetite vanish. He wasn’t hers; he had simply erased the memory of the mother to his child and left… ‘’I,’’ she said, before she placed the wine glass on the table with a slightly shaky hand. ‘’Excuse me,’’ she said, before she got up from her seat; avoiding the werewolf’s eyes as she passed him and walked straight to the ladies’ restroom. As soon as she was alone, she felt the nausea kick in. she took deep, yet sharp breaths, hiding the act that she wanted to throw up. Why? Why did she feel such terrible feelings? Was it the fear of ending up like that herself? She had been close, back when she had felt Tidus slip through her fingers… She had been a vegetable herself. He had offered to erase her memory before - back with Josiah, back with Jasper… She shook her head, closing her eyes. ‘’How come you always walk into other people’s messes, huh?’’ she sighed at herself, looking in the mirror. Then, it hit her… had that been the reason he had been a player? To not commit, as he had done with that woman back in Mexico? What was in store for her, when he simply had erased her memories of him and left? What would ever hinder him in doing the same to her? No, it wasn’t going to happen. She wouldn’t let it. She wouldn’t give him the chance of breaking her heart. She closed her eyes, and with a soft movement of her hand, the nausea disappeared alongside the dizziness. As soon as she was sure that she wasn’t going to ramble like a crazy lady, she joined Bienvenido back in the restaurant. Her appetite was gone, but that was more her fault than his. ‘’Sorry. Too much wine,’’ she said, smiling softly at him. It wasn’t a lie, since she had been downing two rather large glasses since they arrived, and a steady amount of whiskey before that. ‘’So, you have a family. Does they know you are alive?’’ she asked, as she sat down once more, still not looking him in the eyes.
