Outfit: Dress + Hair

It was a great idea, and it was good for all of them to get out of the mansion together. A Christmas event was a great way to dress up and see something else. Anastasia had spent the entire day planning Mariella and Jasmine's outfits. Ana had made sure they had a driver and things were going to be perfect, she didn't want them to have any surprises. She wanted them to have a good time.
"They will be out in a few seconds," Ana assured her brother and walked over to him and smiled. "Handsome as always," she added looking back when Jasmine and Mariella entered the hallway.  "Your sister is a pure genius," Mariella chuckled lightly before walking over to Reginald. Jasmine was a bit nervous, she had never really been to an event with a date that she hadn't known her entire life. Anastasia had made sure that Josie would be picked up by Mr. James - because like hell she was going to let Mr. Burns scare her cousins date away.

"The car should be here any second." The sound of the car  in the driveway was clear for any vampire in the mansion. "It's time," she added letting the people know. After they got in the car, Mr Burn had the pleasure of driving them - but he barely talked anyways. They were dropped off by the hotel, at the same time as Mr James dropped Josie off. Jasmine's smile lighted up and she walked closer to the car that she knew belonged to Mr. James. "Good evening miss Jasmine," and Jasmine nodded and wanted for him to open the door for the hybrid. Jasmine's heart was beating so fast in her chest. "Thank you James," she smiled before moving her eyes to the opening door.

Mariella looked over at Jasmine looking so excited and smiled. "I have a feeling this is gonna be a great event," she looked over at Reginald. It was no secret that Mariella could see the bonds between people. It was fair to say, that none of them wanted to see Jasmine get hurt again. If anyone had made the banshee this smitten, she was excited to meet the person.

Josie Looks (without "D")
Reginald Looks (handkerchief red like Mariella's dress)
______

Anastasia had gone above and beyond, she always did with these events. Reginald had even suggested for his sister to join them, but she seemed more interested in getting the girls ready than actually going with them. He could understand if she wanted some time for herself after what had happened, however he felt a little guilty for letting her just be here at the mansion alone. Well not alone, Theodore and Amaryllis was there, and he knew that were Amaryllis was, Karmena wasn't far. So his sister wouldn't be all alone at least. He couldn't help but chuckle a little, letting his little sister inspect him. Anastasia had gotten him the handkerchief, saying it would go with what Mariella was wearing, so of course he obliged. "Perfection runs in our family," he teased his sister, but it sometimes felt like people looked to them as if they were supposed to be perfect. Reginald had always been rather close with his family, but mostly because of the fact there was safety in being with them. There were only few families that the royal family trusted, and besides Mariella's it was Amaryllis' parents. Of course all family trees had their fair share of bad apples, so to speak, but they were careful with whom they interacted with. As Mariella spoke, Reginald turned his eyes from his sister to his wife, a small gasp leaving his lips as he looked at the siren. The red fabric flowing around her as if it was flames. Her hair away from her face so that he could see all of her beautiful features. "She is," he agreed, taking her hand as he looked her up and down. It was clear to see that all he saw when he looked at Mariella was the love of his life. His eyes almost soft as he took in how she looked this evening. He wanted to lean down and steal a kiss, but he also knew his sister would scold him and tell him to be careful about her make-up. "You look absolutely stunning," he whispered, although he knew everyone in the mansion could probably hear it. He just wanted to let her hear the flattery, because she was the only one who needed to know what he felt in this moment. As Jasmine came out he smiled, looking to Anastasia to nod. It was clear he wanted his cousin to have as much of a good night as him and Mariella. He let go of Mariella's hand and walked to his cousin. "Take a spin," he smiled, holding out his hand to spin her around slowly, seeing everything of her. There was a close bond between the two cousins, and Reginald felt that after all of this the two of them were closer than ever, even if there were still a few things that was crazy. "I don't think I've seen you dressed like this before," he remarked, but it was also a slight nod to the fact that the girl that had smitten Jasmine clearly showed her impact. He moved with the other's to the car, heading to the event he felt a little giddy, even going so far as showing off a more relaxed expression than the one he had been showing off the past few weeks.

Josie had been running around all week, making sure the dress she had ordered were absolutely perfect. She couldn't afford to look a fool in front of Jasmine, no way. It was clear that her cousin Zach had noticed her absence, they usually saw each other once a week, but she had been distant even when they saw each other. It was like her whole mind was filled with Jasmine, the banshee girl that had made her finally feel something. She had even gone so far as to cut her hair, not that she worried much about the length as it seemed to grow back rather fast. Being picked up by an unknown driver didn't matter, but she saw it was mr. James, making her grit her teeth a little. It wasn't like the two of them had ever really spoken a word to each other, she just didn't really like him. What it was she couldn't tell, maybe she was just wanting to protect Jasmine even more than that man could do. They arrived, the door being opened she stepped out, ignoring mr. James' hand offering to help her. As she was out she adjusted a bit on her dress before her gaze fell on Jasmine, her eyes lighting up as if they had been dormant all this time. "Good evening stranger," she said in a small tease, reaching over to take Jasmine's hand. Whomever saw them together, she could care less about. There was something primal in her, telling her to make Jasmine hers, and she would gladly show off the banshee if she had the chance. "You look even more beautiful than I could ever imagine," she said softly, her free hand reaching out to touch the material of the fabric. Josie had never been shy of touching, and if she saw something with a texture she liked, she wanted to touch it, like she had an urge to do so. "Let's get inside before we start freezing," she said gently, pulling Jasmine with her, entangling their fingers as if it was the most normal thing for her to do.

Reginald walked with Mariella inside, the ballroom beautifully decorated in golden and silver stars, magic having been used to create the illusion of slow falling from the ceiling. One of the hosts came over, handing them welcoming drinks, Reginald's being spiked with blood to make it more pleasant for him. He had never liked drinking or eating, but to events like these he did it out of courtesy. He wrapped an arm around Mariella, pressing her a little closer, leaning his head down to her ear. "Tonight is for us," he whispered softly. He wanted the two of them spending the night dancing and having fun.

Jasmine couldn’t help but laugh a little to herself, as Josie ignored Mr. James’ hand. The black dress looked stunning. All she saw was the hybrid and Jasmine completely forgot what she was about to do. Had she ever felt like this before, was it possible to get high just by the sight of Josie? “Good evening,” she finally managed to speak. It took her a few more seconds to return to reality, and the touch of Josie’s hand helped her. There was something about Josie that woke the pure side of her, the very best side, everything of herself that required only love to be whole. Their energy seemed to vibrate in such a unique way. Jasmine had never really been shy; however, it had succeeded the hybrid to make the banshee act like a smitten teenager. Her smile grew by the compliment. The touch made her shiver a little, mostly with excitement. It was so long ago since she had felt like this. Happy. It was so clear that this girl made her feel a happiness within her, that she thought she couldn’t feel again.  “You look incredibly beautiful,” she breathed out with a heart-warming smile. As the hybrid suggested they moved inside she nodded in agreement, and let Josie entangle their hands. It was nice having someone who wasn’t afraid to just do stuff. Jasmine was so used to be careful around others that it was a nice change. Jasmine looked a little to the side and saw Mariella and Reginald already was on their way inside. It was nice being at an event with them.  “Good idea,” she moved with Josie inside.
Wow, this place is amazing,” she mumbled almost breathless. Jasmine had been to a big sum of events, but bigger events always had each their own little twist. As they got in, they were served their welcoming drinks. Jasmine took the glass and looked around before her cyan eyes landed on Josie once again. “Cheers,” she lifted her glass a little up. "I'm really happy we went here together," she admitted with a little shy smirk on her lips.

Mariella and Reginald came inside. The ballroom was amazing, not that it surprised her. Events like this rarely disappointed. They took the welcoming drinks, and Mariella took a sip to take the sweet liquor. Mariella had had a need to be as close to Reginald after he had returned home and having him this close and being at this event - it helped her mindset turn to a little more normal mindset. A small voice in her head was still telling her to lookout for any sort of danger, but she tried to shut it up. She closed her eyes for a second as he whispered softly into her ear. A warm smile glowed on her lips. “Indeed, it is,” she replied in the same tone and opened eyes again. Mariella turned her gaze to him and looked at him with soft eyes. Just looking at him made her smile, and her smile was so pure and lighthearted. “Dancing the night away is sort of our thing so. I’m looking forward to it,” she confessed and tilted her head a little to the side.

Josie was completely smitten by the way Jasmine looked. She looked so stunning that it was almost taking her breath away. Moving inside, Josie's hazel eyes looked around at the wondrous decoration that seemed to reflect so perfectly the season. Taking her welcoming drink she moved with Jasmine, standing by a large Christmas tree that was decorated with silver and gold ornaments, candle lights enchanted so that it wouldn't burn if you bumped in to it, or make anything catch fire. Lifting her glass, smiling she toasted with Jasmine, taking a sip of the sweet alcoholic drink. The confession made her chuckle lightly, giving Jasmine's hand a soft squeeze. "I'm happy as well, but you don't have to be shy around me," she said in a soft spoken voice. "I want you to be comfortable, to know that you don't have to second guess yourself," she said. Josie needed someone like Jasmine in her life, and at this point she was too infatuated by the banshee to even let go of her. Josie had never felt like this, sure she had felt lust and infatuation, but this feeling she had in her chest when she looked at Jasmine was new.

Reginald chuckled a little at Mariella's words, because it was true that it was kind of their thing. He placed his drink down on an empty table, pulling her closer as he looked in to her eyes. "Wouldn't want to keep you waiting," he whispered, smiling at her. He could hear the small welcoming toast being said, but he could only focus on looking on the beautiful siren in his arms. However as the music started to play he let go of her, bowing lightly for her. "Mrs. Blake-Mikaelson, would you give me the honor of this first dance of many?" he asked in a formal voice, but his lips were pulled up in a cheeky smile.

Josie said that she didn't have to be shy around her. Jasmine knew that, and she also knew that she just needed to warm up, and getting used to the idea of not having to be careful. It was a huge step for her. Jasmine nodded. "I'm getting there," she admitted with a warmer smile, "being here with you helps a lot," she added and tilted her head a little to the side. Jasmine felt her heart beating heavily in her chest with this warm and fussy feeling like no other. She had forgotten how it felt to be in love. Jasmine knew just by looking into the hybrid's eyes, that she wanted to spend eternity with her. Was that crazy?

Mariella raised her left brow a little bit by his whisper. She barely heard the toast, she was lost in his eyes. Mariella placed her drink next to his, without even thinking about it. All she wanted was to stay in his arms. She didn't say much, but her eyes spoke for her with ease. The siren watched him as he bowed lightly for her and asked her for a dance with his most formal voice. Mariella shook her head gently by his cheeky smile. "The honor would be all mine Mr. Blake-Mikaelson," she did a small curtsy before taking his hand to the dance floor.  The music was classic and perfect for a slow dance. The illusion of snow falling down around them, made the whole winter wonderland fantasy real. A tender smile was placed on the siren's lips as she looked up in the eyes of her one true love. The music played around them lifting away gravity. Her arm was placed around his waist, as they moved with the most elegant movement. Mariella rested her head of his chest, and let him sway her body round and round.  She moved her hazel colored up at him and admired him, the man she loved. The one person she knew that she would always love. Mariella smiled. She looked so happy in this very moment, and she was.

Jasmine looked over to the dance floor as Mariella and Reginald danced. A smile formed a little wider on her lips before taking another sip of the drink. Then she moved her eyes back to Josie. Then she  gently took Josie's glass, and placed the glasses on platters the servants walked around with. Jasmine grabbed Josie's hands in a swift yet soft movement. "I feel like I have been looking for you all my life," she suddenly confessed. Jasmine wasn't the one to hold back emotions like this, she could be quite open about it - and it felt like something was lifted off her shoulders now. Jasmine felt the butterflies flutter around in her stomach. She remained truthful about her words. "I used to feel so lonely. Even in crowds, but here right now. I'm happy in a way I haven't been a long time. Thanks to you," she took a deep breath in, "..I like the way you look at me," she smiled as she moved Josie's right hand up and kissed the back of her hand.
"Would you dance with me?" She then asked and folded her lips shortly in wait for reply.

Reginald couldn't keep himself from chuckling a little as she curtseyed for him, pulling her out on the dance floor. He didn't mind leading, mostly because he could do it so effortlessly. Growing up he had always danced at parties like this, remembering swinging his cousins around to their yearly New Years parties and what not. However it was and had always been different when he danced with Mariella. There was something in the way she just trusted him to lead her. The music was slow, and he swung his wife around delicately, always minding them not taking up too much space or bumping in to another pair of dancers. As she rested her head against his chest, he smiled, looking in to the room as he just moved them to the music. "I still replay our many first dances in my head - mostly when you're asleep," he confessed in a low tone. His words of soft nature only being meant for her ears to hear. "The first dance we ever had, how you smiled for the first time in what had felt like forever," he said, remembering how she had been glooming and keeping her distance. "Our first dance as husband and wife," he whispered softly, smiling at the memory of their wedding slash honeymoon. It had been before so much hardship. Part of him wished they had never left, just stayed in Auckland and made a family of their own. He knew it wouldn't have solved the inevitable, but part of him liked the thought. Vampires grew fast, and he knew his aging would stop at some point, leaving him frozen in that state forever. He had seen what joy children had brought those around him in his family, but starting one now would be a complicated mess in it of itself. "One day I hope that I'll experience the first dance with you as the mother of my children," he said, chuckling as he knew he was dreaming away to the unknown future, but was there really anything wrong with that? "I hope I get to dance the first dance with our daughter, or see you have the first dance with our son," he whispered, looking down at her with vulnerable eyes. It was a silly thought, but one that came from the heart, even if his wasn't beating.

Josie took a sip of her drink, smiling to herself as she just looked out at the crowd. Then Jasmine took her glass, making her frown in confusion until she felt both of the banshee's in hers. Looking into those cyan eyes just made her wonder. Wonder if she had ever seen a color so vibrant in her life. Listening to Jasmine's words made her sigh, trying to relax her body as she felt a little tension. Not a bad one, but one that made her skin scratch from just wanting to be closer to her. "I think I know what you mean," she replied with a smile. She had grown up surrounded by vampires and banshees, and she herself being a hybrid had made her doubt her own existence in this world. Zach had been one of her only ways of truly feeling something, but here Jasmine was suggesting something far deeper. What her and Zach did was an easy fix, but what Jasmine could offer would be a lifelong exclusion from the loneliness she felt in her fast beating heart. Josie couldn't help but chuckle lightly, mostly because the compliment seemed so genuine. "And I like the way you like the way I look at you," she giggled. She felt so giddy, an emotion she was not used to feeling, but Jasmine almost forced it out of her. Her eyes followed her hand up to the banshee's full lips, small goosebumps appearing up along her arm as she felt them press against the back of her hand. At Jasmine's suggestion she nodded. "I'd love to," she smiled.

IndlægEmne: Sv: A Christmas Dance   A Christmas Dance EmptySøn Dec 22, 2019 4:36 pm

Mariella listened to his confessions with a smile on lips. It was nice hearing and forced her to think back to the past. The good parts of the past. There were many times she had wished that they had stayed in Auckland or traveled somewhere else. His words were like a lane of memories running through her mind. She enjoyed it, thinking back like that. Mariella became more aware as he spoke about the future, she looked up at him with soft eyes. There was something in her that felt so warm, her chest felt so warm from hearing him talk about it. She didn't interrupt, but let her mind paint the images. Mariella could see it. Her gaze met his as he looked at her. "I like those thoughts," she spoke truthfully. A wider smile grew upon her lips, before she placed a short tender kiss on his lips.  Her eyes were so soft and filled with love. Mariella had never thought love could be so powerful, and here she was with the love that had made her fight through so much. “I’m excited for us to spend this Christmas together,” she then said with a tender tone. Mariella was used to spend Christmas with her mothers and siblings in New Zealand or in their kingdom, this would be the first time in Gaia - and with Reginald as her husband. It was nice having time off to just be themselves together, away from the mansion. She had needed that more than she would let on. "And this is just what I needed," she confessed with smirk on her lips as she lightly tilted her head a little to the side. "All I want to be is with you, and my dream came true."

Jasmine had always been quite the romantic, and it wasn’t a trait that she was ashamed off. The soft giggle made Jasmine’s smile glow even bigger. It was insane how this euphoria feeling rushing through her veins. It was a long time since she had felt this extreme feeling of being happy, and she was beginning to expect hope for her to find herself again. There was a light inside Josie’s eyes that seemed to guide her on the right path home, and she liked that. Jasmine had had trouble believing that she could have happiness, but right here, right now it was all she felt. She wanted to make this event, this night special for Josie. Something that she would remember and look back at with a smile on her lips. Her eyes lighted a bit more up when she said yes to her suggestion. Then she escorted Josie to the dancefloor and placed her right hand on Josie’s back to keep her in a close position. Dances like this were far from something she was unfamiliar with. It was something that came with being royalty and attending bunch of events, so taking the lead almost came natural to her. The last couple of years had made her hide and become insecure about a lot of things, this wasn’t one of them. Her movements were made with confidence, it was clear she knew what she was doing. Maybe this was just the spark she needed. She liked being this close to the hybrid, and felt her own heart skip a beat. The small thrills of excitement were roaming her system, making her feel more alive than she ever had been. “I know I already said that I’m happy you are here with me tonight, but I truly am,” she spoke with a low soft voice. She took a small breath in, as she gently moved around with Josie in the ballroom. It was in a moment like there was no one else, but them and the music. Music that played in such a beautiful almost alluring way, making her feel enchanted to song. “Ever since I’ve met you, you have been able to make me smile, even when you weren’t by my side. I need you in my life, is that insane to say?”

Reginald chuckled lightly at her words, because he looked forward to it all as well. He didn't want to hurry it up, because reality was he had eternity with the one he truly loved. They could spend their time together traveling and doing things they wanted before settling down. They didn't have to worry about money, but they did have to worry about the press wanting to follow them in the future. "Christmas is going to be weird, I just know it ... But on the other hand, I feel like it will be good for us; Perchance we'll even start some new traditions?" he said, his lips creeping up in to a gentle smile as he swung her around in their elegant dance. Reginald had always made dancing look easy, and his cousins had almost stood in line when they were younger to let him swing them around. Perhaps it was because he was a vampire, but his sister had always insisted it was a gift, because she often displayed to left feet. He looked into the eyes of the siren in his arms, smiling at her as he could feel the warmth radiate off of her. It had always been a strange concept to him; heat and how if came from a hot blooded creature. However since being with Mariella he hadn't thought much about it. It had become a part of his life, part of who he was, because he would not live without her by his side. "I've been thinking ... Perhaps going back to our real time would be the healthy option," he said, frowning a bit at his own words. He knew their younger selves were around, and risking it all would be too unwise. He loved Mariella, and he didn't care where they were as long as it was with her. However staying here for long would be bad. He sighed, looking at how happy Jasmine was right now. "But I can't force anyone ... And it's been so long since I've seen Jazzy like this," he said, frowning as he thought about it all. He knew some of their friends had gone back, and to be frank he missed his parents. And he knew Ana missed Sophie a lot, those two girls had been like peas in a pod.

Josie moved with Jasmine out to the dance floor, placing her arms around the banshee's waist and pulling her a little closer. She wasn't afraid to show affection, she hardly cared if anyone started whispering about them, all she needed was her banshee close and everything would be fine. Her banshee. Josie smiled to herself, feeling like she was acting like such a brat, claiming Jasmine before she could even give her consent. The hybrid didn't really know love in the traditional sense. Her parents were in love, that was sure, and she could see that the vampire and siren that Jasmine arrived with were quite in love. However the feeling itself was estranged to her. She couldn't help but smile at her small confession, swaying to the music and mostly just following whatever the banshee seemed to want. It was like being spellbound. "It is absolutely insane to say that," Josie replied, with a stoic expression before her features softened up, giving her a smile. "But I absolutely agree," she added. Josie had never really needed anyone, she had more so hungered for attention. She needed to feel wanted, to feel like someone longed for her. The hybrid leaned closer to the banshee's ear, her breath calm and warm against her neck. "Let's sneak away for a while," she whispered, taking the banshee's hand and moving off the dance floor. There was a lot of halls and rooms in a hotel, and Josie would be damned if they didn't go on a little adventure while they had the opportunity. If Jasmine let her, she would guide them to the elevator, pressing the button to go to the penthouse, a devious smile on her lips as she pulled out a small card. It made the panel turn green and up they went. "I'm sorry, but it appears you are not the only one with money," she giggled, pulling Jasmine closer to her in the elevator. She leaned closer to her face, her lips hovering over hers as she felt their breaths mix. A ding was heard from the elevator, making Josie sigh, but she let go of the banshee to move in to the penthouse suite. The large glass windows were all around, showing the light of the large city below, as well as the dim lights from the stars above. "I took my liberty to check in before the party ... I'm afraid I don't like things to be too public, but I'm guessing this is alright? - Or we could just go back to the party if you prefer?" she said, walking over to open a small fridge, pulling out a small vial of blood. It was hard for Josie to control her needs when people were around her all the time, so she preferred to get away to feed and calm down. "My metabolism is quite fast ... If I don't consume blood or copious amounts of food often, I get a little out of control," she explained with an apologetic look on her face.

It wasn't like she didn't know that in time, they would have to get back. Back to their own reality. It wasn't an as pleasant thought as she would hope for it to be. Mariella frowned a bit and took a deeper breath in, as her mind tried to bind together a response. It was a debate, maybe if she didn't worried so much about the outcome of everything - she actually could figure out how she felt about the idea. "It would be," she admitted because it was the truth. It was never meant for any of them to stay here this long. Things were already changing, and especially the family as she knew it was flipping around with dangerous waves. Tiana wouldn't be easy to move with, and her new obsession with this vampire who had turned her, worried her a bit - or maybe it was just her big sister instincts. Her relationship with Lion could have been better, but it was like every time something good happened they were forced into the darkest depths of the ocean and everything just broke.  Mariella looked over at Jasmine and Josie dancing. It made her smile. "Their bond is growing and glowing.. sometimes I wish you could see it," she chuckled a little. It was a weird way Mariella looked at people, all the strings and bonds people had was sometimes almost like a light show. But it had always been like that so she barely thought more about it. "However, we will figure something out. We always do," she breathed out and formed a smaller sweet smile on her lips. Vanya had been home to save Lion and take him back here, yet his stay had been so short - and she hated that her brother treated her like informing her didn't matter at all. Tiana was blindly in love, sired to him she called it - even more reasons to worry.
"As long as I am with you -" she looked up and locked her eyes with his just before she gently placed her lips upon his.

Jasmine liked control in the shape of dance, in the movements. Not that she was a dancer like Mariella and Tiana - but being royal, she had the elegance and knowledge of all the formal dance rutines. Jasmine lifted her brow a little by the stoic expression that shortly after began to be softer. Jasmine's smile grew even wider. When was the last time she had smiled so bright? Her face was beginning to hurt from all that smiling. The hybrid leaned closer, and Jasmine closed her eyes as she low whisper made the small hairs on her arms started to raise. Jasmine opened her eyes at the suggestion and before she could even nod, they were walking away from the dance floor. A bright laughter followed the banshee as they escaped the party. Jasmine had always been a sucker for adventure and escapes - it had just been taken from her for so long. It was hard to fully let her freedom in, but she was finally feeling it. The butterflies in her stomach was wild. Josie guided them to the elevator, and Jasmine giggled a little as the devious smile showed on the hybrids lips. "Oh really," She replied with a more cheeky smile. Jasmine enjoyed how Josie just pulled her closer. Leaning closer to her face, Jasmine could feel how her heart began to beat faster and faster - almost feeling like Josie took her breath away. Jasmine wanted to kiss her. Taste the hybrids lips, feel their softness upon her own. She wondered if they were as soft as they looked. The elevator trip was over before she got the chance to close the mystery. Jasmine followed Josie into the penthouse suite. The banshee's cyan eyes scanned the room with a smile on her lips. How she loved seeing the lights from the city and the stars. Feeling like they were on the top of everything. It felt like she was free. She was no longer a bird in a cage.
"No - no, this, its perfect," she felt her always tense shoulders relax just a little bit more. Jasmine tilted her head a little to the side as Josie took some blood. "Don't worry about it. We will just have a pizza party.. or something like that," she laughed a little. Yes she was what you could call a pretty girl, and if her mother had been all alone at raising her. She would never had touch anything that would be called 'unhealthy', having that picture perfect daughter was important to her mother.
