A Day off

The last couple of days had been shit, nothing had gotten him closer to the end of the case. He just need to relax a bit, on top of that, he had, been sleep walking and that was not normal for him, he had woken up in the forrest a couple of time, and that was a bit fucked up after his own opinion. He looked around, before he sat himself at the bar, a drink would be nice, just to lose his head a bit. 

Cassius order a drink, before he decide to go out, to relax with the drink, the rain was stooped so it was nice for once, to be outside, and just enjoey the night evening, where the heat was just perfect. He sat down with his whisky before he pour himself a drink, as he listen to the music in the area, it was very nice with some calm music for once.

The last couple of days, had been very wierd to be honest, but he was starting to figure out, what was happening to himself. For once, he had been a lot more hungry lately, after that wolf jumped him, but for now, he was trying to make everything work for himself, but the whisky did help no questions about that.

Zaidee had seen it again and again. The same face over and over. This new ability she had gained after she left the timeship had been impossible to handle or control. She had no idea how to stop them. All she knew was, that she felt like she needed to find him. Lately she had the vision of the words ‘late’ and ‘night’ standing out in her mind. She concluded it might have something to do with him.

She had researched the web for those words. Apparently, that was the name of a bar. Then she had to figure out what a bar was. She used many hours during the night figuring out where it even was, she was going. Being raised secluded from everything, made it hard for her to understand all those worldly things you learn as you grew up.

She turned a corner and stopped when she saw him standing there outside the bar. He was right there, no longer just in her mind. For a moment she was afraid she had made him up, but he was real. She walked up to him, maybe a little too close. ”I knew you would be here,” she said with a slight proudness in her voice. Her blue eyes studied him carefully.

Cassius did not think he would have been, this long sick, and trying to figure out what, was happening. He leaned himself up on the wall, as he looked up in the sky, it was a nice evening nothing, new, nothing new. He then bite himself, in his lip as he listen to the music, it was first when he heard a womans voice he came back to his sense, he turned around a bit confused, as she said she knew he would be here, how did she know that kind of stuff. Like it was not because, he did not understood what, she said he just did not understand how, she could know where he would be unless, she had stalked him.

"pardon me, who are you ?" He asked looking at the young girl, in front of him, "are you stalking me." He added as he looked at her very skeptical, why was she here he did not understand, how she knew he was here, he had not given anyone that information and he was new in this area

Zaidee didn’t understand why. She didn’t know why it was him she saw. It could have been anyone, but for some reason, he kept appearing to her. And now he was here in reality. At least she thought it was. It did seem to real to be anything but. However she was afraid she was sometimes losing her mind, which was the scariest thing she had ever tried. She had lived a very guarded life, but she had still seen anything, just not up close. She had seen things most people wouldn’t be able to. ”Right, yeah sorry. Names. I’m Zaidee.” She shook her head rather violently by his question. ”No. No I’m not. I uh… I saw you walk down here and it looked like you weren’t feeling well, so I wanted to check on you.” Maybe that was what she was supposed to do, maybe he needed help, and that was why she was here; to assist him. If it was because he was ill or for some other reason, she didn’t know yet. This was all new to her. She was still trying to understand her visions.

He looked at the young girl she looked to be 19, so she could drink, so it would not be weird for her being here. “Hello Zaidee, name is Cassius nice too meet you.” He added, before he took a little step away, he just need a pit of space, when people just came like this out of freaking nowhere, “I am fine, like I could be better but also a lot worse, just being tired of being on leave, as I cant work in their opinion, that being my boss, and the law enforcement.”

He added, before he send her a short smile, “so Zaidee, what can I help you with, like is there anything you wanne talk about or, anything I can help with, because to be honest, I could use something to do, so if there is anything you wanted to have help with let me know, like I need something to do. " He then looked at her with a smile, before he took a sip of his own drink.

He then send her a smile, “ shall we go inside the bar, my drink is running dry to kind of need a new drink to be honest, unless you do have a thing I can do, that can take me of drinking, to be honest I would like a lot more to do something great, before I am getting crazy of being on leave Zadiee.” Why he told her this he did not know, he just need to get a lot of stuff out of his system.
