Lines. Such a mundane thing. She didn't understand what the point was of this. If she wanted a caffeinated drink, she would take one herself. But lately, the devil had tried to mix in with God's precious creations. She didn't understand the appeal. They were weak and loyal to no other than themselves. It was so easy to strike fear in their heart, that anyone could rule over them. Was there even a point with them? No, she preferred her demons much more. She had to work to make them fear her. Of course few of them knew which body she was in now. She had originally attempted to snake her way into Abigal's life, but soon given up on that plan, as it became too boring to life a good and honest life. Lucifer took a step forward, as the person in front of her did. She sighed annoyed of the slow service. She decided to just skip the line. She walked past the other people in line to the front and looked at the young man in front of the line. "I would strongly advice each of you to leave this place." They talked indirectly, some even chuckled at her. What a disrespect. She had gotten used to this new body, but she was not a fan of being underestimated. "It seems to be the hard way then," she looked into the young man's eyes. Her eyes narrowed, and he began to scream, as drops of blood squirted out of his eyes and onto her face. He fell on the floor dead. All the people in line ran away screaming. She turned to the cashier. There had been three to start with, now only remained, a horrid expression on her face. "Coffee, black." She looked at the pastries. "And a double chocolate cookie," she ordered. "W-we don't h-have anymore c-cookies," the worker stammered. "Better figure something out," she said and went to a table. She found a mirror to remove the blood stains from her face.

O: A long sleeved black turtleneck shirt and dark grey jeans <3 Whenever he came to the coffee shop it was always the same. People standing in a long line, waiting to get their favorite coffee. He envied them, how delighted they all looked at they sipped their drinks, indulging in the apparent heavenly taste of coffee. Zach had tried it once, it tasted nothing like the heavens, more like muddy rainwater that could have had dog piss in it. He sat at a table, sipping the horrible coffee as he saw a rather attractive lady starting to cut the line. He furrowed his brows in interest as she seemed to be rather determined to get her coffee right away than standing in line. As she approached the first one in the row, a young man that didnt seem to want to move. But as blood started spurting out of him and his screams filling the tiny shop, Zach's jaw dropped just a little bit as everyone else was consumed by the chaos. Finally something interesting had happened in this dull place, and as the angel asked for cookies, he eyed the cookie he had on his plate, untouched. The shop was empty, it was only the cashier, the angel and Zach left. He rose to his feet and grabbed his plate as he walked over to her, placing the plate on the table as he looked into her eyes, "You can have mine. Double chocolate and all. I got the last one," he then said, forcing a charming smile. He had gotten good at faking the emotions that he felt, making him a bit more lively in the company of people. But he hated expressing it, yet something had made him do it anyway. He looked to the empty chair at the table and looked at her, "Mind if I sit down?" he asked and tilted his head a bit.

Lucifer was bored. She wanted something to happen. Yes, popping blood vessels in people’s heads was fun, but she needed a new kind of fun. Something unexpected and out of her control. She was surprised when not everyone had left. She lifted her gaze to the young man that stood by the table. ”Thank you very much,” she said and looked towards the desk. The remaining employee had disappeared. It was still hard to see she was pregnant, as it had only been about a month. She felt the cravings though. ”Please do,” she said and took a bite of the cookie. She had never been much for all these sugary edibles, but lately she had barely eaten anything else. She tilted her head and looked at the demon in front of her. She could just tell. There was an energy with demons she could recognize from the others. ”You didn’t run,” she stated and looked to the dead boy in the front. She probably shouldn’t stay long, at some point the body would cause questions, and she hadn’t exactly been subtle about killing him. ”Are you a fan of the macabre mr…?” She said, fishing for his name. She was currently operating under two names. A ‘human’ name and the name that could frighten most. She hadn’t even worked that hard for her reputation. It just came with the territory. Although she had given the territory to her daughter, she hadn’t quite made a name for herself yet. The name Lucifer was still associated with hell and the devil.

The way she spoke was so formal, and Zach was rather formal as well. He sat as she allowed it and lifted his leg over his knee to sit a bit more comfortably, folding his hands on the table as she said he hadnt run. He narrowed his eyes and leaned back in the chair as he analyzed her features as he spoke, "Why would I run? You had all your rights to do what you did. If only that young man had remembered his manners and moved away, then there wouldnt have been a problem," he then said as he turned his eyes to the dead guy on the floor. She was dangerous, this woman, and he felt somewhat drawn to it. Maybe it was his self destructive ways that sought out the danger, but he was dangerous as well. With his ability, not yet mastered, he always wore gloves no matter where he went. "Lovegood. Zachary Lovegood," he replied and narrowed his eyes at her as he wondered what her name could be. Surely she wasnt a human, that was clear. He felt her soul even from a distance and it was deep and powerful. But that only made her that more interesting, this mysterious woman that had emptied a whole coffee shop for a coffee and a cookie, "And yours?" he then returned the question, with a clear interest in his tone. She was beautiful, that much he knew. He turned his eyes down to the plate and then back to hers, "Doubtfully there'll be more cookies here.. Or people to deliver them," he said the last sentence being rather intrigued. He let the forced charming smile come back as he leaned a bit closer to her, "Do you always make your ways through crowds with such power?" he asked curiously.

Lucifer had very different ways of speaking to people, depending on the situation. He had been kind to her, so he deserved the calmer and collected side of her. She watched him as he fell into a more comfortable position. His logic was flawless in her opinion, but she had also learned not everyone followed her train of thoughts. She appreciated people who did. ”If everyone just understood that, the world would be an easier place to live in.” She could only dream of such as world. She glanced down at his gloved hands for a moment. Curious. Her gaze fell back to his when he introduced himself. ”Hayden White.” She watched him carefully. He was different, that much was clear. When he smiled, something was somehow off. Lucifer was not an expert on emotions, far from, but she could see it. Even though it was rather convincing. She didn’t doubt a less intelligent and more gullible person would fall for the smile. What really interested her, was the fact that he felt a need to smile. Why? She tilted her head of his words. ”I have learned cookies are as good a natural resource in this world. I would find another,” she stated. She raised an eyebrow slightly as he leaned closer. She followed his action and leaned forward as well. ”If I desire something, I will take it,” she let her gaze fall to his lips a short moment, before she looked into his eyes again. Desire was a strange size. In her former body, she would possibly had passed this man on the street and not give it another thought, but right here, in this body, it was different. He was intriguing, exciting, perhaps a little dangerous. ”I am curious, Mr. Lovegood. What do you desire?” Lucifer had no power to control people or make them say something they didn’t want to, but she had quite the convincing personality and aura. The weak minded might be inclined to do what she asked. Although something told her, Zachary Lovegood was anything but weak minded. Would he play along with her game, or simply decline to answer?

"The world is awfully complicated," he added to her what-if. Sure a world like that would be great, but it could never be like that. There would always be someone who didnt understand, but the good thing was that they could easily be taken down. Zach couldnt really care for many lives, especially if their demise was due to insolence. He noted her name and gave her a gentleman's nod. "A craving is a craving," he then said as he looked at her, with his neutral expression. He wasnt going to hide that he knew what a craving looked like, he had seen his dead wife eat the weirdest sorts of things in her pregnancy, but he couldnt be certain that this was the same. Maybe the angel just really liked her cookies? Even though that thought on it's own didnt seem trustworthy. There had to be some meaning to it. As she leaned forward with him, his eyes studied her face as she answered. He felt her eyes on his lips, and instinctively, he opened his mouth slightly just to close it again - A tempting move on his behalf. He narrowed his eyes a bit but kept them on hers, "As is your right," he answered to her words, shifting between her beautiful eyes. Her question made him scoff, a smile hidden in the physical betrayal, yet his face showed no such thing. His eyes laid on hers for a while as he thought about it, his stare may have been a bit intense, before he then moved his eyes away and looked out on the people that walked by, oblivious to the horrors that had happened here earlier, leaning a bit back in his chair again. "I desire a great deal of many things," he said, a vague answer. His eyes fell on a woman who was holding her child with a big smile on her face, "I wish for what I have lost at my own hands. A family," he then said, as he then shook his head a bit and turned his eyes back to the angel, a small smile hiding in his eyes, "Till then, I want everyone else to feel what it's like to lose. Know how heartbreaking it is," he said rather seriously as he moved his eyes back on the woman, an anger slightly shining in his eyes now. "My desire for the moment though... Is seeing if a pretty woman in a coffee shop with her deep love for cookies look as good as she does with a smile," he then said in a charmful tone, turning his eyes back to meet the angel's. He leaned a bit back in his chair, now his curiosity was sparked as well. "What do you desire, Miss Hayden?", a little turn of the tables seemed like a good move to their little game.

Lucifer nodded in agreement to his statement. Her father had surely created a world filled with complex situations and people. She took a sip of her coffee. When he mentioned cravings, she rose one eyebrow slightly. ”Aren’t you the observant kind,” she said and let her hand rest on her stomach. She didn’t feel much of the baby yet. After so many years of the male persuasion, she finally got to feel what it was like to be a woman, a pregnant one of that. This baby was going to be her best accomplishment yet. All her other children had someone else’s genes, but this one didn’t. It was all Morningstar. Lucifer definitely felt some attraction to this man. When he caused more attention to his lips, she just felt the attraction grow. Her gaze returned to his, and she leaned back in the chair again. She followed his gaze to the people walking by. His words made her look back at him. He then went back to the expression and attitude she had first recognized in him. He was vengeful, just like her. ”As is your right,” she said, using his own words. She knew the want to make everyone feel what she felt. She did that often. Everyone had an opinion of the devil, but few actually tried to understand her. She was not that different as many else. He ended his list of desires with a compliment to her. She rewarded him by giving him the smile he had talked about. Soon after, he face fell back into an empty expression. ”You are quite the charmer,” she stated. She folded her hands in her lap when he asked her the same question. ”Vengeance mostly,” she said. ”My father was a scientist of sort. He attempted to create new life. When I began to question his creations, he threw me away. His creations were more important to him than me. He wanted me to treat these little things as family. He wanted me to love them. All I did was love him, too much if you ask him. That was enough reason to exile me. Ever since I have looked for a way to get back at him.” She rarely told her side of the story. She had tried, but people were often so hell-bent on her being the devil, being the cause of everything bad, that they couldn’t see past it. Maybe Hayden White was good for more than a cover, maybe this could mean someone would finally understand her story. ”And cookies,” she said and took another bite of it. She looked at him. ”At the moment, I suppose I just want good company,” she added. ”And here we are.”
