Dance the troubles away

Victoria tilted her head a little bit, not sure if it was all. "Sure it can have something to do with it, then there is the even if you love someone: maybe the life you have with them is just not meant for you. And you can't get yourself to let go, because no matter if its the best for both parts, it will still hurt," she clicked her tongue a little bit. In the end she had left Rafael, no matte what sort of love they had been in, Eric claimed she had never truly loved Rafael as she had thought, who knew. But she had still hurt him by leaving him. Or well she didn't know how he felt about it, but she was for sure better off. "Then there has been the entire event from the beginning of the month, and what it triggered - can't say blame him for needing to break a little free," judging anyone for wanting to break a little loose these days was not on her to do list. Victoria turned her head around looking at Penelope with big eyes, even if it was Kailani whom Penelope showed her phone to. Victoria took a few steps towards the bar to see what it was about.

Kailani took a look at the phone and pressed her brows a bit together, Lotus Casino and Hotel, River was so not going to like this. Especially not tonight of all nights. Kailani exhaled a little bit looking towards Victoria shortly, then following her sister. Angela walked over to Victoria to ask if she wanted to get going or not, then following along, the shapeshifter looked shortly back as Zoe walked towards Dion - trusting she would look after him.

Dion exhaled a little, feeling the moment running out the second Zoe grabbed his arm, not because it was over - maybe he just feared it would be. Not that Dion needed a fancy place or anywhere really to throw a party, he was the party. The last year he just seemed to have forgotten that, but the feeling was slowly returning to him. Feeling more like his old good self again. Now, he knew Zoe's family wasn't the greatest fans of River's. Not many were a fan of River Turner, Dion had been great friends with the vampire back in the day however, not that they hung out that much now. But sometimes he missed it. Just like he sometimes missed hanging out in Southside, getting into trouble - he had even been a part of the Serpents in his lifetime - that lowlife dream - or what the hell people called it. "Fine," he sighed a little bit, then following along with the girls, placing his hand shortly on top of Zoe's.

When they came to the big Greek-inspired building, the whole place was undoubtedly pulling you in, beckoning you to come closer and emerge yourself in the atmosphere and the people. It was like if Dion was a place, this was it, and for a moment, more than one of the girls just stood there and wondered, why hadn’t they been here before? It was nestled in between the older buildings of Aston. Clearly, it wasn’t a part you came in unless you were looking for this place.
Penelope stood there for a moment and just stared. Now she knew River wasn’t going to like this, but she was both too drunk to care, and she had the perfect reason why they should, because who wouldn’t they be if not scoping out the competition?
She quickly pulled Selene with her, and like the group moved in unison, and the feeling of the place only intensified when they stepped inside.

Rhea was quick to feel the presence of someone she knew, not that it was the same intensity, which could only mean one thing.
She moved so gracefully through the crowd as she finally came to the small group of people. River’s folk, now that was interesting indeed, but even then, she couldn’t help but let her eyes wander to Dionysus, son; “Dion, what a surprise to see you here”, she said with a soft voice before letting her eyes go back to the girls “Kailani! I was hoping you would come by, please, don’t hold yourself back at the bar, I don’t mind you taking pictures so you can go back to River and tell him how we do things here” she took a step closer and fished a business card out of her bra “but if you ever find yourself in a moment where nothing makes sense, and you want to escape, don’t hesitate to call me, we could use a girl like you here” she hummed, before giving them all a smile before walking away with the tray filled with opium puppies on it, handing it out to other costumers as she passed them.

Dion for one couldn't help but smile as they saw the building. He did know about the different spots in Athena after all, what kind of party god would he be if he didn't know? Even so, he had found so much joy in creating his own parties that he rarely had time to visit other places, or he had - he had chosen not to after he had cut most of his ties with River. As they entered he looked around, it was an odd yet incredible sensation that reached his chest. A feeling of belonging he hadn't really felt like this before, like a part of the huge puzzle he had left unsolved perhaps just had found a few of the missing pieces. "Oh Rhea, just admit you've missed me, just a little bit," he teased giving her a smaller wink before letting his eyes once again wonder across the space they were in. However, Rhea's attention didn't stay on him as Kailani suddenly became more interesting than the demi-god, not that Dion didn't totally understood that.

Kailani let her smile grow just a little bit further into a cheekier smile. It wasn't like Kailani was going to spoil her night out by being a spy for River, if River wanted to know how people did things else where, he could get off his ass and check it out instead of just sitting in his office. However so, Kailani couldn't help but find the offer rather intriguing still as Rhea handed her the card, "I'll let you know," she gave Rhea a small nod, then heading more or less towards the bar area.

Victoria took a sharper breath in, really just taking in the space, it was rather magnificent. She loved how Rhea had went all the way with how the place was displayed, making the entire experience of being here exceptional. "Lets get some drinks then," Dion exclaimed and grabbed Zoe and Delphine's arm with a hooking his own around theirs and moved to the bar. Victoria looked shortly towards Angela and Selene, while Kailani tried to follow Penelope who clearly had a few too many drinks - if there was a amount called too many.

She let them have their fun, took her time as she walked around her other patrons, and getting them in the mood for fun and games; it was like it had always been, the same charade day in and day out, so when she was graced with the presence of Dion, now the word on the street had told her that the party demi-god had become a married man, now that wasn’t something that would keep the nymph from testing the waters of just how strong that marriage bond was, she would lie if she said she hadn’t always had a good eye to the young man; that, of course, wasn’t so young anymore.
So when she finally saw her opportunity where the girls seemed to have gathered around a table to play, she walked over to get him alone for a bit.
“I have missed you,” she said in a low voice, standing a few steps behind him; she handed him a glass of water, letting him choose himself what he wanted to drink. “So, how have you been? I feel like it has been an eternity since I last saw you,” she giggled, taking a sip of her champagne before pushing some of her hair behind her ear, her eyes once again watching how the girls were laughing while they kept winning, undoubtedly because of Kai giving them a helping hand in their luck, not that she minded, no, tonight was all about having fun and the party.

Dion turned his head towards Rhea, raising his brow a little. He took the glass she handed him, turning it into a good champagne before taking a sip. Dion felt his power gaining back after having lost so much of it the past months by not being out and about. It was so easy to just get used to sit still and be inside the house because things were so busy. Yeah, he went for walks in the neighborhood, went to visit Cassian a couple of times with Vanessa. But, he hadn't been out like this in a very long time, and it was a lesson he should have learned hundreds of years ago: he shouldn't resist the urge, because it would back fire at some point. "You know how it is, life keeps me busy, haven't been out and about as much as I would like," he confessed with a slightly dry chuckle. Dion right now, just wanted to be Dion, the life of the party he had been till his life had been turned upside down. Dion felt cruel for even thinking like that, selfish, perhaps he just was selfish, not meant for the life he had tried to take a piece of. He loved his daughter with all of his heart, there was no doubt about it. Him and Evelina just were from two entirely different worlds, and it was beautiful how they had crashed into each others lives. But he also couldn't shake that she had some unsolved feelings for Ethan, even if she tried to hide it from him, Dion noticed more than many realized. "How about you, just thriving here in your little wonderland?"

Dion related to her wording, for the most part at least. Then he knew that he had a good handful of people who loved him for him, and he could thank Cassian for time to time assuring him over the years by the use of his ability to shield others from Dion's ability. But her hand on his shoulder had made him exhale, finding a little bit of comfort. It was always nice knowing someone who felt or shared the same burden as you, because others never truly didn't understood what was going on in your head or how you saw the world. They couldn't possibly begin to understand till they tried it themselves. Dion nodded a little bit, this was the first time in months were he really felt like himself completely, getting fed with all the energy and emotion he needed to make sure he himself was able to power through the rest of his life. But it also made him wonder for a moment if he could settle with that, just once in a while go out and regain his strength. He knew Evelina never had asked for him to settle, but he also so desperately wanted to try be a part of her world, in the end perhaps he just couldn't for that long without risking his own health. "Oh I know," he said after a while. Then he held out his hand, "care to join me on the dance floor, and let the party begin for real then?" He raised his brow a little while a small smirk crossed his lips. Mixing their energies on the floor, the most dangerous tango of all time.

She hummed when he agreed, but it didn’t take long before he asked if she wanted to join him in a dance, a giant smile formed on her lips; “I wouldn’t miss that for the world,” she giggled, almost making every word that left her lips sound like she sang them, she placed her glass on a table near them, before she took his hand and walked a few steps to the dancefloor. Her hand lifted, and the DJ noticed it right away, putting on music that was a little louder than it had been before, making almost everyone stop at what they were doing and turning their attention toward the energy that started to form around the two people, deities on their own right harbouring the feelings of joy and ecstasy.
A laugh bubbled from her throat as she threw her head back; it had been a long time since she had felt this content. A dangerous feeling, especially when she knew that he had to go home at one point, not being able to keep this party going for days without end, as they had been used to in the past. No matter, she would take this opportunity and take advantage of it to the fullest.  

He took her hand and moved towards the dance floor, feeling the energy consume him completely, not minding how spellbound he felt right now. He was high on the energy he had been lacking off. Dion's smile grew bigger on his lips, liking the attention he got from the crowd as their heads turned to look at the energy that unfolded from him and Rhea, their auras just floating out into the room making everyone affected one of the other way by their abilities, and he didn't even care to stop. Dion spun Rhea around, then just started to dance to the beats of the music.
Victoria grabbed onto her phone shortly, watching Dion wondering what the story was with these two, and in her more tipsy state she picked up her phone and went to text Cassian, even if he might already be asleep - she didn't look at the time.

You know what the history is with Dion and this Rhea girl we just ran into?? also he is acting kinda weird, but anyway! I will just talk to you tomorrow

Then she put her phone away and couldn't possibly resist the powers of both Dion and Rhea, and to be fair, she didn't want to. So, she grabbed onto Penelope's hand and dragged her off to the dance floor. They were here to dance and party after all, so why not enjoy this rare feeling that the two deities was able to bring to the table. Dion reached out shortly and spun Victoria around, before letting her dance with Penelope again and then returned his attention to Rhea once again.

It was so hard not to let yourself get pulled in by the energy that was happening on the floor. Everyone was dancing, if they were in the bar they stood there, there wasn’t a place that was too awkward. It was like a symphony of people coming together and letting the flow of the two powers combined completely enthral you.
A pearl of laughter left Rhea as he spun her around, and she came back into his arms. As their eyes connect, she could feel the pull—like she had done so many times before. Most people would stop there, especially when they knew they were dancing with a married man.

Penelope was already swaying to the music, her eyes drunkenly trying to make sense of her surroundings. It wasn’t until someone suddenly pulled her out of her trance that she sensed that she might have gotten a little too much. But she quickly forgot that when she saw whom she was dancing with. Beautiful Victoria.
Joy spread in her chest, laughter escaped her as she saw how Dion spun Victoria before she was brought back to her, which she happily took advantage of and started dancing a little closer.

Rhea—she didn’t care, she knew she should, but she wasn’t that type of person. When there was something she wanted she went for it. And as if they were being shielded from the outside world by the many people dancing around them, she leaned in, just enough to let her lips briefly grace his.

It was like magnets getting drawn together, getting him high on levels where he wasn't even in control over his own body, he was just energy pulsing throughout the room. He barely noticed how her lips briefly graced over his lips, or maybe he did, even if a huge part of him longed to give in to the feelings that extracted from him, he didn't. There was something holding him back, and he knew just what it was, so instead of doing more about it, he spun Rhea around, having her back against his chest, placing his hands on her hips while moving to the music. Dancing hours from now, till finally Selene had to drag the girls out of there because their legs almost couldn't carry them anymore.

Dion just sat at the bar, not wanting to escape the aura, the raw emotion playing around him, how filled with power and how high he was on everything around him. He had to figure things out, he had to. He then made his way home, realizing what time it was, his wife was not going to take pleasure in him being home at this hour.
