He had had to leave Grounds of Lily - or he hadn't had to, but this feeling that his brother and sister, not to mention the rest of the family were looking for him. Adonis somehow couldn't have that, so he had went into hiding like always. Adonis was good at that, suddenly appearing to just vanish as if he hadn't been at surface. Now, he hadn't left town yet completely. Because he had seen someone a few days ago that had caught his wolf to tick. Revna. Adonis had an easy go here, with the entire pack from Russia led by Stepan to cause people to be uneasy, well, then Adonis could pretty much do whatever he wanted while everyone still searched for Alyona and Nikolay. But Revna. There was some history there, and despite it being so long ago, he'd never liked her and for second she was a vampire.

She had seemed so upset, of course he had picked up on that from afar. Not paid much attention to what was going on - or maybe she just didn't care? Adonis didn't count his luck as he had moved closer, and sedated her not anything that would completely knock her out other than perhaps just paralyze her enough to also know who caught her. Adonis' eyes met hers as his arm snaked around her to keep her up, he smiled at her, but not the smile you really wanted. "Expecting someone else to come sweeping you of your feet? Happy Valentine's day Revna," he chuckled with his husky voice, before moving them out of the small pub where he had snuck up on her. "See, my day just got a whole lot better now," he turned around a corner towards the nearest valley where no one seemed to be either way. He let his wolf fangs out and lifted her arm up, closing his jaw around her delicate pale skin. Now, a bite from a werewolf could cause hallucinations, so could Adonis' bite. It could also kill, but it was not to say it if would - there were plenty of different ways the bite could affect her. Then he didn't let go of her till he was sure that she wouldn't just run off, otherwise, he would just have to break a leg - and was that really necessary by now? "What's wrong dollface, bad week?"

She was done at the academy, and all she needed to do was actually just drive back to Oscar’s place. She had a surprise for him, she had been able to find someone that could build and salvage the piano that had been broken. It was now sitting in his living room with a note on it, that it was from her, and she hoped he liked it. But even though she had gotten through the day rather well, she had been reminded everywhere she walked that it was valentine’s day. And even though she had never really been one to celebrate the holidays, but rather just wanted to make everyday a little special. It was a constant reminder that she had left Zadkiel. So, instead of going home she had found a small pop where she had sat in the corner, looking at an untouched pint of bear and ate a couple of peanuts. She was so occupied in her own mind, that she hadn’t really realized that the smell and feel of the werewolf in the pub was something she knew. Why should she care?

Noticing the time, she got up, but before she got far. She felt someone creep closer, before she could do anything she felt how her body started falling. What on earth? She turned her head and looked at who was by her. Adonis? Her eyes widened, almost making her scream for help. But the sedative he had given her worked quicker than her ability to flush it through her blood could work. “Please don’t” she whispered as he started moving her out of the pub. She couldn’t fight him, every limp felt like they carried twenty pounds each. Moving her with ease into an alley way no one looked twice. Why did nobody see that she needed help?
She turned her head towards the busy street, and then his teeth bit through the shirt’s fabric into her arm. She let out a moaned scream that was subdued in strength because of whatever it had been he had given her. She felt how the poison glided through her blood stream. “Bad decades” she whispered back, looking into his eyes. She gasped in pain and her body started to spasm. Her head hit into the brick wall behind her. “Please Adonis, don’t do this” but she didn’t’ even had the strength to argue against him. At least she had made sure that she no longer had any ties to the Nelson’s. See, Adonis was one of the types of enemies that would have gone after who she loved, if it meant getting to her.

Music to his ears, there was nothing he wanted more than to watch the vampire die a slow and painful death. He chuckled a little as she mentioned bad decades, well now that wasn't his problem. His problem was the fact that she was still roaming earth, as if she had any right to. The gasp of pain and how her body reacted to the poison that rushed through her system, there wasn't any sign on his face that even began to show he empathized with her. Why should he? Please Adonis, don’t do this, a small laugh echoed in the alley by those words, "but oh honey, don't you realize? This is what you get, you really think that I would let you of all people roam around here without any consequences, nah, I don't think so," he shook his head a little as his eyes scanned her. "Maybe I should just put you out of your misery, huh? How about that? End that pathetic life of yours, I would do everyone a favor," Adonis clicked his tongue a little bit moving his hand to make a fight grib around her throat to keep her standing, his head tilted a little to the side there was nothing but disgust in his eyes. Well of course, even before he had lost his heart there had been a hatred to vampires, but without any feelings left - there was little to know empathy left to stop himself from just killing her. "Any final words?" He asked as his grip tightened. Well a neck snap wouldn't kill her, but perhaps beheading if he let his claws out would.

Was this really it? After everything. How hard she had fought, and the sacrifices she had done. She would just die here, in an ally. It could take between hours to days before someone would find her. Would anyone really mourn that she was gone? Zadkiel would blame himself, she knew that already. Thinking that he should have done more, called her more times or tried to find her convince her to come back. But she knew that there was nothing that Zadkiel could have done to prevent this, because this was why she had left. She just wished she could have had the strength to tell him that. Maybe Oscar would even be sad that she was gone, even though he hated her. Even when he had told her that everything, she looked at rotted away. She was essentially poisons and Adonis was right. He would do everyone a favour with killing her. Even her children wouldn’t mourn that she was gone. Aria already thought that the mother she knew were dead. Ace, well he had been grateful for the fact that she had helped heal Hope when she had almost died. River, he had run from the family at the opportunity he had gotten. She had even given him the gift that he didn’t want, a bodyguard bound to his life.
She felt the pressure around her neck, feeling how the poison burned through her veins trying to shut down her brain, only her powers not letting it enter so it could kill her. Any final words? “Fuck you” she chocked laughing closing her eyes leaning back. She could of course attempt to fight back, but right now. She might as well die; she had thought about taking her own life so many times the last couple of weeks. So why not.

Fuck you, he laughed a little, "don’t threaten me with a good time," he said with an almost whisper, watching her give up. Perhaps if he had had his heart he would have given his time of day, but right here and right now - he just wanted to get over with it. "Hey asshole," a voice sounded from around the corner and just as Adonis looked to the side, he watched other vampire coming towards him with enough speed to make Adonis let go of Letha in attempt to get a hold of the vampire. What Adonis however got was a brick thrown right in his head, enough to knock him at least to the floor with blood moving from his forehead towards his eye. River looked towards his mother, before using his speed with a quick movement to lift her up and place her a bit further away, before he walked closer towards Adonis he moved closer to him. "You Radclyffee's really are starting to piss me off - again," he mumbled a little bit and cleared his throat as the werewolf launched towards him. Well, if there was anything River was good at - it would be escaping, to keeping Adonis at distance seemed almost too easy.

Now River could just grab his mother and run. But he would have yet another Radclyffee breathing down his neck, it was more than enough he knew Elias was in down, he didn't need Adonis in his heels as well - well he could at least by himself some time. His casino wasn't far from here, and he knew if he kept this going for too long it wouldn't be long before Lucille or Bast came breathing down his neck. "You know if you just stand still, I will just put you down like the bad dog you are, and I can go home - how is that?" River asked lashing his arms out to the side, making Adonis growl, "no? Okay then, we will do this the hard way." The yellow eyes glowed, "oh, looks like someone got mad?" River chuckled. Only to piss off the werewolf again, which was perhaps the whole idea of this, because Adonis kept coming at him like a bull seeing red. By then it was much easier for River to have control over a situation rather than being the one to strike first. So he just stood there watching Adonis as he came closer, and closer, and within the last few steps, he with grace spun around and got a grab around the werewolf's neck and it took a twist that echoed in the dark alley, followed by the sound of the fallen werewolf on the ground. River took a deeper breath in, "look now I got blood on my tux," he mumbled a little bit looking at the small stain of werewolf blood.

Then he looked towards his mother and sighed a little bit. At least he wasn't surprised to see her in town. "Way to make an entrance, huh?" He mumbled a little bit annoyed before walking over to help her up. "Let's get out of here," he looked shortly towards the dead werewolf, before he took his mother to his casino - in the back obvious - no need to scare off costumers.

When the grip around her neck was released, Letha couldn’t keep standing on her legs, so she just fell to the ground like someone had cut her strings to her body. A soft groan left her, while she tried to fight off the infection that was spreading in her body. Even though she didn’t need air she was gasping for it. Not really noticing what was going on around her. She felt arms around her, putting her further away, where she just keeled over and closed her eyes. Mostly because it was so tiring to keep using energy to make sure that Adonis bite didn’t reach her brain and that would potentially be the end of her.

She heard fighting and understood the voice where it was coming from had to be River’s. Her son. What a coincidence that he would even be here. She found it even more remarkable that he was actually helping her. Knowing very well he didn’t have any lost love for his mother. The woman that she had once been. Was not worthy of love, nor help.

She opened her eyes as she heard how the neck snapped. Looking towards Adonis lying lifeless in the alley. Watching River walking back towards her and picked her up. A strained laugh left her “You always knew how to make the best entrances River” she joked, giving him a warm smile. “Thank you” she mumbled, nodding as he told her that they needed to get out of there. Moving her feet, the best she could. Everything just moved so slow.  “Fucking hell, I knew that Melanie and Damian were in town, but I didn’t know Adonis was here as well” she growled in pain closing her eyes again leaning against River. “Could we, maybe get my things – in the pub, I need, I need to tell Oscar” she whispered, before everything went black

"I know, but I were speaking about yours," he mumbled a little as he kept his arm around his mother's waist, encouraging her to hold her arm over his shoulder. River didn't say anything to her thanking him, it was very rare that people thanked him, other than when he stopped causing or bringing drama home. "The whole gang is here - everywhere, fucking sucks," he mumbled a little bit. Not only the Radclyffee gang, okay not because the entire family were together, but the part he was mostly worried about were. Then there was his own. The Jones' - River didn't have beef with the Sinclair family like most, so he wasn't bothered by them. "I will send someone for them, the last thing we want is to get unwanted attention for me carrying you around looking like I drugged you - even no, that is not the last thing I want, the last thing I want to to include my father in this, hell no - besides him rolling with the Radclyffee's is why we got in all this trouble to begin with, and the fact he kept keep his nose from them, or Melanie -- you know how that goes, he isn't in trouble," River mumbled a little bit. Well, it was a lie Oscar could be in as much trouble as the rest of them, but he had a better card to play - because he apparently had two children with Melanie - so killing him, wouldn't that just bring too much drama in? That was the world according to River. Then he looked down. "Oh bloody hell did you just -" he grunted a bit realizing his mother had blacked out and he had just been walking talking to himself. Then he just moved inside from the back and entered the secret entrance to his office and placed her on the sofa. Then heading to his desk and opened it, now he owned a lot of things. Because River was a master of getting out of every sticky situation, so he had a cure for many things. "Lucille - have you seen the cure for deadly stupid poisons?" He called as he could hear she was close by.

It wasn’t unusual that River decided that he was going for a walk. Or just found something far more interesting to do, than running his Casino. Now, Lucille never blamed him for doing what he did, as long as he stayed out of trouble. Which was the only reason why she liked that he stayed where she could watch him. But other than that, he was the boss, and could do as he pleased. That was what you hired people to do for you. Or how much you liked working yourself.

Lucille lifted her head from her own office as she heard someone come in the backdoor. She quickly pulled off her glasses and walked towards where she heard what had to be River rummaging around to find someone. Then he called. “Its in the top drawer to your left” she told him as she stepped into the room, looking towards Revna lying in the sofa. A scowl glided over her face “Why is she here?” she had to make sure not to snarl as she asked, now she had come to care River in her own way.  But she still didn’t like the woman that had made it so she couldn’t have her own life. Even so, she walked over and tried to figure out what was going on. Then she noticed the black veins and the bite mark in har arm. “What on earth happened?” she asked turning her head over her shoulder raising a brow.

"Right," he whispered to himself as he heard Lucille's reply to his question. Then he looked shortly to his mother, well funny enough he had lived so long without his family - barely ever really thinking about them if he was being honest - and yet something stirred in him by seeing her, even if she never had really been like a mother to him, had she? It was so many years ago his mind could rarely twist around it. River had always felt like Lucille was far more family to him than his actual family, the many roles Lucille had played over the vampire's long life. Well, Lucille entered the room, and it was first by the question that River actually realized it. Most likely still a bit up in the clouds after his face to face with Adonis. "Adonis Radclyffee, he attacked her - so I killed him. Bloody Radclyffee's," he mumbled the last part, realizing he had a bit of blood stain on the back of his hands as well. Either way, Adonis would have come as a threat either way, his bite could kill and he had been this close to the casino - River didn't like that. Hopefully he had learned a little not to get too close to River - most likely he hadn't, but one could only hope. "I think he bit her, she collapsed rather quickly. I'm not even sure a normal cure can heal his bite, unless she is very lucky," he mumbled a little bit. River picked the vial with the cure from the shelf and walked closer towards his mother and Lucille.

She was opening Letha’s blouse so she could take a better look at the damage the poison was doing to her body. When River mentioned the fact that it was Adonis Radclyffee that had attacked her. Now, it wasn’t really what made the groan leave her. But it was the next thing. That he had killed him. Everyone knew that had dealt with the werewolf family knew that they came back after you killed them, but that didn’t help on the fact that they were still pissed when you killed one of them. One could just look at what had happened to Revna all those years ago. How she had been put in a prison and left behind, there was a reason many hadn’t dared to open and get her out. “Perfect, you decided to kill Adonis, I know he isn’t really a favourite, but where in your mind did that pan out to be a good idea?” she asked letting out an annoyed sigh “Don’t, don’t answer that” she spoke and looked back at him. When he came closer, she moved a little away so he could give her the vial of antidote. “I think we need to get her to the hospital” Lucille spoke with a softer voice, actually she liked that idea much better. Just get her out, and leave her in the hands of someone else.

One should know better than to tell River not to answer that, because he then wanted to more than before. "Don't come at me for that, he was sneaking around just around our corners as well. The chances of him smelling me after he had killed her was far to high for my liking, and he will come back. I swear they are not werewolves, more like werecockroaches," he mumbled and shook his head. Then he walked over to give the antidote and sighed a little bit. River mumbled something not even sure to himself what he was mumbling, he didn't like his entire family was here around town, just waiting for a surprise visit. "Just one big family reunion waiting to happen around the corner," he let out a small groan. "She was just ready for him to kill her, pathetic," he mumbled the last part, not able to tell himself if he was mad at the situation or his mother for actually just wanting to give up. It was not the person he remembered. "She wanted to get in contact with my father, she at least requested to call him - and like that is going to happen," he mumbled a little underneath his breath. His parents were one complicated story about his father not loving his mother, and his mother not really being the mother of the year - not that either of his parents were parents of the millennium for that matter. So, no, they didn't deserve to now in all the chaos just to figure things out and try things out - no, he was not going to have it. "But sure thing, lets take her to the hospital were more of my siblings work and fucking hell man - is it too late to move back to Russia?"

She couldn’t help herself to roll her eyes,  when he called the werewolves from the Radclyffee pack, for werecockroaches. “Imagine that, now that is scary” she mumbled, she looked how he gave her the antidote, but it didn’t seem like it had the best effect other than slow the process of the blacklines traveling from the bite up her shoulder. “You moved here, knowing that at least one of your siblings already lived here, and when there is one Addams they always multiply, that’s the thing with you vampires, your like vamroaches” she looked him dead in the eye and let out a small ha. To tell him just how funny she found that ‘joke’. “And to be fair, you are just as bad as the rest of your family, I never understood why you hated them so much, and maybe your mother has nothing left to live for – why am I defending your family to you?!” she rolled her eyes again and threw her hands up in the air. “I’m going to get the car and drive it around back, and then we are taking her to the hospital, unless you actually want her dead, because I would like her to fix this bond she made between us, which means we need her alive” she had a small fear that if Revna died, it would mean something horrible to herself as well. Vampires always worked angels like that. “Sure, let’s move back to Russia, or – we rip of the band aid, and realise the only one that actually wants to see you, is your sister, Ace hates all of you, and Oscar – well, he only ever really liked his children he got with Melanie” she grabbed the keys “Be a moment!” she shouted as she moved around found a car and drove it around back. Then she walked inside again and picked up the body of Revna. “You coming?” she asked as she walked back out and placed the vampire in the back of the car and placed herself behind the wheel.

I never understood why you hated them so much, he clicked his tongue a little bit. River had his reasons. The reasons holding of him watching his parents together, his father not loving his mother, his father not loving him - not completely. Being the oldest, and yet they had gotten another child four years after that. People who just shouldn't have had children. And he had helped taking care of Aria back then, but he had also just been a boy. Then he had been twelve when Ace had been born, still just a boy and his parents still didn't love each other. His mother hadn't been worthy of many awards and people today would tell story about that kind of neglect with disgust. Now, River wasn't father of the year, he had left Calliope and their child, then he had his two other sons whom he loved and had raised mostly himself - of course with help from Lucille. So, no, he didn't love his parents, he didn't hate his siblings not like that. Oddly enough he didn't say a word. Which was perhaps the weirdest thing of it all. He had grieved his mother despite all of it in the end, when the Radclyffee's had tortured and locked her up and River had thought they had killed his mother: he had grieved her. Been sad. Been seeking revenge. And for what? It had been pointless in the end. So, he had been leaning to his father, a father that didn't love him as much as he should. So, if they didn't love him, why should he even begin to return the favor?

River took a sharper breath in, as if he even needed air, right now it felt like he did. Then he turned his head to Lucille by the mention of taking care of the bond between them. For a moment it was the main reason he starred. Because a shot of fear rushed through him, because he felt like the things he had was slipping through his fingers out of the sudden. And he didn't like it. He didn't like having any sense of control left. "And don't I know it," he mumbled as Lucille made a speech about Aria being the only one who actually wanted to see him. He knew that.  He knew all of it. Then watching her grab the keys, closing his hands into fits as she left. Turning around he just looked at his mother sometimes wondering if it had just been easier if the wolves had gotten the best of her back then, then his grief wouldn't have been for nothing.

He didn't know how long he had just been standing there starring at her, till Lucille returned and picked up the body, it wasn't even because he was really thinking right now, his body just responded to the words of him tagging along, so he followed. Sitting at the front seat, looking shortly at Lucille, before letting his eyes turn to the road again.

It wasn’t the first time she had experienced River not saying anything. It could mean a lot of things, and none of it turned out good. Because it meant he was processing, processing meant dealing with unsolved issues. Issues that he usually drowned in expensive alcohol, sex and entertaining in the casino. Trauma coming from your childhood, and expanding over thousands of years, it did something to you. Just like it had done to Lucille. Just like River had done to her many times. She had been the one letting Bast take over her mind and body from time to time. After she had been forced to leave Aaron, carrying a child that was his. Hiding it away so she could raise it without the influence that came from being River’s bodyguard. So no, she didn’t force him to talk, nor said anything as they drove to the hospital. He would have to face his trauma, by saving his mother it was clear that he still cared. Maybe that could be the first steppingstone for him to get some closure. Well, to see that the mother he knew was dead and what was left was another woman in his mother’s body.

They finally got the hospital. And as she stepped out of the car, she walked to the other door opened it and gently pulled out Letha. The wound on her arm was starting to oose from some kind of weird liquid. “Remind me to never get bitten by Adonis” she mumbled, as she made sure that the light woman was placed in her arms. Almost like carrying a child she walked towards the hospital. “So, how much do you want to bet that Ace is working today?” she asked, walking inside, seeing if she could find someone that would help them. A beautiful Asian looking man stood by the nurse’s desk, bending over, and pointing at something at the computer as he turned his gaze towards the newcomers. He raised his brows, he walked towards them eying the vampire in the demons’ arms. “What can I do to help?” Max asked, giving them both a small smile. There was clearly something up with the female vampire. Seemed like he needed to page either Doctor Adwell or Doctor Darlington. He wasn’t really sure who was working today. “Come with me, I just need some information about her, and I get her admitted right away” he nodded and the smile disappeared as he half ran towards the nurse station and started checking up writing in the right forms and “I’m just going to see which doctor is available to check on her right away, Nurse Lowe will help you” Willow stepped out from behind the desk nodding “This way” the beautiful creature, that Lucille couldn’t really place what was, guided them towards a room that they had just gotten signed Letha into. Placed her in the bed and stepped away, so the nurse could check on her vitals. Max came into the room “I’ve paged Doctor Adwell, Doctor Darlington wasn’t working but I’ve paged him to call me so he can help us with medication” he looked at the black veins and took over from Willow. He eyed the giant puncture wounds “Werewolf bite?” he asked looking towards River and Lucille. “Yes” Lucille said nodding. Well, this wasn’t how she had expected valentine’s day going.

River just simply followed didn't way much till he remembered, Ace worked here as well. Brilliant. "Oh he is here, I can smell him," he mumbled. River just knew the scent of his siblings quite well, so he could stay away from them, had worked great till now. Walking inside, all the different smells, not that it bugged him was one of the oldest vampires out there, if anyone could control his thirst it was him. River just followed Lucille whilst still looking around, maybe he was looking for his brother after all? Once again he zoned a little bit out not really knowing how to place himself in this current situation than just being here, wanting to punch himself in the face so he would just wake up from this state, what was it? Shock? Now the nurse caught his attention rather quickly, she was something else it was rather clear. Werewolf bite? He blinked a little. "Not just any werewolf bite, the werewolf who bit her has a rather toxic bite, I've seen it kill others before within seconds, minutes, sometimes days," he cleared his throat a little. "She has some blood related ability that I reckon has kept it from reaching her heart and brain, gives why she is still alive." He informed scratching behind his right ear a little bit. Then a new scent hit him, which could only be from one thing. One of his father and Melanie's children. "What do we have here?" Clay asked looking at the very sick vampire in front of him. Right now in his zone he didn't even pay attention to River or the demon. Well, this looked to be the vampire that Adonis had bitten earlier today, which meant she or another had snapped Adonis' neck, made everything easier.

"Get me a few samples of her blood, I need to find out what sort of antidote we are looking for here," he looked towards Max with a nod. They had to find out how they could stop the poison from actually killing every single cell in the vampire's  body. And Clay didn't really feel like he could just call back home again and ask for a cure to a bite of Adonis, not after he had taken a better breath in and realized that the vampire close to him was his half brother - see now he could not just call back to Elias. But it didn't matter, he could do this without, after all he had far more different antidotes and he was confident one of them would work. "Keep her under close observation, get Lewis or Rivers down here to observe. And tell them to get me the second something changes," he then headed out again to walk towards his office to actually and hopefully make something that would work. As far as he knew she was stable for the moment, but if she woke up she could have hallucinations and trouble controlling herself - so he had to work fast, because he didn't really want to end up restraining her.

Max looked up as Clay stepped inside, he wanted to apologise for calling him in on his day off. But that was the thing about being irreplaceable. Especially when cases like this came in, then you needed the best there was. Willow was quick to start cutting of Letha’s shirt so they could move it and start taking her blood. Willow moved and Max took over. They worked like a well-oiled machine, not even talking as she handed him the things that he needed to fill the vials. He handed them to Clay before he left. Removing his gloves he knew that Willow would take over and make sure they got all the information that they needed. Then he went down the hall to get either Doctor Adwell or Doctor Lews. Luckily for him he ran into Adwell on up the stairs to the next floor. “Doctor Adwell” Max greeted and quickly turned around to follow him back to the room. “A patient was brought too us by a man and a woman. The patient is a female vampire, I would guess she is rather old given her aura” he started before following up with explaining what was going on “she has been bitten by a werewolf, it would seem that his bite is filled with some kind of poison that isn’t usually seen in werewolves, she is right now fighting the infection trying to get to her heart, we have started flushing her system and Doctor Darlington is already working on finding a cure, she has a few lasherations on her neck but nothing we are concerned about, its more the bite that won’t heal and the poison in her system – Doctor Darlington would like another doctor to monitor her condition as we don’t know what will happen if she wakes up” he added, walking the rest away before showing Ace into the room where Letha had been taken care of by Willow  –

Willow got Letha hooked up on the machines to monitor her heart, they needed to start flushing her system hoping it would slow down the process. She found a saltwater bag, put it on a hanger, as she placed an IV-drop in her hand. Checking the rest of her vitals and her response while shining in her eyes she turned towards River and Lucille. “Alright, it would seem Doctor Adwell will be here to monitor her in a moment, I’ll just go and check what we have on her, any emergency contacts you know about already?” She asked, giving them both a beautiful smile. Lucille almost forgot how to speak as she looked at the beautiful woman in front of her. No makeup, hair pulled back in a braid and in her light pink uniform. “Well, maybe Oscar Addams” Lucille said, cursing herself what on earth was this creature. Willow nodded, walking towards the door as Max and Ace entered she gave Ace a bright smile before she walked back to the nurse desk.

Ace was already on his way. His eyes were glued to every corner he had to make, and he easily moved from one end to another. He was on his way downstairs when Max called his name, “Nurse Aphelion,” he spoke loud and clear. While they were walking Max introduced the case he had been called to. An elder vampire who had been bitten. The bite had been poisonous with something that wasn’t usual. Her system was being flushed and Doctor Darlington was working on a cure. Ace was needed to monitor everything while Doctor Darlington was working. Super. “She’ll go crazy, that’s for sure,” Ace mumbled a little under his breath, not really looking forward to a possible awakening by the female vampire. He followed Max into the room. Though many might pick up that it was one’s sibling standing in the room with their bodyguard, Ace didn’t. He barely even noticed Willows bright smile. He instead quickly made sure his hands were clean before he walked over to the patient. Letha for the love of God.
His ability was immediately picking up on any injury the poor mother had and tried to keep an eye on all the machinery that the nurses had made sure to arrange. He then went and put on some gloves so he could pick up Letha’s arm to inspect it. “When was she bitten?” he asked with a clear voice.

Doctor Adwell? Addams, Adwell, very creative Ace. River rolled his eyes of it, but if anything really did make this right it was the pretty creature walking around them, almost able to push River out of this horrible day he felt like he was having. River's face turned to Lucille with pure disgust when she mentioned Oscar, River's father. Now why would she do that? The pretty one left and in returned the angel and Ace, River let out a sigh. And then his brother didn't even look at him, what was this shit show? "Hello brother, how delightful to see you too," River sighed with a small grimace and a rolled his eyes a little before he felt like he obviously had to give some details since he was the one who had been there. "Early evening. By Adonis Radclyffee," well now Ace knew who they had been dealing with, nothing good. "For some reason they are eager to call our father, you wouldn't happen to know why?" River crossed his arms. Now when was the last time him and Ace actually had been in the same room, how many thousands of years were it by now? Well his brother didn't even look at him despite he responded, making River just to seconds from wanting to go over and slap his brother just to wake him up. Odd how someone you ignored by choice could piss you off this easily. "You are just going to ignore me? Great. Great."

Lucille had to restrain herself both from chuckling and rolling her eyes all at the same time. Max on the other hand looked a little taken aback with the fact of how the man was talking to Doctor Adwell. Now, people did tend to get a little taken aback with how Ace Adwell could be, in a sense that he was very matter-of-fact and didn’t put much thought in how he worded himself. Which made him a very efficient doctor, but not always the most liked. On the other hand, they had Nia Lewis and Cecilia Rivers. To even out the two stoic people that Ace and Ash formed. “I’m just, going to check on how Nurse Rowe is doing” he mumbled, pushing himself out of the room, hopefully it would resolve itself peacefully, and if it was brothers in there, he had a feeling that the woman in the bed was either a sister or their mother. Now that was a family he didn’t want to come in between with.

Willow found the emergency contact for Letha Aetós, it seemed like it wasn’t her first time being admitted, and she had served in the military which made it fairly easy to get all the information they needed. She quickly sent some of the allergies to Clay, even if there was a chance he didn’t even needed them. Then she picked up the phone and called the one listed, Oscar Addams. She waited a couple of minutes and then it got picked up “Hello, I’m nurse Rowe, I’m calling from Aston Hospital, I calling to inform you that Letha Aetós was admitted twenty minutes ago, and you are listed at her emergency contact” she licked her lips waiting for Oscar to respond “I would recommend that you came in, she is in critical condition and we are doing everything we can at this moment” nodding a little, she answered what she could, before she said her goodbyes and hung up. Looking towards Max that came walking back letting out a soft breath.

Ace wasn’t responding to River’s greeting. He was working, and a greeting could wait for whenever Letha was doing better. Even though Ace didn’t respond to River’s information, he did listen. Almost everything that came out of River’s mouth right this moment was useful. Adonis Radclyfee. Super. Then they had an idea what Letha was going through right now. Ace let his hand glide over his mother’s body, hovering it over almost as if he scanned her. Even though Ace was quiet, he was calculating in his head with the minutes and how fast her blood had been flooding through her body. She was a lucky woman with the blood ability she had. He only just looked up at Nurse Aphelion as he announced his leave. Ace gave him a quick nod before he returned his gaze to Letha.


Sweet, sweet Oscar, said no one ever. He had prepared a candlelit dinner for Letha and simply told her to be home at a specific time. Now he had waited a little too long and blew out the candle and put the food in the fridge, after all, he couldn’t eat it. Some might believe that Oscar was desperate to talk with just someone since he had called his daughter to come over. It was quite odd all in all, but Aria had kept close as much as possible and hadn’t waited a moment to go to his place. It was only when Oscars phone rang and he told her to shut up, that there was quite in the house. He furrowed his brows as he heard who had called. He sighed when he heard that Letha had been admitted to the hospital. “Let me guess… I should get going?” he spoke softly. He was recommended to come in and her condition was critical. What the hell had she been doing? “Fucks sake… Yes, I’ll be there in a second,” he said before he just ended the call. Now of course he could ask several questions, but why waste time when he could get answers when he was there?

River rolled his eyes once again, not really appreciating Ace just ignoring him. Really, well back to the fact from earlier, he shouldn't care about people who didn't care about even answering him, so he was just close to walk out of there. Real close, why was he even staying? River could care less about what fate his mother had, now couldn't he? It seemed by how Ace inspected her that he had seen her not that long ago, which could be anything from Yesterday to a hundred years ago - who knew. Well, River wasn't over the fact that his mother actually had thanked him for helping, it had never happened before.

Clay looked towards Willow as she called the emergency contact, he heard the voice on the other end and realized it was his father, making him take a slightly deeper breath in before working a bit faster in using everything he had in hand to find something that could cure the infected tissue. It helped that Clay was not just an expect in the field, but also knew werewolf nature and vampire nature quite well, and even better - he had just been inside Adonis' mind, which only made Clay needing to visit that place again throughout his own memories and find the places where Adonis himself had mentioned ingredients that was seen to help making a cure. And finally, he had sort it out - he hoped at least, returning to the room with a box where he had placed a few different vials. Because it was not just an easy little fix. She would still be tired after, tired and thirsty. "The first one should reverse the effect, kill the poison that is in the system already, second one should be able to heal the wound - if it fails I have a few other plans up my sleeve, but lets just hope it doesn't come to that," he looked towards Ace with a small nod handling him the first needle, so he could start the treatment.

It felt cold and hot at the same time. Was that even possible? Being hot? she hadn’t been hot in around nine thousand years. She wanted to scream and move her body. But she couldn’t. She hated this, oh how she hated this. She kept fighting, even though she had looked into Adonis’ eyes almost dared him to just end her. Letha had never stopped using her powers against the poison that wanted to get to her brain and heart. Because she wanted to fight, when it came down to it she didn’t want to die.

A scream left her as she felt something rush through her system. She sat straight up. Grabbing the first and best she could. Looking into their eyes, tears sprung up in hers. “Tora? Mamma?” she whispered, feeling her breath elevate. Her mother had come to her? No, that couldn’t be true. Her mother had died, many years ago. “Mamma, kom du tillbaka?” she asked, felling weak as she let the strong grip go of whom ever, she had been taking a hold of. Tears sprung from her eyes ”var och en vänlig nog att förlåta mig” she begged as she leaned back, then it felt like her whole body was fighting against her, spasming and cramping before it finally stopped. And there was nothing.

For a moment, there was nothing. No brain activity almost as if she was dead. And then –

“Fuuuuuck!” Letha gasped as she sat right back up clenching her chest and wincing from the light as she looked towards River, Lucille then at Ace and whomever it was standing there looking at her. “I might throw up, urgh, that – never want to do that again” she complained licking her lips falling back down closing her eyes. Where on earth was he?

Ace looked over his shoulder towards the door as Clay entered. “Glad you came,” he said giving Clay a friendly smile. Ace looked at the vials shortly as he announced what the different ones should do to her. While he explained, he made sure to clean the spot where he would be inserting the vials content. Ace had already prepared himself to work, and therefor quickly received the needle for the first part of the treatment. He inserted the needle, so it would take care of the poison and quickly took the next needle and vial to finish the treatment. Now Ace had seen these bites a couple of times and had tried to help victims before with very few survivors, and he knew it wouldn’t be pretty. So, he gave the used tools to Clay and ordered him to take a step away. Of Clay and Ace, Ace would be the one most suited for whatever might be coming at them.

Oscar arrived at the hospital, almost dragging his daughter along with him. “Letha Aetós,” he announced, but quickly decided that the front desk was too slow and simply just sped up to her scent.

And there she went. She sat up and grabbed onto Ace’s shoulders. He was looking straight into her eyes and held his hands on her shoulders. His ability was cautious of her injuries and was only helping her in the process. He let her go through the hallucination, because from the language, she was Revna for a moment. He helped her lean back again. He didn’t trust it for a moment and therefore held his hands on her shoulders. She started to spasm and cramp and suddenly everything stopped. He waited for a moment before he let go of her. He focused on her brain, seeing how the brain seemed to give up, “No, no,” He mumbled clenching his jaw. No doctor liked seeing a patient die, did they?

Just as Letha sat back up Oscar arrived, standing in the door. Aria managed to run a couple steps past Letha’s room before she found her way back to Oscar. Oscars eyes was running wildly over the poor girl all the way from the door. Ace was quick however to get a container that was usually used for puke. Oscar stepped inside, approaching everyone that was in the room. “What the hell is going on?” he asked and looked from Clay to Ace, to River and lastly Lucille. “Did you find her?” he asked keeping his eyes on River for a moment. Aria had folded her hands on her back and slowly let her short body appear. She almost looked disappointed when she saw who was in the bed. She just remembered how… Sweet lookalike of her mom had been at the gala. It was so odd. Her eyes traveled around the doctors and ended up at River and… Lucille. God that woman was straight up a Goddess… So, of course, Aria snuck her way over to stand between River and Lucille. “It’s good to see you,” she said first eyeing River and then Lucille, hoping to be able to adore her for a little longer.

Clay gave Ace a small smile, "and letting you get all the credit for this, not a chance," he said as a friendly tease. Now maybe not the best time, but if you didn't find the time in a situation like this then what was everything really about? Besides, he had to keep his head up after everything he had been pushing himself through over the last couple of hours. Then letting Ace take over this part of the treatment, taking a smaller breath in smelling his father coming in closer, just as Letha sat up, grabbing Ace - speaking for a moment Clay wasn't really sure what she was speaking.

The body spasmed out and for a moment it looked like, well like death. But Clay knew, it wasn't the end. He was confident in his own abilities and even if her brain shut down for just a brief second, he lifted up his finger to Ace to tell him to be patient for a moment. Then he picked up on the brain coming back before the machines or anyone else, perks of being able to enter other people's mind with the ease Clayton could. Clay placed a hand on the upper part of Letha's back and removed some of her hair so it was behind her shoulders. Then his father came in throwing questions right away. However Clay was not going to respond to his father right now, Letha had the first priority of making sure she was alright giving she was his patient.

Now River hated, perhaps a little jealous over the friendly smile Ace gave Clay, their half brother. Then their father arrived. Funny, the whole situation where their mother had almost died hadn't really touched him, he had been far to focused on the whole bonding with Ace and Clay even if it was seemly just them working together. And then their father arrived. Of course, they had after all called him. Aria was here too, now they only just missed their other half sister, Clay's older sister - and then of course their other half brother and they would be ready for the new reality show. "I found her," he finally confirmed. "In the ally," he replied a little bit dry. River looked towards his little sister who finally dared to sneak out and between him and Lucille. "Likewise," he breathed out looking back at his mother, Ace, Clay and their father. Clay  looked at Letha, "there is some blood on the way, you need to get filled up. But first I will take another sample just to make sure that there isn't anymore of the poison in your system," he said before taking another blood sample and ran it through the system he had next to his computer and let his eyes run over the screen. "Good news, it's out. Good as new," he smiled then looking back to his father with a nod to everything being fine.

Now everyone was gathered. Perfect. Lucille rolled her eyes and took a step back folding her arms feeling the leather jacket press against her skin as she did so. Letha looked around pressing her brows together, then they stopped by the succubus. For a moment both of the women just started at each other, before Letha had to pull her eyes away. A new person entered the room. Oscar, a smile appeared on her lips, once again it disappeared wait. She was supposed to be home a couple of hours ago. Man, this was bad. Letha hummed a little watching Ace and Clay work with her. “Well, that’s good” she mumbled feeling a little disoriented with everyone around her. “Anything for that, really awful taste in my mouth. And it feels like my head has been smashed through a wall or something” She hissed, letting her hand find her hair.

Lucille looked down at the small vampire, letting out a small, annoyed sigh. “Hello” she greeted Aria, before letting her arms glide out of the hold she had over her chest. My god, she understood why River was in such a bad mood. Not that she would understand the reason. But it all just seemed, a bit to chaotic for her liking. But she stayed by his side, even though she wanted nothing more than to just walk out and get some fresh air. Maybe find that beautiful creature once again. And almost as if she had read her mind Willow pressed through the door. “Looks who up and about again” she said with a light singing voice. She had to be some kind of nymph, why else would she be so drawing? “Now, how about, everyone that is not a doctor nor the patient walk out of the roam, there is a waiting area just around the corner, we need some breathing room to make sure everything is okay” she started guiding people out “let’s go folks, give Miss Atéos some moments to breathe without it being a circus” she reprimanded in a sweet and alluring voice.
