It had been some long days for Howie these parts weeks, wanting to display what he could at the show for the upcoming prom. Sweat was gliding down his neck as he went over to the side and picked up a small towel and his drinking bottle. “I’m not quite sure if this move really fits in?” he looked over to Victoria and breathed in, maybe they just needed to get a little out of their head?

He dried of his neck and drowned the rest of the water in the plastic bottle “you hold that thought, then I’ll just quickly run out and refill this!” he ran towards the door and turned around in a swift movement only a skilled dancer could “Need anything? I could always raid the teachers’ lounge for you?” it was said with a slight teasing tone as he winked towards her, since she was his teacher. Yeah, remember Howie, your teacher.

After she answered him, he would laugh on his way out to the toilet and fill his bottle with new fresh water. He looked into the mirror and took in a deep breath before splashing ice cold water onto his face and let the water glide down his warm and slightly sweaty face.
After a few breaths he walked into the dancing room again. “Alrighty, how about just putting on a song and get out of our heads for a moment?” he asked looking at her with a slight smile on his lips.

She had not been up till speed till at least a few days ago, the main reason she had given Howard - Howie, the responsibility to make it work out. Now that she had her head a bit cleare again, she could at least focus on getting out of her own head. Victoria wanted to go over what she had missed and she knew he had worked super hard on this. More than anyone really. Her eyes was on him, analyzing the way his body moved, his footwork, everything. "I see what you mean, maybe we can, you know -" she moved her to her hair to get the pink highlighed hair up into a ponytail, and walked to the floor trying to do that part of the chorography, but he was right something was off with that movement, it didn't feel as natural to make. Victoria frowned a bit, trying to figure out how they could make the move more fluent so it would fit naturally to the routine. You hold that thought she nodded to him with a smaller chuckle. "Will do," she replied placing her hands on her hips. Maybe she was overthinking it. Victoria turned her eyes back on him, when he asked if she needed anything. "Yeah, do that. Grab whatever your heart desire," she pointed at him, not really remembering what was left in their lounge, but Alison sure didn't let them starve. "Or we can wait till after, we will need some energy to recharge afterwards."

Victora stayed in the room, trying to get the move right over and over again. Clearly overthinking it, making it too forced. To wrapped up in making it perfect. He returned and a smile lighted up on her lips, as she placed her hands on her hips. Victoria narrowed her eyes a little with a slightly cheeky smile, "I like the way you think Howie," she pointed out before heading over to put the music on, then moving directly to the floor closer to Howie. "Ready to let your body drive you?"

He winked at her, and a half smile formed on his lips as his eyes followed her as she walked over to the stereo to put on some music. The beats filled the room as they came out of the speakers. He could feel the heat as she walked towards him again, he could see how every move she made was on the beat with the sounds, and it made him flow with his body trying to take it in, as she was close enough, he grabbed her around her waist and pulled her flush against him. “Yes” he said and looked down at her, his eyes finding her matching brown ones. Without much word he started following whatever he felt right, moving with her, with the music. A laugh left him as they parted again and somehow, they found their rhythm and matched with steps even as they had never rehearsed these steps with each other.

As the music slowed down, he walked over to her, his hand finding the back of his and pulled her closer. Their foreheads met and his hand glided down her arm, under it, grabbing her waist it was wild how good their dancing chemistry was. You should look far for finding someone that he felt he could just fall into the music and let her body movements move him with the music.
