The sound of a baby's cry woke him up. Marcel sat up in the bed as he groaned softly in a tired tone. He looked at the clock. 3 in the morning, just on time. It only took a couple of seconds for another baby to be heard as well. He rolled over to Zitora and poked her shoulder with his nose as he nuzzled his face against her collarbone, "Zee... The babies are up again," he whispered as he then got up and walked to the babies room. He stepped in and walked over to Valeria's crib as he picked her up, looking over at Lucia's crib as he rocked Valeria back and forth in his arms, "Shhhhh, it's alright, daddy is here," he reassured the crying baby as he looked at the door for Zitora. She was probably asleep again, and how could he blame her? It had taken forever to get the babies to finally sleep, so both of them had to be exhausted. He went over to the other crib as he picked up the other crying baby to then walk back into their bedroom. He placed the babies between them as he laid down and gently stroked Valeria's tummy. "Now now... It's alright, you probably had a night fright again," he whispered and placed a kiss on the baby's temple. He looked up at Zitora and made a tired smile. "Never thought twins would be this much hardwork," he mumbled as he looked down at their twins.
